2Computational Prediction and Identification of Epstein-Barr Virus Latent Membrane Protein 2A Antigen-Specific CD8^+ T-Cell Epitopes显示文摘Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) associated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a high incidence tumor in Southeast Asia. Among EBV encoded proteins, latent membrane protein 2A (LMP2A) is an important antigen for T cell therapy of EBV. In this study, we predicted six HLA-A2 restricted CTL candidate epitopes of LMP2A by SYFPEITHI, NetMHC and MHCPred methods combined with the polynomial method. Subsequently, biological functions of these peptides were tested by experiments in vitro. In ELISPOT assay, the positive response of the LMP2A specific CTL stimulated by three (LMP2A264-272, LMP2A426-434 and LMP2A356-364) of six peptides respectively showed that the numbers of spots forming cells (SFC) ranged from 55.7 to 80.6 SFC/5 × 104 CD8+ T cells and the responding index (RI) ranged from 5.4 to 7. These three epitope-specific CTLs could effectively kill specific HLA-A2-expressing target cells. As a result, LMP2A264-272 (QLSPLLGAV), LMP2A426-434 (CLGGLLTMV) and LMP2A356-364 (FLYALALLL) were identified as LMP2A-specific CD8+ T-cell epitopes. 3Porous V2O5 nanofibers as cathode materials for rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries are recently gaining incremental attention because of low cost and material abundance, but their development is plagued by limited choice of cathode materials with satisfactory cycling performance. Here, we report a porous V2O5 nanofibers cathode with high Znstorage performance in an aqueous Zn(CF3SO3)2 electrolyte. We propose a reaction mechanism based on phase transition from orthorhombic V2O5 to zinc pyrovanadate on first discharging and reversible Zn^2+ (de)intercalation in the open-structured hosts during subsequent cycling. This open and stable architecture enables a high reversible capacity of 319 mAh g^-1 at 20 mAg^-1 and a capacity retention of 81% over 500 cycles. 5A quantum-chemical study on the discharge reaction mechanism of lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries have attracted a great interest in electrochemical energy conversion and storage, but their discharge mechanism remains not well understood up to now. Here, we report density functional theory (DFT) calculation study of the discharge mechanism for lithium-sulfur batteries which are based on the structure of S8 and Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters. The results show that for Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters, the most stable geometry is chainlike when x = 1 and 6, while the minimal-energy structure is found to be cyclic when x = 2-5, 7,8. The stability of Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters increases with the decreasing x value, indicating a favorable thermodynamic tendency of transition from S8 to Li2S. A three-step reaction route has been proposed during the discharge process, that is, S8 →Li2S4 at about 2.30 V, Li2S4 →Li2S2 at around 2.22 V, and Li2S2 → Li2S at 2.18 V. Furthermore, the effect of the electrolyte on the potential platform has been also investigated. The discharge potential is found to increase with the decrease of dielectric constant of the electrolyte. 6Durable and Flexible Bio-assembled RGO-BC/BC Bilayer Electrodes for Pressure Sensing显示文摘The new generation of electronics tends to be well-performed,facile and environmentally friendly.Here,we report a bio-assembled sensitive pressure senor based on reduced graphene oxide-bacterial cellulose/bacterial cellulose(RGO-BC/BC)bilayer films,integrated by bacteria in one step.The advantage of this integration is that there is strong nanofiber connection between the conductive RGO-BC and insulative highly compressible porous BC layer,which confers RGO-BC/BC film electrode with good robustness,tailorability,flexibility and wearability.Without extra bonding-interface or postprocessing,the RGO-BC/BC bilayer films could be directly assembled into pressure sensing devices.Ascribed from the good reversible compressibility of the BC layer and incorporated bilayer structure,the pressure sensor performs good sensitivity and excellent durability and bending stability.The facile sensitive capacitive sensor could monitor the human hand or finger motion in real time.The sensing array is able to detect the spatial distribution of pressure mounted in the flat plane as well as curved surface of human body,succeeding in the correction of human walking posture for health care.The e-skins are potential in wearable electronics,artificial intelligence,soft robots,healthcare etc.Fangyi Guan Zhiliang Han Mengtian Jin Zhuotong Wu Ye Chen Shiyan Chen Huaping Wang 2021Advanced Fiber Materials2021,3,2:2

8Cell-nucleus structured electrolyte for low-temperature aqueous zinc batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous zinc(Zn) batteries hold great promise for large-scale energy storage,but their implementation is plagued by poor Zn reversibility and unsatisfactory low-temperature performance.Herein,we design a cell-nucleus structured electrolyte by introducing low-polarity 1,2-dimethoxyethane(DME) into dilute 1 M zinc trifluoromethanesulfonate(Zn(OTf)_(2)) aqueous solution,which features an OTf--rich Zn2^(+)-primary solvation sheath(PSS,inner nucleus) and the DMEmodulated Zn^(2+)-outer solvation sheath(outer layer).We find that DME additives with a low dosage do not participate in the Zn2+-PSS but reinforce the Zn-OTf-coordination,which guarantees good reaction kinetics under ultralow temperatures.Moreover,DME breaks the original H-bonding network of H2O,depressing the freezing point of electrolyte to-52.4℃.Such a cell-nucleus-solvation structure suppresses the H_(2)O-induced side reactions and forms an anion-derived solid electrolyte interphase on Zn and can be readily extended to 1,2-diethoxyethane.The as-designed electrolyte enables the Zn electrode deep cycling stability over 3500 h with a high depth-of-discharge of 51.3% and endows the Zn‖V_(2)O_(5)full battery with stable cycling over 1000 cycles at 40℃.This work would inspire the solvation structure design for low-temperature aqueous batteries.Yang Dong Ning Zhang Zhaodong Wang Jinhan Li Youxuan Ni Honglu Hu Fangyi Cheng 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,8:2
9Gap junction gene innexin3 being highly expressed in the nervous system and embryonic stage of the mud crab Scylla paramamosain显示文摘Innexin proteins are a class of transmembrane proteins existing in invertebrates and they have diverse biological functions. The innexin protein Sp-inx2 has been demonstrated to play roles in immune response and promotion of cell apoptosis in the mud crab Scylla paramamosain . One novel innexin gene, named as Sp-inx3 was characterized from S. paramamosin in this study, with an open reading frame of 1 101 bp encoding 367 amino acid residues. Multiple sequence alignment revealed that the Sp-inx3 is highly homologous with innexin3 of Cancer boredis and Homorus americanus . Quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and the western blotting results revealed that Sp-inx3 gene was expressed predominantly in the eyestalk, brain, and thoracic ganglion mass in both female and male crabs. The immunohistochemistry assay (IHC) also showed the widespread and intense immunoreactivity of Sp-inx3 in the brain and thoracic ganglion mass. Sp-inx3 mRNA transcription profi les exhibited signifi cantly higher expression from the embryo1 to embryo4 period and low level of expression at the prehatching period and zoea I larva period of S . paramamosain . 10Polypyrrole-cobalt-carbon nanocomposites as efficient counter electrode materials for dye-sensitized solar cells显示文摘In this work, we demonstrate a new kind of Pt-free counter electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells(DSCs). Polypyrrole-cobalt-carbon(PPY-Co-C) nanocomposites, with the advantages of low cost and simple preparation, show favorable catalytic activity in promoting tri-iodide reduction. The DSC composed of the PPY-Co-C nanocomposite electrode exhibits an acceptable energy conversion efficiency of 6.01%, a considerable short-circuit photocurrent of 15.33 mA cm-2, and a low charge-transfer resistance of 1.5 Ω cm2. 17Anionic formulation of electrolyte additive towards stable electrocatalytic oxygen evolution in seawater splitting显示文摘Hydrogen generation through seawater electrolysis provides a promising,attractive pathway towards the utilization of sustainable energy.However,the catalytic activity and stability of oxygen evolution anode are severely limited by the chloride-induced corrosion and competitive oxidation reactions.In this work,we demonstrate an anion-assisted performance improvement strategy by quick and universal screening of electrolyte additive via correlating Cl-repellency with the anionic properties.Particularly,the addition of phosphate ions is found to enable highly stable alkaline seawater splitting at industry-level current density(0.5 A cm^(-2))over 500 h using transition metal hydroxides as anodic electrocatalysts.In situ experiments and theoretical simulations further reveal that the dynamic anti-corrosion behaviors of surface-adsorbed phosphate ions are attributed to three factors including repelling Cl-ions without significantly blocking OH-diffusion,preventing transition metal dissolution and acting as a local pH buffer to compensate the fast OH-consumption under high current electrolysis.Meng Yu Jinhan Li Fangming Liu Jiuding Liu Wence Xu Honglu Hu Xijie Chen Weichao Wang Fangyi Cheng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:1

20The Electrochemical Tuning of Transition Metal-Based Materials for Electrocatalysis显示文摘The development of clean and sustainable energy depends largely on electrocatalysis-driven technologies.Because of this,tremendous efforts have been devoted to the search for efficient electrocatalysts to reduce the overpotential and increase the selectivity of electrochemical reactions.Of the various approaches,electrochemical tuning is seen as a promising tech-nique to controllably tune the properties of catalytic materials under mild conditions.Based on this,this review will present representative electrochemical tuning methodologies involving insertion and conversion reactions in batteries as well as in situ electrode modulation during electrocatalysis processes.This review will first provide an introduction of electrochemi-cal tuning strategies from the perspective of reactions and devices.Subsequently,this review will present comprehensive discussions on recent advancements in the modulation of various electrocatalyst properties,including electronic structure,crystalline phase,lattice strain and dimensional size,all of which significantly impact corresponding intrinsic activity and active site exposure.This review will also highlight the merits,challenges and issues of electrochemical tuning and propose promising directions in the exploration of corresponding methods in the design and enhancement of electrocatalysts for future energy applications.Fangming Liu Le Zhang Lei Wang Fangyi Cheng 2021Electrochemical Energy Reviews2021,4,1:1
