| 2 | Effect of Peak Power and Pulse Width on Coherent Doppler Wind Lidar’s SNR显示文摘The laser device is the core component of coherent Doppler wind lidar.The peak power and pulse width of laser transmitting pulse have important effects on SNR.Based on coherent Doppler wind pulse lidar,the peak power and pulse width influence on SNR is studied on the theoretical derivation and analysis,and the results show that the higher the peak power can realize the greater the signal-to-noise ratio of coherent Doppler wind lidar.But when the peak power is too large,the laser pulse may appear nonlinear phenomenon,which cause the damage of the laser.So,the peak power must be less than the stimulated brillouin scattering power threshold.Increasing the pulse width can make the laser device to output more energy,but it will also make the spatial resolution lower,and the influence of turbulence on SNR will be greater.After a series of simulation analyses,it can be concluded that when the peak power is 650W and the pulse width is 340ns,the SNR of the system can be maximized.In addition,the coherent Doppler wind lidar system is set up to carry out corresponding experimental verification.The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis and simulation,which verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and simulation results.It provides theoretical basis and practical ex-perience for the design of laser transmitting pulse in coherent Doppler wind lidar system. | REN Yong WU Xuefei TAO Fa CAO Haishuai | 2022 | Instrumentation2022,9,2: | 4 |

| 5 | TLR7/8 signalling affects X-sperm motility via the GSK3α/β-hexokinase pathway for the efficient production of sexed dairy goat embryos显示文摘Background:Goat milk is very similar to human milk in terms of its abundant nutrients and ease of digestion.To derive greater economic benefit,farmers require more female offspring(does);however,the buck-to-doe offspring sex ratio is approximately 50%.At present,artificial insemination after the separation of X/Y sperm using flow cytometry is the primary means of controlling the sex of livestock offspring.However,flow cytometry has not been successfully utilised for the separation of X/Y sperm aimed at sexing control in dairy goats.Results:In this study,a novel,simple goat sperm sexing technology that activates the toll-like receptor 7/8(TLR7/8),thereby inhibiting X-sperm motility,was investigated.Our results showed that the TLR7/8 coding goat Xchromosome was expressed in approximately 50%of round spermatids in the testis and sperm,as measured from cross-sections of the epididymis and ejaculate,respectively.Importantly,TLR7/8 was located at the tail of the Xsperm.Upon TLR7/8 activation,phosphorylated forms of glycogen synthase kinaseα/β(GSK3α/β)and nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)were detected in the X-sperm,causing reduced mitochondrial activity,ATP levels,and sperm motility.High-motility Y-sperm segregated to the upper layer and the low-motility X-sperm,to the lower layer.Following in vitro fertilisation using the TLR7/8-activated sperm from the lower layer,80.52±6.75%of the embryos were XX females.The TLR7/8-activated sperm were subsequently used for in vivo embryo production via the superovulatory response;nine embryos were collected from the uterus of two does that conceived.Eight of these were XX embryos,and one was an XY embryo.Conclusions:Our study reveals a novel TLR7/8 signalling mechanism that affects X-sperm motility via the GSK3α/β-hexokinase pathway;this technique could be used to facilitate the efficient production of sexed dairy goat embryos. | Fa Ren Huaming Xi Yijie Ren Yu Li Fei Wen Ming Xian Mengjie Zhao Dawei Zhu Liqiang Wang Anmin Lei Jianhong Hu | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 2 |

| 17 | Evaluation of Wheat Stripe Rust Resistance in Sichuan Province显示文摘Wheat stripe rust,caused by Puccinia striiformis Westend. f. sp. tritici Erikss.( Pst),is one of the most destructive diseases of wheat( Triticum aestivum L.) worldwide. Sichuan province plays an important role in stripe rust epidemic in China. To identify and evaluate wheat stripe rust resistance in Sichuan Province,134 wheat cultivars( lines) were inoculated with seven Pst races at seedling stage and adult stage. The results indicated that the resistance frequencies of wheat cultivars( lines) against seven races CYR31,Su11-7,CYR29,Su11-4,CYR32,CYR33 and V26 were 92. 4%,92. 5%,89. 3%,89. 4%,87. 3%,85. 0% and 82. 8%,respectively. Among 134 materials,76( 56. 0%) performed resistance against all tested races both in seedling and adult stages. The virulence of new pathogenic type V26 of Pst on wheat cultivars( lines) was stronger than the dominant races CYR32 and CYR33. All wheat cultivars( lines) were classified into three types according to analysis of resistance spectrum; 66. 4% of cultivars( lines) showed all-stage resistance,17. 9% were adult-plant resistance,and 15. 7% were susceptible. This indicated that although the overall resistance level of wheat cultivars( lines) in Sichuan Province was very high,the resistance type was simple. Therefore,it is important to identify new resistance genes and enhance resistance gene diversity.
