1Hundred-Joule-level,nanosecond-pulse Nd:glass laser system with high spatiotemporal beam quality显示文摘A 100-J-level Nd:glass laser system in nanosecond-scale pulse width has been constructed to perform as a standard source of high-fluence-laser science experiments. The laser system, operating with typical pulse durations of 3–5 ns and beam diameter 60 mm, employs a sequence of successive rod amplifiers to achieve 100-J-level energy at 1053 nm at3 ns. The frequency conversion can provide energy of 50-J level at 351 nm. 2Design of terahertz band-stop filter based on a metallic resonator on high-resistivity silicon wafer显示文摘In this paper, we present a terahertz (THz) band-stop filter realized by fabricating a metallic T-shaped resonator pattern on the high-resistivity silicon wafer. The filter exhibits two typical band-stop response characteristics depending on the incident direction of electric field with respect to the T-shaped resonator. When the long and the short arms of the T-shaped resonator were electrically polarized by changing the incident THz wave transmission directions, the corresponding central frequencies of the band-stop filter were found to be 0.436 THz at 42dB and 0.610 THz at 28 dB, respectively. Using three-dimensional (3D) finite-integral time-domain simulations, the band-stop filter was designed, which can operate in the wavelength between 0.2 and 0.8 THz. Experimental verification was also performed using a free space THz time-domain spectroscopy system. The band-stop response characteristics are in good agreement with the simulation results. 3Comparative Transcriptome Analysis of Heart Tissue in Response to Hypoxia in Silver Sillago (Sillago sihama)显示文摘Sillago sihama,commonly known as silver sillago,is considered as an economically important fish species in China.It is sensitive to hypoxia stress in the larval stage,and the mechanism has not been understood thoroughly.In this study,we investigated the transcriptome change in heart tissues under hypoxia stress.The fish were divided into four groups,including 1 h of hypoxia(hypoxia1h,dissolved oxygen(DO)=1.5±0.1 mg L^(−1)),4h of hypoxia(hypoxia4h,DO=1.5±0.1 mg L^(−1)),4h of reoxygen(reoxygen4h,DO=8.0±0.2 mg L^(−1))after 4h of hypoxia(DO=1.5 mg L^(−1))and normoxia or control(DO=8.0±0.2 mg L^(−1))groups.The results showed that a total of 3068 genes were identified as differentially expressed genes(DEGs)based on the criteria∣log2(Fold change)∣>1.0 and adjusted P-value<0.05.A total of 7761141 and 1151 DEGs were obtained from hypoxia1h,hypoxia4h and reoxygen4h groups,respectively.The enrichment pathway analysis showed that the DEGs were significantly enriched in ribosome biogenesis in eukaryotes,retinol metabolism,DNA replication and the oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)pathways.Thirteen DEGs from the RNA-seq results were validated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).These candidate genes are considered as important regulatory factors involved in the hypoxia stress response in S.sihama.SAETAN Wanida YE Minghui LIN Xinghua LIN Xiaozhan ZHANG Yulei HUANG Yang DU Tao LI Guangli TIAN Changxu 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,4:1

9Crack-free and high-strength AA2024 alloy obtained by additive manufacturing with controlled columnar-equiaxed-transition显示文摘Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)of high-strength Al alloys is challenging due to the formation of both hot and cold cracks.In the present work,highly dense and crack-free AA2024 samples could be additively manufactured via inoculation treatment of Zr-based metallic glass(MG)powders.The columnar grains in the LPBF-fabricated AA2024 alloy were significantly refined and almost completely transformed to the equiaxed grains with a bimodal grain size distribution consisting of ultrafine grains with a size smaller than 1μm and relatively coarser grains.The grain refinement can be associated with the formation of Al3Zr particles,serving as the heterogeneous nucleation sites for theα-Al matrix.Complete routes for columnar-equiaxed-transition(CET)have been revealed by tailoring the concentration of nucleation particles and solidification conditions.CET occurs both at the melt pool boundary due to the sufficiently high concentration of Al3Zr particles and at the topmost of the melt pool due to the heterogeneous nucleation driven by constitutional undercooling.Between these two regions,columnar grains epitaxially grow with orientations determined by the thermal gradient.The as-built Zr-based MG inoculated AA2024 specimens are robust in healing hot cracks due to a more tortuous propagation path of cracks for equiaxed grains.The as-fabricated AA2024/5%MG specimens exhibit a high ultimate tensile strength of 531 MPa due to crack elimination and grain refinement,surpassing most of the reported values for the LPBF-fabricated AA2024 alloy inoculated with other inoculated powders.The present work could provide a novel inoculation agent to fabricate high-strength Al alloys and the CET can be used to precisely control the grain morphology.Xing Zhu Zhiguang Zhu Tingting Liu Wenhe Liao Yulei Du Huiliang Wei 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,25:0
