| 1 | Friction and wear behaviors of MoS2-multi-walled-carbonnanotube hybrid reinforced polyurethane composite coating显示文摘MoS2-multi-walled-carbon-nanotube(MWCNT)hybrids containing two-dimensional MoS2 and one-dimensional MWCNTs were synthesized through a one-step hydrothermal reaction.X-ray-diffraction and transmission-electron-microscopy results demonstrated that MoS2 nanosheets were successfully synthesized,and uniformly anchored on the MWCNTs’surfaces.Furthermore,the effects of the Mo S2-MWCNT hybrids on the tribological performances of polyurethane composite coatings were investigated using a UMT-2MT tribo-tester.Friction and wear test results revealed that the friction coefficient and wear rate of a 3 wt%Mo S2-MWCNT-1 filled polyurethane composite coating were reduced by 25.6% and 65.5%,respectively.The outstanding tribological performance of the MoS2-MWCNT-1 reinforced polyurethane composite coating was attributed to the excellent load-carrying capacity of the MWCNTs and good lubricant ability of MoS2.The surface morphologies of the worn surfaces and counterpart ball surfaces were investigated to reveal the wear mechanisms. | Zhaozhu ZHANG Mingming YANG Junya YUAN Fang GUO Xuehu MEN | 2019 | Friction2019,7,4: | 7 |

| 3 | Modeling and analysis of cantilever beam with active-passive hybrid piezoelectric network显示文摘The active-passive hybrid piezoelectric network (APPN) is investigated to reduce the vibration of cantilever beam. Hamilton's principle with the Rayleigh-Ritz method is used to derive the equations of motion of the beam with the APPN. Only one piezoelectric actuator is bonded on the cantilever beam, so in the segment of the beam where the piezoelectric actuator is attached, the neutral axis is not the geometric center of the beam. This change on the neutral axis is considered in the process of deriving equations. Selecting RL circuit as passive shunt circuit, open-loop analysis is performed to gain insight into the passive damping features. Velocity feedback control is then employed to analyze the characteristics of the closed-loop system. Numerical results show that the APPN has a significant effect on vibration suppression, especially at narrow frequency bands. On this basis, variable RL circuit is proposed and analyzed for broadband vibration attenuation. | 6 | Myocardin-related transcription factor A cooperates with brahmarelated gene 1 to activate P-selectin transcription显示文摘Expression of P-selectin in injured or activated endothelia cells serves as a permissive step towards leukocyte recruitment and perpetuation of inflammation in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.P-selectin can be induced by pro-inflammatory stimuli via the transcription factor NF-κB,but the epigenetic mechanisms remain incompletely understood.Previously we reported that myocardin-related transcription factor A(MRTF-A)mediates the transactivation of a slew of adhesion molecules by oxidized low-density lipoprotein(oxLDL),likely through a crosstalk with brahma-related gene 1(BRGl),a chromatin remodeling protein.Here,we show that MRTF-A was both sufficient and necessary for the transactivation of P-selectin gene in endothelial cells treated with TNF-α.Depletion of MRTF-A using small interfering RNA(siRNA)abrogated the binding of BRGl on the P-selectin promoter.Overexpression of BRG1 up-regulated the activity of P-selectin promoter activity while BRGl knockdown attenuated P-selectin expression.Finally,BRGl silencing suppressed the accumulation of acetylated histone H3 and methylated histone H3K4,and altered the binding of NF-κB on the P-selectin promoter.Therefore,our data demonstrate an essential role for MRTF-A and BRGl in P-selectin transactivation in endothelial cells. | Mingzi Song Mingming Fang Liming Yu Yong Xu | 2016 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,1: | 2 |

Pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4(Pdk4) is a key enzyme involved in fatty oxidation and energy expenditure, and its expression can be repressed by pro-inflammatory stimuli.Previously, we have shown that class II transactivator(CIITA) mediates the adverse effect of interferon gamma(IFN-y) in skeletal muscle cells by cooperating with hypermethylated in cancer 1(HIC1) to repress silent informa?tion regulator 1(SIRT1) transcription. Building upon this finding, we report here that CIITA interacted with HIC1 via the GTP-binding domain(GBD) while HIC1 interacted with CIITA via the BTB/POZ domain. The GBD domain was required for CIITA to repress SIRT1 transcription probably acting as a bridge for CIITA to bind to HIC1 and consequently to bind to the SIRT1 promoter. IFN-y stimulation, CIITA over-expression, or HIC1 overexpression repressed Pdk4 promoter activity while silencing either CIITA or HIC1 normalized Pdk4 expression in the presence of IFN-y. An increase in SIRT1 expression or activity partially rescued Pdk4 expression in the pre?sence of CIITA, but SIRT1 inhibition abrogated Pdk4 normalization even in the absence of CIITA. | 8 | Rapid estimation of soil heavy metal nickel content based on optimized screening of near-infrared spectral bands显示文摘In near-infrared spectroscopy,the traditional feature band extraction method has certain limitations.Therefore,a band extraction method named the three-step extraction method was proposed.This method combines characteristic absorption bands and correlation coefficients to select characteristic bands corresponding to various spectral forms and then uses stepwise regression to eliminate meaningless variables.Partial least squares regression(PLSR)and extreme learning machine(ELM)models were used to verify the effect of the band extraction method.Results show that the differential transformation of the spectrum can effectively improve the correlation between the spectrum and nickel(Ni)content.Most correlation coefficients were above 0.7 and approximately 20%higher than those of other transformation methods.The model effect established by the feature variable selection method based on comprehensive spectral transformation is only slightly affected by the spectral transformation form.Infive types of spectral transformation,the RPD values of the proposed method were all within the same level.The RPD values of the PLSR model were concentrated between 1.6 and 1.8,and those of the ELM model were between 2.5 and2.9,indicating that this method is beneficial for extracting more complete spectral features.The combination of the three-step extraction method and ELM algorithm can effectively retain important bands associated with the Ni content of the soil.The model based on the spectral band selected by the three-step extraction method has better prediction ability than the other models.The ELM model of the first-order differential transformation has the best prediction accuracy(RP^2=0.923,RPD=3.634).The research results provide some technical support for monitoring heavy metal content spectrum in local soils. | Qian Lu Shijie Wang Xiaoyong Bai Fang Liu Shiqi Tian Mingming Wang Jinfeng Wang | 2020 | Acta Geochimica2020,39,1: | 2 |

| 18 | MKL1 mediates TNF-α induced pro-inflammatory transcription by bridging the crosstalk between BRG1 and WDR5显示文摘Tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-a) is a cytokine that can potently stimulate the synthesis of a range of proinflammatory mediators in macrophages. The underlying epigenetic mechanism, however, is underexplored. Here we report that the transcriptional modulator megakaryocytic leukemia 1(MKL1) is associated with a histone H3 K4 methyltransferase activity. Re-ChIP assay suggests that MKL1 interacts with and recruits WDR5, a component of the COMPASS complex responsible for H3 K4 methylation, to the promoter regions of pro-inflammatory genes in macrophages treated with TNF-α. WDR5 enhances the ability of MKL1 to stimulate the promoter activities of proinflammatory genes. In contrast, silencing of WDR5 attenuates TNF-a induced production of pro-inflammatory mediators and erases the H3 K4 methylation from the gene promoters. Of interest, the chromatin remodeling protein BRG1 also plays an essential role in maintaining H3 K4 methylation on MKL1 target promoters by interacting with WDR5. MKL1 knockdown disrupts the interaction between BRG1 and WDR5.
