| 1 | Darwin:a neuromorphic hardware co-processor based on Spiking Neural Networks显示文摘Broadly speaking, the goal of neuromorphic engineering is to build computer systems that mimic the brain. Spiking Neural Network(SNN) is a type of biologically-inspired neural networks that perform information processing based on discrete-time spikes, different from traditional Artificial Neural Network(ANN).Hardware implementation of SNNs is necessary for achieving high-performance and low-power. We present the Darwin Neural Processing Unit(NPU), a neuromorphic hardware co-processor based on SNN implemented with digitallogic, supporting a maximum of 2048 neurons, 20482= 4194304 synapses, and 15 possible synaptic delays.The Darwin NPU was fabricated by standard 180 nm CMOS technology with an area size of 5 × 5 mm2and70 MHz clock frequency at the worst case. It consumes 0.84 m W/MHz with 1.8 V power supply for typical applications. | 3 | Efficacy and safety of external application of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of acute gouty arthritis: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of external application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (EATCM) on acute gouty arthritis (AGA).METHODS:Six electronic data bases were retrieved from their inception to march 2017.15 randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) were included.The quality of the literatures was assessed according to Cochrane review criteria by using RevMan5.3 software;and related data was counted using Stata14.0 software.RESULTS:There was no significant difference in C-reactiveprotein (CRP) between experimental intervention group and control group [(WMD =1.093,95% C/(-2.514,4.701);P =0.553)].In terms of overall efficacy,the EATCM's treatment group was significantly superior to control group [(OR =3.692;95% CI (2.408,5.661);P <0.001)].The EATCM was better than western medicine treatments or other interventions in reducing the adverse reactions [(OR =0.135;95% CI (0.067,0.274);P < 0.001)].All these funnel plots showed unlikelihood of publishing bias.But due to excessive heterogeneity,the statistical results of serum uric acid and visual analogue scale and CRP between the two groups became uncertain.CONCLUSION:The results indicate that EATCM may have greater overall efficacy with fewer adverse drug reactions,although the evidence is weak owing to the low methodological quality and the small number of the included trials. | Huang Xinxing Zhu Zonghua Wu Guang-hui Min Peng Fei Peng Zhu Tao Wang Xuezong Xiao Lianbo | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,3: | 12 |

| 5 | Integrated removal of NO and mercury from coal combustion flue gas using manganese oxides supported on TiO_2显示文摘A catalyst composed of manganese oxides supported on titania(MnO_x/TiO_2) synthesized by a sol–gel method was selected to remove nitric oxide and mercury jointly at a relatively low temperature in simulated flue gas from coal-fired power plants. The physico-chemical characteristics of catalysts were investigated by X-ray fluorescence(XRF), X-ray diffraction(XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses, etc. The effects of Mn loading,reaction temperature and individual flue gas components on denitration and Hg^0 removal were examined. The results indicated that the optimal Mn/Ti molar ratio was 0.8 and the best working temperature was 240°C for NO conversion. O_2 and a proper ratio of [NH_3]/[NO]are essential for the denitration reaction. Both NO conversion and Hg^0 removal efficiency could reach more than 80% when NO and Hg^0 were removed simultaneously using Mn0.8 Tiat 240°C.Hg^0 removal efficiency slightly declined as the Mn content increased in the catalysts. The reaction temperature had no significant effect on Hg^0 removal efficiency. O_2 and HCl had a promotional effect on Hg^0 removal. SO2 and NH_3were observed to weaken Hg^0 removal because of competitive adsorption. NO first facilitated Hg^0 removal and then had an inhibiting effect as NO concentration increased without O_2, and it exhibited weak inhibition of Hg^0 removal efficiency in the presence of O_2. | 7 | Construction of multiform scFv antibodies using linker peptide显示文摘Multiform single chain variable fragments (scFvs) including different length linker scFvs and bispecific scFv were constructed. The linker lengths of 0, 3, 5, 8, 12, and 15 amino acids between VH and VL of antideoxynivalenol (anti-DON) scFv were used to analyze the affinities of scFvs. The affinity constants of these scFvs increased when the linker was lower than 12 amino acids. The affinity constant would not change when the linker was longer than 12 amino acids. Fusion gene of anti-DON scFv and antizearalenone (anti-ZEN) scFv was also constructed through connection by a short peptide linker DNA to express a bispecific scFv. The affinity constants assay showed that the two scFvs of fusion bispecific scFv remained their own affinity compared to their parental scFvs. Competitive direct enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect DON and ZEN in contaminated wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) samples, and the results indicated that this bispecific scFv was applicable in DON and ZEN detection. | 10 | Comparative QTL analysis of maize seed artificial aging between an immortalized F_2 population and its corresponding RILs显示文摘Seed aging decreases the quality and vigor of crop seeds,thereby causing substantial agricultural and economic losses in crops.To identify genetic differences in seed aging between homozygotes and heterozygotes in maize,the seeds of a set of recombinant inbred lines(RILs) and an immortalized F_2(IF_2) population were subjected to artificial aging treatments for 0,2,3,and 4 days under 45℃ and 85%relative humidity and seed vigor was then evaluated in a field experiment.Seed vigor of all entries tested decreased sharply with longer aging treatment and seed vigor decreased more slowly in heterozygotes than in homozygotes.Forty-nine QTL were detected for four measured seed vigor traits in the RIL(28QTL) and IF_2(21 QTL) populations.Only one QTL,qGP5,was detected in both populations,indicating that the genes involved in anti-aging mechanisms differed between inbred lines and hybrids.Several QTL were identified to be responsible for multiple seed vigor traits simultaneously in the RIL and IF_2 populations under artificial aging conditions.These QTL may include major genes for seed vigor or seed aging.QTL qVI4 b and qGE3 a detected in the RIL population coincided with genes ZmLOX1 and ZmPLD1 in the same respective chromosomal regions.These QTL would be useful for screening for anti-aging genes in maize breeding. | Bin Wang Zhanhui Zhang Zhiyuan Fu Zonghua Liu Yanmin Hu Jihua Tang | 2016 | The Crop Journal2016,4,1: | 5 |

| 12 | The effect of pH on the sorption of gold nanoparticles on illite显示文摘Sorption between nanoparticles(NPs)and minerals may critically affect the migration of associated elements as well as the environmental impact of NPs.Since illite is widely present in soil,sediment,and water,we have experimentally investigated the sorption behavior of citrate-coated gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)as model NPs on illite under different pH and mineral mass conditions.We demonstrated that sorption of these negatively charged AuNPs strongly depended on the suspension pH.At pH above 8,which coincided with the apparent point of zero charge(pH 7.9)of our illite sample,only marginal sorption of AuNPs was observed.At pH 3-8,significant sorption of AuNPs on illite was found,with almost complete sorption occurring at more acidic conditions(pH 3-4).TEM observations revealed that sorption took place through the attachment AuNPs on illite edges.At pH 2,AuNPs mostly formed chain-like fused structures and precipitated out of the suspension.Based upon the above pH dependence,residual organic ligand content after sorption,and complementary sorption results with positively charged AuNPs,we conclude that the sorption process is mainly driven by the electrostatic attraction between negatively charged AuNPs and positively charged illite edges,with possible competitive involvement of citrate molecules.We expect that our findings will improve our understanding of NP-mineral interaction and the environmental fate of NPs. | Yuhong Fu Quan Wan Zonghua Qin Xin Nie Wenbin Yu Shanshan Li | 2020 | Acta Geochimica2020,39,2: | 2 |
| 13 | Tunable Ru-Ru2P heterostructures with charge redistribution for efficient pH-universal hydrogen evolution显示文摘Designing synergistic heterogeneous catalytic interfaces is the key to developing highly compatible pH-universal electrocatalysts for complex chemical environments.Our theoretical calculation results demonstrate that the Ru-Ru2P heterointerface can not only promote the redistribution of charges,but also reduce the d-band center,and then enhances the adsorption capacity of the key intermediate.However,in situ and facile synthesis of Ru-Ru2P heterostructures is severely limited by thermodynamic obstacles.Herein,we propose a molten salt-assisted catalytic synthesis scheme,and successfully build a series of homologous metallic Ru-Ru2P heterostructure catalysts with different molar ratios of Ru to P under atmospheric pressure and low-temperature(400C).The resultant Ru-Ru2P with rich heterostructures show the Pt-like HER performance in different pH media.Particularly,it is prominent under alkaline conditions(18 mV@10 mA cm^(2)),which outperforms the Pt catalyst(37 mV@10 mA cm^(2)).Furthermore,Ru-Ru2P heterostructures also show certain potential in the electrolysis of seawater to produce hydrogen.This work represents a significant supplement of high-efficiency pH-universal HER catalysts,and provides a new light on interface engineering in energy technology fields and beyond. | Ding Chen Ruohan Yu Ruihu Lu Zonghua Pu Pengyan Wang Jiawei Zhu Pengxia Ji Dulan Wu Jinsong Wu Yan Zhao Zongkui Kou Jun Yu Shichun Mu | 2022 | InfoMat2022,4,5: | 2 |
