1FEM Analysis of Spring-backs in Age Forming of Aluminum Alloy Plates显示文摘The age forming technology, characterized by huge spring-backs, has been developed to manufacture large integral wing-skin panel parts, which necessitates devising a method of predicting spring-backs. A 7B04-T7451 aluminum alloy creep test in tension is accomplished at 155 °C, and the creep curves are obtained. The material constants of the mechanism-based creep constitutive equations are determined through experiments. The age forming process and the spring-backs of 7B04 aluminum alloy plates are analyzed using the commercial finite element software ABAQUS. The effects of plate thickness and forming time on spring-backs are researched. The spring-backs decrease with the increase of plate thickness and forming time. 4Ampullary neuroendocrine tumor diagnosed by endoscopic papillectomy in previously confirmed ampullary adenoma显示文摘Ampullary adenoma is a common indication for endoscopic papillectomy. Ampullary neuroendocrine tumor(NET) is a rare disease for which complete surgical resection is the treatment of choice. However, because of the morbidity and mortality associated with surgical resection, endoscopic papillectomy is increasingly used in selected cases of low grade, with no metastasis and no invasion of the pancreatic or bile duct. Also, confirmed and complete endoscopic resection of ampullary NET accompanied by adenoma has not been reported to date. We report herein a rare case of an ampullary NET accompanied with adenoma, which was successfully and completely resected via endoscopic papillectomy. 10Pollution levels and characteristics of phthalate esters in indoor air in hospitals显示文摘The concentrations of phthalate esters(PAEs) in Chinese hospitals were investigated by simultaneously determining concentrations of gas- and particle-phase PAEs. PAEs were detected in two third-class first-grade hospitals, two second-class first-grade hospitals, and a community health service center. Hospital drugstores had the highest concentration(24.19 μg/m3), which was 1.54 times that of newly decorated houses. The second highest concentration was found in the transfusion rooms, averaging 21.89 μg/m3; this was followed by the concentrations of PAEs in the nurse's workstations, the wards, and the doctor's offices, with mean concentrations of 20.66, 20.0, and 16.92 μg/m3, respectively. The lowest concentrations were found in the hallways(16.30 μg/m3). Of the six different kinds of PAEs found, major pollutants included diethyl phthalates, dibutyl phthalates, butylbenzyl phthalates and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalates, comprising more than 80% of all PAEs present.Meanwhile, a comparison between different wards showed that PAE concentrations in the maternity wards were 1.63 times higher than in the main wards. Based on known health hazards, our results suggest that the PAEs seriously influence the health of the pregnant women and babies; therefore, it is of great importance to take the phthalate concentrations in hospitals into consideration. 11Pollution levels and characteristics of phthalate esters in indoor air of offices显示文摘The pollution status and characteristics of PAEs(phthalate esters) were investigated in indoor air of offices, and PAEs of both gas-phase and particulate-phase were detected in all the samples. The concentration(sum of the gas phase and the particulate phase) was4748.24 ng/m3, ranging between 3070.09 and 6700.14 ng/m3. Diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate were the most abundant compounds, together accounting for 70% of the ∑ 6PAEs. Dividing the particulate-phase PAEs into four size ranges(< 2.5, 2.5–5, 5–10, > 10 μm), the result indicated that PAEs in PM2.5were the most abundant,with the proportion of 72.64%. In addition, the PAE concentration in PM2.5correlated significantly with the total particulate-phase PAEs(R2= 0.85). Thus, the amount of PAEs in PM2.5can be estimated from the total amount of particulate-phase PAEs using this proportion. In a comparison between the offices and a newly decorated study room, it was found that pollution characteristics were similar between these two places. 12Activatingα7nAChR ameliorates abdominal aortic aneurysm through inhibiting pyroptosis mediated by NLRP3 inflammasome显示文摘Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)is defined as a dilated aorta in diameter at least 1.5 times of a normal aorta.Our previous studies found that activatingα7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor(α7nAChR)had a protective effect on vascular injury.This work was to investigate whether activatingα7nAChR could influence AAA formation and explore its mechanisms.AAA models were established by angiotensin II(Ang II)infusion in ApoE^(-/-)mice or in wild type andα7nAChR^(-/-)mice.In vitro mouse aortic smooth muscle(MOVAS)cells were treated with tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).PNU-282987 was chosen to activateα7nAChR.We found that cell pyroptosis effector GSDMD and NLRP3 inflammasome were activated in abdominal aorta,and inflammatory cytokines in serum were elevated in AAA models of ApoE^(-/-)mice.Activatingα7nAChR reduced maximal aortic diameters,preserved elastin integrity and decreased inflammatory responses in ApoE^(-/-)mice with Ang II infusion.Whileα7nAChR^(-/-)mice led to aggravated aortic injury and increased inflammatory cytokines with Ang II infusion when compared with wild type.Moreover,activatingα7nAChR inhibited NLRP3/caspase-1/GSDMD pathway in AAA model of ApoE^(-/-)mice,whileα7nAChR deficiency promoted this pathway.In vitro,N-acetylcysteine(NAC)inhibited NLRP3 inflammasome activation and NLRP3 knockdown reduced GSDMD expression,in MOVAS cells treated with TNF-α.Furthermore,activatingα7nAChR inhibited oxidative stress,reduced NLRP3/GSDMD expression,and decreased cell pyroptosis in MOVAS cells with TNF-α.In conclusion,our study found that activatingα7nAChR retarded AAA through inhibiting pyroptosis mediated by NLRP3 inflammasome.These suggested thatα7nAChR would be a potential pharmacological target for AAA.Hui Fu Qi-rui Shen Yi Zhao Min Ni Can-can Zhou Ji-kuai Chen Chen Chi Dong-jie Li Guang Liang Fu-ming Shen 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,10:3
13Investigation of cell mechanics using single-beam acoustic tweezers as a versatile tool for the diagnosis and treatment of highly invasive breast cancer cell lines: an in vitro study显示文摘Advancements in diagnostic systems for metastatic cancer over the last few decades have played a significant role in providing patients with effective treatment by evaluating the characteristics of cancer cells.Despite the progress made in cancer prognosis,we still rely on the visual analysis of tissues or cells from histopathologists,where the subjectivity of traditional manual interpretation persists.This paper presents the development of a dual diagnosis and treatment tool using an in vitro acoustic tweezers platform with a 50MHz ultrasonic transducer for label-free trapping and bursting of human breast cancer cells.For cancer cell detection and classification,the mechanical properties of a single cancer cell were quantified by single-beam acoustic tweezers(SBAT),a noncontact assessment tool using a focused acoustic beam.Cell-mimicking phantoms and agarose hydrogel spheres(AHSs)served to standardize the biomechanical characteristics of the cells.Based on the analytical comparison of deformability levels between the cells and the AHSs,the mechanical properties of the cells could be indirectly measured by interpolating the Young’s moduli of the AHSs.As a result,the calculated Young’s moduli,i.e.,1.527kPa for MDA-MB-231(highly invasive breast cancer cells),2.650kPa for MCF-7(weakly invasive breast cancer cells),and 2.772 kPa for SKBR-3(weakly invasive breast cancer cells),indicate that highly invasive cancer cells exhibited a lower Young’s moduli than weakly invasive cells,which indicates a higher deformability of highly invasive cancer cells,leading to a higher metastasis rate.Single-cell treatment may also be carried out by bursting a highly invasive cell with high-intensity,focused ultrasound.Hae Gyun Lim Hsiao-Chuan Liu Chi Woo Yoon Hayong Jung Min Gon Kim Changhan Yoon Hyung Ham Kim KKirk Shung 2020Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1:3

16Efficacy of texture analysis of pre-operative magnetic resonance imaging in predicting microvascular invasion in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND Presence of microvascular invasion(MVI)indicates poorer prognosis postcurative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),with an increased chance of tumour recurrence.By present standards,MVI can only be diagnosed postoperatively on histopathology.Texture analysis potentially allows identification of patients who are considered‘high risk’through analysis of pre-operative magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)studies.This will allow for better patient selection,improved individualised therapy(such as extended surgical margins or adjuvant therapy)and pre-operative prognostication.AIM This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of texture analysis on pre-operative MRI in predicting MVI in HCC.METHODS Retrospective review of patients with new cases of HCC who underwent hepatectomy between 2007 and 2015 was performed.Exclusion criteria:No preoperative MRI,significant movement artefacts,loss-to-follow-up,ruptured HCCs,previous hepatectomy and adjuvant therapy.Fifty patients were divided into MVI(n=15)and non-MVI(n=35)groups based on tumour histology.Selected images of the tumour on post-contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MRI were analysed.Both qualitative(performed by radiologists)and quantitative data(performed by software)were obtained.Radiomics texture parameters were extracted based on the largest cross-sectional area of each tumor and analysed using MaZda software.Five separate methods were performed.Methods 1,2 and 3 exclusively made use of features derived from arterial,portovenous and equilibrium phases respectively.Methods 4 and 5 made use of the comparatively significant features to attain optimal performance.RESULTS Method 5 achieved the highest accuracy of 87.8%with sensitivity of 73%and specificity of 94%.CONCLUSION Texture analysis of tumours on pre-operative MRI can predict presence of MVI in HCC with accuracies of up to 87.8%and can potentially impact clinical management.Jordan Zheng Ting Sim Terrence Chi Hong Hui Tong Kuan Chuah Hsien Min Low Cher Heng Tan Vishal GShelat 2022World Journal of Clinical Oncology2022,13,11:3
17Semi-enclosed experimental system for coal spontaneous combustion for determining regional distribution of high-temperature zone of coal fire显示文摘Temperature variation and gas generation at diferent depths and positions in the coal combustion process were studied to determine the propagation and evolution of high temperature regions in the process of coal spontaneous combustion.This study selected coal samples from Mengcun,Shaanxi Province,People’s Republic of China,and developed a semi-enclosed experimental system(furnace)for simulating coal combustion.The thermal mass loss of coal samples under various heating rates(5,10,and 15℃/min)was analyzed through thermogravimetric analysis,and the dynamic characteristics of the coal samples were analyzed;the reliability of the semi-enclosed experimental system was verifed through the equal proportional method of fuzzy response.The results reveal that the high-temperature zone is distributed nonlinearly from the middle to the front end of the furnace,and the temperatures of points in this zone decreased gradually as the layer depth increased.The apparent activation energy of the coal samples during combustion frst increased and then decreased as the conversion degree increased.Furthermore,the proportion of mass loss and the mass loss rate in the coal samples observed in the thermogravimetric experiment is consistent with that observed in the frst and second stages of the experiment conducted using the semi-enclosed system.The research fndings can provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of hightemperature zones in coal combustion.Jingyu Zhao Hanqi Ming Tao Guo Yuxuan Zhang Jun Deng Jiajia Song Qiang Zeng Chi‑Min Shu 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,5:3

19Tectonically-controlled Evolution of the Late Cenozoic Nihewan Basin, North China Craton: Constraints from Stratigraphy, Mineralogy, and Geochemistry显示文摘The Late Cenozoic basins in the Weihe–Shanxi Graben, North China Craton are delineated by northeast-striking faults. The faults have, since a long time, been related to the progressive uplift and northeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau. To show the relation between the basins and faults, two Pliocene–Pleistocene stratigraphic sections(Chengqiang and Hongyanangou) in the southern part of the Nihewan Basin at the northernmost parts of the graben are studied herein. Based on the sedimentary sequences and facies, the sections are divided into three evolutionary stages, such as alluvial fan-eolian red clay, fan delta, and fluvial, with boundaries at ~2.8 and ~1.8 Ma. Paleocurrent indicators, the composition of coarse clastics, heavy minerals, and the geochemistry of moderate–fine clastics are used to establish the temporal and spatial variations in the source areas. Based on features from the middlenorthern basin, we infer that the Nihewan Basin comprises an old NE–SW elongate geotectogene and a young NW–SE elongate subgeotectogene. The main geotectogene in the mid-north is a half-graben bounded by northeast-striking and northwest-dipping normal faults(e.g., Liulengshan Fault). This group of faults was mainly affected by the Pliocene(before ~2.8–2.6 Ma) NW–SE extension and controlled the deposition of sediments. In contrast, the subgeotectogene in the south was affected by northwest-striking normal faults(e.g., Huliuhe Fault) that were controlled by the subsequent weak NE–SW extension in the Pleistocene. The remarkable change in the sedimentary facies and provenance since ~1.8 Ma is possibly a signal of either weak or strong NE–SW extension. 20Clustering of Non-communicable Diseases Risk Factors in Healthy Adults Aged 35 Years and Older in Shenzhen,China显示文摘We assessed the prevalence of non‐ communicable diseases(NCDs) risk factors with a focus on their clustering among healthy adults in Shenzhen, China. Data from the 2011 China Health and Nutrition Survey, comprising a regionally representative sample of 806 healthy adults aged 35 years or older, were obtained to determine the prevalence of five risk factors for NCDs. The prevalence of current smoking, central obesity, impaired fasting glucose, borderline hypertension, and borderline high total cholesterol was 19.97%, 28.29%, 4.47%, 10.55%, and 36.10%, respectively. A total 63.77% of participants had at least one risk factor. Upon examination of risk factor clustering, we observed that 7.57% of participants had at least three risk factors. Using this threshold as a cutoff, clustering of risk factors was associated with sex [odds ratio(OR) = 3.336, 95% confidence interval(CI): 1.782 to 6.246], physical activity(OR = 1.913, 95% CI: 1.009 to 3.628), and BMI(OR = 7.376, 95% CI: 3.812 to 14.270).
