1Linking atmospheric pollution to cryospheric change in the Third Pole region: current progress and future prospects显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau and its surroundings are known as the Third Pole(TP). This region is noted for its high rates of glacier melt and the associated hydrological shifts that affect water supplies in Asia. Atmospheric pollutants contribute to climatic and cryospheric changes through their effects on solar radiation and the albedos of snow and ice surfaces; moreover, the behavior and fates within the cryosphere and environmental impacts of environmental pollutants are topics of increasing concern. In this review, we introduce a coordinated monitoring and research framework and network to link atmospheric pollution and cryospheric changes(APCC) within the TP region. We then provide an up-to-date summary of progress and achievements related to the APCC research framework, including aspects of atmospheric pollution’s composition and concentration, spatial and temporal variations, trans-boundary transport pathways and mechanisms, and effects on the warming of atmosphere and changing in Indian monsoon, as well as melting of glacier and snow cover. We highlight that exogenous air pollutants can enter into the TP’s environments and cause great impacts on regional climatic and environmental changes. At last, we propose future research priorities and map out an extended program at the global scale. 2Re-Os isotope dating of molybdenites in the Huang-shaping Pb-Zn-W-Mo polymetallic deposit, Hunan Province, South China and its geological significance显示文摘The large-scale Huangshaping Pb-Zn-W-Mo polymetallic deposit is located in the central Nanling min- eralization zone, South China. Six molybdenite samples from the Huangshaping deposit were selected for Re-Os isotope measurement in order to define the mineralization age of the deposit. It yields a Re-Os isochron age of 154.8±1.9 Ma (2σ ), which is in accordance with the Re-Os model ages of 150.9― 156.9 Ma. This age is about 7 Ma younger than their host granite porphyry, which was dated as 161.6±1.1 Ma by zircon U-Pb method using LA-ICPMS. All these ages demonstrate that the Huang- shaping granite and related Pb-Zn-W-Mo deposit occurred in the middle Yanshanian period, when many other granitoid and related ore deposits emplaced and formed, e.g. the Qitianling granite and Furong tin deposit, the Qianlishan granite and giant Shizhuyuan W-Sn-Mo-Bi deposit and Jinchuantang Sn-Bi deposit in the nearby area. They constitute the main part of the magmatic-metallogenic belt of southern Hunan, and represent the large-scale metallogeny in middle Yanshanian in the area. 3A putative bHLH transcription factor is a candidate gene for male sterile 32,a locus affecting pollen and tapetum development in tomato显示文摘The tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)male sterile 32(ms32)mutant has been used in hybrid seed breeding programs largely because it produces no pollen and has exserted stigmas.In this study,histological examination of anthers revealed dysfunctional pollen and tapetum development in the ms32 mutant.The ms32 locus was fine mapped to a 28.5 kb interval that encoded four putative genes.Solyc01g081100,a homolog of Arabidopsis bHLH10/89/90 and rice EAT1,was proposed to be the candidate gene of MS32 because it contained a single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)that led to the formation of a premature stop codon.A codominant derived cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence(dCAPS)marker,MS32D,was developed based on the SNP.Real-time quantitative reverse-transcription PCR showed that most of the genes,which were proposed to be involved in pollen and tapetum development in tomato,were downregulated in the ms32 mutant.These findings may aid in marker-assisted selection of ms32 in hybrid breeding programs and facilitate studies on the regulatory mechanisms of pollen and tapetum development in tomato.Xiaoyan Liu Mengxia Yang Xiaolin Liu Kai Wei Xue Cao Xiaotian Wang Xiaoxuan Wang Yanmei Guo Yongchen Du Junming Li Lei Liu Jinshuai Shu Yong Qin Zejun Huang 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3

6Age-related Resistance and the Defense Signaling Pathway of Ph-3 Gene Against Phytophthora infestans in Tomatoes显示文摘Resistance(R) genes against plant pathogens often have age-related resistance(ARR) effects. However, the mechanism involved in this phenomenon remains unknown. In this paper, Solanum lycopersicum ‘CLN2037B' and S. pimpinellifolium ‘L3708' harboring the Ph-3 gene, as well as S. habrochaites ‘LA2099', ‘LA1777' and ‘LA1033' harboring quantitative trait loci(QTLs), were tested to investigate age-related resistance against late blight(LB; caused by Phytophthora infestans) in the three-leaf stage of the plants. The results demonstrated that the QTL-related LB resistance showed the same age-related resistance as the Ph-3-mediated resistance at the six- and nine-leaf stages compared with the three-leaf stage. This indicated that there is a common defense mechanism in tomatoes against P. infestans via ARR. In addition, we combined ethylene(ET), salicylic acid(SA) and jasmonic acid(JA) mutants with virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS) to study the Ph-3-dependent resistance signaling pathway. 10OBV(obscure vein),a C_(2)H_(2)zinc finger transcription factor,positively regulates chloroplast development and bundle sheath extension formation in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)leaf veins显示文摘Leaf veins play an important role in plant growth and development,and the bundle sheath(BS)is believed to greatly improve the photosynthetic efficiency of C_(4) plants.The OBV mutation in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)results in dark veins and has been used widely in processing tomato varieties.However,physiological performance has difficulty explaining fitness in production.In this study,we confirmed that this mutation was caused by both the increased chlorophyll content and the absence of bundle sheath extension(BSE)in the veins.Using genome-wide association analysis and map-based cloning,we revealed that OBV encoded a C_(2)H_(2) L domain class transcription factor.It was localized in the nucleus and presented cell type-specific gene expression in the leaf veins.Furthermore,we verified the gene function by generating CRISPR/Cas9 knockout and overexpression mutants of the tomato gene.RNA sequencing analysis revealed that OBV was involved in regulating chloroplast development and photosynthesis,which greatly supported the change in chlorophyll content by mutation.Taken together,these findings demonstrated that OBV affected the growth and development of tomato by regulating chloroplast development in leaf veins.This study also provides a solid foundation to further decipher the mechanism of BSEs and to understand the evolution of photosynthesis in land plants.Jinghua Lu Chunyang Pan Xin Li Zejun Huang Jinshuai Shu Xiaoxuan Wang Xiaoxiao Lu Feng Pan Junling Hu Hui Zhang Wenyue Su Min Zhang Yongchen Du Lei Liu Yanmei Guo Junming Li 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

15Secure communication by small time continuous feedback显示文摘Secure communication through chaos synchronization using small time continuous feedback is investigated. The factor K\-r>2 for guaranteeing good recovery of the information signal is determined. The simulation circuit experiment is given by PSPICE circuit simulator. 17A first comprehensive evaluation of China's GNSS-R airborne campaign: part II—river remote sensing显示文摘The Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry(GNSS-R) has been proven to be a powerful technique for retrieving geophysical parameters of ocean and land. Airborne GNSS-R is an important experimental platform, because it is not only needed as validation for spaceborne application, but also possesses the advantages to be capable of remote sensing of small and medium scale targets, such as rivers and lakes. This paper presents an overview of China's airborne GNSS-R campaign conducted on May 30, 2014, in Henan. The campaign has two objectives, i.e.:(1) to examine the capability of a GNSS-R payload developed by National Space Science Center,Chinese Academy of Sciences(NSSC, CAS) for airborneobservations and(2) to study the algorithms for soil moisture and river remote sensing, including altimetry and flow velocity measurement. A previous paper has presented results of soil moisture retrieval as part I, and in this paper,initial results of the Yellow River remote sensing are presented as part II. This paper presents the river altimetry results and explores a new potential application of GNSS-R technology, which is used to detect the flow velocity of the river. The river surface height results observed by code delay altimetry method were consistent with the height results of GPS dual-frequency differential positioning altimetry. The GNSS-R altimetry results showed that decimeter level heights were achieved in 1-min sliding average.
