| 3 | Three Dimensional Morphology and Microstructural Evolution of Bainite in Steels显示文摘The 3-D morphology of bainite in steels has been studied by SEM with high resolution. Based on the dual-surface observation results, the bainite is divided into three sub-categories:upper,transient and lower bainites. The subplates composing upper bainite sheaf are lath-like while the whole morphology of lower bainite and that of its subplates are plate-shaped. The subunits in lower bainite seem to be lumpish. The 3-D morphology of transient bainite proves to resemble both upper and lower bainites on some aspects. | 4 | PV-based virtual synchronous generator with variable inertia to enhance power system transient stability utilizing the energy storage system显示文摘The Photovoltaic(PV)plants are significantly different from the conventional synchronous generators in terms of physical and electrical characteristics,as it connects to the power grid through the voltage-source converters.High penetration PV in power system will bring several critical challenges to the safe operation of power grid including transient stability.To address this problem,the paper proposes a control strategy to help the PVs work like a synchronous generator with variable inertia by energy storage system(ESS).First,the overall control strategy of the PV-based virtual synchronous generator(PV-VSG)is illustrated.Then the control strategies for the variable inertia of the PV-VSG are designed to attenuate the transient energy of the power system after the fault.Simulation results of a simple power system show that the PV-VSG could utilize the energy preserved in the ESS to balance the transient energy variation of power grid after fault and improve the transient stability of the power system. | Ju Liu Dongjun Yang Wei Yao Rengcun Fang Hongsheng Zhao Bo Wang | 2017 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2017,2,1: | 2 |

| 8 | Estimation for ammonia emissions at county level in China from 2013 to 2018显示文摘Ammonia (NH_(3)) can interact with other trace chemicals in the atmosphere,significantly impacting atmospheric chemistry and global climate change.China is a largely agricultural country with high consumption of nitrogen fertilizer and large livestock herds,resulting in high NH_(3) emissions.In this study,a comprehensive county-level inventory of Chinese NH_(3) emissions from 2013 to 2018 was compiled.Based on previous research,an estimate of NH_(3) emissions from household coal combustion was added to the inventory.The estimation of emissions from open biomass burning was improved by using a method based on fire radiative energy (FRE).The total NH_(3) emissions in China increased from 2013 (9.64 Tg) to 2015 (9.75 Tg),and then decreased to 9.12 Tg in 2018.Emissions from fossil fuels reached a peak value in 2018,accounting for 8.4%of total emissions,while fertilizer application and livestock waste were responsible for fewer emissions than in previous years,accounting for 27.7%and 49.9%of the total from non-fossil fuel sources,respectively.The highest emission rates were in central and southwestern China.Seasonally,NH_(3) emissions peaked in spring and summer.The inventory had a 1-km spatial resolution and a monthly temporal resolution,which confirmed its suitability for global and regional air quality simulations. | Wenling LIAO Mingxu LIU Xin HUANG Tiantian WANG Zhenying XU Fang SHANG Yu SONG Xuhui CAI Hongsheng ZHANG Ling KANG Tong ZHU | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,6: | 1 |

| 11 | Effects of Tantalum on Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Properties of High-Nb TiAl Alloys Reinforced by Ti2AlC显示文摘Experiments have been carried out to study the relationship between the addition of tantalum and microstructure,especially the formation of the B2 phase in lamellar colonies.The mechanical properties,with different contents of Ta,were also measured.Ti46Al8Nb2.6CxTa alloys were prepared by casting with the content of Ta varying from zero to 1.0 at.%.Experimental results show that the B2 phase forms in lamellar colonies with the addition of Ta,and its content increases when the content of Ta increases.Meanwhile,theγphase decreases and the lattice parameter of theα2 phase increases.The size of the lamellar colony decreased from 29.9 to 21.6μm.Ta dissolves into Ti_(2)AlC by substitution,and its solubility is more than 1.1%tested by EDS.Nb,which is necessary for the formation of the B2 phase,comes from two aspects.The first is that Ta dissolves into the Ti_(2)AlC and partly replaces the Nb atom and the second is the decrease in theγphase because it has higher solid solubility for Nb.The increase in Nb in the liquid phase increases the composition supercooling and heteronucleation at the solidification front,which accounts for refining the lamellar colony.Room temperature compressive testing showed that the compressive strength and the strain increased when the Ta content increased up to 0.8%and then decreased.Improvement of the compressive properties resulted from the grain boundary strengthening and their decrease induced by more content of the B2 phase.Tensile properties,at elevated temperature,were improved with testing temperature increasing from 750 to 950℃,because solid solution strengthening is a major influence factor. | Hongze Fang Ruirun Chen Yong Yang Yanqing Su Hongsheng Ding Jingjie Guo | 2019 | Research2019,,1: | 1 |
