1A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. 2China's flourishing synthetic organofluorine chemistry:innovations in the new millennium显示文摘The new millennium has witnessed the rapid development of synthetic organofluorine chemistry all over the world, and chemists in China have made significant contributions in this field. This review aims to provide a brief introduction to China's primary innovations from 2000 to early 2017, covering fluorination,fluoroalkylation, fluoromethylthiolation, fluoroolefination and polyfluoroarylation, as well as synthesis with fluorinated building blocks. Recent advances in the chemistry of difluorocarbene and the chemistry of carbon–fluorine bond activation are also discussed. 4Seasonal variations in the composition and functional profiles of gut microbiota reflect dietary changes in plateau pikas显示文摘Seasonal variations in gut microbiota of small mammals and how they are influenced by environmental variables are relatively poorly understood.We sampled 162 wild plateau pikas(Ochotona curzoniae)in 4 seasons over 2 and a half years and recorded the air temperature,precipitation,and nutrient content in edible vegetation at the sampling site.After conducting 16S rRNA and shotgun metagenomic sequencing,we found that the highest alpha diversity,the relative abundance of Firmicutes,and the simplest co-occurrence network occurred in winter,whereas the highest relative abundance of Proteobacteria and the most complex network structure were observed in spring.The highest relative abundance of Verrucomicrobiota and Spirochaetota was seen in summer and autumn,respectively.Air temperature,precipitation,and the contents of crude protein,crude fiber,and polysaccharide in vegetation had significant effects on the seasonal changes in gut microbiota.Diet contributed more to microbial variation than climatic factors.Metagenomic analysis revealed that the amino acid metabolism pathway and axillary activity enzymes were most abundant in summer,while abundance of carbohydrate-binding modules and carbohydrate esterases was highest in spring.These microbial variations were related to the changes in dietary nutrition,indicating that gut microbiota of plateau pika contribute to the efficient use of food resources.This study provides new evidence of how external environmental factors affect the intestinal environment of small mammals.Chao FAN Liangzhi ZHANG Shangang JIA Xianjiang TANG Haibo FU Wenjing LI Chuanfa LIU He ZHANG Qi CHENG Yanming ZHANG 2022Integrative Zoology2022,17,3:0

6Oxygen-vacancy-containing cerium oxide nanoparticle-decorated nanonetwork-structured carbon toward high-performance lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have been regarded as promising next-generation energy-storage devices owing to their inherently high theoretical energy density.Unfortunately,the poor capacity and cycling life caused by severe polysulfide shuttle effect and sluggish redox kinetics in sulfur cathodes greatly impede the practical application of Li-S batteries.Herein,a new class of nanonetworkstructured carbon decorated with oxygen-vacancy-containing cerium oxide nanoparticles(NSC-CeO_(2−x)),in which carbon skeleton is composed of highly conductive carbon nanotube core welded by hybrid carbon shell,has been developed via one-step heating treatment of hybrid molecular brush and further employed as functional interlayer to modify separator of Li-S battery.Owing to the synergistic effect of the highly active CeO_(2−x)nanoparticles and the threedimensional carbon nanonetwork in enhancing the preservation of the soluble polysulfides and boosting the redox kinetics of sulfur species,the NSC-CeO_(2−x)significantly promotes the electrochemical performance of sulfur cathode.As a result,the as-constructed Li-S batteries exhibit an ultrahigh initial sulfur utilization of 92.9%and an extremely large capacity of 751mA h g^(−1) at a high rate of 5 C.Remarkably,a stable capacity of 728 mA h g^(−1)over 300 cycles at 1 C is also achieved.Chuanfa Li Pengwei Ma Shenghao Lin Zongheng Cen Junlong Huang Yin Cui Shimei Li Shaohong Liu Ruowen Fu Dingcai Wu 2023SusMat2023,3,1:0
7Correction of global digital elevation models in forested areas using an artificial neural network-based method with the consideration of spatial autocorrelation显示文摘To remove vegetation bias(VB)from the global DEMs(GDEMs),an artificial neural network(ANN)-based method with the consideration of elevation spatial autocorrelation is developed in this paper.Three study sites with different forest types(evergreen,mixed evergreen-deciduous,and deciduous)are employed to evaluate the performance of the proposed model on three popular 30-m GDEMs,including SRTM1,AW3D30,and COPDEM30.Taking LiDAR DTM as the ground truth,the accuracy of the GDEMs before and after VB correction is assessed,as well as two existing GDEMs including MERIT and FABDEM.Results show that all the original GDEMs significantly overestimate the LiDAR DTM in the three forest types,with the largest biases of 21.5 m for SRTM1,26.3 m for AW3D30,and 27.18 m for COPDEM30.Taking data randomly sampled from the corrected area as the training points,the proposed model reduces the mean errors(root mean square errors)of the three GDEMs by 98.8%-99.9%(55.1%-75.8%)in the three forests.When training data have the same forest type as the corrected GDEM but under different local situations,the proposed model lowers the GDEM errors by at least 76.9%(44.1%).Furthermore,our corrected GDEMs consistently outperform the existing GDEMs for the two cases.Yanyan Li Linye Li Chuanfa Chen Yan Liu 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
8Difluoromethyl 2-Pyridyl Sulfoximine:A Stereoselective Nucleophilic Reagent for Difluoro(aminosulfinyl)methylation and Difluoro(aminosulfonyl)methylation显示文摘1,1-Difluorinated sulfonamides are known to have better anti-inflammatory activity and enzyme inhibitory potency than their nonfluorinated counterparts.Two geminal fluorine atoms cause electronic perturbation of the nearby polar groups enhanced the biological activity of the 1,1-difluorinated sulfonamides.However,because methods for their stereoselective synthesis are scarce,such entities remain entirely unexplored.Here,we outline an efficient method for the stereoselective introduction of the difluoro(aminosulfonyl)methyl group(CF_(2)SO_(2)NH_(2))into carbonyls,imines,and alkyl halides with a new(R)-2-pyridyl difluoromethyl sulfoximine reagent,which provides a unique solution for the synthesis of chiralα,α-difluorinated sulfonamides with a quaternary stereocenter.Its potency is illustrated by the synthesis of fluorinated analogues of bioactive compounds such as 2-OH-SA,an antagonist for the GABA_(B)receptor in guinea pig ileum,and the late-stage modification of complex molecules such as haloperidol,ebastine,cholesterol,and(+)-δ-tocopherol derivatives.Stereoselective difluoro(aminosulfinyl)methylation to yield chiral sulfinylamides is presented,showcasing other uses of this new reagent.Qinghe Liu Chuanfa Ni Qian Wang Depei Meng Jinbo Hu 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,11:0
