| 1 | Preparation of Core-Shell Composite of Y@Mesoporous Alumina and Its Application in Heavy Oil Cracking显示文摘A well core-shell composite of Y@meso-Al with a mesoporous alumina shell and a Y zeolite core was synthesized. The mesoporous alumina shell has a wormhole-like structure with large mesopores. The prepared catalytic cracking catalyst using this composite has exhibited excellent catalytic performance for heavy oil cracking thanks to its favorable physicochemical properties, such as high surface area, large pore volume and outstanding acid sites accessibility for large molecules provided by the composite. | 2 | Analytical validation of GMEX rapid point- of care CYP2C19 genotyping system for the CHANCE-2 trial显示文摘Background and purpose Rapid genotyping is useful for guiding early antiplatelet therapy in patients with high-risk nondisabling ischaemic cerebrovascular events(HR-NICE).Conventional genetic testing methods used in CYP2C19 genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy for patients with HR-NICE did not satisfy the needs of the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)-2 trial.Therefore,we developed the rapid-genotyping GMEX(point-of care)system to meet the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Methods Healthy individuals and patients with history of cardiovascular diseases(n=408)were enrolled from six centres of the CHANCE-2 trial.We compared the laboratory-based genomic test results with Sanger sequencing test results for accuracy verification.Next,we demonstrated the accuracy,timeliness and clinical operability of the GMEX system compared with laboratory-based technology(YZY Kit)to verify whether the GMEX system satisfies the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Results Genotypes reported by the GMEX system showed 100%agreement with those determined by using the YZY Kit and Sanger sequencing for all three CYP2C19 alleles(*2,*3 and*17)tested.The average result’s turnaround times for the GMEX and YZY Kit methods were 85.0(IQR:85.0-86.0)and 1630.0(IQR:354.0-7594.0)min(p<0.001),respectively.Conclusions Our data suggest that the GMEX system is a reliable and feasible point-of care system for rapid CYP2C19 genotyping for the CHANCE-2 trial or related clinical and research applications. | Xia Meng Anxin Wang Guojun Zhang Siying Niu Wei Li Sifei Han Fang Fang Xingquan Zhao Kehui Dong Zening Jin Huaguang Zheng Kelin Chen Hao Li Chengyuan Yang Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 7 |

| 4 | Environmental conditions and genetic differentiation:what drives the divergence of coexisting Leymus chinensis ecotypes in a large-scale longitudinal gradient?显示文摘Aims The two coexisting Leymus chinensis ecotypes exhibit remarkable divergences in adaptive strategies under drought and salinity in semi-humid meadows and semi-arid steppes.In order to detect the major genetic and environmental factors dominating the intraspecific phenotype variations and ecotype formation,the questions regarding the two distinct phenotypic forms(ecotypes)in L.chin-ensis were addressed:(i)did environments drive the L.chinensis ecotype formation?(ii)was there a molecular basis for the morphological divergence between the two ecotypes?(iii)which driving force dominated the intraspecies divergence,divergent natural selection,genetic drift or stabilizing selection?Methods We applied a series experiments on demographical,morphological and physiological traits of two Leymus chinensis ecotypes with gray green(GG)and yellow green(YG)leaf color in nine wild sites along a longitudinal gradient from 114°to 124°E in northeast China.The environmental data including mean annual precipitation,mean annual temperature,elevation and soil properties were collected.We compared the differences of morphological,physiological and genetic differentiations between the two ecotypes.Important FindingsThe GG type exhibited stronger fitness than YG type from the population densities,morphological traits(e.g.shoot height,leaf area,leaf and seed weights et al.),leaf mass per area(LMA)and physiological traits[relative water content(RWC),proline,soluble sugar contents].Most of above phenotypes(e.g.total shoot densities,spike length et al.)were significantly correlated with mean annual precipitation,mean annual temperature and soil water content(SWC),rarely a correlated with soil pH and soil nutrient.Transplanted populations showed convergence trend by their leaf chlorophyll contents and osmotic adjustments(proline and soluble sugar contents)in the greenhouse,but still exhibited their divergences between two ecotypes in the outdoor transplantation,suggesting that whether L.chinensis ecotype differentiated could be largely affected by the environmental conditions.Furthermore,by the comparison result of quantitative genetic variation(Q_(ST))values from phenotypes with theoretical neutral genetic differentiation(F_(ST)),differentiation in phenotypic traits greatly surpassed neutral predictions,implying that directional natural selection played a crucial role in L.chinen-sis ecotype differentiation.In addition,microsatellite analysis from Neighbor-joining tree and Bayesian assignment generated into two groups according to ecotypes,indicating molecular genetic differentiation also propelled the two ecotypes divergence.We conclude that L.chinensis population variations were driven by combing divergent natural selection(precipitation,temperature and SWCs)along the large-scale gradient and significantly intrinsic genetic differentiation. | Shan Yuan Chengyuan Guo Linna Ma Renzhong Wang | 2016 | Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,5: | 4 |
| 5 | ASAF: altered spontaneous activity fingerprinting in Alzheimer’s disease based on multisite fMRI显示文摘Several monocentric studies have noted alterations in spontaneous brain activity in Alzheimer's disease (AD), although there is no consensus on the altered amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations in AD patients. The main aim of the present study was to identify a reliable and reproducible abnormal brain activity pattern in AD. The amplitude of local brain activity (AM), which can provide fast mapping of spontaneous brain activity across the whole brain, was evaluated based on multisite rs-fMRI data for 688 subjects (215 normal controls (NCs), 221 amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) 252 AD). Two-sample t-tests were used to detect group differences between AD patients and NCs from the same site. Differences in the AM maps were statistically analyzed via the Stouffer's meta-analysis. Consistent regions of lower spontaneous brain activity in the default mode network and increased activity in the bilateral hippocampus/parahippocampus, thalamus, caudate nucleus, orbital part of the middle frontal gyrus and left fusiform were observed in the AD patients compared with those in NCs. Significant correlations (P?0.05, Bonferroni corrected) between the normalized amplitude index and Mini-Mental State Examination scores were found in the identified brain regions, which indicates that the altered brain activity was associated with cognitive decline in the patients. Multivariate analysis and leave-one-site-out cross-validation led to a 78.49% prediction accuracy for single-patient classification. The altered activity patterns of the identified brain regions were largely correlated with the FDG-PET results from another independent study. | 6 | The first discovery of Permian conodont fauna from peri-Gondwana cool water facies in Tibet,China显示文摘The Angjie Formation and Xiala Formation,present in the Shiquanhe area of Gar County in the western part of Gangdise,Tibet,belong to the Gangdise stratigraphic subregion. Conodonts have been found in the Angjie Formation,and they permit an age determination of Early to Middle Permian for that formation. The age of the Xiala Formation could be late Middle Permian. Whether the Late Permian marine deposits are present in this area still needs to be determined,but it is possible that the lower part of the Xiala Formation overlaps partly the upper part of the Angjie Formation. More importantly,the study has brought about a finding of typical peri-Gondwana cool water facies conodonts,namely,Vjalovognathus sp. nov. x. This is the first report and brief description of a conodont fauna from peri-Gondowana cool water facies in China. | 7 | The First Discovery of the Earliest Devonian Conodont Zonal Fossil from the 'Gavuu Member' in Mushgai Area of South Gobi,Mongolia显示文摘Conodont Caudicriodus woschimidti woschmidti has been found from a big outcrop (hill) of the Bayan-Kho-shuu Ruins Section which was previously assigned to the Silurian Gavuu Member of the Mandalovoo Formation. This is first time to find the lowermost Devonian conodont zonal fossil in Mongolia. The lower part of the Gavuu Member is Sil-urian. But the strata from where we collected samples M-9~M-12 definitely belong to Lower Devonian (lower Lochko-vian) rather than Lower Silurian. | 10 | Carbon isotopic record from Upper Devonian carbonates at Dongcun in Guilin, southern China, supporting the world- wide pattern of carbon isotope excursions during Frasnian-Famennian transition显示文摘Two positive d 13C excursions are presented in records from the Frasnian-Famennian (F-F) marine carbon-ate sediments in Europe, America, Africa, and Australia, having been considered as a worldwide pattern, and attrib-uted to enhanced organic carbon burial during the F-F biological mass extinction. However, this worldwide pattern has not been revealed from the well-deposited Late Devonian sequences in southern China. In this paper, a detailed inves-tigation has been made on the Late Devonian section at Dongcun, Guilin, southern China to constrain perturbations in d 13C of carbonates in the F-F deposited sequence. The result from this section also indicates two positive d 13C ex-cursions during the F-F transition. The first excursion with an amplitude of 1.5 occurred at the bottom of linguiformis Zone, later than the early excursion existing in the Late rhe-nana Zone of the Late Devonian profiles in other continents, especially, in central Europe. This difference has been ex-pected to be a result as conodont Palmatolepis linguiformis occurred earlier in southern China than other sites. The second excursion with an amplitude of 2.1 is located at the F-F boundary, same as the records from other continents.
