1The age of the base of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton: SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of basaltic andesite显示文摘Basalt and basaltic andesite metamorphosed at greenschist facies occurs with conglomerate layers at the bottom of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton. Detailed geological surveying confirms that these volcanic rocks are conformable within the neighboring sedimentary rocks. The SHRIMP results on basaltic andesite are divided into two groups. In one group the 207Pb/206Pb ages are from 2433 to 2558 Ma, which is consistent with the basement crustal age in Fuping and Wutai areas. In the other group, 13 grains yielded a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 2140±14 Ma. The latter is interpreted as the eruption age of the basaltic andesite, and gives the age of the base of the Hutuo Group. 3High-security-level multi-dimensional optical storage medium:nanostructured glass embedded with LiGa_(5)O_(8):Mn^(2+) with photostimulated luminescence显示文摘The launch of the big data era puts forward challenges for information preservation technology,both in storage capacity and security.Herein,a brand new optical storage medium,transparent glass ceramic(TGC)embedded with photostimulated LiGa5O8:Mn2+nanocrystals,capable of achieving bit-by-bit optical data write-in and read-out in a photon trapping/detrapping mode,is developed.The highly ordered nanostructure enables light–matter interaction with high encoding/decoding resolution and low bit error rate.Importantly,going beyond traditional 2D optical storage,the high transparency of the studied bulk medium makes 3D volumetric optical data storage(ODS)possible,which brings about the merits of expanded storage capacity and improved information security.Demonstration application confirmed the erasable-rewritable 3D storage of binary data and display items in TGC with intensity/wavelength multiplexing.The present work highlights a great leap in photostimulated material for ODS application and hopefully stimulates the development of new multi-dimensional ODS media.Shisheng Lin Hang Lin Chonggeng Ma Yao Cheng Sizhe Ye Fulin Lin Renfu Li Ju Xu Yuansheng Wang 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:12
4Silurian Seismites in Hanxia,Yumen,North Qilian Mountains,and Their Tectonic Significance显示文摘The Caledonian orogenic belt of the North Qilian Mountains is anintensely active structure belt. In the process of the Late Caledonian syn-orogeny, the North Qilian-Hexi Corridor area was situated on the tectonic background of a syn-orogenic basin. In response to the orogenic process of the North Qilian Mountains, typical earthquake event deposits-seismites of the Silurian were widely distributed around Hanxia of Yumen City, the Liyuan River of Sunan County and Biandukou of Minle County. In the Hanxia area, where seismites are typically developed, clastic deposits of tidal-flat facies are the background deposits of the Hanxia Formation. The earthquake event deposits are characterized by sandy mudstone veins, synsedimentary microfractures, micro-corrugated laminations and earthquake breccias, which in turn constitute complex seismites, featuring seismic corrugation, shattering and liquefied sandy mudstone veins, auto clastic breccias and intraclastic parabreccias. 6Provenance of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group basal conglomerates and Neoarchean crustal growth in the Wutai Mountains,North China Craton:Evidence from granite and quartzite pebble zircon U-Pb ages and Hf isotopes显示文摘Zircon U-Pb ages(SHRIMP and LA-ICPMS) and Lu-Hf isotope data(LA-ICPMS) are presented for two granite and two quartzite pebbles from the basal conglomerates of the Sijizhuang Formation in the Hutuo Group from the Wutai Mountains area in the North China Craton.These two granite pebbles give zircon 207 Pb/206 Pb ages of 2513±8 Ma and 2527±8 Ma respectively,which are consistent with the emplacement ages of the Wangjiahui grey granite and Guangmingsi or Shifo granite in the Wutai Mountains.Detrital zircons from those two quartzite pebbles are mostly 2550-2490 Ma old with lesser number of 2800-2550 Ma grains,which is similar to the ages of detrital zircons from quartzites in the Gaofan Subgroup of the Neoarchean Wutai Group.Thus,the pebbles in the Hutuo Group basal conglomerates were derived locally from Wutai Mountains Neoarchean sources.Zircons from the Sijizhuang Formation conglomerate granite and quartzite pebbles mostly have positive ε Hf(t) values,a minority with ε Hf(t) values like model depleted mantle(DM) of the same age,but with most showing DM model ages 200-100 Ma.This indicates that most of the source materials were derived from the mantle within the previous 200 million years,whereas some are derived from 2550-2510 Ma juvenile crustal additions.This additional evidence suggests that in the North China Craton there was important initial polycyclic crustal formation and cratonization in the late Neoarchaean,prior to superimposed Palaeoproterozoic orogenic cycles.DU LiLin YANG ChongHui WANG Wei REN LiuDong WAN YuSheng SONG HuiXia GAO LinZhi GENG YuanSheng HOU KeJun 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,11:8
7Stress-induced CsPbBr3 nanocrystallization on glass surface:Unexpected mechanoluminescence and applications显示文摘In this work,we discovered an unexpected mechanoluminescence (ML) phenomena occurring when transforming amorphous into crystalline,due to the stress-induced precipitation of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals on glass surface.It is revealed that,unlike the conventional thermal-induced phase transformation mechanism,the breakage of bonding of glass network provides the energy for nucleation and growth,and the shear stress avoids the long-range migration of structural units for crystallization.Such unique ML phenomenon enables the visualization of dynamical force that is inaccessible by common strategy,and so,opens up some novel applications,such as the pressure-sensitive 'glassy pencil' to learn people's writing habits,and the pb^2+-detection with good sensitivity and selectivity.These findings not only demonstrate an effective route for the preparation of perovskite materials in a green,time-saving,low cost,and scalable way,enrich the knowledge of glass crystallization mechanism,but also exploit a useful avenue to quantitatively visualize the dynamical force.Xiaoqiang Xiang Hang Lin Renfu Li Yao Cheng Qingming Huang Ju Xu Congyong Wang Xueyuan Chen Yuansheng Wang 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:8
8The role of transcriptional factor D-site-binding protein in circadian CCL2 gene expression in anti-Thy1 nephritis显示文摘Mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MsPGN)is an inflammatory disease,but both the nature of disease progression and its regulation remain unclear.In the present study,we monitored the course of anti-Thy1 nephritis from days 1 to 5 and established gene expression profiles at each time point using microarrays to explore the development of inflammation.According to the gene expression profiles,macrophage infiltration(triggered by CCL2 activation)was evident on day 1 and enhanced inflammation over the next few days.We screened for genes with expression levels similar to CCL2 and found that the upregulation of the circadian gene albumin D-site-binding protein(DBP)was involved in CCL2 activation in mesangial cells.More importantly,CCL2 expression showed oscillatory changes similar to DBP,and DBP induced peak CCL2 expression at 16:00 a clock on day 1 in the anti-Thy1 nephritis model.We knocked down DBP through transfection with a small interfering RNA(siRNA)and used RNA sequencing to identify the DBP-regulated TNF-α-CCL2 pathway.We performed chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing(ChIP-Seq)and the dual luciferase assay to show that DBP bound to the TRIM55 promoter,regulating gene expression and in turn controlling the TNF-α-CCL2 pathway.In conclusion,DBP-regulated circadian CCL2 expression by the TRIM55-TNF pathway in injured mesangial cells at an early stage,which promoted macrophage recruitment and in turn triggered infiltration and inflammation in a model of anti-Thy1 nephritis.Yang Lu Yan Mei Lei Chen Lingling Wu Xu Wang Yingjie Zhang Bo Fu Xizhao Chen Yuansheng Xie Guangyan Cai Xueyuan Bai Qinggang Li Xiangmei Chen 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,9:7
9Comparison of different phosphate species adsorption by ferric and alum water treatment residuals显示文摘As safe byproducts of drinking water treatment processes,ferric and alum water treatment residuals(FARs) have the potential to be new phosphate(P) immobilization materials.In this study,batch experiments were conducted to investigate and compare the adsorption characteristics of three P species by FARs.The results showed that the kinetic processes of different P species' adsorption by FARs could be described by a pseudo second-order model.The ranking list of the initial adsorption rates with respect to different phosphates was pyrophosphate,phytate,orthophosphate,hexametaphosphate and glycerophosphate.Of the six models considered,the two-site Langmuir model most effectively described the adsorption characteristics of the various P species.Upon fitting the results,the maximum adsorption capacities were determined to be 40.24 mg/g for phytate,18.04 mg/g for pyrophosphate,17.14 mg/g for orthophosphate,15.86 mg/g for hexametaphosphate and 10.81 mg/g for glycerophosphate.In addition,the adsorption processes of the different P species were spontaneous endothermic processes and were favored at lower pH values.The pH dependency was found to be especially true for orthophosphate,where the adsorption capacity decreased by 1.22 mg/g with an increase in pH from 5 to 9.Fractionation of the adsorbed P species from the FARs demonstrated that Al-P and Fe-P were the dominating forms,constituting approximately 80%-90% of the total P fractions,which indicated that the adsorbed P species had a low leaching risk and could stably exist in the FARs.Therefore,the FARs could be effective in controlling pollution in water caused by different P species.Sijia Gao Changhui Wang Yuansheng Pei 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,5:7

11Regional Scale Seismological Investigation on the Continent Crust Using Airgun Sources——A Perspective Review显示文摘The investigations on the structure and temporal variations of the continent crust have been the long-lasting topics of seismology. The artificial sources play the most important role in these studies for their well-known locations and occur times among all the sources producing elastic waves,so that precise results are obtained. In past decades,we have successfully excited the airgun sources in on-land water bodies such as reservoirs,expanding their applications in marine seismology. Large volume airguns have been used to produce low frequency signals which can travel hundreds of kilometers after stacking,providing a source connecting the exploration seismology and traditional seismology at regional scale. In this review,we introduce the changes through which we turn the airgun into scientific instruments by experiments. We also present the advances on imaging the continental crust structure and monitoring the velocity variations using the highly repeatable signals emitted by airgun sources. 12Concentration quenching in transparent glass ceramics containing Er^(3+):NaYF_4 nanocrystals显示文摘In this work, we have studied the concentration quenching in transparent glass ceramics containing Er3+:NaYF4 nanocrystals. For different concentrations, the emission spectra and decay curves of the 4I13/2→4I15/2 emission were measured. The Er-concentration dependence of integrated intensity and lifetime of 4I13/2→4I15/2 emission are showed. With the increase of the Er3+ doping concentration, the 1.5 m fluorescence emission first increases, then decreases, and the lifetime falls gradually. With 980 nm excitation, the efficiency of the energy transfer from Er3+ to quenching centers reaches 73.73% for the sample with 4 mol% Er3+. Meanwhile, owing to the relation of fluorescence integrated intensity and Er-concentration, a dipole-dipole quenching mechanism in the framework of a limited diffusion regime has been proved. Using the limited diffusion case, the critical concentration for quenching has been determined from a fitting equation of the lifetime and Er-concentration. 14The Construction of Active Source Repeated Monitoring in the Qilian Mountain, Gansu Province显示文摘The exciting source of the active source repeated monitoring is located in the Xiliushui Reservoir in Zhangye,Gansu Province. The system began operating normally on July 9,2015,and we had completed a period of 40 days of continuous excitation experiment before November 10,2015. Our results reveal that the airgun source has good consistency and repeatability,and the detective system of active source can record signal clearly. The construction of active source repeated exploration projects has achieved some results,which can provide valuable experience for the research of active source repeated exploration. 15Antarctic ice sheet GLIMMER model test and its simplified model on 2-dimensional ice flow显示文摘The 3-dimensional finite difference thermodynamic coupled model on Antarctic ice sheet,GLIMMER model,is described. An ide-alized ice sheet numerical test was conducted under the EISMINT-1 benchmark,and the characteristic curves of ice sheets under steady state were obtained. Based on this,this model was simplified from a 3-dimensional one to 2-dimensional one. Improvement of the dif-ference method and coordinate system was proposed. Evolution of the 2-dimensional ice flow was simulated under coupled temperature field conditions. The results showed that the characteristic curves deriving from the conservation of the mass,momentum and energy agree with the results of ice sheet profile simulated with GLIMMER model and with the theoretical results. 16Crustal velocity structure of central Gansu Province from regional seismic waveform inversion using firework algorithm显示文摘The firework algorithm(FWA) is a novel swarm intelligence-based method recently proposed for the optimization of multi-parameter, nonlinear functions. Numerical waveform inversion experiments using a synthetic model show that the FWA performs well in both solution quality and efficiency. We apply the FWA in this study to crustal velocity structure inversion using regional seismic waveform data of central Gansu on the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Seismograms recorded from the moment magnitude(MW) 5.4 Minxian earthquake enable obtaining an average crustal velocity model for this region. We initially carried out a series of FWA robustness tests in regional waveform inversion at the same earthquake and station positions across the study region,inverting two velocity structure models, with and without a low-velocity crustal layer; the accuracy of our average inversion results and their standard deviations reveal the advantages of the FWA for the inversion of regional seismic waveforms. We applied the FWA across our study area using three component waveform data recorded by nine broadband permanent seismic stations with epicentral distances ranging between 146 and 437 km. These inversion results show that the average thickness of the crust in this region is 46.75 km, while thicknesses of the sedimentary layer, and the upper, middle, and lower crust are 3.15,15.69, 13.08, and 14.83 km, respectively. 17Effect of Pulsed Magnetic Field on the Residual Stress of Rolled Magnium Alloy AZ31 Sheet显示文摘A novel method of pulsed magnetic field(PMF)treatment was developed to eliminate the residual stress of rolled magnesium alloy AZ31 sheet in this study.The eff ect of PMF on residual stress of rolled AZ31 sheet was investigated and its mechanism was analyzed.The experimental results revealed that the pulse frequency had a significant impact on residual stress.After 10.0 Hz PMF treatment,the average and maximum reduction rates of residual stress along the rolled direction were 26.6%and 30.3%,respectively.It was found that the dislocation density and parallel dislocation in grains of the rolled sheet increased after it was treated by the pulsed magnetic field.The simulation results showed that the Lorentz force generated by the pulsed magnetic field can lead to basal slip,thereby resulting in local plastic deformation.Besides,the Joule heat produced during the PMF treatment was conducive to the elimination of residual stress.Meng Yan Cong Wang Tianjiao Luo Yingju Li Xiaohui Feng Qiuyan Huang Yuansheng Yang 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,1:3
18SHRIMP zircon dating and LA-ICPMS Hf analysis of early Precambrian rocks from drill holes into the basement beneath the Central Hebei Basin,North China Craton显示文摘The Central Hebei Basin(CHB) is one of the largest sedimentary basins in the North China Craton,extending in a northeast-southwest direction with an area of >350 km2.We carried out SHRIMP zircon dating,Hf-in-zircon isotopic analysis and a whole-rock geochemical study on igneous and metasedimentary rocks recovered from drill holes that penetrated into the basement of the CHB.Two samples of gneissic granodiorite(XG1-1) and gneissic quartz diorite(J48-1) have magmatic ages of 2500 and2496 Ma.respectively.Their zircons also record metamorphic ages of 2.41-2.51 and 2.5 Ga,respectively.Compared with the gneissic granodiorite,the gneissic quartz diorite has higher ∑REE contents and lower Eu/Eu* and(La/Yb)n values.Two metasedimentary samples(MG1,H5) mainly contain 2.5 Ga detrital zircons as well as late Paleoproterozoic metamorphic grains.The zircons of different origins haveεHf(2.5 Ga) values and Hf crustal model ages ranging from 0 to 5 and 2.7 to 2.9 Ga.respectively.Therefore,2.5 Ga magmatic and Paleoproterozoic metasedimentary rocks and late Neoarchean to early Paleoproterozoic and late Paleoproterozoic tectono-thermal events have been identified in the basement beneath the CHB.Based on regional comparisons,we conclude that the early Precambrian basement beneath the CHB is part of the North China Craton.Yusheng Wan Xianzheng Zhao Zejiu Wang Dunyi Liu Alfred Krner Chunyan Dong Hangqian Xie Yuansheng Geng Yuhai Zhang Runlong Fan Huiyi Sun 2014Geoscience Frontiers2014,5,4:3
19Use of Fe/Al drinking water treatment residuals as amendments for enhancing the retention capacity of glyphosate in agricultural soils显示文摘Fe/Al drinking water treatment residuals(WTRs), ubiquitous and non-hazardous by-products of drinking water purification, are cost-effective adsorbents for glyphosate. Given that repeated glyphosate applications could significantly decrease glyphosate retention by soils and that the adsorbed glyphosate is potentially mobile, high sorption capacity and stability of glyphosate in agricultural soils are needed to prevent pollution of water by glyphosate.Therefore, we investigated the feasibility of reusing Fe/Al WTR as a soil amendment to enhance the retention capacity of glyphosate in two agricultural soils. The results of batch experiments showed that the Fe/Al WTR amendment significantly enhanced the glyphosate sorption capacity of both soils(p < 0.001). Up to 30% of the previously adsorbed glyphosate desorbed from the non-amended soils, and the Fe/Al WTR amendment effectively decreased the proportion of glyphosate desorbed. Fractionation analyses further demonstrated that glyphosate adsorbed to non-amended soils was primarily retained in the readily labile fraction(Na HCO3-glyphosate). The WTR amendment significantly increased the relative proportion of the moderately labile fraction(HCl-glyphosate) and concomitantly reduced that of the Na HCO3-glyphosate, hence reducing the potential for the release of soil-adsorbed glyphosate into the aqueous phase. Furthermore, Fe/Al WTR amendment minimized the inhibitory effect of increasing solution p H on glyphosate sorption by soils and mitigated the effects of increasing solution ionic strength. 20Influence of the inherent properties of drinking water treatment residuals on their phosphorus adsorption capacities显示文摘Batch experiments were conducted to investigate the phosphorus(P)adsorption and desorption on five drinking water treatment residuals(WTRs)collected from different regions in China.The physical and chemical characteristics of the five WTRs were determined.Combined with rotated principal component analysis,multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the inherent properties of the WTRs and their P adsorption capacities.The results showed that the maximum P adsorption capacities of the five WTRs calculated using the Langmuir isotherm ranged from 4.17 to8.20 mg/g at a p H of 7 and further increased with a decrease in p H.The statistical analysis revealed that a factor related to Al and 200 mmol/L oxalate-extractable Al(Alox)accounted for 36.5%of the variations in the P adsorption.A similar portion(28.5%)was attributed to an integrated factor related to the p H,Fe,200 mmol/L oxalate-extractable Fe(Feox),surface area and organic matter(OM)of the WTRs.However,factors related to other properties(Ca,P and 5 mmol/L oxalate-extractable Fe and Al)were rejected.In addition,the quantity of P desorption was limited and had a significant negative correlation with the(Feox+Alox)of the WTRs(p<0.05).Overall,WTRs with high contents of Alox,Feoxand OM as well as large surface areas were proposed to be the best choice for P adsorption in practical applications.Leilei Bai Changhui Wang Liansheng He Yuansheng Pei 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12:3
