1Responses of Soil Enzyme Activities and Microbial Community Composition to Moisture Regimes in Paddy Soils Under Long-Term Fertilization Practices显示文摘The effects of fertilization on activity and composition of soil microbial community depend on nutrient and water availability;however,the combination of these factors on the response of microorganisms was seldom studied.This study investigated the responses of soil microbial community and enzyme activities to changes in moisture along a gradient of soil fertility formed within a long-term(24 years)field experiment.Soils(0–20 cm)were sampled from the plots under four fertilizer treatments:i)unfertilized control(CK),ii)organic manure(M),iii)nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium fertilizers(NPK),and iv)NPK plus M(NPK+M).The soils were incubated at three moisture levels:constant submergence,five submerging-draining cycles(S-D cycles),and constant moisture content at 40%water-holding capacity(low moisture).Compared with CK,fertilization increased soil organic carbon(SOC) by 30.1%–36.3%,total N by 27.3%–38.4%,available N by 35.9%–56.4%,available P by 61.4%–440.9%,and total P by 28.6%–102.9%.Soil fertility buffered the negative effects of moisture on enzyme activities and microbial community composition.Enzyme activities decreased in response to submergence and S-D cycles versus low moisture.Compared with low moisture,S-D cycles increased total phospholipid fatty acids(PLFAs)and actinomycete,fungal,and bacterial PLFAs.The increased level of PLFAs in the unfertilized soil after five S-D cycles was greater than that in the fertilized soil.Variations in soil microbial properties responding to moisture separated CK from the long-term fertilization treatments.The coefficients of variation of microbial properties were negatively correlated with SOC,total P,and available N.Soils with higher fertility maintained the original microbial properties more stable in response to changes in moisture compared to low-fertility soil.LI Weitao WU Meng LIU Ming JIANG Chunyu CHEN Xiaofen Yakov KUZYAKOV Jorg RINKLEBE LI Zhongpei 2018Pedosphere2018,28,2:16

3Integrated transcriptome and proteome analysis provides insight into chilling-induced dormancy breaking in Chimonanthus praecox显示文摘Chilling has a critical role in the growth and development of perennial plants.The chilling requirement(CR)for dormancy breaking largely depends on the species.However,global warming is expected to negatively affect chilling accumulation and dormancy release in a wide range of perennial plants.Here,we used Chimonanthus praecox as a model to investigate the CR for dormancy breaking under natural and artificial conditions.We determined the minimum CR(570 chill units,CU)needed for chilling-induced dormancy breaking and analyzed the transcriptomes and proteomes of flowering and non-flowering flower buds(FBs,anther and ovary differentiation completed)with different CRs.The concentrations of ABA and GA3 in the FBs were also determined using HPLC.The results indicate that chilling induced an upregulation of ABA levels and significant downregulation of SHORT VEGETATIVE PHASE(SVP)and FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)homologs at the transcript level in FBs when the accumulated CR reached 570 CU(IB570)compared to FBs in November(FB.Nov,CK)and nF16(non-flowering FBs after treatment at 16℃for−300 CU),which suggested that dormancy breaking of FBs could be regulated by the ABA-mediated SVP-FT module.Overexpression in Arabidopsis was used to confirm the function of candidate genes,and early flowering was induced in 35S::CpFT1 transgenic lines.Our data provide insight into the minimum CR(570 CU)needed for chilling-induced dormancy breaking and its underlying regulatory mechanism in C.praecox,which provides a new tool for the artificial regulation of flowering time and a rich gene resource for controlling chilling-induced blooming.Zhineng Li Ning Liu Wei Zhang Chunyu Wu Yingjie Jiang Jing Ma Mingyang Li Shunzhao Sui 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:6
4Sedimentary evolution of Neoproterozoic rift basin in northern Tarim显示文摘Based on the outcrop,drilling and seismic data,the sedimentary successions,evolution and hydrocarbon exploration potential of the Neoproterozoic rift basin in the northern Tarim were firstly analyzed.Due to assembly and breakup of the Rodinia supercontinent,the Tabei paleocontinent and the Tarim paleocontinent were developed in the Tarim craton with an EW-trending back-arc rift basin between them during Neoproterozoic time;very thick marine clastic rocks,carbonate rocks and volcanic rocks(including tillite)were deposited in the Kuruktag and Aksu area of the northern Tarim,which experienced deep sea,bathyal sea and littoral sea environments with transitional delta and ice-sea.During the Early Cryogenian and the Late Ediacaran,the northern rift basin evolved from the deep sea to the littoralneritic sea,while the lithology changed from clastic rocks to carbonate rocks.According to the field and production data,the formation and preservation of the source rocks and reservoirs indicate a good exploration potential of the Neoproterozoic rift basin.Lin Wu Shuwei Guan Rong Ren Chunyu Zhang 2017Petroleum Research2017,2,4:6
5Air pollution and inhalation exposure to particulate matter of different sizes in rural households using improved stoves in central China显示文摘Household air pollution is considered to be among the top environmental risks in China.To examine the performance of improved stoves for reduction of indoor particulate matter(PM) emission and exposure in rural households, individual inhalation exposure to size-resolved PM was investigated using personal portable samplers carried by residents using wood gasifier stoves or improved coal stoves in a rural county in Central China.Concentrations of PM with different sizes in stationary indoor and outdoor air were also monitored at paired sites. The stationary concentrations of size-resolved PM in indoor air were greater than those in outdoor air, especially finer particles PM0.25. The daily averaged exposure concentrations of PM0.25, PM1.0, PM2.5 and total suspended particle for all the surveyed residents were 74.4 ± 41.1, 159.3 ± 74.3, 176.7 ± 78.1 and 217.9 ± 78.1 μg/m3,respectively. Even using the improved stoves, the individual exposure to indoor PM far exceeded the air quality guideline by WHO at 25 μg/m3. Submicron particles PM1.0 were the dominant PM fraction for personal exposure and indoor and outdoor air. Personal exposure exhibited a closer correlation with indoor PM concentrations than that for outdoor concentrations. Both inhalation exposure and indoor air PM concentrations in the rural households with gasifier firewood stoves were evidently lower than the reported results using traditional firewood stoves. 7Free-standing ZnO nanorod arrays modified with single-walled carbon nanotubes for betavoltaics and photovoltaics显示文摘A full-duplex radiant energy converter based on both betavoltaic and photovoltaic effects in an easyto-implement way is an attractive alternative for the autonomous wireless sensor microsystem.Here,we report a novel beta/photovoltaic cell based on free-standing Zn O nanorod arrays(ZNRAs)modified with metallic single-walled carbon nanotubes(m-SWCNTs),using radioisotope63 Ni as beta-emitting source.The ZNRAs were grown on Al-doped Zn O(AZO)conductive glass using hydrothermal method.The optimum length and diameter of Zn O nanorods were determined by Monte Carlo simulation for beta energy deposition in ZNRAs.The m-SWCNTs were anchored into the ZNRAs to form a three-dimensional(3-D)Schottky junction structure for effectively separating the beta/photo-excited electron-hole pairs.Experimentally,the betavoltaic and photovoltaic effects were confirmed through the I-V measurements of beta/photovoltaic cells under beta/UV/Vis irradiations,respectively.It is suggested that the m-SWCNTs play key role for the enhancement of beta/photovoltaic performance through the formation of extensive3-D Schottky junction,the conductive network for hole transport,and the surface plasmon resonance exciton absorption for visible light.Changsong Chen Jiang Chen Zhen Wang Jian Zhang Haisheng San Shichao Liu Chunyu Wu Werner Hofmann 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,19:3

10Nogo-A and Nogo-A receptor expression in periventricular white matter of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis rats显示文摘BACKGROUND:Previous studies have focused on the correlation between Nogo-A expression and multiple sclerosis or between Nogo-A receptor(NgR) expression and multiple sclerosis in the central nervous system.Expression patterns of Nogo-A and NgR remain poorly understood in rat models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE).OBJECTIVE:To observe dynamic changes in Nogo-A and NgR protein expression,and to verify the correlation between Nogo-A and NgR protein,as well as expression patterns at various time points,in periventricular tissue of EAE rats.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A neuroimmunological,randomized,controlled experiment was performed at the Clinical Institute of Hunan People's Hospital of China from September to November 2008.MATERIALS:Immunohistochemistry(streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase complex method) kit was purchased from Boster,China.METHODS:A total of 60 female,Wistar rats,aged 6-8 weeks,were randomly assigned to EAE and control groups(n = 30,respectively).Guinea pig spinal cord homogenate,self-made complete Freund's adjuvant(0.2 mL/100 g),and pertussis vaccine(0.2 mL) were subcutaneously injected into the hindlimb foot pad of rats from the EAE group to create rat models of EAE.Complete Freund's adjuvant(0.2 mL) was infused into rats from the control group.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Nogo-A and NgR protein expression was determined in periventricular white matter using immunohistochemical methods.Neurological scores were determined in all rats.RESULTS:Rats from the EAE group developed acute-onset EAE following immunization.The pathogenetic symptoms reached a peak on day 15,and neurological scores were also greatest at this time point.Neurological scores decreased with recovery of the illness.Nogo-A was shown to be expressed in neuronal cells and oligodendrocytes,and expression increased 11 days after immunization(P < 0.01),decreased by day 13(P < 0.01),and then increased again by day 15.Nogo-A expression remained greater in the EAE group compared with the control group at day 30(P < 0.01).In the EAE group,NgR protein was primarily expressed on the surface of neuronal bodies and axons.NgR expression increased 13-18 days after immunization(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Nogo-A and NgR protein expression altered with disease course in periventricular white matter of EAE rats.Results suggested that Nogo-A and NgR were involved in EAE occurrence.Liming Tan Ying Chi Chunyu Wang1, Jun Wu1, Hainan Zhang1, Xiangmin Shen1, ShujuanDuan1, Bo JiangI Jun Wu Hainan Zhang Xiangmin Shen Shujuan Duan Bo Jiang 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,8:2
11Effects of duckweed(Spriodela polyrrhiza)remediation on the composition of dissolved organic matter in effluent of scale pig farms显示文摘The swine effluent studied was collected from scale pig farms,located in Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province,China,and duckweed(Spriodela polyrrhiza) was selected to dispose the effluent.The purpose of this study was to elucidate the effects of duckweed growth on the dissolved organic matter composition in swine effluent.Throughout the experiment period,the concentrations of organic matter were determined regularly,and the excitationemission matrix(3DEEM) spectroscopy was used to characterize the fluorescence component.Compared with no-duckweed treatments(controls),the specific ultra-violet absorbance at 254 nm(SUVA_(254)) was increased by a final average of 34.4%as the phytoremediation using duckweed,and the removal rate of DOC was increased by a final average of 28.0%.In swine effluent,four fluorescence components were identified,including two protein-like(tryptophan,tyrosine) and two humic-like(fulvic acids,humic acids) components.For all treatments,the concentrations of protein-like components decreased by a final average of 69.0%.As the growth of duckweed,the concentrations of humic-like components were increased by a final average of 123.5%than controls.Significant and positive correlations were observed between SUVA_(254) and humic-like components.Compared with the controls,the humification index(HIX) increased by a final average of 9.0%for duckweed treatments.Meanwhile,the duckweed growth leaded to a lower biological index(BIX) and a higher proportion of microbial-derived fulvic acids than controls.In conclusion,the duckweed remediation not only enhanced the removal rate of organic matter in swine effluent,but also increased the percent of humic substances.Lei Li Ming Liu Meng Wu Chunyu Jiang Xiaofen Chen Xiaoyan Ma Jia Liu Weitao Li Xiaoxue Tang Zhongpei Li 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,5:2
12Residential Appliance Detection Using Attentionbased Deep Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Improving energy efficiency management has become an important task for current electricity market participating entities,and monitoring consumption of pivotal appliances plays an important role in many applications.This paper focuses on detecting whether a residence possesses a certain type of appliance based on their electricity consumption and the problem of class imbalance within deep learning model training for large power appliances with the state‘ON’.We propose a datadriven deep learning approach with attention mechanism to detect residential appliances from low-resolution aggregate energy consumption data.Firstly,the historical consumption profile of each user is divided into a specific length and labeled with the status of an appliance to generate training and test samples.Then,a deep convolutional neural network model with attention mechanism is trained,and the trained model is utilized to classify the test samples.Meanwhile,we obtain appliance status in a residence based on classification of multiple samples.Finally,we propose a novel approach of data generation for class imbalance of appliance detection using generative adversarial networks.In order to guarantee the quality,we devise a mechanism of self-validation to ensure generated data approximating real distribution of minor class samples.Experiments are conducted on a low-frequency smart meter data set sampled once every 30 minutes,and the results show that the proposed model performs better than hidden Markov model based algorithms and has good application prospects.Chunyu Deng Kehe Wu Binbin Wang 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,2:2
13Construction of polysulfides defense system for greatly improving the long cycle life of metal sulfide anodes for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Metal sulfides are promising anode materials for sodium ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific capacity and abundant source.Nevertheless,significant challenges,including large volume change,sluggish Na^(+)transport kinetics and polysulfides intermediates,have greatly affect their long cycle stability.Unfortunately,the majority of current studies only focus on the first two aspects,but lack of sufficient attention and insights into the effect of polysulfides intermediates.Here,a porous of CoS_(x)(P-CoS_(x))electrode material is fabricated as an example to investigate the influence of polysulfides on its cycling performance.The results show that polysulfides cause a slight loss of reversible capacity during the battery cycling,while the failure of the battery is due to its significant fluctuations in reversible capacity after extensive cycles.Detailed analyses demonstrate that the intense fluctuation in capacity originates from the faster growth of dendrites caused by the reaction of sodium polysulfides with sodium foil and/or the reaction of elemental sulfur with sodium foil to penetrate the separator,resulting in a local short circuit.To suppress these undesirable side reaction,N,S co-doped porous carbon tubes(N,S-PC)rich in C–S and C–N bonds have been added to adsorb polysulfides and alleviate their reaction with sodium foil.As a result,the capacity of the P-CoS_(x) electrode with N,S-PC(P-CoS_(x)/N,S-PC)remains stable without significant fluctuations for 1000 cycles,which is much better than that of the pure P-CoS_(x) electrode(intense fluctuation in capacity after 320 cycles).Our work offers insights into the crucial influence of polysulfides on the cycle performance of the P-CoS_(x) anode and provides a feasible strategy to prolong the cycle life of metal sulfide anode for SIBs.Xucai Yin Yang Ren Libin Wu Zhiguo Zhang Chunyu Du Jiajun Wang Gepin Yin Hua Huo 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:1

16Tuning the phase evolution pathway of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4) synthesis from binary intermediates to ternary intermediates with thermal regulating agent显示文摘Transition metal cation ordering is essential for controlling the electrochemical performance of cubic spinel LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)(LNMO),which is conventionally adjusted by optimizing the high temperature sintering and annealing procedures.In this present work,multiple characterization techniques,including 6,7Li NMR,XRD and HRTEM,have been combined to trace the phase transformation and morphology evolution during synthesis.It has been illustrated that simultaneous formation of LiMn_(2)O_(4)(LMO)and LiNiO_(2)(LNO)binary oxides and their conversion into highly reactive LixNi^(3+)_(y)Mn_(3.5+)_(z)O ternary intermediate is a thermal dynamically difficult but crucial step in the synthesis of LNMO ternary oxide.A new strategy of modifying the intermediates formation pathway from binary mode to ternary mode using thermal regulating agent has been adopted.LNMO synthesized with thermal regulating agent exhibits supreme rate capability,long-cycling performance(even at elevated temperature)and excellent capacity efficiency.At a high rate of 100 C,the assembled battery delivers a discharge capacity of 99 mAh g^(-1).This study provides a way to control the formation pathway of complex oxides using thermal regulating agent.Libin Wu Hua Huo Qun Wang Xucai Yin Shu Guo Jiajun Wang Chunyu Du Pengjian Zuo Geping Yin Yunzhi Gao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:1
