| 3 | Temperature variability since A.D.1837 inferred from tree-ring maximum density of Abies fabri on Gongga Mountain,China显示文摘Two tree-ring MXD (maximum latewood density) chronologies of Abies fabri were developed from the eastern slopes of Gongga Mountain, and a regional chronology (RC) was established based on the two MXD chronologies. There were significant positive correlations between the three MXD chronologies and August-September temperature, and the RC had the highest correlation (r=0.733, n=48, P<0.001) with mean August-September temperature. Based on growth-climate analyses, we reconstructed mean August-September temperature during the past 171 years for the study area. The reconstruction explained 53.5% of the instrumental temperature variance during the period 1960-2007 (F=52.8, R2adj =52.4%). In the past 171 years, there were 22 very warm years and 23 very cold years, four cold periods (1837-1842, 1884-1891, 1899-1905 and 1984-1989) and three warm periods (1966-1973, 1916-1924 and 1876-1881). | 4 | Reconstructing mean maximum temperatures of May-August from tree-ring maximum density in North Da Hinggan Mountains, China显示文摘Tree-ring samples from Dahurian Larch (Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr.) were collected at three sites in the northern Da Hinggan Mountains. Using samples measured by X-ray densitometry, measurements of tree-ring maximum latewood density chronologies of two sites were found to be significantly correlated with summer temperature. These two sites' tree-ring series were combined to form a single standard regional chronology. This was used to reconstruct the May-August monthly mean maximum temperature for the period 1855-2008 AD, and it explained 39.5% of the total temperature variance. In the past 154 years, there were 4 cold periods (1874-1893, 1927-1948, 1951-1960 and 1992-2002) and 4 warm periods (1855-1873, 1894-1916, 1961-1991 and 2003-2008). The summer temperature rose more obviously than that of winter in this region. | 5 | Integrated analysis of transcriptomic and proteomic data from tree peony(P.ostii)seeds reveals key developmental stages and candidate genes related to oil biosynthesis and fatty acid metabolism显示文摘Tree peony(Paeonia section Moutan DC.)seeds are an excellent source of beneficial natural compounds that promote health,and they contain high levels of alpha-linolenic acid(ALA).In recent years,tree peony has been emerging as an oil crop.Therefore,combined analysis of the transcriptome and proteome of tree peony(P.ostii)seeds at 25,32,39,53,67,81,88,95,and 109 days after pollination(DAP)was conducted to better understand the transcriptional and translational regulation of seed development and oil biosynthesis.A total of 38,482 unigenes and 2841 proteins were identified.A total of 26,912 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)and 592 differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)were clustered into three groups corresponding to the rapid growth,seed inclusion enrichment and conversion,and late dehydration and mature stages of seed development.Fifteen lipid metabolism pathways were identified at both the transcriptome and proteome levels.Pathway enrichment analysis revealed that a period of rapid fatty acid biosynthesis occurred at 53–88 DAP.Furthermore,211 genes and 35 proteins associated with the fatty acid metabolism pathway,63 genes and 11 proteins associated with the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids(UFAs),and 115 genes and 24 proteins associated with ALA metabolism were identified.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that 16 putative fatty acid desaturase(FAD)-encoding genes clustered into four FAD groups,eight of which exhibited the highest expression at 53 DAP,suggesting that they play an important role in ALA accumulation.RT-qPCR analysis indicated that the temporal expression patterns of oil biosynthesis genes were largely similar to the RNA-seq results.The expression patterns of fatty acid metabolism-and seed development-related proteins determined by MRM were also highly consistent with the results obtained in the proteomic analysis.Correlation analysis indicated significant differences in the number and abundance of DEGs and DEPs but a high level of consistency in expression patterns and metabolic pathways.The results of the present study represent the first combined transcriptomic and proteomic analysis of tree peony seeds and provide insight into tree peony seed development and oil accumulation. | Xiaojing Wang Haiying Liang Dalong Guo Lili Guo Xiangguang Duan Qishi Jia Xiaogai Hou | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 9 |

Here, we prese nt high-quality two-dime nsional SnS2 nano sheets with well-controlled Sb dopi ng concen tration via direct vapor growth approach and following micromechanical cleavage process. X-ray photoelectro n spectroscopy (XPS) measureme nt dem on strates that Sb contents of the doped samples are approximately 0.22%, 0.34% and 1.21%, respectively, and doping in duces the upward shift of the Fermi level with respect to the pristi ne SnS2. Tran smissio n electro n microscopy (TEM) characterizatio n exhibits that Sb-doped SnS2 nano sheets have a high-quality hexagonal symmetry structure and Sb element is uniformly distributed in the nano sheets. The phototra nsistors based on the Sb-doped SnS2 mono layers show n-type behavior with high mobility which is one order of magn itude higher than that of pristi ne SnS2 phototra nsistors. The photorespo nsivity and exter nal quantum efficiency (EQE) of Sb-S nS2 mono layers phototra nsistors are approximately three orders of magnitude higher than that of pristine SnS2 phototransistor. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. | 13 | Eplerenone inhibits atrial fibrosis in mutant TGF-β1 transgenic mice显示文摘The purpose of the present study was to study the impacts of eplerenone(EPL), an antagonist of mineralocorticoid receptors(MR), on atrial fibrosis in a mouse model with selective fibrosis in the atrium, and to explore the possible mechanisms. Using mutant TGF-β1 transgenic(Tx) mice, we first demonstrated that EPL inhibited atrial fibrosis specifically and decreased macrophage accumulation in the atria of these mice. Results from immunohistochemistry and western blotting showed that EPL attenuated protein expression of fibrosis-related molecules such as connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) and fibronectin in the atria of Tx mice. In culture, EPL inhibited gene expression of fibrosis-related molecules such as fibronectin, α-SMA, and CTGF in TGF-β1-stimulated atrial fibroblasts. Finally, using a co-culture system, we showed that TGF-β1-stimulated atrial fibroblasts induced migration of macrophages and this was blocked by EPL. EPL also blocked TGF-β1-induced gene expression of intedeukin-6(IL-6) in atrial fibroblasts. Therefore, we conclude that EPL attenuated atrial fibrosis and macrophage infiltration in Tx mice. | 15 | Two novel bocaparvovirus species identified in wild Himalayan marmots显示文摘Bocaparvovirus(BOV) is a genetically diverse group of DNA viruses and a possible cause of respiratory, enteric, and neurological diseases in humans and animals. Here, two highly divergent BOVs(tentatively named as Himalayan marmot BOV,HMBOV1 and HMBOV2) were identified in the livers and feces of wild Himalayan marmots in China, by viral metagenomic analysis. Five of 300 liver samples from Himalayan marmots were positive for HMBOV1 and five of 99 fecal samples from these animals for HMBOV2. Their nearly complete genome sequences are 4,672 and 4,887 nucleotides long, respectively, with a standard genomic organization and containing protein-coding motifs typical for BOVs. Based on their NS1, NP1, and VP1,HMBOV1 and HMBOV2 are most closely related to porcine BOV SX/1-2(approximately 77.0%/50.0%, 50.0%/53.0%, and79.0%/54.0% amino acid identity, respectively). Phylogenetic analysis of these three proteins showed that HMBOV1 and HMBOV2 formed two distinctly independent branches in BOVs. According to these results, HMBOV1 and HMBOV2 are two different novel species in the Bocaparvovirus genus. Their identification expands our knowledge of the genetic diversity and evolution of BOVs. | 19 | Preparation and toxicity evaluation of a novel nattokinase-tauroursodeoxycholate complex显示文摘Nattokinase(NK), which has been identified as a potent fibrinolytic protease, has remarkable potential in treatment of thrombolysis, and even has the ability to ameliorate chronic vein thrombosis. To reduce the hemorrhagic risk from an intravenous injection of NK,nattokinase-tauroursodeoxycholate(NK-TUDCA) complex was prepared at different pH values and with different ratios of NK and TUDCA. When assessing survival time, survival state,tail injury, and the body weight of mice, it was found that the NK-TUDCA complex(NK: 10 k IU/ml; TUDCA: 10 mg/ml; pH 5.0) had a lower toxicity when administered at an NK dosage of 130 kIU/kg in the acute toxicity test and 13 kIU/kg in the repeated low-dose challenge. From the results of the in vitro thrombolytic test and characterization of NKTUDCA, we speculated that the delayed release of NK-TUDCA might be the main cause of toxicity reduction by the complex. | 20 | Efficacy compared between entecavir and adefovir dipivoxil on HBeAg-positive nucleos(t)ide-naive patients with chronic hepatitis B at week 12 and week 48显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of entecavir and adefovir dipivoxil on HBeAg-positive nucleos(t)ide-naive patients with chronic hepatitis B with the method of Meta analysis.Methods:We searched PUBMED,EMBASE,CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure),the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews with reference to all data documented before May 2010.The dosage of entecavir and adefovir dipivoxil was 0.5 mg/d and 10 mg/d,respectively.Heterogeneity was examined by Chi-square test,the relative risk calculated and forest plot drawn.Rates of undetected serum HBV DNA,serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) normalization,HBeAg clearance,HBeAg seroconversion and adverse effect occurrence were analyzed.Results:Six articles were included,which fit well in with this study.Meta analysis showed that the rate of undetected serum HBV DNA(P=0.000 2 at week 12,P=0.002 at week 48)and that of serum ALT normalization(P=0.04 at week 12,P=0.008 at week 48)in the entecavir group were higher than those in the adefovir dipivoxil group.However,no statistic significance existed between the two groups in the rate of HBeAg clearance (P=0.17),the rate of HBeAg seroconversion(P=0.53)or the rate of adverse effect occurrence(P=0.92)at week 48.Conclusion:Entecavir was superior to adefovir dipivoxil in decreasing serum HBV DNA and normalizing serum ALT in the HBeAg-positive nucleos(t)ide-naive patients with chronic hepatitis B. | Zhao Pan Xu Dongping Wang Xi Duan Guangfeng Huang Lili | 2010 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2010,25,5: | 2 |
