| 2 | Preparation and anisotropic properties of textured structural ceramics: A review显示文摘Ceramics are usually composed of randomly oriented grains and intergranular phases, so their properties are the statistical average along each direction and show isotropy corresponding to the uniform microstructures. Some methods have been developed to achieve directional grain arrangement and preferred orientation growth during ceramic preparation, and then textured ceramics with anisotropic properties are obtained. Texture microstructures give particular properties to ceramics along specific directions, which can effectively expand their application fields. In this review, typical texturing techniques suitable for ceramic materials, such as hot working, magnetic alignment, and templated grain growth(TGG), are discussed. | 5 | Epoxidized methyl ricinoleate bio-plasticizer with a pendant acetate ester for PVC artificial material:circumventing existing limit on achievable migration resistance显示文摘Processing polyvinyl chloride(PVC)artificial material requires plasticizer that softens the PVC coating.Currently,utilizing unsaturated fatty acid methyl esters to obtain epoxidized fatty acid methyl ester(EFAME)bio-plasticizers constitutes an environmentally responsible solution to substitute conventional ortho-phthalates that are endocrine disruptors or probable carcinogens.However,commercial EFAMEs,even with the highest epoxy value(ca.5.5-5.8%)so far,still suffer from fast leaching from the PVC matrix,burdening the environment and shortening lifespan of the artificial material.Here,we report a proof-of-principle demonstration of a new strategy to obtain migration-resistant EFAME that harnesses the midchain hydroxyl of methyl ricinoleate and covalently attachment of a pendant acetate ester.Despite a low epoxy value(3.0%),the engineered bio-plasticizer displays significantly suppressed migration in multiple scenarios compared with one conventional EFAME with much higher epoxy value(5.8%).Circumventing the limit confronting previous strategy that highlights the sole contribution of epoxy value to achievable migration resistance,the rationale herein may provide guidance for designing new EFAMEs with comparable performance to ortho-phthalates,thus bringing the old and oft-maligned PVC artificial material industry one step closer to sustainability. | Siyu Pan Delong Hou Gaofu Yang Qiuping Xie Sunxian Yan Qi Zeng Zhonghui Wang Yi Chen Haojun Fan | 2019 | Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2019,1,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of DNA demethylase family in cotton显示文摘Background:DNA methylation is an important epigenetic factor that maintains and regulates gene expression.The mode and level of DNA methylation depend on the roles of DNA methyltransferase and demethylase,while DNA demethylase plays a key role in the process of DNA demethylation.The results showed that the plant’s DNA demethylase all contained conserved DNA glycosidase domain.This study identified the cotton DNA demethylase gene family and analyzed it using bioinformatics methods to lay the foundation for further study of cotton demethylase gene function.Results:This study used genomic information from diploid Gossypium raimondii JGI(D),Gossypium arboreum L.CRI(A),Gossypium hirsutum L.JGI(AD1) and Gossypium barbadebse L NAU(AD2) to Arabidopsis thaliana.Using DNA demethylase genes sequence of Arabidopsis as reference,25 DNA demethylase genes were identified in cotton by BLAST analysis.There are 4 genes in the genome D,5 genes in the genome A,10 genes in the genome AD1,and 6 genes in the genome AD2.The gene structure and evolution were analyzed by bioinformatics,and the expression patterns of DNA demethylase gene family in Gossypium hirsutum L were analyzed.From the phylogenetic tree analysis,the DNA demethylase gene family of cotton can be divided into four subfamilies:REPRESSOR of SILENCING 1(ROS1),DEMETER(DME),DEMETER-LIKE 2(DML2),and DEMETER-LIKE3(DML3).The sequence similarity of DNA demethylase genes in the same species was higher,and the genetic relationship was also relatively close.Analysis of the gene structure revealed that the DNA demethylase gene family members of the four subfamilies varied greatly.Among them,the number of introns of ROS1 and DME subfamily was larger,and the gene structure was more complex.For the analysis of the conserved domain,it was known that the DNA demethylase family gene member has an endonuclease Ⅲ(END03 c) domain.Conclusion:The genes of the DNA demethylase family are distributed differently in different cotton species,and the gene structure is very different.High expression of ROS1 genes in cotton were under abiotic stress.The expression levels of ROS1 genes were higher during the formation of cotton ovule.The transcription levels of ROS1 family genes were higher during cotton fiber development. | YANG Xiaomin LU Xuke CHEN Xiugui WANG Delong WANG Junjuan WANG Shuai GUO Lixue CHEN Chao WANG Xiaoge WANG Xinlei YE Wuwei | 2019 | Journal of Cotton Research2019,2,3: | 3 |
| 7 | Influence of the replacement of alkoxyl with alkylthienyl on photovoltaic properties of two small molecule donors for organic solar cells显示文摘Two benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b¢]dithiophene(BDT)-based small molecule(SM) donor materials with identical conjugated backbones but different substitution groups, named as DRTB-O and DRTB-T, were well explored to demonstrate the influence of the replacement of alkoxy with alkylthienyl on their photovoltaic properties in fullerene-based and fullerene-free organic solar cells(OSCs). The study shows that the two SM donors possess similar absorption spectra and energy levels but different crystalline structures in solid films. The carrier transport property and phase separation morphologies of the blend films have also been fully investigated.By employing PC71 BM as the acceptor, the power conversion efficiency(PCE) of DRTB-O:PC71BM and DRTB-T:PC71BM based devices were 4.91% and 7.08%, respectively. However, by blending with IDIC, the two SM donors exhibited distinctly different photovoltaic properties in fullerene-free OSCs, and the PCE of DRTB-O:IDIC and DRTB-T:IDIC based devices were 0.15% and9.06%, respectively. | 9 | Strong coupling superconductivity and prominent superconducting fluctuations in the new superconductor Bi_4O_4S_3显示文摘Electric transport and scanning tunneling spectrum(STS)have been investigated on polycrystalline samples of the new superconductor Bi4O4S3.A weak insulating behavior in the resistive curve has been induced in the normal state when the superconductivity is suppressed by applying a magnetic field.Interestingly,a kink appears on the temperature dependence of resistivity near 4 K at all high magnetic fields above 1 T when the bulk superconductivity is completely suppressed.This kink associated with the upper critical field as well as the wide range of excess conductance at low fields and high temperatures is explained as the possible evidence of strong superconducting fluctuation.From the tunneling spectra,a superconducting gap of about 3 meV is frequently observed yielding a ratio of 2Δ/kB TC^16.6.This value is much larger than the one predicted by the BCS theory in the weak coupling regime(2Δ/kB TC^3.53),which suggests the strong coupling superconductivity in the present system.Furthermore,the gapped feature persists on the spectra until 14 K in the STS measurement,which suggests a prominent fluctuation region of superconductivity.Such a superconducting fluctuation can survive at very high magnetic fields,which are far beyond the critical fields for bulk superconductivity as inferred both from electric transport and tunneling measurements. | LI Sheng YANG Huan FANG DeLong WANG ZhenYu TAO Jian DING XiaXin WEN HaiHu | 2013 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,11: | 2 |

| 11 | Ground-high altitude joint detection of ozone and nitrogen oxides in urban areas of Beijing显示文摘Based on observational data of ozone(O3) and nitrogen oxide(NOx) mixing ratios on the ground and at high altitude in urban areas of Beijing during a period of six days in November 2011,the temporal and spatial characteristics of mixing ratios were analyzed.The major findings include:urban O3 mixing ratios are low and NOx mixing ratios are always high near the road in November.Vertical variations of the gases are significantly different in and above the planetary boundary layer.The mixing ratio of O3 is negatively correlated with that of NOx and they are positively correlated with air temperature,which is the main factor directly causing vertical variation of O3 and NOx mixing ratios at 600-2100m altitude.The NOx mixing ratios elevated during the heating period,while the O3 mixing ratios decreased:these phenomena are more significant at high altitudes compared to lower altitudes.During November,air masses in the urban areas of Beijing are brought by northwesterly winds,which transport O3 and NOx at low mixing ratios.Due to Beijing's natural geographical location,northwest air currents are beneficial to the dilution and dispersion of pollutants,which can result in lower O3 and NOx background values in the Beijing urban area. | Pengfei Chen Qiang Zhang Jiannong Quan Yang Gao Delong Zhao Junwang Meng | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,4: | 1 |

| 14 | Bidirectional differentiation of BMSCs induced by a biomimetic procallus based on a gelatin-reduced graphene oxide reinforced hydrogel for rapid bone regeneration显示文摘Developmental engineering strategy needs the biomimetic composites that can integrate the progenitor cells,biomaterial matrices and bioactive signals to mimic the natural bone healing process for faster healing and reconstruction of segmental bone defects.We prepared the gelatin-reduced graphene oxide(GOG)and constructed the composites that mimicked the procallus by combining the GOG with the photo-crosslinked gelatin hydrogel.The biological effects of the GOG-reinforced composites could induce the bi-differentiation of bone marrow stromal cells(BMSCs)for rapid bone repair.The proper ratio of GOG in the composites regulated the composites’mechanical properties to a suitable range for the adhesion and proliferation of BMSCs.Besides,the GOG-mediated bidirectional differentiation of BMSCs,including osteogenesis and angiogenesis,could be activated through Erk1/2 and AKT pathway.The methyl vanillate(MV)delivered by GOG also contributed to the bioactive signals of the biomimetic procallus through priming the osteogenesis of BMSCs.During the repair of the calvarial defect in vivo,the initial hypoxic condition due to GOG in the composites gradually transformed into a well-vasculature robust situation with the bi-differentiation of BMSCs,which mimicked the process of bone healing resulting in the rapid bone regeneration.As an inorganic constituent,GOG reinforced the organic photo-crosslinked gelatin hydrogel to form a double-phase biomimetic procallus,which provided the porous extracellular matrix microenvironment and bioactive signals for the bi-directional differentiation of BMSCs.These show a promised application of the bio-reduced graphene oxide in biomedicine with a developmental engineering strategy. | Delong Jiao Ao Zheng Yang Liu Xiangkai Zhang Xiao Wang Jiannan Wu Wenjun She Kaige Lv Lingyan Cao Xinquan Jiang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,7: | 1 |

| 19 | Effects of Additives on Structure and Properties of Synthesized Cordierite显示文摘Cordierite was synthesized using fly ash,sintered magnesia and silica fume as starting materials,ZrO2 and CaF2as additives,drying at(110 ± 5) ℃ for 24 h,and then firing at 1 290 ℃ for 3 h. Effects of type and addition of additives on structure and properties of synthesized cordierite were researched. The compressive strength, water absorption and apparent porosity,shrinkage rate,and bulk density of the specimens were measured,the phase composition was analyzed by XRD,and the specimens were observed by SEM. | 20 | Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of in situ nano Ta_(4)HfC_(5) reinforced SiBCN composite ceramics显示文摘The in situ nano Ta_(4)HfC_(5) reinforced SiBCN-Ta_(4)HfC_(5) composite ceramics were prepared by a combination of two-step mechanical alloying and reactive hot-pressing sintering.The microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of the resulting SiBCN-Ta_(4)HfC_(5) were studied.After the first-step milling of 30 h,the raw materials of TaC and HfC underwent crushing,cold sintering,and short-range interdiffusion to finally obtain the high pure nano Ta_(4)HfC_(5).A hybrid structure of amorphous SiBCN and nano Ta_(4)HfC_(5) was obtained by adopting a second-step ball-milling.After reactive hot-pressing sintering,amorphous SiBCN has crystallized to 3C-SiC,6H-SiC,and turbostratic BN(C)phases and Ta_(4)HfC_(5) retained the form of the nanostructure.With the in situ generations of 2.5 wt% Ta_(4)HfC_(5),Ta_(4)HfC_(5) is preferentially distributed within the turbostratic BN(C);however,as Ta_(4)HfC_(5) content further raised to 10 wt%,it mainly distributed in the grain-boundary of BN(C) and SiC.The introduction of Ta_(4)HfC_(5) nanocrystals can effectively improve the flexural strength and fracture toughness of SiBCN ceramics,reaching to 344.1 MPa and 4.52 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively.This work has solved the problems of uneven distribution of ultra-high temperature phases in the ceramic matrix,which is beneficial to the real applications of SiBCN ceramics. | Bingzhu WANG Daxin LI Zhihua YANG Dechang JIA Jingyi GUAN Hao PENG Delong CAI Peigang HE Xiaoming DUAN Yu ZHOU Tao ZHANG Chenguang GAO | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,6: | 0 |
