2Complex sources of air-soil-water pollution processes in the Miyun reservoir region显示文摘The comprehensive impact of atmospheric dry deposition and wet deposition and the pollution sources of farmlands, mining areas, and towns along the Baihe River on the water quality of Miyun reservoir is investigated from the angle of the complex sources of air-soil-water pollution processes, in the context of the 1990-2001 precipitation chemical data at Shangdianzi station--a WMO regional background air pollution monitoring station 15 km far from the Miyun reservoir, in conjunction with the atmospheric dry deposition and wet deposition data of the 2002-2003 Beijing City Air Pollution Observation Field Experiment (BECAPEX). Analysis results suggest that the major ions in precipitation in the Miyun reservoir region in this period were SO, NO, NH and Ca2+; wet acid deposition quantity of Miyun reservoir in the summer half year (April to September) was greater than the quantity in the winter half year (October to March), and the annual wet acid deposition in the reservoir exhibited a rising trend with the mean 1038.45 t, the maximum 1766.31 t occurred in 1996, and the minimum 604.02 t in 1994; the long-term averaged pH of atmospheric precipitation in the Miyun reservoir region was 5.20, i.e. weakly acidic, and the interannual variation of pH values displayed a falling trend. pH values of water body at various depths in the Miyun reservoir were all greater than 7.0, but they exhibited vertical and horizontal nonhomogeneity, and at the same region pH decreased vertically with depth; the 2002 and 2003 annual dustfalls in the Miyun reservoir were 13513.08 t and 3577.64 t, respectively, and the spring dustfall was the number one in a year, accounting for the 61.91% and 44.56% of the annual totals of 2002 and 2003, respectively. Because the atmospheric dry deposition and wet depositions contain multiple types heavy metal elements and harmful elements, they to some extent exacerbated the eutrophication, acidification and potential heavy metal pollution of the reservoir water. The above comprehensive analysis results reveal the complex source characters of the air-soil-water pollution process and the multi-sphere interaction effect. Besides, summer (rainy season) is a season when local soil pollutants enter the water system of reservoir after being washed out by torrential rain or heavy precipitation, which starts the air-soil- water chaining pollution processes, and results in the water pollution of rivers and reservoirs. It is found from the statistical analysis in this paper that the water pollution of Miyun reservoir was correlated with the rain wash-out and confluent flow in the peripheral and upstream local region of the reservoir, and the pollutant concentration of the reservoir water was significantly correlated with the upstream local region precipitation. Those correlation characters reveal the effect of the air-soil-water multi-spheric interaction of reservoir water pollution process. 3In-situ growth of gold nanoparticles on electrospun flexible multilayered PVDF nanofibers for SERS sensing of molecules and bacteria显示文摘Plasmonic surface of flexible multilayered nanofibers possesses special superiority for the surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)sensing of molecules and microbial cells.However,the fabrication of flexible plasmonic nanofibers with high sensitivity and reproducibility is difficult.Herein,we report a smart strategy for fabricating flexible plasmonic fibers,in which compact and homogeneous gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)are in-situ grown on the high-curvature surface of multilayered fibers of electrospun polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF).Firstly,the surface of PVDF fibers is changed electrically,and Au seeds are deposited on the surface of PVDF fibers using electrostatic driving force.Secondly,a stable AuI_(4)−complex is formed employing coordination between I−and AuCl4−ions,which could decrease the reduction potential of AuCl4−and restrain the self-nucleation,and then the reduction reaction of AuI4−is initiated by introducing PVDF@Au seeds to pull down the barrier of potential energy.Finally,in-situ growth of AuNPs is generated on the high-curvature surface of PVDF nanofibers,and large-scale hotspots are generated by adjacent AuNPs coupling in the three-dimensional(3D)space of multilayered fibers.Membrane of PVDF@Au nanofibers also realizes the sensitive detection of thiram molecules(low limit of detection of 0.1 nM)and good reproducibility(relative standard deviation of 10.6%).Meanwhile,due to the multilayered construction of PVDF@Au nanofibers,a valid SERS signal on 3D surface of bacteria could be generated.3D distribution of hotspots on multilayered PVDF@Au nanofibers gives a clear advantage for SERS sensing of organic molecules and microbial cells.Dongzhen Chen Liang Zhang Pan Ning Haozhi Yuan Yu Zhang Meng Zhang Tao Fu Xinhai He 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:3
4High power and energy generation in a Nd:YAG single-crystal fiber laser at 1834 nm显示文摘We report on a diode-end-pumped high-power and high-energy Nd:YAG single-crystal fiber laser at 1834 nm.Two 808 nm diodes injecting about 58 W pump power into the Nd:YAG fiber have generated 3.28 W continuouswave and 1.66 W Cr:ZnSe-based passively Q-switched lasers. Slope efficiencies with respect to pump powers are8.7% for the continuous-wave laser and 4.9% for the Q-switched laser. The extracted maximum pulse energy is about 266.9 μJ, and the corresponding maximum pulse peak power is 2.54 kW. These performances greatly surpass previous results regarding this specific laser emission because the laser gain medium in the form of fiber can significantly mitigate thermally induced power saturation thanks to its significantly reduced thermal lensing effect. 5Using bioprinting and spheroid culture to create a skin model with sweat glands and hair follicles显示文摘Background:Sweat glands(SGs)and hair follicles(HFs)are two important cutaneous appendages that play crucial roles in homeostatic maintenance and thermoregulation,and their interaction is involved in wound healing.SGs can be regenerated from mesenchymal stem cell-laden 3D bioprinted scaffolds,based on our previous studies,whereas regeneration of HFs could not be achieved in the same model.Due to the lack of an in vitro model,the underlying molecular mechanism of the interaction between SGs and HFs in regeneration could not be fully understood.The purpose of the present study was to establish an in vitro model of skin constructs with SGs and HFs and explore the interaction between these two appendages in regeneration.Methods:To investigate the interaction effects between SGs and HFs during their regeneration processes,a combined model was created by seeding HF spheroids on 3D printed SG scaffolds.The interaction between SG scaffolds and HF spheroids was detected using RNA expression and immunofluorescence staining.The effects of microenvironmental cues on SG and HF regeneration were analysed by altering seed cell types and plantar dermis homogenate in the scaffold.Results:According to this model,we overcame the difficulties in simultaneously inducing SG and HF regeneration and explored the interaction effects between SG scaffolds and HF spheroids.Surprisingly,HF spheroids promoted both SG and HF differentiation in SG scaffolds,while SG scaffolds promoted SG differentiation but had little effect on HF potency in HF spheroids.Specifically,microenvironmental factors(plantar dermis homogenate)in SG scaffolds effectively promoted SG and HF genesis in HF spheroids,no matter what the seed cell type in SG scaffolds was,and the promotion effects were persistent.Conclusions:Our approach elucidated a new model for SG and HF formation in vitro and provided an applicable platform to investigate the interaction between SGs and HFs in vitro.This platform might facilitate 3D skin constructs with multiple appendages and unveil the spatiotemporal molecular program of multiple appendage regeneration.Yijie Zhang Enhejirigala Bin Yao Zhao Li Wei Song Jianjun Li Dongzhen Zhu Yuzhen Wang Xianlan Duan Xingyu Yuan Sha Huang Xiaobing Fu 2021Burns & Trauma2021,9,1:2
6Vibration and acoustic radiation of bogie area under random excitation in high-speed trains显示文摘Based on the experiments on a platform with real vehicle structure and finite element simulation, the vibration and interior acoustic radiation under random excitations of high-speed trains’ bogie area were studied. Firstly, combined with line tests, a vehicle body with a length of 7 m was used as the research object. By comparing the results of experiment and simulation, the accuracy of the finite element model was verified. Secondly, the power spectral density curves at typical measuring points in bogie area were obtained by processing and calculating the line test data, which was measured when the vehicle ran at high speeds, and the standard vibration spectrum of the bogie area was obtained by the extreme envelope method. Furthermore, the random vibration test and simulation prediction analysis of the real vehicle structure were carried out to further verify the accuracy of the noise and vibration prediction model. Finally, according to the vibration and acoustic radiation theory, the indirect boundary element method was adopted to predict the acoustic response of the real vehicle. 7Modeling human hypertrophic scars with 3D preformed cellular aggregates bioprinting显示文摘The therapeutic interventions of human hypertrophic scars(HHS)remain puzzle largely due to the lack of accepted models.Current HHS models are limited by their inability to mimic native scar architecture and associated pathological microenvironments.Here,we create a 3D functional HHS model by preformed cellular aggregates(PCA)bioprinting,firstly developing bioink from scar decellularized extracellular matrix(ECM)and alginate-gelatin(Alg-Gel)hydrogel with suitable physical properties to mimic the microenvironmental factors,then pre-culturing patient-derived fibroblasts in this bioink to preform the topographic cellular aggregates for sequent printing.We confirm the cell aggregates preformed in bioink displayed well defined aligned structure and formed functional scar tissue self-organization after bioprinting,hence showing the potential of creating HHS models.Notably,these HHS models exhibit characteristics of early-stage HHS in gene and protein expression,which significantly activated signaling pathway related to inflammation and cell proliferation,and recapitulate in vivo tissue dynamics of scar forming.We also use the in vitro and in vivo models to define the clinically observed effects to treatment with concurrent anti-scarring drugs,and the data show that it can be used to evaluate the potential therapeutic target for drug testing.The ideal humanized scar models we present should prove useful for studying critical mechanisms underlying HHS and to rapidly test new drug targets and develop patient-specific optimal therapeutic strategies in the future.Yao Bin Zhu Dongzhen Cui Xiaoli Enhe jirigala Song Wei Li Zhao Hu Tian Zhu Ping Li Jianjun Wang Yuzhen Zhang Yijie Fu Xiaobing Huang Sha 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2
8Vertical and horizontal displacements of a reservoir slope due to slope aging effect,rainfall,and reservoir water显示文摘Landslides are common hazards in reservoir areas and significantly affect dam operation and human lives.For the prevention and management of landslides,accurate assessment of the factors influencing their generation is essential.This study evaluated the key external factors influencing horizontal and vertical displacements of Luobogang Reservoir Slope in Hanyuan County,China.Displacements had been monitored by a surface-displacement-monitoring system consisting of 118 GPS stations during 2012-2015.To identify the external driving factors,their influence zones,and slope responses,we analyzed 32 months of displacement measurements and other multi-source datasets using the empirical orthogonal function.Overall,the results show that slope aging effect,rainfall,and reservoir water levels are three main driving factors.For horizontal displacement,aging effect is the most critical factor and predominantly affects the edges of landslides,the gob cave,and the public building zones.The secondary factor is the reservoir water level,which mainly acts on the boundary between the slope and reservoir water surface.The closer the slope zone is to the reservoir water,the more significant the impact is.Regarding vertical displacement,the most important factor is rainfall.The vertical displacement caused by rainfall accounts for 56.76% of the total vertical displacements.However,rainfall induces elastic displacements that generally cause less damage to the slope.The secondary factor is aging effect,and the vertical displacement caused by aging effect accounts for 9.42%.However,seven individual zones are highly affected by slope aging effect,which is consistent with the distribution of public buildings.Dongzhen Jia Ye Zhou Xiufeng He Nan Xu Zhixiang Yang Minfeng Song 2021Geodesy and Geodynamics2021,12,4:1

10Engineering hollow core-shell hetero-structure box to induce interfacial charge modulation for promoting bidirectional sulfur conversion in lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Severe polysulfide shuttling and sluggish sulfur redox kinetics significantly decrease sulfur utilization and cycling stability in lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).Herein,we develop a hollow CoO/CoP-Box core-shell heterostructure as a model and multifunctional catalyst modified on separators to induce interfacial charge modulation and expose more active sites for promoting the adsorption and catalytic conversion ability of sulfur species.Theoretical and experimental findings verify that the in-situ formed core-shell hetero-interface induces the formation of P-Co-O binding and charge redistribution to activate surface O active sites for binding lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)via strong Li-O bonding,thus strongly adsorbing with Li PSs.Meanwhile,the strong Li-O bonding weakens the competing Li-S bonding in LiPSs or Li2S adsorbed on CoO/CoP-Box surface,plus the hollow heterostructure provides abundant active sites and fast electron/Li+transfer,so reducing Li2S nucleation/dissolution activation energy.As expected,LSBs with CoO/CoP-Box modified separator and traditional sulfur/carbon black cathode display a large initial capacity of 1240 mA h g^(-1)and a long cycling stability with 300 cycles(~60.1%capacity retention)at 0.5C.Impressively,the thick sulfur cathode(sulfur loading:5.2 mg cm^(-2))displays a high initial areal capacity of 6.9 mA h cm^(-2).This work verifies a deep mechanism understanding and an effective strategy to induce interfacial charge modulation and enhance active sites for designing efficient dual-directional Li-S catalysts via engineering hollow core-shell hetero-structure.Weiliang Zhou Xinying Wang Jiongwei Shan Liguo Yue Dongzhen Lu Li Chen Jiacheng Zhang Yunyong Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:1

13Ultra-thick,dense dual-encapsulated Sb anode architecture with conductively elastic networks promises potassium-ion batteries with high areal and volumetric capacities显示文摘Ultra-thick,dense alloy-type anodes are promising for achieving large areal and volumetric performance in potassium-ion batteries(PIBs),but severe volume expansion as well as sluggish ion and electron diffusion kinetics heavily impede their widespread application.Herein,we design highly dense(3.1 g cm^(-3))Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene and graphene dual-encapsulated nano-Sb monolith architectures(HD-Sb@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-G)with high-conductivity elastic networks(1560 S m^(-1))and compact dually encapsulated structures,which exhibit a large volumetric capacity of 1780.2 mAh cm^(-3)(gravimetric capacity:565.0 mAh g^(-1)),a long-term stable lifespan of 500 cycles with 82%retention,and a large areal capacity of 8.6 mAh cm^(-2)(loading:31 mg cm^(-2))in PIBs.Using ex-situ SEM,in-situ TEM,kinetic investigations,and theoretical calculations,we reveal that the excellent areal and volumetric performance mechanism stems from the three dimensional(3D)high-conductivity elastic networks and the dualencapsulated Sb architecture of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and graphene;these effectively mitigate against volume expansion and the pulverization of Sb,offering good electrolyte penetration and rapid ionic/electronic transmission.Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) also decreases the Kþdiffusion energy barrier,and the ultra-thick compact electrode ensures volumetric and areal performance.These findings provide a feasible strategy for fabricating ultra-thick,dense alloy-type electrodes to achieve high areal and volumetric capacity energy storage via highly-dense,dual-encapsulated architectures with conductive elastic networks.Zhonggang Liu Xi Liu Bingchun Wang Xinying Wang Dongzhen Lu Dijun Shen Zhefei Sun Yongchang Liu Wenli Zhang Qiaobao Zhang Yunyong Li 2023eScience2023,3,6:0
14Coastal bathymetry inversion using SAR-based altimetric gravity data:A case study over the South Sandwich Island显示文摘The global bathymetry models are usually of low accuracy over the coastline of polar areas due to the harsh climatic environment and the complex topography.Satellite altimetric gravity data can be a supplement and plays a key role in bathymetry modeling over these regions.The Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)altimeters in the missions like CryoSat-2 and Sentinel-3A/3B can relieve waveform contamination that existed in conventional altimeters and provide data with improved accuracy and spatial resolution.In this study,we investigate the potential application of SAR altimetric gravity data in enhancing coastal bathymetry,where the effects on local bathymetry modeling introduced from SAR altimetry data are quantified and evaluated.Furthermore,we study the effects on bathymetry modeling by using different scale factor calculation approaches,where a partition-wise scheme is implemented.The numerical experiment over the South Sandwich Islands near Antarctica suggests that using SARbased altimetric gravity data improves local coastal bathymetry modeling,compared with the model calculated without SAR altimetry data by a magnitude of 3:55 m within 10 km of offshore areas.Moreover,by using the partition-wise scheme for scale factor calculation,the quality of the coastal bathymetry model is improved by 7.34 m compared with the result derived from the traditional method.These results indicate the superiority of using SAR altimetry data in coastal bathymetry inversion.Yihao Wu Junjie Wang Xiufeng He Yunlong Wu Dongzhen Jia Yueqian Shen 2023Geodesy and Geodynamics2023,14,3:0
15Geodetic monitoring of the Changbaishan volcano activity and its relationship with earthquakes,1999-2017显示文摘The major earthquakes often trigger unrest of surrounding volcanic magma chambers.In recent years,three major earthquakes occurred around the Changbaishan volcano,but it was unclear whether these earthquakes triggered the unrest of the magma chamber.Based on geodetic data,we analyzed the volcanic activity according to the Global Position System(GPS)and leveling sites time-series and reestimated the location and volume change of magma chamber from 2002 to 2005.Meanwhile,we calculated the dilatational strain variations of the deep magma chamber resulting from coseismic deformations caused by the 1999 Mw7.0 and 2002 Mw7.3 Wangqing deep earthquakes and the 2011 Mw9.0 Tohoku-oki earthquake.Our results show:(1)Changbaishan has experienced four stages of unrest since 1999,and the biggest unrest of the shallow magma chamber occurred from 2002 to 2005;(2)the parameters of the shallow magma chamber simulated by the Mogi and Point Compound Dislocation Model(p DCM)show that the magma chamber is located in the northern part of the crater,with a depth of approximately 7 km.The volume of the magma chamber increased by 25-28×10^(6) m from 2002 to2005;(3)the strain variation beneath the Changbaishan volcano corresponding to the 1999 Wangqing earthquake was small.The 2002 Wangqing earthquake produced an expansion strain of about 4.4 nanostrain on the magma chamber at a depth of 550 km,and probably promoted the unrest of the Changbaishan volcano.The 2011 Tohoku earthquake induced the expansion of the shallow magma chamber and compression of the deep magma chamber.Although this event promoted shallow magma unrest,it inhibited deep magma unrest.This may explain why the Changbaishan did not show obvious unrest after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.Therefore,more attention should be paid to earthquakes that can promote deep magma unrest in the Changbaishan volcano.Dongzhen Wang Bin Zhao Dongyang Liu Jiansheng Yu Feng Guo 2021Geodesy and Geodynamics2021,12,4:0
16Odorant-binding protein 19 in Monochamus alternatus involved in the recognition of a volatile strongly emitted from ovipositing host pines显示文摘Monochamus alternatus is the primary carrier of pine wood nematodes,which pose a serious threat to Pinus spp.in many countries.Newly emerging M.alternatus adults feed on heathy host pines,while matured adults transfer to stressed host pines for mating and oviposition.Several odorant-binding proteins(OBPs)of M.alternatus have been proved to aid in the complex process of host location.To clarify the corresponding relations between OBPs and pine volatiles,more OBPs need to be studied.In this research,MaltOBP19 showed a specific expression in the antennae and mouthparts of M.alternatus,and it was marked in 4 types of antenna sensilla by immunolocalization.Fluorescence binding assays demonstrated the high binding affinity of MaltOBP19 with camphene and myrcene in vitro.In Y-tube olfactory experiments,M.alternatus adults were attracted by camphene and RNAi of OBP19 via microinjection significantly decreased their attraction index.Myrcene induced phobotaxis,but RNAi had no significant effect on this behavior.Further,we found that ingesting dsOBP19 produced by a bacteria-expressed system with a newly constructed vector could lead to the knockdown of MaltOBP19.These results suggest that MaltOBP19 may play a role in the process of host conversion via the recognition of camphene,which has been identified to be strongly released in stressed host pines.In addition,it is proved that knockdown of OBP can be achieved by oral administration of bacteria-expressed double-stranded RNA in M.alternatus adults,providing a new perspective in the control of M.alternatus.Ruinan Yang Dongzhen Li Shancheng Yi Yi Wei Manqun Wang 2024Insect Science2024,31,1:0
17Effects of theophylline/chitosan/β-cyclodextrin microspheres for oral drug delivery on an asthmatic rat model显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to investigate the effects of TH/CTS/β-CD microspheres by oral administration on ovalbumin allergic asthma of a rat model.Methods:Spray drying method was applied for preparing the TH/CTS/β-CD microspheres,which were used in treatment of asthmatic rats.At a predetermined time,the levels of eosinophil(Eos),protein,lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),aspartate transaminase(AST),glutamic pyruvic transaminase(GPT),and creatinine(Cr)were ascertained by automatic hematology and biochemical analyzers.Lung tissue histology was performed by hematoxylin-eosin staining.Results:No significant differences were found about the contents of Eos in the blood,and the contents of Eos,protein and LDH in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid between the microsphere-treated and dexamethasone-treated groups,but the levels were lower in both treated groups than in the model group.In the microsphere-treated group,the levels of Cr,AST,and GPT in the serum of rats showed no significant differences compared with the normal group.Based on lung histopathological findings,the microspheres attenuated inflammatory cell infiltration and mucus hypersecretion compared with the model group.Conclusion:This study demonstrated that TH/CTS/β-CD microspheres exerted an anti-inflammatory effect and could serve as a novel promising drug delivery system for asthma treatment.Saisai Wang Haijing Zhang Xiaoming Cui Liping Zhao Mingxia Jiang Zhilu Xu Dongzhen Mu Weifen Zhang 2020TMR Modern Herbal Medicine2020,3,2:0
