| 3 | Electrochemical oxidation of 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctane sulfonic acid(6:2 FTS) on DSA electrode:Operating parameters and mechanism显示文摘The 6:2 FTS was the substitute for perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS) in the chrome plating industry in Japan. Electrochemical oxidation of 6:2 FTS was investigated in this study. The degradabilities of PFOS and 6:2 FTS were tested on the Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3anode. The effects of current density,potential,and supporting electrolyte on the degradation of 6:2 FTS were evaluated. Experimental results showed that 6:2 FTS was more easily degraded than PFOS on the Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3anode. At a low current density of 1.42 mA/cm2,6:2 FTS was not degraded on Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3,while the degradation ratio increased when the current density ranged from 4.25 to 6.80 mA/cm2. The degradation of 6:2 FTS at current density of 6.80 mA/cm2 followed pseudo first-order kinetics with the rate constant of 0.074 hr-1. The anodic potential played an important role in the degradation of 6:2 FTS,and the pseudo first-order rate constants increased with the potential. The surface of Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3was contaminated after electrolysis at constant potential of 3 V,while the fouling phenomenon was not observed at 5 V. The fouled anode could be regenerated by incinerating at 600°C. The intermediates detected by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a triple-stage quadrupole mass spectrometer(UPLC–MS/MS) were shorter chain perfluorocarboxylic acids. | 7 | Calcium/calmodulin modulates salt responses by binding a novel interacting protein SAMS1 in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The Ca^(2+)/CaM signal transduction pathway helps plants adapt to environmental stress. However, our knowledge on the functional proteins of C^(2+)/CaM pathway in peanut(Arachis hypogeae L.) remains limited. In the present study, a novel calmodulin 4(CaM4)-binding protein S-adenosyl-methionine synthetase 1(SAMS1) in peanut was identified using a yeast two-hybrid assay. Expression of AhSAMS1was induced by Ca^(2+), ABA, and salt stress. To elucidate the function of AhSAMS1, physiological and phenotypic analyses were performed with wild-type and transgenic materials. Overexpression of AhSAMS1increased spermidine and spermidine synthesis while decreased the contents of ethylene, thereby eliminating excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS) in transgenic lines under salt stress. AhSAMS1 reduced uptake of Na+and leakage of K+from mesophyll cells, and was less sensitive to salt stress during early seedling growth, in agreement with the induction of SOS and NHX genes Transcriptomics combined with epigenetic regulation uncovered relationships between differentially expressed genes and differentially methylated regions, which raised the salt tolerance and plants growth. | 8 | Partition sampling strategy for robot motion planning under uncertainty显示文摘In order to solve the sensing and motion uncertainty problem of motion planning in narrow passage environment,a partition sampling strategy based on partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP)was proposed.The method combines partition sampling strategy and can improve the success rate of the robot motion planning in the narrow passage.Firstly,the environment is divided into open area and narrow area by using a partition sampling strategy,and generates the initial trajectory of the robot with fewer sampling points.Secondly,the method can calculate a local optimal solution of the initial nominal trajectory by solving POMDP problem,and iterates an overall optimal trajectory of robot motion.The proposed method follows the general POMDP solution framework,in which the belief dynamics is approximated by an extended Kalman filter(EKF),and the value function is represented by an effective quadratic function in the belief space near the nominal trajectory.Using a belief space variant of iterative linear quadratic Gaussian(iLQG)to perform the value iteration,which results in a linear control policy over the belief space that is locally optimal around the nominal trajectory.A new nominal trajectory is generated by executing the control strategy iteration,and the process is repeated until it converges to a locally optimal solution.Finally,the robot gets the optimal trajectory to safely pass through a narrow passage.The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently improves the performance of motion planning under uncertainty. | Cao Qihe Li Qinghua Qiu Shubo Han Fengjian Feng Chao | 2021 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2021,28,3: | 0 |
| 9 | Shear behaviours and roughness degeneration based on a quantified rock joint surface description显示文摘The asperity wear of rock joints significantly affects their shear behaviour.This study discusses the wear damage of the asperities on the joint surface,highlighting the roughness degradation characteristics during the shear process.The direct shear experiment of artificial specimens containing rock joints was conducted under different normal stresses based on three-dimensional scanning technology.These experimental results showed the contribution of joint wear to roughness degeneration,such as the height,zone,and volume of asperity degeneration.The wear coefficient of the rock joint was obtained based on the volume wear of asperities in the laboratory experiment.The functional relationship between the friction coefficient and wear coefficient is subsequently determined.To quantitatively analyse the wear damage of a joint surface,a calculation method for determining the wear depth of the rock joint after shearing was proposed based on wear theory.The relationship between the ultimate dilation and wear depth was analysed.A coefficient m,which can describe the damage degree of the joint surface,and a prediction method of joint surface roughness after shearing are established.Good agreement between analytical predictions and measured values demonstrates the capability of the developed model.Lastly,the sensitivity factors on the wear depth are explored. | Shubo Zhang Gang Wang Yujing Jiang Changsheng Wang Feng Xu | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,10: | 0 |
| 10 | Effects of Allelochemicals on Root Growth and Pod Yield in Response to Continuous Cropping Obstacle of Peanut显示文摘Continuous cropping(CC)obstacle is a major threat in legume crops production;however,the underlying mechanisms concerning the roles allelochemicals play in CC obstacle are poorly understood.The current 2-year study was conducted to investigate the effects of different kinds and concentrations of allelochemicals,p-hydroxybenzoic acid(H),cinnamic acid(C),phthalic acid(P),and their mixtures(M)on peanut root growth and productivity in response to CC obstacle.Treatment with H,C,P,and M significantly decreased the plant height,dry weight of the leaves and stems,number of branches,and length of the lateral stem compared with control.Exogenous application of H,C,P,and M inhibited the peanut root growth as indicated by the decreased root morphological characters.The allelochemicals also induced the cell membrane oxidation even though the antioxidant enzymes activities were significantly increased in peanut roots.Meanwhile,treatment with H,C,P,and M reduced the contents of total soluble sugar and total soluble protein.Analysis of ATPase activity,nitrate reductase activity,and root system activity revealed that the inhibition effects of allelochemicals on peanut roots might be due to the decrease in activities of ATPase and NR,and the inhibition of root system.Consequently,allelochemicals significantly decreased the pod yield of peanut compared with control.Our results demonstrate that allelochemicals play a dominant role in CC obstacle-induced peanut growth inhibition and yield reduction through damaging the root antioxidant system,unbalancing the osmolytes accumulation,and decreasing the activities of root-related enzymes. | Zhaohui Tang Feng Guo Li Cui Qingkai Li Jialei Zhang Jianguo Wang Sha Yang Jingjing Meng Xinguo Li Ping Liu Shubo Wan | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1: | 0 |
