| 1 | Association between coexisting intracranial artery and extracranial carotid artery atherosclerotic diseases and ipsilateral cerebral infarction: a Chinese Atherosclerosis Risk Evaluation (CARE- II) study显示文摘Background To evaluate the association between coexisting intracranial and extracranial carotid artery atherosclerotic diseases and ipsilateral acute cerebral infarct(ACI)in symptomatic patients by using magnetic resonance(MR)vessel wall imaging.Methods Symptomatic patients were recruited from a cross-sectional,multicentre study of Chinese Atherosclerosis Risk Evaluation(CARE-II).All patients underwent MR imaging for extracranial carotid arterial wall,intracranial artery and brain.Coexisting intracranial stenosis≥50%and extracranial carotid artery mean wall thickness(MWT)≥1 mm and plaque compositions at the same side were evaluated and the ipsilateral ACI was identified.The association between coexisting atherosclerotic diseases and ACI was evaluated using logistic regression.Results 351 patients were recruited.Patients with ipsilateral ACI had significantly greater prevalence of coexisting intracranial stenosis≥50%and carotid MWT≥1 mm(20.5%vs 4.9%,p<0.001),calcification(15.1%vs 4.4%,p=0.001)and lipid-rich necrotic core(LRNC)(19.2%vs 7.8%,p=0.002)compared with those without.Coexisting intracranial artery stenosis≥50%and carotid MWT≥1 mm(OR 5.043,95%CI 2.378 to 10.694;p<0.001),calcification(OR 3.864,95%CI 1.723 to 8.664;p=0.001)and LRNC(OR 2.803,95%CI 1.455 to 5.401;p=0.002)were significantly associated with ipsilateral ACI.After adjusting for confounding factors,the aforementioned associations remained statistically significant(intracranial stenosis≥50%coexisting with carotid MWT≥1 mm:OR 4.313,95%CI 1.937 to 9.601,p<0.001;calcification:OR 3.606,95%CI 1.513 to 8.593,p=0.004;LRNC:OR 2.358,95%CI 1.166 to 4.769,p=0.017).Conclusions Coexistence of intracranial artery severe stenosis and extracranial carotid artery large burden and intraplaque components of calcification and LRNC are independently associated with ipsilateral ACI.Trial registration number http://gffzz1caf53c915c04334su55uk6cqubwc6f9u.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/.Unique identifier:NCT02017756. | Chunxiu Jiang Jing Zhang Jianbin Zhu Xianlong Wang Zhibo Wen Xihai Zhao Chun Yuan On behalf of CARE-II Investigators | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4: | 11 |

| 6 | Integrated Data Reveal the Flavonoid Biosynthesis Metabolic Pathway in Semen Ziziphi Spinosae Using Transcriptomic and Metabolomic显示文摘The extract from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae(SZS)contains many secondary metabolites(flavonoids,alkaloids,and terpenoids),widely reported for their high medicinal value.In order to know the number and type of flavonoids and the regulating mechanism of flavonoid biosynthesis during the growth and development of SZS,we identified and analyzed the flavonoid metabolites and genes in SZS using metabolomic and transcriptomic.A total of 13,232 differentially expressed genes and 83 flavonoid metabolites were identified at three different growth and development stages(T1,T2,and T3)of SZS.The main flavonoid metabolic components of SZS were catechin,L-epicatechin,(–)-epigallocatechin,(+)-gallocatechin,spinosin and its derivatives.A total of 53 unigenes encoding 15 enzymes were identified as candidate genes involved in flavonoid biosynthesis in SZS.Among,PAL,C4H,4CL,CHS,CHI,FLS,FNS,ANS,ANR,LAR,and UFGT genes were all downregulated in T3 than in T1.The expression levels of these genes influence the accumulation of flavonoids in SZS.Our results should provide valuable information for flavonoid metabolites and candidate genes involved in flavonoid biosynthesis on SZS . | Wei Tian Lingdi Liu Zhongxing Song Zhishu Tang Chunxiu Wen Tao Jiang | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,2: | 0 |
| 7 | Metabolomics Analysis of Metabolites in Forsythia suspense Fruit Using UPLC/ESI-Q TRAP-MS/MS显示文摘Forsythiae Fructus,the fruit of Forsythia suspense is a traditional Chinese hebal medicine that has the antiviral and antioxidant effects in China.Modern analytical chemistry studies showed that the extracts of Forsythiae Fructus contain many bioactive components,such as flavonoids,lignans,phenolic acids,and terpenoids,which can be used to anti-inflammatory and treat toxicity,tonsillitis,ulcers,pharyngitis and acute nephritis.In order to study the types and quantities of metabolites in Forsythiae Fructus,we isolated,identified and analysed metabolites between two varieties of Forsythiae Fructus using UPLC/ESI-Q TRAP-MS/MS.The results showed that a total of 407 metabolites were identified in Forsythiae Fructus using UPLC/ESI-Q TRAP-MS/MS,including 21 terpenoids,68 phenolic acids,63 flavonoids,43 amino acids and derivatives,22 alkaloids,55 lipids,24 lignans and coumarins,31 nucleotides and derivatives,29 organic acids,and 51 other metabolites.Among,lignans and coumarins,terpenoids,organic acids,lipids,and phenolic acids were rich in Forsythiae Fructus,which accounted for more than 60%of the total metabolite content.Differential metabolite analysis revealed that 80 metabolites differed significantly between the two types of Forsythiae Fructus.Our results greatly enrich the Forsythiae Fructus phytochemical composition database and provide valuable information for further study of the metabolites of Forsythiae Fructus. | Lingdi Liu Chunxiu Wen Wei Tian Xiaoliang Xie Saiqun Wen Tao Jiang | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,10: | 0 |
| 8 | Characterization and Phylogenetic Implications of the Complete Mitogenomes of Two Species in the Genus Zhangixalus(Anura:Rhacophoridae)显示文摘Mitochondrial genomes(mitogenomes)in frogs are essential for reconstructing the phylogenetic relationships and shedding light on the molecular evolution in these animals.However,there are only seven complete Rhacophoridae genomes that have been reported to date.In this paper,two complete mitogenomes of the Chinese whipping frog(Zhangixalus chenfui)and Emei tree frog(Z.omeimontis)were described,each of which was 20520 and 19782 bp in size,and had A+T contents of 64.26%and 63.83%.The two mitogenomes each included two non-coding control region(D-loop,CR),two ribosomal RNA genes(rRNAs),13 protein-coding genes(PCGs),and 22 transfer RNA genes(tRNAs),and it was found that the mitogenome of Z.chenfui also includes three tandem tRNAMet gene sequences.A typical clover-leaf structure was found for all tRNAs except for tRNASer1(AGN),which showed a reduced DHU arm.The putative D-loop region contains multiple types of tandem repeats regions.Both of these two mitogenomes showed similar pattern of gene rearrangement(tRNA-Ser-ND6-tRNA-Glu-CytbCR1-ND5-CR2-tRNA-Thr-tRNA-Leu-tRNA-Pro).Additionally,three consecutive tRNAMet genes were found for the first time in Z.chenfui,a species in the Rhacophoridae family.For all phylogenetic analyses,which were based on 13 protein-coding genes from 91 Ranoidea mitogenomes,the same phylogenetic trees were observed using either maximum likelihood or Bayesian approaches.These results suggest that the phylogenetic hypotheses for the Ranoidea(including Rhacophoridae,Mantellidae,Ranidae and Dicroglossidae)derived from these mitogenomic data could provide substantiation for the relationships of(Dicroglossidae(Ranidae,(Mantellidae,Rhacophoridae))),and support the presence of a monophyletic group in four families.Moreover,Z.omeimontis and Z.dennysi were found to cluster on the same branch,indicating that they were more closely related as a group.This group may in turn form sister groups with Z.arboreus and Z.schlegelii.However,Z.chenfui is located on the base of other species in the genera.Increased mitogenome sampling should be conducted to provide a more satisfactory resolution to the phylogeny of the Rhacophorus,Rhacophoridae,and Mantellidae. | Lichun JIANG Wanqing SONG Yujia LIU Yujie ZHANG Jingfeng LIU Chunxiu LIU Xiaodong JIA Wei CHEN | 2023 | Asian Herpetological Research2023,14,3: | 0 |
