1Synthesis, characterization and size control of zerovalent iron nanoparticles anchored on montmorillonite显示文摘Zerovalent iron nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized using sodium borohydride solution reduction of ferric trichloride hexahydrate in the presence of montmorillonite as an effective protective reagent and support as well. A combination of characterizations reveals that with high monodispersity these obtained iron nanoparticles are well dispersed on clay surface, virginal from boron related impurity, and oxidation resistant well with iron core-iron oxide shell structure. The shell thickness of 3 nm remains almost invariable under ambient conditions. 2Mechanism of the interaction between Au nano-particles and polymerase in nanoparticle PCR显示文摘Nanoparticle PCR is a novel method to optimize DNA amplification. It performs well in improving specificity, enhancing sensitivity and speed. Several mechanisms were proposed in previous studies: one was based on the interaction between gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and DNA while the other was attributed to the heat transfer property of AuNPs. In this paper, we propose that the interaction between AuNPs and DNA polymerase can significantly influence PCR. First, the addition of DNA polymerase can eliminate the inhibitory effects of excess AuNPs. Second, the addition of AuNPs will increase yield of the desired PCR product and make the optimum concentration of DNA polymerase move to higher value. Third, while excess polymerase might inhibit amplification efficiency, AuNPs can reverse this process and the yield of PCR amplification. 3Extensive evolution analysis of the global chikungunya virus strains revealed the origination of CHIKV epidemics in Pakistan in 2016显示文摘Chikungunya virus(CHIKV) is a mosquito-borne virus that causes epidemics widely in the world especially in the tropical and subtropical regions. Phylogenetic analysis has found that the CHIKV lineages were associated with the spatial and temporal distributions, which were related to the virus adaption to the major mosquito species and their distributions. In this study, we reported the complete genome sequences of eight CHIKV isolates from the outbreak in Pakistan last year. Then we reviewed the evolutionary history using extensive phylogenetic analysis, analyzed lineagespecific substitutions in viral proteins, and characterized the spreading pathway of CHIKV strains including the Pakistani strains. The results showed that the Pakistani stains belonged to the ECSA.IOL sub-lineage and derived from India. The genetic properties of the Pakistani strains including the adaptive substitution to vectors were further characterized, and the potential risks from the occurrence of CHIKV infection in Pakistan were discussed. 8Hepatic SIRT6 deficit promotes liver tumorigenesis in the mice models显示文摘SIRT6 belongs to class III sirtuin family with NAD+-dependent histone deacetylase activities and controls multiple processes including aging,metabolism and inflammation.In recent years,increasing studies showed tumor suppressor role of SIRT6 in HCC development.We established a two-stage DEN followed CC14 induced liver carcinogenesis in the hepatic-specific SIRT6 HKO mice models and found that hepatic S1RT6 deficit significantly promotes liver injury and liver cancer through inhibition of the ERK1/2 pathway.SIRT6 was compensatory up-regulated in mice tumor tissues and human HCC cells and overexpressed SIRT6 inhibits tumor growth both in vitro and in vivo.Taken together,we provide a useful mouse model for delineating the molecular pathways involved in chronic liver diseases and primary liver cancer and suggest that SIRT6 can be a promising target for HCC therapies.Mei Wang Linhua Lan Fan Yang Shan Jiang Haojun Xu Chengfei Zhang Guoren Zhou Hongping Xia Jinglin Xia 2022Genes & Diseases2022,9,3:1

10A double sideband combined tracking method for Galileo E5 AltBOC signals显示文摘The Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo)E5 Alternative Binary Offset Carrier(AltBOC)signal brings various challenges due to its complex modulation,wide bandwidth,and multi-peaked auto-correlation function.While wideband tracking needs to solve the ambiguity problem and design dedicated baseband channels,the single-sideband cannot have the outstanding performance of the AltBOC signal.We propose a new tracking method called“Double Sideband Combined Tracking”(DSCT),which can fully exploit the AltBOC signal’s code tracking accuracy without ambiguity and ensure compatibility with Binary Phase Shift Keying(BPSK)processing channels,easily implemented in hardware.The DSCT employs one phase locked loop and one delay locked loop to track the carrier and code,respectively.The double-sideband correlation results used by the two loops are recovered by coherently combining the singlesideband correlation results of the two BPSK channels.Meanwhile,the combined model,the loop discriminator,and the ambiguity detection of the DSCT are discussed.Furthermore,the code tracking error caused by thermal noise is modeled and analyzed.The test results based on real Galileo E5 signals show that the DSCT exhibits better or comparable code tracking accuracy to the AltBOC wideband tracking method.When the loop falsely locks onto a sidepeak,the DSCT can quickly detect and re-lock on the main peak.Tongwen Fan Tisheng Zhang Hongping Zhang Jun Mo Xiaoji Niu 2023Satellite Navigation2023,4,3:0
11Licorice-saponin A3 is a broad-spectrum inhibitor for COVID-19 by targeting viral spike and anti-inflammation显示文摘Currently,human health due to corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has been seriously threatened.The coronavirus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)spike(S)protein plays a crucial role in virus transmission and several S-based therapeutic approaches have been approved for the treatment of COVID-19.However,the efficacy is compromised by the SARS-CoV-2 evolvement and mutation.Here we report the SARS-CoV-2 S protein receptor-binding domain(RBD)inhibitor licorice-saponin A3(A3)could widely inhibit RBD of SARS-CoV-2 variants,including Beta,Delta,and Omicron BA.1,XBB and BQ1.1.Furthermore,A3 could potently inhibit SARS-CoV-2 Omicron virus in Vero E6 cells,with EC50 of 1.016μM.The mechanism was related to binding with Y453 of RBD determined by hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry(HDX-MS)analysis combined with quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics(QM/MM)simulations.Interestingly,phosphoproteomics analysis and multi fluorescent immunohistochemistry(mIHC)respectively indicated that A3 also inhibits host inflammation by directly modulating the JNK and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways and rebalancing the corresponding immune dysregulation.This work supports A3 as a promising broad-spectrum small molecule drug candidate for COVID-19.Yang Yi Wenzhe Li Kefang Liu Heng Xue Rong Yu Meng Zhang Yang-Oujie Bao Xinyuan Lai Jingjing Fan Yuxi Huang Jing Wang Xiaomeng Shi Junhua Li Hongping Wei Kuanhui Xiang Linjie Li Rong Zhang Xin Zhao Xue Qiao Hang Yang Min Ye 2024Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2024,14,1:0
12Clinical Application of PES Membrane Dialyzer显示文摘Objective The dialysate membrane can be classified into acetate membrane and synthetic membrane,while the latter can be further divided into polysulfone,polyacrylonitrile,etc.Polyethersulfone membrane is high molecular membrane material with excellent biocompatibility,stable mechanical properties,high temperature and pressure resistance,and good cleaning performance,which has been applied for more than 10 years.This trial is to assess the safety and efficacy of hollow polysulfone membrane fiber dialyzer with pattern number Enttex^(TM)-16LF(E60)for hemodialysis in patients with acute or chronic renal failure due to multiple factors.Methods Totally 76 patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis were included in a two-site,random,open label,two-stage,positive crossover and non inferiority validation study.The clinical efficacy and safety of the test device were observed,which was a hollow fiber dialyzer produced by Guangzhou Enttex Medical Products Co.,Ltd.,with polyethersulfone membrane imported from Germany.It was a low flux dialyzer with the pattern number of EnttexTM-16LF(E60).Inclusion criteria:①patients with acute or chronic renal failure due to various reasons who needed hemodialysis;②18 to 80 years old,gender unlimited;③patients who received stable dialysis for more than 3 months,regular hemodialysis 3 times a week,4 h at each time,blood flow rate of 200~350ml/min;④using bicarbonate dialysate at a flow rate of 500ml/min;⑤patients with arteriovenous fistula or who received artificial blood vessel puncture dialysis;received anticoagulation by heparin or low molecular weight heparin.Exclusion criteria:①patients needing heparin free dialysis for severe anemia,tumor and active bleeding;②patients with severe cardiac(gradeⅢcardiac function),hepatic(severe hepatitis and cirrhosis)and pulmonary diseases(severe respiratory failure).Results Comparison of parameters,including the changes of Kt/V,general creatinine and urea clearance rates and URR(urea reduction rate)shows no statistical significance in differences between the two devices,indicating that the test and control devices can equally and effectively eliminate toxins including creatinine and urea,etc.PPP and MITTP results are consistent.Comparison of ultrafiltration rates between two groups of patients shows no statistical difference.PPP and MITTP results are consistent,indicating that both the test device and control device can effectively eliminate water.In MITTP,electrolytes including K^+,Na^+,Cl^-,Ca^2+,HCO3^-,etc.show no statistical significance in difference between the test and control devices before and after dialysis(P>0.05).After treating by using test and control devices,body weight,serum potassium and phos-phorus all significantly decrease(P<0.001);serum Ca^2+,PO2,PCO2and HCO3^-all significantly increase(P<0.001).These results indicate that both the test and control devices can effectively eliminate serum potassium and phosphorus,and eliminate excess water in body,maintain the balance between liquid and electrolytes in patients.PPP and MITTP results are consistent.Conclusion This clinical trial confirms that hollow polyethersulfone membrane fiber dialyzer can be safely and effectively used in hemodialysis therapy.YUN Chen YANG Peidian LIANG Wenxue CHEN Yu CHEN Gangyi LIU Hongping OUYANG Zihua SONG Huifeng LI Yunyi YU Zongchao GUAN Baozhang DONG Xiangnan LIU Huanhuan Cao Rui ZHANG Zeyu FAN Lijing HU Bo HE Yongcheng SHI Mingjie XU Jun Yang Lifeng TANG Shuifu 2019临床医学工程2019,26,S01:0
13Theoretical and technical progress in exploration practice of the deep-water large oil fields, Santos Basin, Brazil显示文摘The history and results of petroleum exploration in the Santos Basin, Brazil are reviewed. The regularity of hydrocarbon enrichment and the key exploration technologies are summarized and analyzed using the seismic, gravity, magnetic and drilling data. It is proposed that the Santos Basin had a structural pattern of two uplifts and three depressions and the Aram-Uirapuru uplift belt controlled the hydrocarbon accumulation. It is believed that the main hydrocarbon source kitchen in the rift period controlled the hydrocarbon-enriched zones, paleo-structures controlled the scale and quality of lacustrine carbonate reservoirs, and continuous thick salt rocks controlled the hydrocarbon formation and preservation. The process and mechanism of reservoirs being transformed by CO_(2)charging were revealed. Five key exploration technologies were developed,including the variable-velocity mapping for layer-controlled facies-controlled pre-salt structures, the prediction of lacustrine carbonate reservoirs, the prediction of intrusive/effusive rock distribution, the detection of hydrocarbons in lacustrine carbonates, and the logging identification of supercritical CO_(2)fluid.
