| 1 | Performance optimization of thermionic refrigerators based on van der Waals heterostructures显示文摘In this paper, an irreversible thermionic refrigerator model based on van der Waals heterostructure with various irreversibilities is established by utilizing combination of non-equilibrium thermodynamics and finite time thermodynamics. The basic performance characteristics of the refrigerator are obtained. The effects of key factors, such as bias voltages, Schottky barrier heights and heat leakages, on the performance are studied. Results show that cooling rates and coefficients of performances(COPs) can attain the double maximum with proper modulation of barrier heights and bias voltages. Increasing cross-plane thermal resistance as well as decreasing electrode-reservoir thermal resistance and reservoir-reservoir thermal resistance can enhance the performance of the device. The optimal performance region is the interval between the maximum cooling rate point and the maximum COP point. By modulating the bias voltage, the working state of the device can fall into the optimal performance region. | 2 | Performance optimization of three-terminal energy selective electron generators显示文摘The energy selective electron device works among electron reservoirs with different temperatures and chemical potentials.Electrons obey the Fermi-Dirac distribution,and with the help of resonant filters,a part of electrons with specific energy levels can tunnel among reservoirs and provide current to an external circuit.Herein,an irreversible three-terminal energy selective electron generator model is proposed.Using statistical mechanics and finite-time-thermodynamics,analytical expressions of power and efficiency are derived,and the optimal performance of the device is investigated.Results show that the central energy level difference of filters,the chemical potential difference of low-temperature reservoirs,the interval of mean-central-energy-level of filters and the mean-chemical-potential of low-temperature reservoirs can be optimized to maximize power and efficiency.On the basis of power and efficiency analyses,performance characteristics under different objective functions,including efficient power and ecological function,are discussed and the corresponding optimal performance regions are obtained.The relationship between the entropy generation rate and the efficiency is investigated,and it is shown that the minimum-entropy-generation-state does not coincide with the maximum-efficiency-state. | QIU SuSu DING ZeMin CHEN LinGen GE YanLin | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,8: | 2 |

| 4 | Mefatinib as first-line treatment of patients with advanced EGFR-mutant non-small-cell lung cancer:a phase Ib/II efficacy and biomarker study显示文摘EGFR inhibitors have revolutionized the treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Mefatinib is a novel,bioavailable,second-generation,irreversible pan-EGFR inhibitor.This phase Ib/II open-label,single-arm,multi-center study investigated the efficacy,safety,biomarker,and resistance mechanisms of mefatinib in the first-line treatment of patients with advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC.This study included 106 patients with EGFR-mutant stage IIIB-IV NSCLC who received first-line mefatinib at a daily dose of either 60 mg(n=51)or 80 mg(n=55).The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS).Secondary endpoints were overall response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),and safety.The cohort achieved an ORR of 84.9%and DCR of 97.2%.The median PFS was 15.4 months and the median OS was 31.6 months.Brain metastasis was detected in 29%of patients(n=31)at diagnosis and demonstrated an ORR of 87.1%,PFS of 12.8 months,and OS of 25.2 months.Adverse events primarily involved skin and gastrointestinal toxicities,which were well-tolerated and manageable.Analyses of mutation profiles were performed using targeted sequencing of plasma samples at baseline,first follow-up 6 weeks from starting mefatinib therapy(F1),and at progression.Patients with concurrent TP53 mutations had comparable PFS as wild-type TP53(14.0 vs 15.4 months;p=0.315).Furthermore,circulating tumor DNA clearance was associated with longer PFS(p=0.040)and OS(p=0.002).EGFR T790M was the predominant molecular mechanism of mefatinib resistance(42.1%,16/38).First-line mefatinib provides durable PFS and an acceptable toxicity profile in patients with advanced EGFR-mutant NSCLC. | Pingli Wang Yuping Li Dongqing Lv Lingge Yang Liren Ding Jianya Zhou Wei Hong Youfei Chen Dongqing Zhang Susu He Jianying Zhou Kai Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12: | 1 |
| 5 | Analysis on Results of Test and Supervision for Oxidative Hair Dyes Samples in Yangzhou from 2013 to 2018显示文摘According to Hygienic Standard for Cosmetics (2007 Edition) and Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (2015 Edition), Oxidative Hair Dyes were supervised and inspected in Yangzhou from 2013 to 2018. P-Phenylenediamine and other 6 kinds of components from 85 batches of samples were determined and analyzed by HPLC. Only one batch of samples had not passed test, o-Phenylenediamine was detected that should be prohibited in hair dyes.
