| 2 | Prevalence of Atrial Fibrillation in China and Its Risk Factors显示文摘Objective To study the prevalence of atrial fibrillation(AF)and the relation with its risk factors in China.Methods A total of 19 363 participants(8635 males and 10 728 females) aged ≥35 years in geographically dispersed urban and rural regions of China were included in this cross-sectional survey.All participants received questionnaire,physical and blood examination.Echocardiography were performed for AF patients found in the survey.Results Of the 19 363 participants,199 were diagnosed with AF.The estimated age-standardized prevalence of AF was 0.78% in men and 0.76% in women.The prevalence of AF in participants aged <60 years was 0.41% in men and 0.43% in women,and was 1.83% in both men and women aged ≥60 years.About 19.0% of males and 30.9% of females with AF were diagnosed with valve disease.Age-and sex-adjusted multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that myocardial infarction,left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH),obesity,and alcohol consumption were associated with a increased risk of AF(P<0.05).Conclusion The age standardized prevalence of AF is 0.77% in the participants enrolled in the present study.The number of AF cases aged ≥35 years is 5.26 million according to 2010 Chinese Census.Most risk factors for AF,identified mainly in Western countries,are also detected in China. | LI Ying WU Yang Feng CHEN Ke Ping LI Xian ZHANG Xing XIE Gao Qiang WANG Fang Zheng ZHANG Shu | 2013 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013，26，9： | 48 |

| 4 | Blocking NF-kB nuclear translocation leads to p53-related autophagy activation and cell apoptosis显示文摘AIM: To investigate the anti-tumor effects of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) inhibitor SN50 and related mechanisms of SGC7901 human gastric carcinoma cells. METHODS: MTT assay was used to determine the cytotoxic effects of SN50 in gastric cancer cell line SGC7901. Hoechst 33258 staining was used to detect apoptosis morphological changes after SN50 treatment. Activation of autophagy was monitored with monodansylcadaverine (MDC) staining after SN50 treatment.Immunofluorescence staining was used to detect the expression of light chain 3 (LC3). Mitochondrial membrane potential was measured using the fluorescent probe JC-1. Western blotting analysis were used to determine the expression of proteins involved in apoptosis and autophagy including p53, p53 upregulated modulator of apoptosis (PUMA), damage-regulated autophagy modulator (DRAM), LC3 and Beclin 1. We detected the effects of p53-mediated autophagy activation on the apoptosis of SGC7901 cells with the p53 inhibitor pifithrin-α. RESULTS: The viability of SGC7901 cells was inhibited after SN50 treatment. Inductions in the expression of apoptotic protein p53 and PUMA as well as autophagic protein DRAM, LC3 and Beclin 1 were detected with Western blotting analysis. SN50-treated cells exhibited punctuate microtubule-associated protein 1 LC3 in immunoreactivity and MDC-labeled vesicles increased after treatment of SN50 by MDC staining. Collapse of mitochondrial membrane potential Δψ were detected for 6 to 24 h after SN50 treatment. SN50-induced increases in PUMA, DRAM, LC3 and Beclin 1 and cell death were blocked by the p53 specific inhibitor pifithrin-α. | 9 | Effcts of Irrigation Patterns and Nitrogen Fertilization on Rice Yield and Microbial Community Structure in Paddy Soil显示文摘Water and nitrogen (N) are considered the most important factors affecting rice production and play vital roles in regulating soil microbial biomass, activity, and community. The effects of irrigation patterns and N fertilizer levels on the soil microbial community structure and yield of paddy rice were investigated in a pot experiment. The experiment was designed with four N levels of 0 (N0), 126 (N1), 157.5 (N2), and 210 kg N ha-1 (N3) under two irrigation patterns of continuous water-logging irrigation (WLI) and water-controlled irrigation (WCI). Phospholipid fatty acid (PLFA) analysis was conducted to track the dynamics of soil microbial communities at tillering, grain-filling, and maturity stages. The results showed that the maximums of grain yield, above-ground biomass, and total N uptake were all obtained in the N2 treatment under WCI. Similar variations in total PLFAs, as well as bacterial and fungal PLFAs, were found, with an increase from the tillering to the grain-filling stage and a decrease at the maturity stage except for actinomycetic PLFAs, which decreased continuously from the tillering to the maturity stage. A shift in composition of the microbial community at different stages of the plant growth was indicated by principal component analysis (PCA), in which the samples at the vegetative stage (tillering stage) were separated from those at the reproductive stage (grain-filling and maturity stages). Soil microbial biomass, measured as total PLFAs, was significantly higher under WCI than that under WLI mainly at the grain-filling stage, whereas the fungal PLFAs detected under WCI were significantly higher than those under WLI at the tillering, grain-filling, and maturity stages. The application of N fertilizer also significantly increased soil microbial biomass and the main microbial groups both under WLI and WCI conditions. | 12 | Identification of immunoreactive proteins of Brucella melitensis by immunoproteomics显示文摘Infection with Brucella causes brucellosis, a chronic disease in humans, which induces abortion and sterility in livestock. Among the different Brucella species, Brucella melitensis is considered the most virulent and is the predominant species associated with outbreaks in China. To date, no safe human vaccine is available against Brucella infection. The currently used live vaccines against Brucella in livestock induce antibodies that interfere with the diagnosis of field infection in vaccinated animals, which is harmful to eradication programs. However, there is as yet no complete profile of immunogenic proteins of B. melitensis. Towards the development of a safer, equally efficacious, and field infection-distinguishable vaccine, we used immunoproteomics to identify novel candidate immunogenic proteins from B. melitensis M5. Eighty-eight immunoreactive protein spots from B. melitensis M5 were identified by Western blotting and were assigned to sixty-one proteins by mass spectrometry, including many new immunoreactive proteins such as elongation factor G, F0F1 ATP synthase subunit beta, and OMP1. | 16 | Heterotic Group Classification of 63 Inbred Lines and Hybrid Purity Identification by Using SSR Markers in Winter Cabbage(Brassica Oleracea L. var. capitata)显示文摘Winter cabbage is an important crop cultivated through winter in the region near the Yangtze River, enabling the supply of fresh cabbage there at that time of year. However, a problem has emerged regarding the newly developed parents of winter cabbage, which is completely different from spring and autumn cabbage, namely, how to combine these parents to breed an elite hybrid. To classify the heterotic groups and improve the efficiency of parent selection in winter cabbage breeding, 20 polymorphic SSR markers were selected to screen 63 winter cabbage inbred lines. Seventeen pairs among the 20 SSR markers amplified polymorphic bands. These primers amplified two to six bands,with an average of 2.8 bands per primer, and a total of 47 polymorphic bands were generated in the 63 inbred lines. These lines included flatheaded morphotype and round-headed morphotype, thus they were separately classified into heterotic groups based on the SSR markers. The flat-headed morphotype contained 21 inbred lines and was classified into three heterotic groups, named Hanchun 4, Jiali, and Dongsheng, in accordance with the representative germplasm contained in each group. The round-headed morphotype contained 42 inbred lines and was classified into five heterotic groups, named Parte, Bejo1039, YK-143, SCA002, and Golden B90. Meanwhile, parent analysis of 20 developed elite combinations showed that their parents were all distributed in different heterotic groups, indicating that the group classification was reasonable,which can provide a basis for further parent selection in winter cabbage breeding. | 18 | Data processing and initial results of Chang'e-3 lunar penetrating radar显示文摘To improve our understanding of the formation and evolution of the Moon,one of the payloads onboard the Chang'e-3(CE-3) rover is Lunar Penetrating Radar(LPR). This investigation is the first attempt to explore the lunar subsurface structure by using ground penetrating radar with high resolution. We have probed the subsurface to a depth of several hundred meters using LPR. In-orbit testing, data processing and the preliminary results are presented. | 19 | CP-25 reverses prostaglandin E4 receptor desensitization-induced fibroblast-like synoviocyte dysfunction via the G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 in autoimmune arthritis显示文摘Paeoniflorin-6’-O-benzene sulfonate (CP-25) is a novel compound derived from paeoniflorin that has been demonstrated to have therapeutic effects in a rat model of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, the underlying mechanism has not been elucidated to date. We explored this mechanism in the present study by treating rats with adjuvant arthritis (AA) with CP-25. We found that the membrane EP4 protein level was downregulated;whereas, GRK2 was upregulated, inflbroblast-like synoviocyte (FLS)s of AA rats. Prostaglandin (PGE)2 stimulated FLS proliferation and enhanced the membrane EP4 receptor protein level;the latter was reversed by the administration of an EP4 receptor agonist, whereas the membrane GRK2 protein level gradually increased. The changes in the EP4 receptor and GRK2 expression were enhanced by TNF-α, and the former was accompanied by an alteration in the cyclic (c) AMP level. The EP4 receptor agonist stimulation increased the association between GRK2 and the EP4 receptor. GRK2 knockdown abrogated the abnormalities in FLS proliferation. The CP-25 treatment (100 mg/kg) suppressed joint infiammation with an efficacy that was similar to that of methotrexate. This finding was associated with EP4 upregulation and GRK2 downregulation in FLSs. Thus, GRK2 plays an important role in the abnormal FLS proliferation observed in AA possibly by promoting EP4 receptor desensitization and decreasing the cAMP level. | 20 | An Optimal Coordination Control Strategy of Micro-Grid Inverter and Energy Storage Based on Variable Virtual Inertia and Damping of VSG显示文摘The virtual inertia and virtual damping affect both the dynamic stability of the virtual synchronous generator(VSG)and the configuration of energy storage,but there is a conflict between them while selecting the virtual inertia and virtual damping.An optimal coordination control strategy of micro-grid inverter and energy storage based on variable virtual inertia and damping is proposed to mitigate this conflict.With the integrated optimal constraint of the VSG frequency variation and the energy storage capacity,the virtual inertia and damping of VSG are configured dynamically,adopting linear quadratic optimal control.It can suppress the oscillations of the active power and frequency to improve the stability of VSG and optimally configure the energy storage capacity of VSG simultaneously.The proposed strategy aims to improve the control performance of micro-grid inverter and the system economy.The simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the strategy. | Xing Zhang Fubin Mao Haizhen Xu Fang Liu Ming Li | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2017，3，3： | 10 |
