1Experimental demonstrations of high-Q superconducting coplanar waveguide resonators显示文摘We successfully designed and fabricated an absorption-type of superconducting coplanar waveguide (CPW) resonators. The resonators are made from a niobium film (about 160 nm thick) on a high-resistance Si substrate, and each resonator is fabricated as a meandered quarter-wavelength transmission line (one end is short to the ground and another end is capacitively coupled to a through feedline). With a vector network analyzer we measured the transmissions of the applied microwave through the resonators at ultra-low temperature. The obtained loaded quality factors are significantly high, i.e. up to ~10 6 . When the temperature increases slowly from the base temperature (20 mK), the resonance frequencies of the resonators are blue shifted and the quality factors are lowered slightly. 4Structurally tunable characteristics of ionic liquids for optimizing lithium plating/stripping via electrolyte engineering显示文摘Electrolyte chemistry offers the opportunity to regulate the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) and Li^(+)solvation,which is considered to be crucial to the growth of lithium crystals for safe lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Structurally tunable characteristics of ionic liquids(ILs) from anion type,cationic substituent chain length and cationic substituents,will contribute this field.Here,we explore the influence mechanism of imidazole-based ILs as electrolyte additives on Li+solvation and the formation of SEI.ILs can participate into the formation of efficient SEI,together with cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI).Moreover,ILs can also regulate the sheath structure of Li^(+)solvation,to fasten the kinetics of Li.Furthermore,the imidazole-based cations with long alkyl chain can form an electrostatic shield around newly formed Li nucleus,and suppress further Li plating at this site.Under the optimized condition,the 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide([OMIm]TFSI) additive shows the best ability to enhance the electrochemical performance,endowing the Li||Li symmetric cell with a stable life(over800 h) at 0.5 mA cm^(-2) and the Li||LiNi_(0.6)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622) full cell with a high capacity of 141.7 mAh g^(-1) after 200 cycles at 0.5 C.Shihan Qi Jiandong Liu Jian He Huaping Wang Mingguang Wu Daxiong Wu Junda Huang Fang Li Xin Li Yurong Ren Jianmin Ma 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2

7SRS-Net: Training object detectors from scratch for remote sensing images without pretraining显示文摘Most of the current object detection algorithms use pretrained models that are trained on ImageNet and then fine-tuned in the network,which can achieve good performance in terms of general object detectors.However,in the field of remote sensing image object detection,as pretrained models are significantly different from remote sensing data,it is meaningful to explore a train-fromscratch technique for remote sensing images.This paper proposes an object detection framework trained from scratch,SRS-Net,and describes the design of a densely connected backbone network to provide integrated hidden layer supervision for the convolution module.Then,two necessary improvement principles are proposed:studying the role of normalization in the network structure,and improving data augmentation methods for remote sensing images.To evaluate the proposed framework,we performed many ablation experiments on the DIOR,DOTA,and AS datasets.The results show that whether using the improved backbone network,the normalization method or training data enhancement strategy,the performance of the object detection network trained from scratch increased.These principles compensate for the lack of pretrained models.Furthermore,we found that SRS-Net could achieve similar to or slightly better performance than baseline methods,and surpassed most advanced general detectors.Haining WANG Yang LI Yuqiang FANG Yurong LIAO Bitao JIANG Xitao ZHANG Shuyan NI 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,8:0
8Ultralong room temperature phosphorescence via the charge transfer-separation-recombination mechanism based on organic small molecule doping strategy显示文摘Ultra-long room temperature phosphorescence(URTP) has been increasingly recognized in pure organic luminophor in recent years. Through a simpler molecular design and charge separation-recombination pathway, organic luminophor can achieve even better URTP properties. In this work, we achieved URTP in a system of host-guest doped benzophenone derivatives whose phosphorescence is visible to the naked eye. The differences in the wavelength lifetimes of luminescent emission correspond to different photophysical mechanisms. Through a combination of theoretical calculations and experiments, the host acts as a powerful substrate that restricts the motion of the guest and inhibits the non-radiative transitions of the guest, accompanied by a charge transfer separation-recombination process between the host and the guest, resulting in an URTP phenomenon. Transient absorption results demonstrate the existence of a charge-separated state. 10Immunometabolism:a new dimension in immunotherapy resistance显示文摘Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have demonstrated unparalleled clinical responses and revolutionized the paradigm of tumor treatment,while substantial patients remain unresponsive or develop resistance to ICIs as a single agent,which is traceable to cellular metabolic dysfunction.Although dysregulated metabolism has long been adjudged as a hallmark of tumor,it is now increasingly accepted that metabolic reprogramming is not exclusive to tumor cells but is also characteristic of immunocytes.Correspondingly,people used to pay more attention to the effect of tumor cell metabolism on immunocytes,but in practice immunocytes interact intimately with their own metabolic function in a way that has never been realized before during their activation and differentiation,which opens up a whole new frontier called immunometabolism.The metabolic intervention for tumor-infiltrating immunocytes could offer fresh opportunities to break the resistance and ameliorate existing ICI immunotherapy,whose crux might be to ascertain synergistic combinations of metabolic intervention with ICIs to reap synergic benefits and facilitate an adjusted anti-tumor immune response.Herein,we elaborate potential mechanisms underlying immunotherapy resistance from a novel dimension of metabolic reprogramming in diverse tumor-infiltrating immunocytes,and related metabolic intervention in the hope of offering a reference for targeting metabolic vulnerabilities to circumvent immunotherapeutic resistance.Chaoyue Xiao Wei Xiong Yiting Xu Ji’an Zou Yue Zeng Junqi Liu Yurong Peng Chunhong Hu Fang Wu 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,4:0
11High-performance non-Fermi-liquid metallic thermoelectric materials显示文摘Searching for high-performance thermoelectric(TE)materials in the paradigm of narrow-bandgap semiconductors is hampered by a bottleneck.Here we report on the discovery of metallic compounds,TiFe_(x)Cu_(2x−1)Sb and TiFe1.33Sb,showing the thermopower exceeding many TE semiconductors and the dimensionless figure of merits zTs comparable with the state-of-the-art TE materials.A quasi-linear temperature(T)dependent electrical resistivity in 2–700 K and the logarithmic T-dependent electronic specific heat at low temperature coexist with the high thermopower,highlighting the strong intercoupling of the non-Fermi-liquid(NFL)quantum critical behavior of electrons with TE transports.Electronic structure analysis reveals a competition between the antiferromagnetic(AFM)ordering and Kondo-like spin compensation as well as a parallel two-channel Kondo effect.The T-dependent magnetic susceptibility agrees with the quantum critical scenario of strong local correlation.Our work demonstrates the correlation among high TE performance,NFL quantum criticality,and magnetic fluctuation,which opens up directions for future research.Zirui Dong Yubo Zhang Jun Luo Ying Jiang Zhiyang Yu Nan Zhao Liusuo Wu Yurong Ruan Fang Zhang Kai Guo Jiye Zhang Wenqing Zhang 2023npj Computational Materials2023,,1:0
