1Integrated study of the water–ecosystem–economy in the Heihe River Basin显示文摘The ecological water diversion project in the Heihe River Basin is the irst successful case in China in which the ecological systems in a river basin have been rescued. his project serves as a valuable example for the management of ecosystems in other inland river basins. his paper reviews the integrated studies of the water–ecosystem–economy relationship in the Heihe River Basin and concludes that sustainable development in inland river basins requires the basin to be considered as a whole, with the relationships between the upstream, midstream and downstream areas of the basin coordinated appropriately. 2A survey on applications of semi-tensor product method in engineering显示文摘Semi-tensor product(STP) of matrices has attracted more and more attention from both control theory and engineering in the last two decades. This paper presents a comprehensive survey on the applications of STP method in engineering. 3Hydrothermal Synthesis of Molybdenum Disulfide for Lithium Ion Battery Applications显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide nanoflakes were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal process using sodium molybdate and thiourea as reactants at a relatively low temperature. X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission elec-tron microscopy(TEM) indicate that the samples have the structure of 2H-MoS2 and the morphology of nanoflakes with the average thickness around 5-10 nm. The results of electrochemical properties indicate that the morphology and size of MoS2 particles have effects on their capacity when they are used as the anode for lithium ion battery. The as-prepared MoS2 samples have high reversible discharge capacity up to 994.6 mA·h·g-1 for the MoS2-1 elec-trode and 930.1 mA·h·g-1 for the MoS2-2 electrode and show excellent cycling performances. 4Genome sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of Banna virus(genus Seadornavirus,family Reoviridae)isolated from Culicoides显示文摘In an investigation of blood-sucking insects and arboviruses, a virus(YN12243) was isolated from Culicoides samples collected in the Sino-Burmese border region of Yunnan Province, China. The virus caused cytopathic effect(CPE) in C6/36 cells and passaged stably. Polyacrylamide gel analysis showed that the genome of YN12243 was composed of 12 segments of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA), with a distribution pattern of 6-6. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of the coding region(1.12 segments) were17,803 bp and 5,925 amino acids in length, respectively. The phylogenetic analysis of VP1 protein(RdRp) revealed that YN12243 belonged to genus Seadornavirus of family Reoviridae, and further analysis indicated that YN12243 belongs to the Banna virus(BAV) genotype A2. Additionally, YN12243 was located in the same evolutionary cluster as BAV strains isolated from different mosquito species, suggesting that the BAV isolated from Culicoides does not have species barriers. These results indicate that Culicoides can also be a vector for BAV. 5Antagonism of Protease-Activated Receptor 4 Protects Against Traumatic Brain Injury by Suppressing Neuroinflammation via Inhibition of Tab2/NF-κB Signaling显示文摘Traumatic brain injury(TBI)triggers the activation of the endogenous coagulation mechanism,and a large amount of thrombin is released to curb uncontrollable bleeding through thrombin receptors,also known as protease-activated receptors(PARs).However,thrombin is one of the most critical factors in secondary brain injury.Thus,the PARs may be effective targets against hemorrhagic brain injury.Since the PAR1 antagonist has an increased bleeding risk in clinical practice,PAR4 blockade has been suggested as a more promising treatment.Here,we explored the expression pattern of PAR4 in the brain of mice after TBI,and explored the effect and possible mechanism of BMS-986120(BMS),a novel selective and reversible PAR4 antagonist on secondary brain injury.Treatment with BMS protected against TBI in mice.mRNA-seq analysis,Western blot,and qRT-PCR verification in vitro showed that BMS significantly inhibited thrombin-induced inflammation in astrocytes,and suggested that the Tab2/ERK/NF-κB signaling pathway plays a key role in this process.Our findings provide reliable evidence that blocking PAR4 is a safe and effective intervention for TBI,and suggest that BMS has a potential clinical application in the management of TBI.Jianing Luo Xun Wu Haixiao Liu Wenxing Cui Wei Guo Kang Guo Hao Guo Kai Tao Fei Li Yingwu Shi Dayun Feng Hao Yan Guodong Gao Yan Qu 2021Neuroscience Bulletin2021,37,2:5

8Exosomal PD-L1 induces osteogenic differentiation and promotes fracture healing by acting as an immunosuppressant显示文摘A moderate inflammatory response at the early stages of fracture healing is necessary for callus formation.Over-active and continuous inflammation,however,impairs fracture healing and leads to excessive tissue damage.Adequate fracture healing could be promoted through suppression of local over-active immune cells in the fracture site.In the present study,we achieved an enriched concentration of PD-L1 from exosomes(Exos)of a genetically engineered Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cell(HUVECs),and demonstrated that exosomes overexpressing PD-L1 specifically bind to PD-1 on the T cell surface,suppressing the activation of T cells.Furthermore,exosomal PD-L1 induced Mesenchymal Stem Cells(MSCs)towards osteogenic differentiation when pre-cultured with T cells.Moreover,embedding of Exos into an injectable hydrogel allowed Exos delivery to the surrounding microenvironment in a time-released manner.Additionally,exosomal PD-L1,embedded in a hydrogel,markedly promoted callus formation and fracture healing in a murine model at the early over-active inflammation phase.Importantly,our results suggested that activation of T cells in the peripheral lymphatic tissues was inhibited after local administration of PD-L1-enriched Exos to the fracture sites,while T cells in distant immune organs such as the spleen were not affected.In summary,this study provides the first example of using PD-L1-enriched Exos for bone fracture repair,and highlights the potential of Hydrogel@Exos systems for bone fracture therapy through immune inhibitory effects.Ze Lin Yuan Xiong Weilin Meng Yiqiang Hu Lili Chen Lang Chen Hang Xue Adriana CPanayi Wu Zhou Yun Sun Faqi Cao Guodong Liu Liangcong Hu Chenchen Yan Xudong Xie Chuanchuan Lin Kaiyong Cai Qian Feng Bobin Mi Guohui Liu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:4

10Inhibition of the CDK9-cyclin T1 protein-protein interaction as a new approach against triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Cyclin-dependent kinase 9(CDK9) activity is correlated with worse outcomes of triplenegative breast cancer(TNBC) patients. The heterodimer between CDK9 with cyclin T1 is essential for maintaining the active state of the kinase and targeting this protein-protein interaction(PPI) may offer promising avenues for selective CDK9 inhibition. Herein, we designed and generated a library of metal complexes bearing the 7-chloro-2-phenylquinoline CN ligand and tested their activity against the CDK9cyclin T1 PPI. Complex 1 bound to CDK9 via an enthalpically-driven binding mode, leading to disruption of the CDK9-cyclin T1 interaction in vitro and in cellulo. Importantly, complex 1 showed promising anti-metastatic activity against TNBC allografts in mice and was comparably active compared to cisplatin. To our knowledge, 1 is the first CDK9-cyclin T1 PPI inhibitor with anti-metastatic activity against TNBC. 15Emergence of superconductivity from fully incoherent normal state in an iron-based superconductor (Ba_(0.6)K_(0.4))Fe_2As_2显示文摘In unconventional superconductors, it is generally believed that understanding the physical properties of the normal state is a pre-requisite for understanding the superconductivity mechanism. In conventional superconductors like niobium or lead, the normal state is a Fermi liquid with a well-defined Fermi surface and well-defined quasipartcles along the Fermi surface. Superconductivity is realized in this case by the Fermi surface instability in the superconducting state and the formation and condensation of the electron pairs(Cooper pairing). The high temperature cuprate superconductors, on the other hand, represent another extreme case that superconductivity can be realized in the underdoped region where there is neither well-defined Fermi surface due to the pseudogap formation nor quasiparticles near the antinodal regions in the normal state. Here we report a novel scenario that superconductivity is realized in a system with well-defined Fermi surface but without quasiparticles along the Fermi surface in the normal state.High resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements have been performed on an optimally-doped iron-based superconductor(Ba_(0.6)K_(0.4))Fe_2As_2. We find that, while sharp superconducting coherence peaks emerge in the superconducting state on the hole-like Fermi surface sheets, no quasiparticle peak is present in the normal state. Its electronic behaviours deviate strongly from a Fermi liquid system. The superconducting gap of such a system exhibits an unusual temperature dependence that it is nearly a constant in the superconducting state and abruptly closes at Tc.
