1Assessing the relative role of climate change and human activities in sandy desertification of Ordos region, China显示文摘Climate change and human activities are driving forces of sandy desertification and the relative role of them in sandy desertification is the hot point in related researches. A study was carried to assess the relative role of climate change and human activities in sandy desertification of Ordos region in China. Potential NPP and the difference between potential and actual NPP were selected as indicators to assess the relative role of climate change and human activities in sandy desertification, respectively. Assessing methods were built based on some scenarios for the reversion and expansion of sandy desertification and the relative role of climate change and human activities in sandy desertification of Ordos region were assessed from 1981 to 2000. The results showed that although some local places experienced an expansion of sandy desertification, the change of sandy desertification of Ordos region from 1981 to 2000 showed a stably reversing trend. The relative role of climate change and human activities in sandy desertification of Ordos region varied at different temporal and spatial scales in the reversion and expansion processes. In the reversion of sandy desertification, climate change was the dominant factor in the period of 1981 to 1990 and the reversed areas mainly induced by climate change including Mu Us sandy land and the transition zone between temperate steppe and temperate deciduous scrubs in north east of Ordos region; however, human activities controlled the reversed process during the period from 1991 to 2000 and the areas mainly induced by human activities distributed in all banners of Ordos region. In the expansion of sandy desertification, human activities were the dominant factor in the period of 1981 to 1990 and the expanded areas mainly included the regions around common boundary of Hanggin, Dalad Banners and Dongsheng City; however, climate change dominated the expansion of sandy desertification from 1991 to 2000, the expanded areas equably distributed in the whole of Ordos region except the south east of Otog Qian, Uxin and Jungar Banners.XU DuanYang KANG XiangWu LIU ZhiLi ZHUANG DaFang PAN JianJun 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,6:19
2Assessment of the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification:显示文摘Climate change and human activities are the two kinds of driving forces in desertification,and assessing their relative role in desertification is of great significance to deeply understanding the driving mechanisms and preventing desertification expansion.This paper has systematically reviewed the progress of the researches on assessing the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification from qualitative,semi-quantitative and quantitative aspects respectively.The authors found that there were still some problems in the previous researches.For example,the subjectivity in assessment was obvious,the assessment cannot be easily repeated,and the assessment and its results were always based on administrative regions and less taken and expressed in a continuous space.According to the progress of previous researches and the works conducted by the authors recently,we put forward a quantitative approach by selecting NPP as a common indicator to measure the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification and dividing the ecological process of 'driving force effect-dynamic response of desertified land' into several scenarios.Meanwhile,validation and scale of assessment should be taken into account when quantitative assessment of the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification are carried out.XU Duanyang LI Chunlei ZHUANG Dafang PAN Jianjun 2011Journal of Geographical Sciences2011,21,5:16

5Rapid growth of a long-seed KDP crystal显示文摘To reduce the seed length while maintaining the advantages of the cuboid KDP-type crystal,a long-seed KDP crystal with size 471 mm×480 mm×400 mm is rapidly grown.With almost the same high cutting efficiency to obtain third harmonic generation oriented samples,this long-seed KDP-type crystal can be grown with a shorter seed than that of the cuboid KDP-type crystal.The full width at half maximum of the high-resolution X-ray diffraction of the(200)crystalline face is 28.8 arc seconds,indicating that the long-seed KDP crystal has good crystalline quality.In the wavelength range of 377–1022 nm,the transmittance of the long-seed KDP crystal is higher than 90%.The fluence for the 50%probability of laser-induced damage(LID)is 18.5 J/cm^2(3 ns,355 nm).Several test points survive when the laser fluence exceeds 30 J/cm^2(3 ns,355 nm),indicating the good LID performance of the long-seed KDP crystal.At present,the growth of a long-seed DKDP crystal is under way.Duanyang Chen Bin Wang Hu Wang Xiangyu Zhu Ziyuan Xu Yuanan Zhao Shenghao Wang Kaizao Ni Lili Zheng Hui Zhang Hongji Qi Jianda Shao 2020High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,1:5

8Temperature and NaCl deposition dependent corrosion of SAC305 solder alloy in simulated marine atmosphere显示文摘The stable operation of electronic devices in marine atmospheric environment is affected by the corrosion deterioration of solder joints,and the effects by atmosphere temperature and chloride deposition are critical.In this work,NaCl deposition and temperature dependent corrosion of Pb-free SAC305 solder in simulated marine atmosphere has been investigated.The results indicate that higher NaCl deposition prolongs the surface wetting time and leads to the final thicker saturated electrolyte film for further corrosion.Higher temperature accelerates the evaporation and contributes to the final thinner saturated NaCl electrolyte film.Besides,the corrosion control process varies under the initially covered thicker NaCl electrolyte layer and under the final saturated much thinner NaCl electrolyte film as the evaporation proceeds.Moreover,the ready oxygen availability through the final thinner saturated NaCl electrolyte film facilitates the formation of corrosion product layer mainly of electrochemically stable SnO2,but higher temperature leads to the final corrosion product layer with smaller crystal size and large cracks.The findings clearly demonstrate the effects of NaCl deposition and temperature on corrosion evolution of SAC305 solder joints and are critical to the daily maintenance of electronic devices for longer service life in marine atmosphere.Chuang Qiao Mingna Wang Long Hao Xiahe Liu Xiaolin Jiang Xizhong An Duanyang Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16:3
9An innovative constraining ring rolling process for manufacturing conical rings with thin sterna and high ribs显示文摘Conical rings with thin sterna and high ribs(CRTSHR)are key bearing-load parts of aerospace equipment,which are required to be manufactured with high performance and efficiency.Traditional ring rolling is the most preferred method for manufacturing high-performance ring parts,but it can hardly achieve the forming of CRTSHR due to the extreme geometry of CRTSHR.To solve this difficulty,an innovative constraining ring rolling process(CRR)is proposed in this paper to manufacture CRTSHR.To evaluate the proposed CRR and reveal its deformation behaviors,a thermomechanical coupled FE model for CRR of CRTSHR is established.Then,the experiment for CRR of CRTSHR is performed on a modified ring rolling machine,which proves that CRR of CRTSHR is feasible and the established FE model is reliable.Based on the reliable FE model,the metal flow mode in deformed CRTSHR is analyzed,and the deformation characteristics such as the stress state,strain distribution and the evolution of power parameters in CRR of CRTSHR are revealed.Finally,the influences of key parameters such as the friction factor between ring and molds,the diameter of idle roll and the feed velocity of idle roll on CRR of CRTSHR are investigated by FE simulation.Duanyang TIAN Xinghui HAN Lin HUA Xuan HU 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,8:2
10Assessing the relative role of climate change and human activities in desertification of North China from 1981 to 2010显示文摘Desertification is a severe environmental problem induced by both climate change and human activities.This study assessed the relative contribution of climate change,human activities,and different climatic and anthropogenic factors in desertification reversion and expansion of North China from 1981 to 2010.The results showed that the desertification of North China had changed significantly over the past 30 years;desertification reversion and expansion covered an area of 750,464 km^2, and the spatial distribution of these regions exhibited considerable heterogeneity.For desertification reversion, climate change and human activity accounted for 22.6% and 26%,respectively of total reverted land.Wind speed reduction and the improvement ofhydrothermal conditions were the most important climatic factors for desertification reversion in the arid region of Northwest China (ARNC) and the Three-River Headwaters region (TRHR),and the reduction in grassland use intensity was the most important anthropogenic factor related to desertification reversion in Inner Mongolia and regions along the Great Wall (IMGW). 11Gaussian process regression-based quaternion unscented Kalman robust filter for integrated SINS/GNSS显示文摘High-precision filtering estimation is one of the key techniques for strapdown inertial navigation system/global navigation satellite system(SINS/GNSS)integrated navigation system,and its estimation plays an important role in the performance evaluation of the navigation system.Traditional filter estimation methods usually assume that the measurement noise conforms to the Gaussian distribution,without considering the influence of the pollution introduced by the GNSS signal,which is susceptible to external interference.To address this problem,a high-precision filter estimation method using Gaussian process regression(GPR)is proposed to enhance the prediction and estimation capability of the unscented quaternion estimator(USQUE)to improve the navigation accuracy.Based on the advantage of the GPR machine learning function,the estimation performance of the sliding window for model training is measured.This method estimates the output of the observation information source through the measurement window and realizes the robust measurement update of the filter.The combination of GPR and the USQUE algorithm establishes a robust mechanism framework,which enhances the robustness and stability of traditional methods.The results of the trajectory simulation experiment and SINS/GNSS car-mounted tests indicate that the strategy has strong robustness and high estimation accuracy,which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.LYU Xu HU Baiqing DAI Yongbin SUN Mingfang LIU Yi GAO Duanyang 2022Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,5:2
12Porous Y_2SiO_5 Ceramic with Low Thermal Conductivity显示文摘Porous Y2SiO5 ceramic was fabricated by freeze casting with tert-butyl alcohol as solvent. The porous Y2SiO5 ceramic possessed long straight pore structure. With decreasing solid loading from 20 to 10 vol.%, the porosity of the Y2SiO5 ceramic increased linearly from 45% to 72%, while the compressive strength declined from 23.2 to 3.1MPa. 16Sinoatrial node pacemaker cells share dominant biological properties with glutamatergic neurons显示文摘Activation of the heart normally begins in the sinoatrial node(SAN).Electrical impulses spontaneously released by SAN pacemaker cells(SANPCs)trigger the contraction of the heart.However,the cellular nature of SANPCs remains controversial.Here,we report that SANPCs exhibit glutamatergic neuron-like properties.By comparing the single-cell transcriptome of SANPCs with that of cells from primary visual cortex in mouse,we found that SANPCs co-clustered with cortical neurons.Tissue and cellular imaging confirmed that SANPCs contained key elements of glutamatergic neurotransmitter system,expressing genes encoding glutamate synthesis pathway(G/s),ionotropic and metabotropic glutamate receptors(Grina,Gria3,Grm1 and Grm5)t and glutamate transporters(Slc17a7).SANPCs highly expressed cell markers of glutamatergic neurons(Snap25 and S/-c17a7)t whereas Gad1,a marker of GABAergic neurons,was negative.Functional studies revealed that inhibition of glutamate receptors or transporters reduced spontaneous pacing frequency of isolated SAN tissues and spontaneous Ca2+transients frequency in single SANPC.Collectively,our work suggests that SANPCs share dominant biological properties with glutamatergic neurons,and the glutamatergic neurotransmitter system may act as an intrinsic regulation module of heart rhythm,which provides a potential intervention target for pacemaker cell-associated arrhythmias.Dandan Liang Zhigang Xue Jinfeng Xue Duanyang Xie Ke Xiong Huixing Zhou Fulei Zhang Xuling Su Guanghua Wang Qicheng Zou Yi Liu Jian Yang Honghui Ma Luying Peng Chunyu Zeng Gang Li Li Wang Yi-Han Chen 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,7:1
