| 2 | Vibration suppression of a large flexible spacecraft for on-orbit operation显示文摘Flexible appendages, such as solar panels, communication antennas and other large structures, are mounted on the base of a space robot and target satellite. The vibration of the flexible structure is excited by operations of a space manipulator. It is very challenging to control the vibration of large flexible appendages for on-orbit operation and, especially when the manipulator operates a non-cooperative target with unknown structural parameters and vibration information. In this study, a hybrid control method is proposed based on wave-based control and PD control methods to control the motion of a manipulator while suppressing the vibration of appendages. First, the rigid-flexible coupled dynamic model of a compounded system is established.This is followed by designing a hybrid control strategy combining wave-based control and PD control for restto-rest maneuvers based on the characteristics of the compounded system. Finally, the simulation of a 3D compounded system is provided to verify the effectiveness of the presented approach. | 7 | Effect of Yiqi Bushen prescription on hippocampal neuronal apoptosis in diabetic rats显示文摘This study investigated the neuroprotective effect of Yiqi Bushen prescription (YQBS, supplementing qi and tonifying kidney) on neuronal cell apoptosis. Following YQBS treatment, the number of surviving hippocampal neurons increased, anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 expression increased and pro-apoptotic Bax expression decreased. In addition, diabetic rats exhibited improved learning and memory. YQBS treatment also increased Bcl-2 mRNA expression and the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax, but decreased levels of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α mRNA and Bax mRNA expression after high-glucose/hypoxia-induced injury. | 11 | Experimental investigation of damage identification for continuous railway bridges显示文摘Considering the issue of misjudgment in railway bridge damage identification,a method combining the step-by-step damage detection method with the statistical pattern recognition is proposed to detect the structural damage of a railway continuous girder bridge.The whole process of damage identification is divided into three identification substeps,namely,damage early warning,damage location,and damage extent identification.The multi-class pattern classification algorithm of C-support vector machine and the regression algorithm of ε-support vector machine are engaged to identify the damage location and damage extent,respectively.For verifying the proposed method,both of the proposed method and the optimization method are used to deal with the measured data obtained from a specific railway continuous girder model bridge.The results show that the proposed method can not only identify the damage location correctly,but also obtain the damage extent which is consistent with the experimental results accurately.By uncoupling finite element analysis and damage identification,normalizing the index,and seeking the separation hyper plane with maximum margin,the proposed method has more favorable advantages in generalization and anti-noise.As a result,it has the ability to identify the damage location and extent,and can be applied to the damage identification in real bridge structures. | Deshan SHAN Chunyu FU Qiao LI | 2012 | Journal of Modern Transportation2012,20,1: | 0 |

| 15 | Three-Dimensional Analytical Modeling of Axial-Flux Permanent Magnet Drivers显示文摘In this paper, the axial-flux permanent magnet driver is modeledand analyzed in a simple and novel way under three-dimensional cylindricalcoordinates. The inherent three-dimensional characteristics of the deviceare comprehensively considered, and the governing equations are solved bysimplifying the boundary conditions. The axial magnetization of the sectorshapedpermanent magnets is accurately described in an algebraic form bythe parameters, which makes the physical meaning more explicit than thepurely mathematical expression in general series forms. The parameters of theBessel function are determined simply and the magnetic field distribution ofpermanent magnets and the air-gap is solved. Furthermore, the field solutionsare completely analytical, which provides convenience and satisfactoryaccuracy for modeling a series of electromagnetic performance parameters,such as the axial electromagnetic force density, axial electromagnetic force,and electromagnetic torque. The correctness and accuracy of the analyticalmodels are fully verified by three-dimensional finite element simulations and a15 kW prototype and the results of calculations, simulations, and experimentsunder three methods are highly consistent.
