| 1 | Multiple-aged granitoids and related tungsten-tin mineralization in the Nanling Range, South China显示文摘The Nanling metallogenic belt in South China is characterized by well-developed tungsten-tin mineralization related to multiple-aged granitoids.This belt is one of the 5 key prospecting and exploration areas among the 19 important metallogenic targets in China.Important progress has been made in recent years in understanding the Nanling granitoids and associated mineralization,and this paper introduces the latest major findings as follows:(1)there exists a series of Caledonian,Indosinian,and Yanshanian W-Sn-bearing granites;(2)the Sn-bearing Yanshanian granites in the Nanling Range form an NE-SW trending aluminous A-type granite belt that stretches over 350 km.The granites typically belong to the magnetite series,and dioritic micro-granular enclaves with mingling features are very common;(3)the Early Yanshanian Sn-and W-bearing granites possess different petrological and geochemical features to each other:most Sn-bearing granites are metaluminous to weakly peraluminous biotite(hornblende)granites,with zircon Hf(t)values of ca.2 to 8,whereas most W-bearing granites are peraluminous two-mica granites or muscovite granites with Hf(t)values of ca.8 to 12;(4)based on the petrology and geochemistry of the W-Sn-bearing granites,mineralogical studies have shown that common minerals such as titanite,magnetite,and biotite may be used as indicators for discriminating the mineralizing potential of the Sn-bearing granites.Similarly,W-bearing minerals such as wolframite may indicate the mineralizing potential of the W-bearing granites.Future studies should be focused on examining the internal relationships between the multiple-aged granites in composite bodies,the metallogenic peculiarities of multiple-aged W-Sn-bearing granites,the links between melt evolution and highly evolved ore-bearing felsic dykes,and the connections between granite domes and mineralization. | CHEN Jun WANG RuCheng ZHU JinChu LU JianJun MA DongSheng | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12: | 46 |
| 2 | Removal of antimony from antimony mine flotation wastewater by electrocoagulation with aluminum electrodes显示文摘Antimony (Sb) has received increasing environmental concerns due to its potential toxic and carcinogenic properties. In the present work, the electrocoagulation technique was used to treat the flotation wastewater from a heavy antimony polluted area, and the mechanism of removing Sb was also investigated. The study focused on the effect of operation parameters such as current density, initial pH and standing time on the Sb removal efficiency. | 3 | Porosity and permeability evolution and evaluation in anisotropic porosity multiscale-multiphase-multicomponent structure显示文摘Based on the hybrid hypersingular integral equation-lattice Boltzmann methods (HHIE-LBM), the porosity and permeability evolution and evaluation process in anisotropic saturated porosity multiscale-multiphase-multicomponent (ASP-MS-MP-MC) structures under ultra high temperature and pressure conditions was analyzed on parallel CPU and GPU platforms. First, virtual physical models at multi-spatial scales (2 μm, 5 μm and 10 μm) were restructured by computerized microtomography technology and data. | 4 | Application of flow driven pore-network crack model to Zipingpu reservoir and Longmenshan slip显示文摘The study has analyzed the relationship between the water-drainage sluice process of reservoir, stress triggers and shadows of earthquake and porosity variability of fault slip zone. First, the pore pressure, pressure gradient, viscous stress and Reynolds stress to reservoir-earthquake fault slip problem are analyzed, and these are un-negligible factors of the extended coulomb failure stress under ultra-high temperature and pressure condition. Second, the porosity tensor and permeability tensor are studied, the relationship between Zipingpu reservoir and Longmenshan slip has been analyzed, and the extended viscous stress and Reynolds stress as function of time and infiltration process are obtained. | 6 | Petrogenesis of the concealed Daqiling intrusion in Guangxi and its tectonic significance: Constraints from geochemistry, zircon U-Pb dating and Nd-Hf isotopic compositions显示文摘The samples from the hidden Daqiling muscovite monzonite granite, which has recently been recognized within the Limu Sn-polymetallic ore field, have been analyzed for zircon U-Pb ages and whole rock geochemical and Nd-Hf isotopic compositions to discuss its genesis, source, and tectonic setting. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating indicates that the granite crystallized in the late Indosinian(224.8±1.6 Ma). The granite is enriched in SiO2 and K2 O and low in CaO and Na2 O. It is strongly peraluminous with the A/CNK values of 1.09–1.20 and 1.4 vol%–2.7 vol% normal corundum. Chondrite-normalized REE patterns show slightly right-dipping shape with strongly negative Eu anomalies(δEu =0.08–0.17). All samples show enrichment of LILEs(Cs, Rb and K) and HFSEs(U, Pb, Ce and Hf), but have relatively low contents of Ba, Sr and Ti. The zircon saturation temperatures(Tzr) are from 711 to 740℃, which are slightly lower than the average value of typical S-type granite(764℃). The granite has negative εNd(t) and εHf(t) values, which change from -9.1 to -10.1 with the peak values of -9.2 to -9.0 and from -3.7 to -12.6 with the peak values of -6 to -5, respectively. The C DMT(Nd) and C DMT(Hf) values are 1.74–1.82 Ga with the peak values of 1.73–1.75 Ga and 1.49–2.04 Ga with the peak values of 1.5–1.6 Ga, respectively. These characteristics reveal that the source region of the granite is dominantly late Paleoproterozoic to early Mesoproterozoic crustal materials. Seven inherited magmatic zircons are dated at the age of 248.6±4.3 Ma, which suggests the existence of the early Indosinian granite in Limu area. These zircons have the εHf(t) values of -6.7– -2.3, similar to those of the Daqiling granite, implying the involvement of the early Indosinian granite during the formation of the Daqiling granite. Inherited zircon of 945±11 Ma has the εHf(t) and TDM(Hf) values of 8.7 and 1.14 Ga, respectively, compatible with those of the Neoproterozoic arc magmatic rocks in the eastern Jiangnan orogenic belt. Therefore we inferred that Neoproterozoic arc magma might have been involved in the formation of the Daqiling granite, and that the Neoproterozoic arc magma belt and continent-arc collision belt between the Yangtze and Cathaysia Blocks might have extended westsouthward to Limu region. | 9 | Evolution of the microstructure and solute distribution of Sn-10wt% Bi alloys during electromagnetic field-assisted directional solidification显示文摘The effects of forced flows at different velocities on microstructure and solute distribution during the directional solidification of Sn-10 wt% Bi alloys under a simultaneous imposition of a transverse static magnetic field(TSMF) and an external direct current(DC) have been investigated experimentally and numerically. The experimental results show that the solid-liquid interface will gradually become sloping with the increase of the forced flow velocity when the thermoelectric magnetic convection(TEMC)dominates the forced flow at solidification front. However, the interface will gradually become planar as the flow velocity further increases when the electromagnetic convection(EMC) dominates the forced flow. Moreover, when the flow velocity gradually increases, the primary dendrite spacing decreases from384 to 105 μm accordingly. The simulation results show that the solute distribution at the two sides of the sample can be significantly changed by the forced flow at solidification front. The rejected solute will be unidirectionally transported to one side of the sample along the TEMC(a low-velocity forced flow),thereby causing the formation of a sloping interface. However, the rejected solute will be returned back along the EMC(a higher-velocity force flow), which results in a planar interface. Furthermore, the solute content at the two sides of the sample under the forced flows at different velocities was measured. | 10 | Optimized pre-treatment of high strength food waste digestate by high content aluminum-nanocluster based magnetic coagulation显示文摘Coagulation-based pre-treatment efficiency of high strength digestate of food waste(HSDFW) anaerobic digestion is negated by organic ligand-catalyzed decomposition of coagulants. In this study, an efficient HSDFW pre-treatment method, magnetic seeds(MS) coagulation, was employed by using highly stable Keggin Al_(30) nanocluster(PAC_(30)), MS and polyacrylamide(PAM), and its operation was optimized by evaluating the performance of removing turbidity, total suspended solids(TSS), chemical oxygen demand(COD), and total phosphorous(TP) phosphate. Results showed that at the optimum dosage of 4.82 g/L, PAC_(30) demonstrated excellent removals as high as 98.93% ± 0.1% of turbidity, 98.04% ± 0.1% of TSS, 58.28% ± 0.3% of total COD, 99.98% ± 0.01% of TP and 99.50% ± 0.01% of dissolved phosphate, respectively. Apparent molecular weight(AMW) and three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix(3 D-EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy analyses demonstrated more efficient removal of dissolved organic matter(DOM), particularly non-biodegradable and hydrophobic components by PAC_(30) than commercial coagulant. The sedimentation was much improved from 40 min by coagulation/flocculation to about 5 min settling by MS coagulation. | 11 | Experimental research on the heating performance of a single cylinder refrigerant injection rotary compressor heat pump with flash tank显示文摘A single cylinder rotary compressor was applied in the refrigerant injection air-source heat pump to improve the heating performance in cold regions. In this study, the performance of an R410 A single cylinder rotary compressor vapor injection(SCRCVI) system was measured and analyzed by varying the compressor frequency f and injection pressure Pi njat the ambient temperature To d=–10°C.The experimental results indicated that an optimum injection pressure to gain the maximum COP_h (coefficient of performance) existed in the SCRCVI cycle. However, the maximum COP_h of the SCRCVI system decreased as the increase of the frequency, and the maximum COPhwas even lower than that of the CSVC system at high compressor frequency. Therefore, in view of the energy saving and emission reduction, the SCRCVI system should be switched to single stage compression system when the heating capacity demand could be satisfied at high compressor frequency f. Compared to the conventional single-stage vapor compression(CSVC) system, refrigerant injection could enhance the heating capacities and COP_h by 28.2% and 7.91%, respectively. The average total mass flow rate of the SCRCVI system was 24.68% higher than that of the CSVC system. As the SCRCVI system worked at the optimum injection pressure, the variation trends of the different system parameters were investigated in detail. These trends were reliably used to optimize the refrigerant injection system design and the control strategy. | 12 | The impact of HS radicals on the measured rate constant of H_2S with OH radicals显示文摘The rate constant for the reaction of OH radicals and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) was studied in different bath gases (including N2, air, O2 and He) by using relative technique at 298 K. The small difference of the measured rate constants between N2 and those with the presence of O2 suggested possible influence of HS self reaction. Further experiments with NOx presence for scavenging HS demonstrated this assumption. The rate constant of (5.48±0.12) ×10-12 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 obtained with 4.09 ×10-4 mol m3 NO presence may be accurate for estimating the atmospheric lifetime of H2S. | 14 | Coupling of the chemical niche and microbiome in the rhizosphere:implications from watermelon grafting显示文摘Grafting is commonly used to overcome soilborne diseases. However, its effects on the rhizodeposits as well as the linkages between the rhizosphere chemical niche and microbiome remained unknown. In this paper,significant negative correlations between the bacterial alpha diversity and both the disease incidence(r = – 0.832,P = 0.005) and pathogen population(r = – 0.786, P = 0.012)were detected. Moreover, our results showed that the chemical diversity not only predicts bacterial alpha diversity but also can impact on overall microbial community structure(beta diversity) in the rhizosphere.Furthermore, some anti-fungal compounds including heptadecane and hexadecane were identified in the rhizosphere of grafted watermelon. We concluded that grafted watermelon can form a distinct rhizosphere chemical niche and thus recruit microbial communities with high diversity. Furthermore, the diverse bacteria and the antifungal compounds in the rhizosphere can potentially serve as biological and chemical barriers, respectively, to hinder pathogen invasion. | 15 | CSN6 promotes tumorigenesis of gastric cancer by ubiquitin-independent proteasomal degradation of p16INK4a显示文摘Objective: CSN6 is a vital subunit of the constitutive photomorphogenesis 9(COP9) signalosome(CSN), which is responsible for development disorders and promotes ubiquitin-26 S proteasome-dependent degradation in vitro and vivo.Its role in the tumor development of gastric cancer remains unclear.In this study, we investigated the role of CSN6 in gastric cancer progression.Methods: Human gastric cancer samples were collected and immunohistochemistry was performed to identify the role of CSN6 in gastric cancer.The cell proliferation was measured by CCK-8 and the EdU incorporation method.Immunofluorescence localization and a co-immunoprecipitation study were used to show the interaction between the protein CSN6 and p16.Ubiquitination assay was performed to validate whether ubiquitination is involved in CSN6-mediated p16 degradation.BALB/c nude mice were used to produce a tumor model in order to test the effect of CSN6 on cancer growth in vivo.Results: CSN6 expression was dramatically increased in gastric cancer tissues compared with paired adjacent non-tumor tissues and CSN6 was correlated with worse overall and disease-specific survival.Additionally, we also found that CSN6 downregulated p16 protein expression, thereby promoting gastric cancer cell growth and proliferation.Moreover, CSN6 interacted with p16 and a proteasome activator REGγ(PA28γ), thereby facilitating ubiquitin-independent degradation of p16.Conclusions: CSN6 promoted the loss of p16-mediated tumor progression and played an important role in regulating ubiquitin-independent proteasomal degradation of p16. | Wenqi Du Zongxiang Liu Wentao Zhu Tongtong Li Zhiman Zhu Lulu Wei Jun Song Dongsheng Pei | 2019 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3: | 2 |

| 18 | Electrochemical CO_(2) mineralization for red mud treatment driven by hydrogen-cycled membrane electrolysis显示文摘CO_(2)mineralization as a promising CO_(2)mitigation strategy can employ industrial alkaline solid wastes to achieve net emission reduction of atmospheric CO_(2).The red mud is a strong alkalinity waste residue produced from the aluminum industry by the Bayer process which has the potential for the industrial CO_(2)large scale treatment.However,limited by complex components of red mud and harsh operating conditions,it is challenging to directly mineralize CO_(2)using red mud to recover carbon and sodium resources and to produce mineralized products simultaneously with high economic value efficiently.Herein,we propose a novel electrochemical CO_(2)mineralization strategy for red mud treatment driven by hydrogen-cycled membrane electrolysis,realizing mineralization of CO_(2)efficiently and recovery of carbon and sodium resources with economic value.The system utilizes H_(2)as the redox-active proton carrier to drive the cathode and anode to generate OH^(-) and H^(+) at low voltage,respectively.The H^(+) plays as a neutralizer for the alkalinity of red mud and the OH^(-) is used to mineralize CO_(2)into generate highpurity NaHCO_(3)product.We verify that the system can effectively recover carbon and sodium resources in red mud treatment process,which shows that the average electrolysis efficiency is 95.3%with highpurity(99.4%)NaHCO_(3)product obtained.The low electrolysis voltage of 0.453 V is achieved at10 mA·cm^(-2) in this system indicates a potential low energy consumption industrial process.Further,we successfully demonstrate that this process has the ability of direct efficient mineralization of flue gas CO_(2)(15%volume)without extra capturing,being a novel potential strategy for carbon neutralization. | Heping Xie Yunpeng Wang Tao Liu Yifan Wu Wenchuan Jiang Cheng Lan Zhiyu Zhao Liangyu Zhu Dongsheng Yang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,3: | 2 |
| 19 | Stereotactic surgery for refractory epilepsy complicated by mental disorders A retrospective case analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Anti-epilepsy and anti-psychosis drugs have traditionally been used in the clinic to treat epilepsy complicated by mental disorders. However, there is still no effective therapy for refractory epilepsy patients suffering from persistent mental disorders. OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic effects of stereotactic multi-element localization and multi-target radiofrequency ablation on patients with refractory primary epilepsy and mental disorders. DESIGN: A retrospective case analysis. SETTING: Department of Neurosurgery, the 454 Hospital of Chinese PLA. PARTICIPANTS: Between June and November 2004, 13 patients with refractory primary epilepsy compli-cated by persistent mental disorders were admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery, the 454 Hospital of Chinese PLA. The patient group consisted of nine males and four females, with an average age of 25 years (range 18-39 years), and a course of disease ranging 3-11 years. Diagnosis of mental disorders was in ac-cordance with Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders. Written informed consent was obtained from all patients and their families, and the treatment protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Hospital. METHODS: Under venous inhalation anesthesia, the disease targets, including bilateral corpus callosum, bilateral amygdala, and bilateral medial septal area, as well as unilateral Forel-H area, were coagulated by RFG-3CF radiofrequency thermocoagulation at 75-80 ℃ for 60-70 seconds. During thermocoagulation, the targets were identified using deep-brain microelectrodes and localized according to electrophysiology and electric resistance values. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: One year post-surgery, epileptic seizures were assessed on the basis of the Tan classification, and psychogenic (non-epileptic) seizures were evaluated using a 5-grade system. RESULTS: All enrolled 13 epileptic patients were included in the final analysis. The results of follow-up evaluations demonstrated that epilepsy was well-controlled. In total, nine patients did not experience relapse, and the frequency of seizures was reduced by 75% in two patients, and 50%-74% in another two patients. Psychogenic seizures were ameliorated in 11 cases (class 1, recovery) and improved significantly in two cases (class 2, significant improvement). | 20 | Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation.
