| 1 | The age of the base of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton: SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of basaltic andesite显示文摘Basalt and basaltic andesite metamorphosed at greenschist facies occurs with conglomerate layers at the bottom of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton. Detailed geological surveying confirms that these volcanic rocks are conformable within the neighboring sedimentary rocks. The SHRIMP results on basaltic andesite are divided into two groups. In one group the 207Pb/206Pb ages are from 2433 to 2558 Ma, which is consistent with the basement crustal age in Fuping and Wutai areas. In the other group, 13 grains yielded a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 2140±14 Ma. The latter is interpreted as the eruption age of the basaltic andesite, and gives the age of the base of the Hutuo Group. | 4 | Provenance of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group basal conglomerates and Neoarchean crustal growth in the Wutai Mountains,North China Craton:Evidence from granite and quartzite pebble zircon U-Pb ages and Hf isotopes显示文摘Zircon U-Pb ages(SHRIMP and LA-ICPMS) and Lu-Hf isotope data(LA-ICPMS) are presented for two granite and two quartzite pebbles from the basal conglomerates of the Sijizhuang Formation in the Hutuo Group from the Wutai Mountains area in the North China Craton.These two granite pebbles give zircon 207 Pb/206 Pb ages of 2513±8 Ma and 2527±8 Ma respectively,which are consistent with the emplacement ages of the Wangjiahui grey granite and Guangmingsi or Shifo granite in the Wutai Mountains.Detrital zircons from those two quartzite pebbles are mostly 2550-2490 Ma old with lesser number of 2800-2550 Ma grains,which is similar to the ages of detrital zircons from quartzites in the Gaofan Subgroup of the Neoarchean Wutai Group.Thus,the pebbles in the Hutuo Group basal conglomerates were derived locally from Wutai Mountains Neoarchean sources.Zircons from the Sijizhuang Formation conglomerate granite and quartzite pebbles mostly have positive ε Hf(t) values,a minority with ε Hf(t) values like model depleted mantle(DM) of the same age,but with most showing DM model ages 200-100 Ma.This indicates that most of the source materials were derived from the mantle within the previous 200 million years,whereas some are derived from 2550-2510 Ma juvenile crustal additions.This additional evidence suggests that in the North China Craton there was important initial polycyclic crustal formation and cratonization in the late Neoarchaean,prior to superimposed Palaeoproterozoic orogenic cycles. | DU LiLin YANG ChongHui WANG Wei REN LiuDong WAN YuSheng SONG HuiXia GAO LinZhi GENG YuanSheng HOU KeJun | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012，55，11： | 8 |

| 6 | Standard pancreatoduodenectomy versus extended pancreatoduodenectomy with modified retroperitoneal nerve resection in patients with pancreatic head cancer:a multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:The extent of pancreatoduodenectomy for pancreatic head cancer remains controversial,and more high-level clinical evidence is needed.This study aimed to evaluate the outcome of extended pancreatoduodenectomy(EPD)with retroperitoneal nerve resection in pancreatic head cancer.Methods:This multicenter randomized trial was performed at 6 Chinese highvolume hospitals that enrolled patients between October 3,2012,and September 21,2017.Four hundred patients with stage I or II pancreatic head cancer and without specific pancreatic cancer treatments(preoperative chemotherapy or chemoradiation)within three months were randomly assigned to undergo standard pancreatoduodenectomy(SPD)or EPD,with the latter followed by dissection of additional lymph nodes(LNs),nerves and soft tissues 270◦on the right side surrounding the superior mesenteric artery and celiac axis.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)by intention-to-treat(ITT).The secondary endpoints were disease-free survival(DFS),mortality,morbidity,and postoperative pain intensity.Results:TheR1 ratewas slightly lower with EPD(8.46%)thanwith SPD(12.56%).The morbidity and mortality rates were similar between the two groups.The median OS was similar in the EPD and SPD groups by ITT in the whole study cohort(23.0 vs.20.2 months,P=0.100),while the median DFS was superior in the EPD group(16.1 vs.13.2 months,P=0.031).Patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL had significantly improved OS and DFS with EPD(EPD vs.SPD,30.8 vs.20.9 months,P=0.009;23.4 vs.13.5 months,P<0.001).The EPD group exhibited significantly lower locoregional(16.48%vs.35.20%,P<0.001)andmesenteric LNrecurrence rates(3.98%vs.10.06%,P=0.022).The EPD group exhibited less back pain 6 months postoperation than the SPD group.Conclusions:EPD for pancreatic head cancer did not significantly improve OS,but patients with EPD treatment had significantly improved DFS.In the subgroup analysis,improvements in bothOS and DFS in the EPD armwere observed in patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.EPD could be used as an effective surgical procedure for patients with pancreatic head cancer,especially those with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL. | Qing Lin Shangyou Zheng Xianjun Yu Meifu Chen Yu Zhou Quanbo Zhou Chonghui Hu Jing Gu Zhongdong Xu LinWang Yimin Liu Qingyu Liu MinWang Guolin Li He Cheng Dongkai Zhou Guodong Liu Zhiqiang Fu Yu Long Yixiong Li Weilin Wang Renyi Qin Zhihua Li Rufu Chen | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023，43，2： | 3 |
| 7 | Host HDAC4 regulates the antiviral response by inhibiting the phosphorylation of IRF3显示文摘Class II HDACs, such as HDAC4, are critical regulators of the immune response in various immune cells;however, its role in innate immunity remains largely unknown.Here, we report that the overexpression of HDAC4 suppresses the production of type I interferons triggered by pattern-recognition receptors (PRRs). HDAC4 repressed the translocation of transcription factor IRF3 to the nucleus, thereby decreasing IRF3-mediated IFN-β expression. In particular, we also determined that HDAC4 can be phosphorylated and simultaneously block the phosphorylation of IRF3 at Ser386 and Ser396 by TBK1 and IKKε, respectively, by interacting with the kinase domain of TBK1 and IKKε. Furthermore, IFN-β may stimulate the expression of HDAC4. | 8 | Histone Deacetylase 3 Inhibitor Suppresses Hepatitis C Virus Replication by Regulating Apo-A1 and LEAP-1 Expression显示文摘Histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors show clinical promise for the treatment of cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In this study, we investigated the effect of HDAC inhibitor treatment on hepatitis C virus (HCV)replication in Huh7 human liver cells and in a mouse model of HCV infection. Viral replication was markedly suppressed by the HDAC3 inhibitor at concentrations below 1 mmol/L, with no cellular toxicity. This was accompanied by upregulation of liver-expressed antimicrobial peptide 1 (LEAP-1) and downregulation of apolipoprotein-A1 (Apo-A1), as determined by microarray and quantitative RT-PCR analyses. Moreover, HDAC3 was found to modulate the binding of CCAAT-enhancer-binding protein a (C/EBPa), hypoxia-inducible factor 1 a (HIF1 a), and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) to the LEAP-1 promoter. HDAC3 inhibitor treatment also blocked HCV replication in a mouse model of HCV infection.
