2Geochronologic constraints on magmatic intrusions and mineralization of the Zhunuo porphyry copper deposit in Gangdese,Tibet显示文摘In situ zircon U-Pb ages for the recently discovered Zhunuo porphyry copper deposit in the western part of the Gangdese metallogenic belt in Tibet were determined by sensitive high-resolution ion mi-croprobe(SHRIMP) . The ages can be divided into two separate groups,reflecting more than four major tectono-magmatic events in the area. The 62.5±2.5 Ma age of inherited zircons may be related to the volcanic eruption of the Linzizong Group formed shortly after the India-Asia continental collision. The 50.1±3.6 Ma age most likely corresponds to the time of underplating of mantle-derived mafic magma in Gangdese. The 15.6±0.6 Ma age obtained from magmatic zircons is interpreted as the age of crystalli-zation of the Zhunuo ore-forming porphyry. Finally,a molybdenite Re-Os isochron age of 13.72±0.62 Ma is consistent with another zircon U-Pb age of 13.3 ±0.2 Ma,representing the time of copper mineraliza-tion. These ages,in combination with available literature data,indicate that magmatic crystallization and copper mineralization in the Gangdese metallogenic belt became gradually younger westward,and further suggest that the Zhunuo porphyry copper deposit was formed in the same tectonic stage as other porphyry copper deposits in the eastern and central Gangdese belt. 5Roof pre-blasting to prevent support crushing and water inrush accidents显示文摘Support crushing and water inrush when mining under an unconsolidated confined aquifer in the Qidong Coal Mine was prevented by roof pre-blasting. The mechanism and applicable conditions for this method have been studied. The results show that when an overburden structure that may cause support crushing and a water inrush accident exists the weakening of the primary key stratum, which thereby reduces its weighting step, roof pre-blasting is both feasible and effective. If the position of the primary key stratum can be moved upward to exceed 10 times the mining height the possibility of support crushing and water inrush disaster caused by key stratum compound breakage will be lowered. The overburden structure of the number 7121 working face was considered during the design of a technical proposal involving roof pre-blasting. After comprehensively analyzing the applicability of roof pre-blasting the resulting design prevented support crushing and water inrush disasters from happening at the number 7121 working face and laid a solid foundation for mining safely.Wang Xiaozhen 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,3:10

7Seasonal variations of carboxylic acids and their contributions to the rainwater acidity: A case study of Guiyang and Shangzhong,China显示文摘Low molecule weight carboxylic acids are ubiquitous and important chemical constituents in the troposphere.Seven carboxylic acids in the rainwater of Guiyang and Shangzhong were simultaneously determined by ion chromatography from April 2006 to April 2007.Formic, acetic and oxalic acids were found to be the predominant carboxylic acids.Their volume weighted average concentration (VWA) in the rainwater of Guiyang were 14.24 μmol/L, 9.35 μmol/L and 2.79 μmol/L, respectively;as compared to 4.95 μmol/L, 1.35 μmol/L and 2.31 μmol/L in the rainwater of Shangzhong.In Shangzhong it is witnessed that the concentra-tions of these acids were higher in the summer than in the winter and direct emissions from vegetations or soils may account for the main provenance of the acids.This is, however, not the case in Guiyang, where the concentrations of the carboxylic acids were higher during the non-growing season than during the growing season.The relatively weak scavenging affected by scarce and little rainwater as well as the particles accompanied with the rainfall may have some effect on the carboxylic acids during the wintertime in Guiyang.Carboxylic acids in the rainwater of Guiyang were estimated to account for 18.7% to the free acidity, where formic, acetic and oxalic acids accounted for 7.9%, 4.7%, 6.1%, respectively.In Shangzhong, the 3 primary carboxylic acids represented 58.1% to the free acidity where formic, acetic and oxalic acids represented 25.1%, 7.5%, 25.5%, respectively.Carboxylic anions accounted for 6.6% (1.7%–19.2%) to the total anions in the rainwater of Guiyang.Carboxylic anions repre-sented 13.2% (0.5%–92.2%) to the total anions in the rainwater of Shangzhong.These results indicated that carboxylic acids were the important contributors to the rainwater acidity, especially in remote regions.XU Gang LEE XinQing LU YingChun CHEN YingJun HUANG DaiKuan 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,16:5

9A novel approach for fabricating a CNT/AlSi composite with the self-aligned nacre-like architecture by cold spraying显示文摘A fully dense carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced AlSi matrix composite with the multiscale nacre-like architecture was designed and successfully realized by flake powder metallurgy followed by cold spraying (CS). The nanolaminated and ultrafine-grained structure initially created in the CNT/AlSi flaky powder was perfectly conserved, due to the typical ‘cold’ feature of CS. As discussed based on finite element analysis and single splat observation, self-alignment behavior of the flaky powders during impact also allowed the formation of the microlaminated structure. 12Measurement of Attenuation of Ultrasonic Propagating through the Thin Layer Media with Time Delay Spectrum显示文摘The ultrasonic attenuation coefficient is one of the most important acoustic parameters to character the performance of a thin layer media, but it can not be measured due to mutual superposition of multiple reflected waves at the same interface in ultrasonic testing. Ultrasonic pulse echo and lamb wave to evaluate the thin layer media can not obtain attenuation coefficient at present. In this paper, analytical method was used to study the acoustics characteristic of thin layer media with the ultrasonic echo testing. Meanwhile, the process of ultrasonic attenuation measurement was presented. Simulation and experimental investigation is focused on a thin layer of rubber. Attenuation coefficient was introduced and evaluation mathematics model was established by the two echoes cross-correlation with and without the thin layer media based on the time delay spectrum. It involved the parameters related to the acoustic properties of the thin layer media. Through calculating the sound velocity and acoustic impedance with the evaluation model, it can deduce the relation between the attenuation coefficient and the frequency. Through analyzing the simulation results, it indicated that the attenuation coefficients were invariable with the varying of the frequency. However, the attenuation coefficients increased with the frequency increasing by ultrasonic testing the thin layer of rubber. The reason was that the attenuation factor was not taken into account during the simulation. This method overcomes shortcomings that the traditional ultrasonic testing can not evaluate the thin layer media whose thickness is less than motivation wavelength. 13Rapid, automated, and reliable antimicrobial susceptibility test from positive blood culture by CAST‐R显示文摘Antimicrobial susceptibility tests(ASTs)are pivotal in combating multidrug resistant pathogens,yet they can be time‐consuming,labor‐intensive,and unstable.Using the AST of tigecycline for sepsis as the main model,here we establish an automated system of Clinical Antimicrobials Susceptibility Test Ramanometry(CAST‐R),based on D2O‐probed Raman microspectroscopy.Featuring a liquid robot for sample pretreatment and a machine learning‐based control scheme for data acquisition and quality control,the 3‐h,automated CAST‐R process accelerates AST by>10‐fold,processes 96 paralleled antibiotic‐exposure reactions,and produces high‐quality Raman spectra.The Expedited Minimal Inhibitory Concentration via Metabolic Activity is proposed as a quantitative and broadly applicable parameter for metabolism‐based AST,which shows 99%essential agreement and 93%categorical agreement with the broth microdilution method(BMD)when tested on 100 Acinetobacter baumannii isolates.Further tests on 26 clinically positive blood samples for eight antimicrobials,including tigecycline,meropenem,ceftazidime,ampicillin/sulbactam,oxacillin,clindamycin,vancomycin,and levofloxacin reveal 93%categorical agreement with BMD‐based results.The automation,speed,reliability,and general applicability of CAST‐R suggest its potential utility for guiding the clinical administration of antimicrobials.Pengfei Zhu Lihui Ren Ying Zhu Jing Dai Huijie Liu Yuli Mao Yuandong Li Yuehui He Xiaoshan Zheng Rongze Chen Xiaoting Fu Lili Zhang Lijun Sun Yuanqi Zhu Yuetong Ji Bo Ma Yingchun Xu Jian Xu Qiwen Yang 2022mLife2022,1,3:3
14Cobalt Sulfide Confined in N-Doped Porous Branched Carbon Nanotubes for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) are considered new generation of large-scale energy-storage devices.However,LIBs suffer from a lack of desirable anode materials with excellent specific capacity and cycling stability.In this work,we design a novel hierarchical structure constructed by encapsulating cobalt sulfide nanowires within nitrogen-doped porous branched carbon nanotubes(NBNTs)for LIBs.The unique hierarchical Co9S8@NBNT electrode displayed a reversible specific capacity of 1310 mAhg-1 at a current density of 0.1 Ag-1,and was able to maintain a stable reversible discharge capacity of 1109 mAhg-1 at a current density of 0.5 Ag-1 with coulombic efficiency reaching almost 100% for 200 cycles.The excellent rate and cycling capabilities can be ascribed to the hierarchical porosity of the one-dimensional Co9S8@NBNT internetworks,the incorporation of nitrogen doping,and the carbon nanotube confinement of the active cobalt sulfide nanowires offering a proximate electron pathway for the isolated nanoparticles and shielding of the cobalt sulfide nanowires from pulverization over long cycling periods.Yongsheng Zhou Yingchun Zhu Bingshe Xu Xueji Zhang Khalid A.Al.Ghanim Shahid Mahboob 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2:3
15Cryptococcus neoformans,a global threat to human health显示文摘Background Emerging fungal pathogens pose important threats to global public health. The World Health Organization has responded to the rising threat of traditionally neglected fungal infections by developing a Fungal Priority Pathogens List (FPPL). Taking the highest-ranked fungal pathogen in the FPPL,Cryptococcus neoformans, as a paradigm, we review progress made over the past two decades on its global burden, its clinical manifestation and management of cryptococcal infection, and its antifungal resistance. The purpose of this review is to drive research efforts to improve future diagnoses, therapies, and interventions associated with fungal infections.Methods We first reviewed trends in the global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal infection, mainly based on a series of systematic studies. We next conducted scoping reviews in accordance with the guidelines described in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses extension for Scoping Reviews using PubMed and ScienceDirect with the keywordCryptococcus neoformans to identify case reports of cryptococcal infections published since 2000. We then reviewed recent updates on the diagnosis and antifungal treatment of cryptococcal infections. Finally, we summarized knowledge regarding the resistance and tolerance ofC. neoformans to approved antifungal drugs.Results There has been a general reduction in the estimated global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis since 2009, probably due to improvements in highly active antiretroviral therapies. However, cryptococcal meningitis still accounts for 19% of AIDS-related deaths annually. The incidences of CM in Europe and North America and the Latin America region have increased by approximately two-fold since 2009, while other regions showed either reduced or stable numbers of cases. Unfortunately, diagnostic and treatment options for cryptococcal infections are limited, and emerging antifungal resistance exacerbates the public health burden.Conclusions The rising threat ofC. neoformans is compounded by accumulating evidence for its ability to infect immunocompetent individuals and the emergence of antifungal-resistant variants. Emphasis should be placed on further understanding the mechanisms of pathogenicity and of antifungal resistance and tolerance. 19The Determination of Canthaxanthin in Feed Ingredients by High Performance Liquid Chromatography显示文摘A series of studies were conducted to establish a methodology for the accurate and efficient determination of can-thaxanthin in feed ingredients.Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse DB-C18 analytical column(4.6×150 mm,5 μm) was used and kept at 25℃.The mobile phase was acetonitrile:methanol(v/v)=95 :5,and eluted compounds were detected by DAD absorbance(470 nm).The flow rate was maintained at 1.0 mL · min-1.The response of the method was linear over the range 1.0-20.0 μg· mL-1 canthaxanthin assay solution(R2=0.9998).Recovery assays done with standard canthaxanthin to feed ingredient resulted in an average recovery of 103%.Variation coefficient was less than 3.53%.This method is proved to be simple,precise,sensitive and reproductive.ZHANG Hua YANG Xin MA Ying DONG Aijun XU Weili ZHANG Yingchun 2008Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2008,15,2:1
