| 1 | Preparation and hydrogen gas sensitive characteristics of highly ordered titania nanotube arrays显示文摘In this paper, we report the growth and characteristics of titania nanotube arrays prepared by anodic oxidation and then annealed in an oxygen atmosphere at 500℃. The titania nanotube arrays presented high sensitivity to hydrogen gas. The crystalline phase of the samples was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The differences in the nanotubes morphology attributed to the etched samples due to anodiza- tion potential, reaction time and the electrolyte concentration were analyzed by scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM). | 2 | Experimental and numerical study on fretting wear and fatigue of full-scale railway axles显示文摘This study investigated the fretting wear and fatigue of full-scale railway axles.Fatigue tests were conducted on full-scale railway axles,and the fretting wear and fretting fatigue in the fretted zone of the railway axles were analysed.Three-dimensional finite element models were established based on the experimental results.Then,multi-axial fatigue parameters and a linear elastic fracture mechanics-based approach were used to investigate the fretting fatigue crack initiation and propagation,respectively,in which the role of the fretting wear was taken into account.The experimental and simulated results showed that the fretted zone could be divided into zones I-III according to the surface damage morphologies.Fretting wear alleviated the stress concentration near the wheel seat edge and resulted in a new stress concentration near the worn/unworn boundary in zone II,which greatly promoted the fretting crack initiation at the inner side of the fretted zone.Meanwhile,the stress concentration also increased the equivalent stress intensity factor range DKeq below the mating surface,and thus promoted the propagation of fretting fatigue crack.Based on these findings,the effect of the stress redistribution resulting from fretting wear is suggested to be taken into account when evaluating the fretting fatigue in railway axles. | Lang Zou Dongfang Zeng Yabo Li Kai Yang Liantao Lu Caiqin Yuan | 2020 | Railway Engineering Science2020,28,4: | 7 |

| 7 | Chain-shattering Pt(IV)-backboned polymeric nanoplatform for efficient CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to enhance synergistic cancer therapy显示文摘CRISPR/Cas9 system has become a promising gene editing tool for cancer treatment.However,development of a simple and effective nanocarrier to incorporate CRISPR/Cas9 system and chemotherapeutic drugs to concurrently tackle the biological safety and packaging capacity of viral vectors and combine gene editing-chemo for cancer therapy still remains challenges.Herein,a chain-shattering Pt(IV)-backboned polymeric nanoplatform is developed for the delivery of EZH2-targeted CRISPR/Cas9 system(NPCSPt/pEZH2)and synergistic treatment of prostate cancer.The pEZH2/Pt(II)could be effectively triggered to unpack/release from NPCSPt/pEZH2 in a chain-shattering manner in cancer cells.The EZH2 gene disruption efficiency could be achieved up to 32.2%of PC-3 cells in vitro and 21.3%of tumor tissues in vivo,leading to effective suppression of EZH2 protein expression.Moreover,significant H3K27me3 downregulation could occur after EZH2 suppression,resulting in a more permissive chromatin structure that increases the accessibility of released Pt(II)to nuclear DNA for enhanced apoptosis.Taken together,substantial proliferation inhibition of prostate cancer cells and further 85.4%growth repression against subcutaneous xenograft tumor could be achieved.This chain-shattering Pt(IV)-backboned polymeric nanoplatform system not only provides a prospective nanocarrier for CRISPR/Cas9 system delivery,but also broadens the potential of combining gene editing-chemo synergistic cancer therapy. | Qingfei Zhang Gaizhen Kuang Shasha He Sha Liu Hongtong Lu Xiaoyuan Li Dongfang Zhou Yubin Huang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 1 |

| 11 | Ultrasound application in alkaline pretreatment process of spodumene to improve particle floatability显示文摘Selective surface dissolution was found to be important in spodumene flotation. In this study, we proposed to introduce ultrasound into the pretreatment process to accelerate particle vibration and cavitation, as well as the migration of mineral surface components to solution. Micro-flotation results showed that the flotation recovery of spodumene can be 86.08% by ultrasound pretreatment, but only 39.30% by traditional mechanical agitation pretreatment. Compared with traditional mechanical agitation, ultrasonic pretreatment can shorten the pretreatment process, reduce the dosage of agents, reduce the mechanical agitation speed, and improve the efficiency of the pretreating process. Inductively coupled plasma analysis showed that, in the ultrasonic system, the amount of Li, Al, and Si species in the solution was twice as much as those in the traditional preprocessing system. Moreover, the scanning electron microscope results demonstrated a larger surface dissolution area in the ultrasonic system. In order to reveal the inhibition effect and synergistic effect of prochloraz and tebuconazole and their mixture on F. graminearum,new compound agents for controlling wheat scab were developed. The inhibition effect and synergistic effect of prochloraz and tebuconazole mixed at seven different ratios on F. graminearum were studied. The results showed that the efficiency of the mixture was the best when the proportion of prochloraz and tebuconazole was 1:7; the EC50 was 0.145 36 and the synergistic coefficient was 1.853 9. | 18 | Aptamer based fluorescent probe for serum HER2-ECD detection: The clinical utility in breast cancer显示文摘The transmembrane protein HER2 is overexpressed in approximately 30% of breast cancer patients.HER2-positive breast cancers tend to spread more aggressively, which result in increased mortality in women. Nowadays, the real-time monitoring of HER2 status is important in clinical diagnosis and treatment for HER2-positive patients. Although IHC and FISH assay are standard methods to evaluate the tissue HER2 status, both approaches which required high quality tissue samples and are not suitable for monitoring the status of HER2 in real time. Since extracellular domain(ECD) of the HER2 receptor can be shed into the circulation, the serum test of HER2 ECD has been developed as an additional approach to probe HER2 overexpression. The serum test will be able to monitor the dynamic changes of HER2 status.In this paper, we detected serum HER2 ECD using Cy5-labeled HB5 aptamer as a result of its specific binding ability to HER2 ECD. This aptamer-based fluorescent probe is easily synthesized and modified and as sensitive as anti-HER2 antibodies.
