The role of provenance in the diagenesis of siliciclastic reservoirs in the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation,Ordos Basin,China显示文摘A better understanding of the controls on reservoir quality has become essential in the petroleum exploration in recent years.Determining the original composition of the sediment framework is important not only for paleogeographic reconstructions, but it is also vital for predicting the nature of physical and chemical diagenesis of the potential reservoirs.Depositional setting and diagenesis are important factors in controlling the type and quality of most siliciclastic reservoirs. We studied the Upper Triassic Chang 8 and 6 members, where the relationship between sediment provenance and diagenesis was examined. The study attempts to clarify sediment provenance and post-depositional diagenetic modifications of the sandstones through systematic analytical methods including petrographic macro-and microscopic analysis of grain and heavy mineral types, and measurements of the palaeocurrent direction of the Yanchang Formation sediments in the outcrops in order to determine the provenance of the studied sediments.Furthermore, the relationship between framework grains, pore types and diagenesis of the sediments was analyzed by thin section petrographic characterization using a polarizing microscope.Additionally,a JEOL JSM-T330 scanning electron microscope(SEM) equipped with a digital imaging system was used to investigate the habits and textural relationships of diagenetic minerals. On the basis of our results,we believe that sediment provenance is a significant factor which controls the type and degree of diagenesis which may be expected in sandstones. In the Chang 8 and 6 members, the formation of chlorite rims and laumontite cement was observed where volcanic rock fragments constitute a large part of the framework grains.Furthermore, high biotite content provides abundant iron and magnesium and enables the formation of chlorite rims due to biotite hydrolysis. In addition, ductile deformation of biotite leads to strong mechanical compaction of the sediments.Conversely, high feldspar content diminishes the degree of mechanical compaction, however the dissolution of feldspar minerals in sandstones is commonly observed.Apart from feldspars, quartz and other rigid framework grains highly control the degree of mechanical compaction during the initial stage of burial(0-2 km). | Ding Xiaoqi Han Meimei Zhang Shaonan | 2013 | Petroleum Science2013,10,2: | 16

Red blood cell membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles loaded with AIEgen and Poly(I: C) for enhanced tumoral photodynamic-immunotherapy显示文摘Red blood cell(RBC)-mimicking nanoparticles(NPs) offer a promising platform for drug delivery because of their prolonged circulation time, reduced immunogenicity and specific targeting ability. Herein, we report the design and preparation of RBC membrane-bound NPs(M@AP), for tumoral photodynamic-immunotherapy. The M@AP is formed by self-assembly of the positively charged aggregation-induced emission luminogen(AIEgen)(named P2-PPh3) and the negatively charged polyinosinic : polycytidylic acid(Poly(I : C)), followed by RBC membrane encapsulation. P2-PPh3 is an AIE-active conjugated polyelectrolyte with additional photosensitizing ability for photodynamic therapy(PDT), while Poly(I : C) serves as an immune-stimulant to stimulate both tumor and immune cells to activate immunity, and thus reduces tumor cell viability. When applied in tumor-bearing mice, the M@AP NPs are enriched in both the tumor region as a result of an enhanced permeability and retention(EPR)effect, and the spleen because of the homing effect of the RBC-mimicking shell. Upon light irradiation,P2-PPh3 promotes strong ROS generation in tumor cells, inducing the release of tumor antigens(TA). The anti-tumor immunity is further enhanced by the presence of Poly(I : C) in M@AP. Thus, this strategy combines the PDT properties of the AIE-active polyelectrolyte and immunotherapy properties of Poly(I : C) to achieve synergistic activation of the immune system for anti-tumor activity, providing a novel strategy for tumor treatment. | Jun Dai Meng Wu Quan Wang Siyang Ding Xiaoqi Dong Liru Xue Qingqing Zhu Jian Zhou Fan Xia Shixuan Wang Yuning Hong | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,6: | 1

Reservoir formation mechanism analysis and deep high-quality reservoir prediction in Yingcheng Formation in Longfengshan area of Songliao Basin, China显示文摘Although commercial gas flow was produced in several wells with recent years'exploration of Longfengshan area in Changling fault sag,the formation mechanism and controlling factors for high-quality reservoirs still remained undefined. Here, the Yingcheng tight gas reservoirs of Longfengshan area are used as an example to characterize high-quality reservoir formation mechanism and distribution rules.Based on the thin section,SEM,X-ray diffraction, computed tomography(CT)scanning, burial history,constant-rate mercury penetration and physical properties testing, formation mechanism and controlling factors for high-quality reservoirs were analyzed. Results show the following characteristics.First, the reservoir is dominated by chlorite and laumontite cements, and compaction is the most important factor to control reservoir physical properties.According to this, the reservoir can be divided into compacted tight sandstones,chlorite-cemented sandstones and laumontite-cemented sandstones.Second, the high-quality reservoirs are formed due to early extensive laumontite precipitation and the later dissolution of laumontite by organic acid.Meanwhile,it is found that the distribution of cementation and dissolution exhibits some regulations in sedimentary facies, and the distribution is mainly effected and controlled by the lake water and charging of fresh water.Besides, the distribution model of various types of sandstones was established.Studies over diagenesis and sedimentary facies reveal that the high-quality laumontite-cemented sandstones exist in the outside subaqueous fan-delta of the deep sag in Longfengshan area. These findings have been validated by recent exploration wells which obtained high industrial gas flow. | Yongmei Zhang Xiaoqi Ding Peng Yang Yan Liu Qi Jiang Shaonan Zhang | 2016 | Petroleum2016,2,4: | 1

Cathepsin B inhibitors block multiple radiation-induced side effects in C. elegans显示文摘Dear Editor,Radiotherapy(RT)is one of the major treatments for cancer patients, but its application in cancer therapy has been limited due to deleterious side effects caused by radiation,1 which include dry mouth, fatigue, nausea, skin irritation, low blood cell counts, and infertility. These side effects, also called radiation-induced bystander effects(RIBE),are caused by factors released from irradiated cells or tissues, which can act either short-or long-range to impact nearby or distant unexposed cells and tissues to induce genomic instability, stress response, and altered cell proliferation or death.2 RIBE thus is a critical factor in determining the efficacy and success of RT in cancer treatment and a major safety concern to people with occupational exposure to radiation, such as aircrew members, medical workers, and laboratory researchers.1,2 There is no effective way to prevent adverse side effects caused by radiation and RT.This has been a longstanding medical issue that demands an urgent solution1. | Lingjun Zheng Xiaoqi Wu Shanshan Li Bin Liu Ding Xue | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,12: | 1
Reducing water and nitrogen inputs combined with plastic mulched ridge-furrow irrigation improves soil water and salt status in arid saline areas,China显示文摘Plastic mulched ridge-furrow irrigation is a useful method to improve crop productivity and decrease salt accumulation in arid saline areas. However, inappropriate irrigation and fertilizer practices may result in ecological and environmental problems. In order to improve the resource use efficiency in these areas,we investigated the effects of different irrigation amounts(400(I1),300(I2)and 200(I3)mm)and nitrogen application rates(300(F1)and 150(F2)kg N/hm^(2))on water consumption, salt variation and resource use efficiency of spring maize(Zea mays L.)in the Hetao Irrigation District(HID)of Northwest China in 2017 and 2018.Result showed that soil water contents were 0.2%-8.9%and 13.9%-18.1%lower for I2 and I3 than for I1,respectively,but that was slightly higher for F2 than for F1.Soil salt contents were 7.8%-23.5%and 48.5%-48.9%lower for I2 than for I1 and I3,but that was 1.6%-5.5%higher for F1 than for F2.Less salt leaching at the early growth stage(from sowing to six-leaf stage)and higher salt accumulation at the peak growth stage(from six-leaf to tasseling stage and from grain-filling to maturity stage)resulted in a higher soil salt content for I3 than for I1 and I2.Grain yields for I1 and I2 were significantly higher than that for I3 and irrigation water use efficiency for I2 was 14.7%-34.0%higher than that for I1.Compared with F1,F2 increased the partial factor productivity(PFP)of nitrogen fertilizer by more than 80%.PFP was not significantly different between I1F2 and I2F2,but significantly higher than those of other treatments.Considering the goal of saving water and nitrogen resources, and ensuring food security,we recommended the combination of I2F2 to ensure the sustainable development of agriculture in the HID and other similar arid saline areas. | LI Cheng WANG Qingsong LUO Shuai QUAN Hao WANG Naijiang LUO Xiaoqi ZHANG Tibin DING Dianyuan DONG Qin'ge FENG Hao | 2021 | Journal of Arid Land2021,13,8: | 0

The effect of thermal fluid derived from mud diapir on sandstone reservoirs in the Yinggehai Basin, South China Sea显示文摘The underground thermal fluid is one of the significant factors controlling the formation and quality of reservoirs. The Huangliu Formation(N_(1)h)in YF1 area of the central depression belt in the Yinggehai Basin,South China Sea,is characterized by intense thermal fluid activities related to mud diapir and large-scale shallow-water gravity flow deposits. The multi-episodic invasion of high-temperature and CO_(2)-rich thermal fluid into the formation induces complex water-rock reaction during diagenetic pro-cess,providing a preferable investigation opportunity for revealing how thermal fluid affects reservoir quality. This study characterizes the reservoirs in the formation through core and thin section analyses as well as physical property test. The reservoirs are dominated by fine-grained sandstone characterized by medium porosity(15.2-21.3%)and lower permeability(0.56-15.75mD).Based on an analysis of casting thin section, cathode luminescence(CL),scanning electron microscope(SEM),carbon and oxygen isotope, inclusion test, and electron-probe microanalysis(EPMA),we systematically investigate the diagenetic patterns and pore evolution process for the reservoirs in the formation. The episodic invasion of thermal fluid occurred approximately 0.4 Ma ago plays an important role in controlling reservoir development:The CO_(2)-rich formation water induces massive late-stage dissolution, resulting in a higher proportion of dissolved pores(38.7-46.4%),which improves the porosity of reservoirs at a depth of 2600-3100 m.Nevertheless, the late dissolution together with carbonate cementation occurred in closed diagenetic system blocks most seepage channels.Furthermore, the relatively high level clay mineral transformation in the YF1 area leads to a higher content of authigenic illite(44-62%)in the formation.Massive authigenic illite severely blocks the pore throats in fine sandstone, reducing permeability. This study offers an insight to the understanding of mud diapir-derived thermal fluid affecting and controlling the quality of reservoirs in some areas of the Yinggehai Basin. | Xiaowei Lv Meiyan Fu Shaonan Zhang Yi Liu Xiaoqi Ding Xianghao Meng Shuai Yin Tengjiao Sun | 2022 | Energy Geoscience2022,3,4: | 0
