| 1 | Review of data storage and management technologies for massive remote sensing data显示文摘Aiming at the storage and management problems of massive remote sensing data,this paper gives a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics and advantages of thirteen data storage centers or systems at home and abroad. They mainly include the NASA EOS,World Wind,Google Earth,Google Maps,Bing Maps,Microsoft TerraServer,ESA,Earth Simulator,GeoEye,Map World,China Centre for Resources Satellite Data and Application,National Satellite Meteorological Centre,and National Satellite Ocean Application Service. | 2 | Signaling pathways and targeted therapy for myocardial infarction显示文摘Although the treatment of myocardial infarction(MI)has improved considerably,it is still a worldwide disease with high morbidity and high mortality.Whilst there is still a long way to go for discovering ideal treatments,therapeutic strategies committed to cardioprotection and cardiac repair following cardiac ischemia are emerging.Evidence of pathological characteristics in MI illustrates cell signaling pathways that participate in the survival,proliferation,apoptosis,autophagy of cardiomyocytes,endothelial cells,fibroblasts,monocytes,and stem cells.These signaling pathways include the key players in inflammation response,e.g.,NLRP3/caspase-1 and TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB;the crucial mediators in oxidative stress and apoptosis,for instance,Notch,Hippo/YAP,RhoA/ROCK,Nrf2/HO-1,and Sonic hedgehog;the controller of myocardial fibrosis such as TGF-β/SMADs and Wnt/β-catenin;and the main regulator of angiogenesis,PI3K/Akt,MAPK,JAK/STAT,Sonic hedgehog,etc.Since signaling pathways play an important role in administering the process of MI,aiming at targeting these aberrant signaling pathways and improving the pathological manifestations in MI is indispensable and promising.Hence,drug therapy,gene therapy,protein therapy,cell therapy,and exosome therapy have been emerging and are known as novel therapies.In this review,we summarize the therapeutic strategies for MI by regulating these associated pathways,which contribute to inhibiting cardiomyocytes death,attenuating inflammation,enhancing angiogenesis,etc.so as to repair and re-functionalize damaged hearts. | Qing Zhang Lu Wang Shiqi Wang Hongxin Cheng Lin Xu Gaiqin Pei Yang Wang Chenying Fu Yangfu Jiang Chengqi He Quan Wei | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 11 |
| 3 | The m^(6)A methylome of SARS-CoV-2 in host cells显示文摘The newly identified Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has resulted in a global health emergency because of its rapid spread and high mortality.The molecular mechanism of interaction between host and viral genomic RNA is yet unclear.We demonstrate herein that SARS-CoV-2 genomic RNA,as well as the negative-sense RNA,is dynamically N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)-modified in human and monkey cells.Combined RIP-seq and miCLIP analyses identified a total of 8 m^(6)A sites at single-base resolution in the genome.Especially,epidemic strains with mutations at these identified m^(6)A sites have emerged worldwide,and formed a unique cluster in the US as indicated by phylogenetic analysis.Further functional experiments showed that m^(6)A methylation negatively regulates SARS-CoV-2 infection.SARS-CoV-2 infection also triggered a global increase in host m^(6)A methylome,exhibiting altered localization and motifs of m^(6)A methylation in mRNAs.Altogether,our results identify m^(6)A as a dynamic epitranscriptomic mark mediating the virus–host interaction. | Jun’e Liu Yan-Peng Xu Kai Li Qing Ye Hang-Yu Zhou Hanxiao Sun Xiaoyu Li Liu Yu Yong-Qiang Deng Rui-Ting Li Meng-Li Cheng Bo He Jia Zhou Xiao-Feng Li Aiping Wu Chengqi Yi Cheng-Feng Qin | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,4: | 5 |

But with the enhancement of spatial resolution, some questions have arisen in the application of using traditional image processing and classification methods. | 10 | SnoRNP is essential for thermospermine-mediated development in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Polyamines have been discovered for hundreds of years and once considered as a class of phytohormones.Polyamines play critical roles in a range of developmental processes.However,the molecular mechanisms of polyamine signaling pathways remain poorly understood.Here,we measured the contents of main types of polyamines,and found that endogenous level of thermospermine(T-Spm)in Arabidopsis thaliana is comparable to those of classic phytohormones and is significantly lower than those of putrescine(Put),spermidine(Spd),and spermine(Spm).We further found a nodule-like structure around the junction area connecting the shoot and root of the T-Spm biosynthetic mutant acl5 and obtained more than 50 suppressors of acl5 nodule structure(san)through suppressor screening.An in-depth study of two san suppressors revealed that NAP57 and NOP56,core components of box H/ACA and C/D snoRNPs,were essential for T-Spm-mediated nodule-like structure formation and plant height.Furthermore,analyses of rRNA modifications showed that the overall levels of pseudouridylation and 2′-O-methylation were compromised in san1 and san2 respectively.Taken together,these results establish a strong genetic relationship between rRNA modification and T-Spm-mediated growth and development,which was previously undiscovered in all organisms. | Xilong Li Zongyun Yan Meiling Zhang Jiayin Wang Peiyong Xin Shujing Cheng Liquan Kou Xiaoting Zhang Songlin Wu Jinfang Chu Chengqi Yi Keqiong Ye Bing Wang Jiayang Li | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1: | 0 |
| 11 | The acceleration degradation processes of different aged refuses with the forced aeration for landfill reclamation显示文摘Forced aeration is one of the promising ways to accelerate landfill reclamation,and understanding the relation between aeration rates and waste properties is the prerequisite to implementing forced aeration under the target of energy saving and carbon reduction.In this work,landfill reclamation processes with forced aeration were simulated using aged refuses(ARs)of 1,4,7,10,and 13 disposal years,and the potential of field application was also investigated based on a field project,to identify the degradation rate of organic components,the O_(2)consumption efficiency and their correlations to microbes.It was found that the removal rate of organic matter declined from 20.3%(AR_(1))to 12.6%(AR_(13)),and that biodegradable matter(BDM)decreased from 5.2%to 2.4%at the set aeration rate of 0.12 L O_(2)/kg waste(Dry Matter,DM)/day.A linear relationship between the degradation rate constant(K)of BDM and disposal age(x)was established:K=−0.0002193x+0.0091(R^(2)=0.854),suggesting that BDM might be a suitable indicator to reflect the stabilization of ARs.The cellulose/lignin ratio decrease rate for AR1(18.3%)was much higher than that for AR13(3.1%),while the corresponding humic-acid/fulvic-acid ratio increased from 1.44 to 2.16.The dominant bacteria shifted from Corynebacterium(9.2%),Acinetobacter(6.6%),and Fermentimonas(6.5%),genes related to the decompose of biodegradable organics,to Stenotrophomonas(10.2%)and Clostridiales(3.7%),which were associated with humification.The aeration efficiencies of lab-scale tests were in the range of 5.4–11.8 g BDM/L O_(2)for ARs with disposal ages of 1–13 years,and in situ landfill reclamation,ARs with disposal ages of 10–18 years were around 1.9–8.8 g BDM/L O_(2),as the disposal age decreased.The increased discrepancy was observed in ARs at the lab-scale and field scale,indicating that the forced aeration rate should be adjusted based on ARs and the unit compartment combined,to reduce the operation cost. | Yihang Liu Chengqi Ning Qiujie Huang Zhaowen Cheng Weihua Cao Xianghui Wang Changfu Yang Hui Liu Jia Song Luochun Wang Ziyang Lou | 2023 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2023,5,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Central swallowing in normal adults using functional magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘BACKGROUND:While brain-imaging studies in healthy adults have indicated that multiple cortical regions are involved in swallowing,these functional imaging techniques have not been extensively applied to the complete understand neurophysiology of swallowing in China.A full understanding of normal swallowing neurophysiology is important for improving functional outcomes for dysphagia due to neurologic disorders or damage with increasing age.Thus the interpretations of the functional contributions of various brain areas in swallowing should be scientifically researched. OBJECTIVE:To identify the activation and characteristic of swallowing center in healthy adults using functional magnetic resonance imaging. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:An uncontrolled neuroimaging study was performed at the Outpatient Clinic,Department of Radiology,West China Hospital of Sichuan University between March and November 2008. PARTICIPANTS:Ten healthy right-handed volunteers,aged over 20 years with a mean age of(34.2±8.1) years,a range of 25-45 years and including five males and five females participated.A medical history was obtained from all potential subjects and all subjects were free of systemic diseases and neurological disorders. METHODS:The healthy volunteers were examined with event-related functional magnetic resonance imaging of blood oxygenation level-dependent while laryngeal swallow-related movements were recorded.Subjects were scanned during voluntary saliva swallowing and water bolus swallowing activation tasks.Data was processed using the General Linear Model.A voxel by voxel group comparison was performed using random effect analysis.Any cluster with a corrected P<0.05 for spatial extent was considered significant. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The cerebral cortical activation maps of voluntary swallowing of saliva and swallowing of water bolus in healthy adults were observed. RESULTS:A multifocal cortical representation of swallowing was in the precentral gyrus,postcentral gyrus,insula,anterior cingulate gyrus,thalamus,basal ganglia and cerebellum,in a bilateral and asymmetrical manner,predominantly on the left hemisphere in the volunteers(P<0.05).
