| 1 | Early Warning of Acute Altitude Sickness by Physiological Variables and Noninvasive Cardiovascular Indicators显示文摘Objective To examine if the variations at sea level would be able to predict subsequent susceptibility to acute altitude sickness in subjects upon a rapid ascent to high altitude.Methods One hundred and six Han nationality male individuals were recruited to this research.Dynamic electrocardiogram,treadmill exercise test,echocardiography,routine blood examination and biochemical analysis were performed when subjects at sea level and entering the plateau respectively.Then multiple regression analysis was performed to construct a multiple linear regression equation using the Lake Louise Score as dependent variable to predict the risk factors at sea level related to acute mountain sickness(AMS).Results Approximately 49.05%of the individuals developed AMS.The tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion(22.0+2.66 vs.23.2+3.19 mm,t=l.998,P=0.048)was significantly lower in the AMS group at sea level,while count of eosinophil[(0.264+0.393)×109/L vs.(0.126+0.084)×109/L,t=-2.040,P—0.045],percentage of diflerences exceeding 50 ms between adjacent normal number of intervals(PNN50,9.66%±5.40%vs.6.98%±5.66%,t=-2.229,P=0.028)and heart rate variability triangle index(57.1+16.1 vs.50.6+12.7,t=-2.271,P=0.025)were significantly higher.After acute exposure to high altitude,C-reactive protein(0.098+0.103 vs.0.062+0.045 g/L,t=-2.132,P=0.037),aspartate aminotransferase(19.7+6.7275.17,3±3.95 U/L,t=-2.231,P=0.028)and creatinine(85.1±12.9 vs.77.7±11.2 mmol/L,t=3.162,P=0.002)were significantly higher in the AMS group,while alkaline phosphatase(71.7+18.2 vs.80.6+20.2 U/L,t=2.389,P=0.019),standard deviation of normal-to-normal RR intervals(126.5+35.9 vs.143.3+36.4 ms,t—2.320,P—0.022),ejection time(276.9+50.8 vs.313.8+48.9 ms,t—3.641,P—0.001)and heart rate variability triangle index(37.1+12.9 vs.41.9+11.1,t=2.O2O,P=0.047)were significantly lower.Using the Lake Louise Score as the dependent variable,prediction equation were established to estimate AMS:Lake Louise Score=3.783+0.281Xeosinophil-0.219Xalkaline phosphatase+O.O32XPNN50.Conclusions We elucidated the differences of pl^siological variables as well as noninvasive cardiovascular indicators for subjects after high altitude exposure compared with those at sea level.We also created an acute high altitude reaction early warning equation based on the physiological variables and noninvasive cardiovascular indicators at sea level. | Zongbin Li Chunwei Liu Jun Guo Yajun Shi Yang Li Jinli Wang Jing Wang Yundai Chen | 2020 | Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,1: | 8 |
| 2 | Recombinant Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 strain expressing porcine rotavirus VP7 induces specific antibodies in BALB/c mice显示文摘The major etiologic agent that causes acute gastroenteritis worldwide in young animals and children is Group A rotavirus.Currently,commercially available vaccines do not often prevent porcine rotavirus(PRV)infection.In this study,we evaluated the efficacy of oral recombinant Lactobacillus vaccine against PRV in a mouse model.Lactobacillus plantarum NC8 was used as the host strain,and bacterial vectors were constructed,because the NC8 isolated has shown the capability to survive gastric transit and to colonize the intestinal tract of humans and other mammals.To explore the immunological mechanisms,lactic acid bacterial vectors were used to express VP7 antigen from PRV.We constructed an L.plantarum strain with surface-displayed VP7,named NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep.The expressed recombinant protein had a molecular weight of~37 kDa.The strain was used to immunize BALB/c mice to evaluate their immunomodulatory characteristics.Mice were orally immunized with recombinant L.plantarum NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep at a dose of 2×10^(9) colony forming units/200μl.The results showed that NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep significantly stimulated the differentiation of dendritic cells(DCs)in Peyer’s patches(PPs)and increased the serum levels of IL-4 and IFN-γ,as measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in mice treated with NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep.Compared to the empty vector group,NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep significantly increased the production of B220^(+) B cells in mesenteric lymph nodes(MLNs)and PPs and also increased the titer levels of the VP7-specific antibodies,including IgG and sIgA.The administration of NC8-pSIP409-pgsA-VP7-DCpep mediated relatively broad cellular responses.This study reveals that clear alternatives exist for PRV control strategies and provides information on PRV infection. | Seria Masole Shonyela Chunwei Shi Wentao Yang Xin Cao Guilian Yang Chunfeng Wang | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6: | 2 |
| 3 | Mode selection and high-quality upconversion lasing from perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates显示文摘In recent years,halide perovskite nanostructures have had great advances and have opened up a bright future for micro/nanolasers.However,upconversion lasing by two-photon excitation with mode selection and high quality factor in one device is still rarely reported.Herein,two lasing modes are demonstrated in the all-inorganic perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates with subwavelength thickness and uniform square shape.The net optical gain is quickly established in less than 1 ps and persists more than 30 ps,revealed by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.The temperature-dependent low-threshold amplified spontaneous emission confirms the net gain for stimulated emission with a high characteristic temperature of 403 K,far surpassing the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 semiconductor gain media.Remarkably,upconversion lasing based on two kinds of microcavity effects,Fabry–Pérot and whispering-gallery modes,from the microplates at room temperature is successfully achieved with a low threshold operating in multi-or single-mode,respectively.Surprisingly,the quality factor(~3551)is among the best values obtained from perovskite micro/nanoplate upconversion lasers without an external cavity.Moreover,the highly stable chromaticity with color drift only less than 0.1 nm also outbalances the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 ones.These superior performances of CsPb2Br5 microplate lasing with a facile solution synthesis procedure will offer a feasible structure to fabricate specific functionalities for high-performance frequency upconversion micro/nanoscale photonic integrated devices. | ZHENGZHENG LIU CHUNWEI WANG ZHIPING HU JUAN DU JIE YANG ZEYU ZHANG TONGCHAO SHI WEIMIN LIU XIAOSHENG TANG AND YUXIN LENG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,9: | 2 |

| 5 | African swine fever virus MGF505-3R inhibits cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βpathway activation by degrading TBK1显示文摘African swine fever virus(ASFV)is an important pathogen causing acute infectious disease in domestic pigs and wild boars that seriously endangers the global swine industry.As ASFV is structurally complex and encodes a large number of functional proteins,no effective vaccine has been developed to date.Thus,dissecting the mechanisms of immune escape induced by ASFV proteins is crucial.A previous study showed that the ASFV-encoded protein is an important factor in host immunity.In this study,we identified a negative regulator,MGF505-3R,that significantly downregulated cGAS/STING-and poly(dG:dC)-mediated IFN-βand interferon stimulation response element(ISRE)reporter activity and suppressed IFNB1 and IFIT2 mRNA levels.In addition,TBK1,IRF3 and IκBαphosphorylation levels were also inhibited.Mechanistically,MGF505-3R interacted with cGAS/TBK1/IRF3 and targeted TBK1 for degradation,thereby disrupting the cGAS-STING-mediated IFN-βsignaling pathway,which appears to be highly correlated with autophagy.Knockdown MGF505-3R expression enhanced IFN-βand IL-1βproduction.Taken together,our study revealed a negative regulatory mechanism involving the MGF505-3R-cGAS-STING axis and provided insights into an evasion strategy employed by ASFV that involves autophagy and innate signaling pathways. | Mingyang Cheng Jiawei Luo Yuetong Duan Yu Yang Chunwei Shi Yu Sun Yiyuan Lu Junhong Wang Xiaoxu Li Jianzhong Wang Nan Wang Wentao Yang Yanlong Jiang Guilian Yang Yan Zeng Chunfeng Wang Xin Cao | 2022 | Animal Diseases2022,2,3: | 1 |
| 6 | Correlation between brazed joint elevated strength,microstructure and brazing processing parameter of Inconel superalloy显示文摘This study investigates the influences of brazing temperature,brazing time and brazing clearance on microstructures and high temperature strength of Inconel superalloy.Bonding is performed in a high vacuum furnace using BNi-2 as filler metal.Brazing temperatures employed in this study are 1080 ℃,1110 ℃ and 1140 ℃.Holding times at the brazing temperature are 5 min,15 min and 45 min.At the same time,the investigated brazing clearances are 30 μm,60 μm and 100 μm.Microstructure of the brazed joints is analyzed by means of metallography,scanning electron microscope (SEM).The high temperature tensile strength and microhardness are evaluated at different brazing parameters.The results show that fracture occurs wholly within the braze metal.Deformation appears to be confined to the braze metal with the base metal,showing very little plastic deformation.Brazing time shows to play the important role in the brazing parameters.The peak of microhardness is at the centerline of braze region.Induction heating has little effect on the base materials. | Chunwei MA Kun SHI Zhishui YU Peiquan XU | 2011 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2011,24,3: | 0 |
| 7 | High yield fabrication of semiconducting thin-film field-effect transistors based on chemically functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes显示文摘Here we report a simple and scalable method to fabricate high performance thin-film field-effect transistors(FETs) with high yield based on chemically functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs) by organic radical initiators.The UV-Vis-NIR spectra,Raman spectra and electrical characterization demonstrated that metallic species in CoMoCat 65 and HiPco SWNTs could be effectively eliminated after reaction with some organic radical initiators.The effects of the substrate properties on the electrical properties of FET devices were investigated,and the results showed that the electrical properties of FET devices fabricated on high hydrophobic substrates were better than those on low hydrophobic substrates.Furthermore,it was found that FET devices based on 1,1'-azobis(cyanocyclohexane)(ACN)-modified CoMoCat 65 SWNTs exhibited more excellent electrical performance with effective mobility of ~11.8 cm2/Vs and on/off ratio of ~2×105 as compared with benzoyl peroxide(BPO)-modified CoMoCat 65 SWNTs and lauoryl peroxideand(LPO)-modified HiPco SWNTs,likely due to the introduction of the electron-withdrawing groups(CN group) on the SWNT surface.This method does not require nontrivial reaction conditions or complicated purification after reaction,therefore promising low-cost production of high-performance devices for macroelectronics. | ZHAO JianWen QIAN Jun SHEN YongQiang WANG XiaoHua SHI AiHua LEE ChunWei | 2011 | Science China Chemistry2011,54,9: | 0 |
| 8 | Intratumoural microbiota:a new frontier in cancer development and therapy显示文摘Human microorganisms,including bacteria,fungi,and viruses,play key roles in several physiological and pathological processes.Some studies discovered that tumour tissues once considered sterile actually host a variety of microorganisms,which have been confirmed to be closely related to oncogenesis.The concept of intratumoural microbiota was subsequently proposed.Microbiota could colonise tumour tissues through mucosal destruction,adjacent tissue migration,and hematogenic invasion and affect the biological behaviour of tumours as an important part of the tumour microenvironment.Mechanistic studies have demonstrated that intratumoural microbiota potentially promote the initiation and progression of tumours by inducing genomic instability and mutations,affecting epigenetic modifications,promoting inflammation response,avoiding immune destruction,regulating metabolism,and activating invasion and metastasis.Since more comprehensive and profound insights about intratumoral microbiota are continuously emerging,new methods for the early diagnosis and prognostic assessment of cancer patients have been under examination.In addition,interventions based on intratumoural microbiota show great potential to open a new chapter in antitumour therapy,especially immunotherapy,although there are some inevitable challenges.Here,we aim to provide an extensive review of the concept,development history,potential sources,heterogeneity,and carcinogenic mechanisms of intratumoural microorganisms,explore the potential role of microorganisms in tumour prognosis,and discuss current antitumour treatment regimens that target intratumoural microorganisms and the research prospects and limitations in this field. | Yaqi Cao Hui Xia Xueyun Tan Chunwei Shi Yanling Ma Daquan Meng Mengmeng Zhou Zhilei Lv Sufei Wang Yang Jin | 2024 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2024,9,2: | 0 |
