Centroid-based semi-fragile audio watermarking in hybrid domain显示文摘Many previous (semi-) fragile audio watermarking schemes adopt binary images as watermarks, which reduce the security of watermarking systems. On the other hand, the content-based or feature-based second generation digital watermarking has limited applicability, and its partial feature points may be damaged by watermarking operations and various common signal processing. To overcome these problems, in this paper, a novel centroid-based semi-fragile audio watermarking scheme in hybrid domain is proposed. The theoretical lower limit of signal to noise ratio (SNR) for objective evaluation of the imperceptibility of watermarked audio signal is deduced, and the watermark embedding capacity and the tamper detection ability are theoretically analyzed. In the proposed scheme, first, the centroid of each audio frame is computed, then Hash function is performed on the obtained centroid to get the watermark, after that, the audio sub-band which carries centroid of audio frame is performed with discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and discrete cosine transform (DCT), and finally the encrypted watermark bits are embedded into the hybrid domain. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed scheme is inaudible and applicable to different types of audio signals. Furthermore, its ability of tamper detection and tolerance against common signal processing operations are excellent. Comparing with the existing schemes, the proposed scheme can effectively authenticate the veracity and integrity of audio content, and greatly expand the applicability of the content-based audio watermarking scheme.WANG HongXia & FAN MingQuan School of Information Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu 610031, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,3:14
Durability of neutralizing antibodies and T-cell response post SARS-CoV-2 infection显示文摘The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19)is caused by a newly discoveredβcoronavirus named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).How long the adaptive immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 can last is of critical clinical relevance in assessing the probability of second infection and efficacy of vaccination. Here we examined, using ELISA,the IgG antibodies in serum specimens collected from 17 COVID-19 patients at 6–7 months after diagnosis and the results were compared to those from cases investigated 2 weeks to 2 months post-infection.All samples were positive for IgGs against the S-and N-proteins of SARS-CoV-2.Notably,14 samples available at 6–7 months post-infection all showed significant neutralizing activities in a pseudovirus assay, with no difference in blocking the cell-entry of the 614D and 614G variants of SARS-CoV-2.Furthermore,in 10 blood samples from cases at 6–7 months post-infection used for memory T-cell tests,we found that interferonγ-producing CD4+and CD8+cells were increased upon SARS-CoV-2 antigen stimulation.Together, these results indicate that durable anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunity is common in convalescent population, and vaccines developed from 614D variant may offer protection from the currently predominant 614D variant of SARS-CoV-2.Yun Tan Feng Liu Xiaoguang Xu Yun Ling Weijin Huang Zhaoqin Zhu Mingquan Guo Yixiao Lin Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Tengfei Zhang Jian Fan Miao Xu Hongzhou Lu Saijuan Chen 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,6:6

Host protection against Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages by prior vaccination in spring 2022 COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai显示文摘The Omicron family of SARS-CoV-2 variants are currently driving the COVID-19 pandemic. Here we analyzed the clinical laboratory test results of 9911 Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages-infected symptomatic patients without earlier infection histories during a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Shanghai in spring 2022.Compared to an earlier patient cohort infected by SARS-CoV-2 prototype strains in 2020,BA.2.2 infection led to distinct fluctuations of pathophysiological markers in the peripheral blood. In particular,severe/critical cases of COVID19 post BA.2.2 infection were associated with less pro-inflammatory macrophage activation and stronger interferon alpha response in the bronchoalveolar microenvironment.Importantly, the abnormal biomarkers were significantly subdued in individuals who had been immunized by 2 or 3 doses of SARS-CoV-2 prototypeinactivated vaccines, supporting the estimation of an overall 96.02% of protection rate against severe/critical disease in the 4854 cases in our BA.2.2 patient cohort with traceable vaccination records.Furthermore, even though age was a critical risk factor of the severity of COVID-19 post BA.2.2 infection,vaccination-elicited protection against severe/critical COVID-19 reached 90.15% in patients aged≥60 years old.Together, our study delineates the pathophysiological features of Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages and demonstrates significant protection conferred by prior prototype-based inactivated vaccines.Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Wei Zhang Dongling Shi Yuhua Ma Dong Wei Junxiang Xi Sizhe Yang Xiaoguang Xu Di Tian Zhaoqing Zhu Mingquan Guo Lu Jiang Shuting Yu Shuai Wang Fangyin Jiang Yun Ling Shengyue Wang Saijuan Chen Feng Liu Yun Tan Xiaohong Fan 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:1
Space and Frequency Diversity Characterization of Mobile GNSS Receivers in Multipath Fading Channels显示文摘Diversity reception of multipath Global Navigation Satellte System(GNSS)signals offers a new insight into carrier phase-based high-precision positioning. The focus of this paper is to demonstrate the fading independence between space and frequency diversity GNSS signals. In harsh urban environments, multipath components arrive to the mobile receiver antenna with different phases and Doppler shifts, therefore giving rise to the discontinuity of code and Doppler observations and large tracking errors. In this paper,an empirical model of fading GNSS signals is constructed, including power fluctuations and spread metrics.Based on this model, real BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)signals from two GNSS dual-frequency antennas are characterized,at both information and signal level. The block processing algorithm is utilized for signal investigation. Results show that:(1)a high proportion of asynchronous loss-of-lock(around 16%)is experienced by observations of diversity signals;and(2)power fluctuations of fading signals are uncorrelated in frequency separated branches unconditionally, yet for space diversity signals the independency exists in dynamic fading channels only. The results above corroborate the significant potential gain of diversity reception, and could be further implemented in researches of diversity combined GNSS parameter estimation in dense fading conditions.Peirong Fan Xiaowei Cui Mingquan Lu 2020Tsinghua Science and Technology2020,25,2:1

Multifunctional Measurement System for High Precision Planetary Servo Gearhead显示文摘As an essential component of a servo system, mechanical properties of high precision planetary servo gearhead direct influence on the validation, stability and accuracy of the servo control system. However, mechanical properties measurement and assessment for high precision planetary servo gearhead is a time-consuming and tedious work, since current methodologies typically rely on various different specified systems. An integrated multifunctional measurement system SFJC-I is developed, which employs a torque sensor and a laser displacement transducer to simultaneously measure torque applied on servo gearhead and its corresponding torsional deformation. The measurement system depends on the accurate measurement of the relative displacement between input clamping system and output shaft of servo gearhead with a lever-type enlarging mechanism, rather than traditional optical dividing head and optical multisurface prism.Using interchangeable fixture system, the developed system capability to measure almost all series and specifications of high precision planetary servo gearhead is demonstrated. With proposed hardware platform configuration and developed measuring software, mechanical properties such as backlash, torsional stiffness, hysteresis plot and emergency stop torque, can be measured accurately and assessed reliably.A torsion test with standard circular specimen is carried out with the multifunctional measurement system. The result of test shows that the measurement error is within ±3σ and the measurement reliability is more than 99.97%.The problem of accurate measurement and reliable assessment of mechanical properties for high precision planetary servo gearhead is fully solved with the developed multifunctional measurement system.FAN Shuqian ZHANG Lili WANG Lei SHI Mingquan 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,2:0
Investigation of electrostatically tunable adhesion and instability of flying head slider显示文摘The interfacial adhesion between microstructures is inevitable in a micro-electro-mechanical system(e.g.,hard disk drive(HDD)),which may lead to complicated microtribodynamics problems. This research has investigated the effect of surface potential on the interfacial adhesion and microtribodynamics of the head–disk interface(HDI)in an HDD.A dynamic continuum surface force model, where the electrowetting is considered,is proposed to evaluate the interfacial interaction, and then employed into a two-degree-of-freedom(2DOF)model to theoretically analyze the potential influence mechanism on the microtribodynamics. The results confirm that the elimination of potential can effectively repress the adhesion retention, which is further proved by the measured slider response with a laser Doppler vibrometer(LDV).Moreover, the effect of the potential on the adhesion-induced instability is also analyzed through the phase portrait. It tells that the critical stable flying height can be lowered with the elimination of potential.Fan ZHANG Yu WANG Yueqiang HU Mingquan ZHANG Baotong LI 2024Friction2024,12,3:0
