12D DEM simulation of particle mixing in rotating drum: A parametric study显示文摘Mixing behaviors of equal-sized glass beads in a rotating drum were investigated by both DEM simulations and experiments. The experiments indicated that higher rotation speed can significantly enhance mixing. The particle profiles predicted by 2D DEM simulation were compared with the experimental results from a quasi-2D drum, showing inconsistency due to reduction of contacts in the single-layer 2D simulation which makes the driving friction weaker than that in the quasi-2D test, better results could be reached by specifying a higher frictional coefficient between the particles and the cylinder wall. In order to explore the influences of physical properties (density, size or friction) on mixing behavior, numerical 2D simulations were carried out systematically, in which one examined specific property being examined was exaggerated while the others were kept the same as that in the control group. The DEM simulations reveal that particle density and size are the dominating factors affecting mixing behaviors, while the effect of frictional coefficient is less significant. 2The HuangZaoSi Maize Genome Provides Insights into Genomic Variation and Improvement History of Maize显示文摘Maize is a globally important crop that was a classic model plant for genetic studies. Here, we report a 2.2 Gb draft genome sequence of an elite maize line, HuangZaoSi (HZS). Hybrids bred from HZS-improved lines (HILs) are planted in more than 60% of maize fields in China. Proteome clustering of six completed sequeneed maize genomes show that 638 proteins fall into 264 HZS-specific gene families with the majority of contributions from tandem duplication events. Resequencing and comparative analysis of 40 HZSrelated lines reveals the breeding history of HILs. More than 60% of identified selective sweeps were clustered in identity.by.descent conserved regions, and yield-related genes/QTLs were enriched in HZS characteristic selected regions. Furthermore, we dem on strated that HZS-specific family genes were not uniformly distributed in the genome but enriched in improvement/function.related genomic regions. 4Formation control and collision avoidance for multi-UAV systems based on Voronoi partition显示文摘This paper deals with the formation control problem of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) with collision avoidance. A distributed formation control and collision avoidance method is proposed based on Voronoi partition and conventional artificial potential field. The collision avoidance is achieved by partitioning the whole space into non-overlapping regions based on Voronoi partition theory, which is taken as the task region to confine the movement of each UAV. The general motion control law is designed based on the conventional artificial potential field. As this often leads to local optimum when two UAVs are going to collide with each other and they may stay still where the repulsive force is adversely equivalent to the attractive force. To address this problem,the destination switch scheme is further proposed to let UAVs switch destinations when they reach the local equilibrium. 5Preparation of Clay/Biochar Composite Adsorption Particle and Performance for Ammonia Nitrogen Removal from Aqueous Solution显示文摘This study aimed to present a novel clay/biochar composite adsorption particle, which made from abandoned reed straw and clay to remove ammonia nitrogen(NH4^+-N) from micro-contaminated water. The removal performance of NH4^+-N by composite adsorption particle was monitored under different raw material proportions and initial NH4^+-N concentration. Besides, adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms were investigated to reveal the adsorption mechanisms. The results showed that NH4^+-N was effectively removed under optimal proportion of biochar, foaming agent and crosslinker with 20%, 3%, and 3%, respectively. The optimal contact time was 150 min and the best removal efficiency was 88.6% at initial NH4^+-N concentration of 20 mg L^-1. The adsorption performance was well described by the second order kinetic model and Freundlich model. 7Sedimentary Conditions of Evaporites in the Late Jurassic Xiali Formation,Qiangtang Basin:Evidence from Geochemistry Records显示文摘The Qiangtang Basin(QB), located in the central Tibetan Plateau, is a Jurassic marine basin and one of the most important prospective salt resource belts in China. In recent decades, many outcrops of gypsiferous bed have been found in the Jurassic marine strata in the basin. Salt springs with abnormally high sodium(Na^+) contents had been identified in the Late Jurassic Xiali Formation(Fm.) in the basin in the last years. However, to date, no potash or halite deposits have been identified in the QB. Gypsum outcrops and salt springs are very important signs in the investigation of halite and potash deposits. Therefore, the Xiali Fm. is a potentially valuable layer to evaluate for the possible presence of halite and potash deposits in the basin. However, few studies have explored the formation conditions of evaporites in the unit. Here, we present detailed geochemical records from the Yanshiping section related to the study of the formation conditions of evaporites in the Xiali Fm. of the QB. Climate proxies based on the obviously increased anion concentrations of SO_4(2-) and Cl^- and the significant correlation coefficients of Ca2+-SO42-(R = 0.985) and Na^+-Cl^-(R = 0.8974) reveal that the upper member of the Xiali Fm.(the upper Xiali Fm.) formed under an arid climate and evolved into the sulfate phase or early chloride phase. Provenance proxies based on the obviously increased K^+ and Na^+ ion concentrations and the significant correlation coefficient of Na^+-Cl^-(R = 0.8974) suggest that the upper Xiali Fm. featured optimal provenance conditions for the possible formation of halite deposits. The regression and the semi-closed tidal flat environment in the upper Xiali Fm. were favorable for the formation of potash and halite deposits. The low Mg^(2+) /Ca^(2+) values(mean value = 1.82) and significant Na^+-Cl^- correlation coefficient(R = 0.8974) also suggest that the upper Xiali Fm. is the layer most likely to contain potential halite deposits. In addition, the macroscopic correlations of tectonism, provenance, paleoclimate, saliferous strata and sedimentary environment between the QB and the adjoining Amu Darya Basin in Central Asia reveal that the two basins shared similar geologic settings that were favorable for the formation of evaporites during the Late Jurassic. 8Research on fractal characteristics of primary phase morphology in semi-solid A356 alloy显示文摘Semi-solid slurry of A356 alloy was prepared by low superheat pouring and slightly electromagnetic stirring,and the fractal characteristics of morphology in semi-solid primary phase was researched.The fractal dimensions of primary phase morphology in the semi-solid A356 alloy were calculated by the program written to calculate the fractal dimensions of box-counting in the image of solid phase morphology in semi-solid metal slurry.The results indicated that the morphology of primary phase in semi-solid A356 prepared by low superheat pouring and slightly electromagnetic stirring is characterized by fractal dimension,and the primary phase morphology obtained by the different processing parameters has different fractal dimensions.The morphology of primary phase at the different position of ingot has different fractal dimensions,which reflected the effect of solidified conditions at different positions in the same ingot on the morphology of semi-solid primary phase.Solidification of semi-solid alloy is a course of change in fractal dimension.Zheng LIU Xiaomei LIU Chunhui HU Weimin MAO 2009Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2009,22,6:4

12Autonomous maneuver strategy of swarm air combat based on DDPG显示文摘Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been found significantly important in the air combats,where intelligent and swarms of UAVs will be able to tackle with the tasks of high complexity and dynamics.The key to empower the UAVs with such capability is the autonomous maneuver decision making.In this paper,an autonomous maneuver strategy of UAV swarms in beyond visual range air combat based on reinforcement learning is proposed.First,based on the process of air combat and the constraints of the swarm,the motion model of UAV and the multi-to-one air combat model are established.Second,a two-stage maneuver strategy based on air combat principles is designed which include inter-vehicle collaboration and target-vehicle confrontation.Then,a swarm air combat algorithm based on deep deterministic policy gradient strategy(DDPG)is proposed for online strategy training.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is validated by multi-scene simulations.The results show that the algorithm is suitable for UAV swarms of different scales.Luhe Wang Jinwen Hu Zhao Xu Chunhui Zhao 2021Autonomous Intelligent Systems2021,1,1:3

14Ionizable lipid-assisted efficient hepatic delivery of gene editing elements for oncotherapy显示文摘CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing has emerged as a powerful biotechnological tool,that relies on Cas9 protein and single guided RNA(sgRNA)to edit target DNA.However,the lack of safe and efficient delivery carrier is one of the crucial factors restricting its clinical transformation.Here,we report an ionizable lipid nanoparticle(iLP181,pKa=6.43)based on iLY1809 lipid enabling robust gene editing in vitro and in vivo.The iLP181 effectively encapsulate psgPLK1,the best-performing plasmid expressing for both Cas9 protein and sgRNA targeting Polo-like kinase 1(PLK1).The iLP181/psgPLK1 nanoformulation showed uniformity in size,regular nanostructure and nearly neutral zeta potential at pH 7.4.The nanoformulation effectively triggered editing of PLK1 gene with more than 30%efficiency in HepG2-Luc cells.iLP181/psgPLK1 significantly accumulated in the tumor for more than 5 days after a single intravenous injection.In addition,it also achieved excellent tumor growth suppression compared to other nucleic acid modalities such as siRNA,without inducing adverse effects to the main organs including the liver and kidneys.This study not only provides a clinically-applicable lipid nanocarrier for delivering CRISPR/Cas system(even other bioactive molecules),but also constitutes a potential cancer treatment regimen base on DNA editing of oncogenes.Chunhui Li Tongren Yang Yuhua Weng Mengjie Zhang Deyao Zhao Shuai Guo Bo Hu Wanxuan Shao Xiaoxia Wang Abid Hussain Xing-Jie Liang Yuanyu Huang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,3:2
15Multi-Core Virtual Concatenation Scheme Considering Inter-Core Crosstalk in Spatial Division Multiplexing Enabled Elastic Optical Networks显示文摘Spatial division multiplexing enabled elastic optical networks(SDM-EONs) are the potential implementation form of future optical transport networks, because it can curve the physical limitation of achievable transmission capacity in single-mode fiber and single-core fiber. However, spectrum fragmentation issue becomes more serious in SDM-EONs compared with simple elastic optical networks(EONs) with single mode fiber or single core fiber. In this paper, multicore virtual concatenation(MCVC) scheme is first proposed considering inter-core crosstalk to solve the spectrum fragmentation issue in SDM-EONs.
