| 3 | The machine protection system for CSNS显示文摘Background The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)accelerator consists of an 80 MeV H-LINAC,a 1.6 GeV rapid cycling synchrotron(RCS)and two beam transport lines.The uncontrolled beam may permanently damage the components or lead to very high residual radiation dose along the beam line.So the equipment protection must be deliberately designed and implemented.Purpose The machine protection system(MPS)protects components from being damaged by the beam.The response time requirement for the CSNS MPS is less than 20 ms,so the PLC(programmable logic controller)was adopted to implement the interlock logic.Methods The MPS was implemented as a two-tier architecture system,and developed through utilizing PLC and Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System(EPICS)software toolkits.The application logic was taken into careful consideration during the implementation stage.An embedded CPU module can function as an IOC accessing PLC I/O modules through the sequence CPU,with an embedded Linux operation system.Results The interlock logic and heartbeat functions were tested with all functions ok.Time consumption has been measured thoroughly since the important requirement,which is around 15 ms to stop the beam.Conclusions MPS was completed in Sep.2017 and then put into operation.It has been operating smoothly for more than 3 years.MPS has played an important role in every stage of CSNS’s commissioning and operation and achieved high reliability during the user’s experiment operation.The accelerator recently runs stably with low equipment failure. | Kang Mingtao Zhang Yuliang Jin Dapeng He Yongcheng Zhan Mingchuan Zhu Peng Wu Xuan Guo Fengqin Wang Lin | 2021 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Estimation of the Postmortem Interval by Measuring Blood Oxidation‑reduction Potential Values显示文摘Accurate estimation of the postmortem interval(PMI)is an important task in forensic practice.In the last half-century,the use of postmortem biochemistry has become an important ancillary method in determining the time of death.The present study was carried out to determine the correlation between blood oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)values and PMIs,and to develop a three-dimensional surface equation to estimate the PMI under various temperature conditions.A total of 48 rabbits were placed into six groups and sacrificed by air embolism.Blood was obtained from the right ventricle of each rabbit,and specimens were stored at 10℃,15℃,20℃,25℃,30℃,and 35℃.At different PMIs(once every 4 h),the blood ORP values were measured using a PB-21 electrochemical analyzer.Statistical analysis and curve fitting of the data yielded cubic polynomial regression equations and a surface equation at different temperatures.Result:The results showed that there was a strong positive correlation between the blood ORP values at different temperatures and the PMI.This study provides another example of using a three-dimensional surface equation as a tool to estimate the PMI at various temperature conditions. | Zhuqing Jiang Meng You Xu Wang Di Lu Haidong Zhang Shengli Di Fengqin Zhang Zhaoming Guo Xiaofei E Lin Chang Jian Xiang Rufeng Bai Tiantong Yang | 2016 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2016,2,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Genesis of the Sinongduo Carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn-Ag Deposit in the Central Lhasa Terrane,Tibet显示文摘The Sinongduo mining region includes two types of mineralizations:the epithermal and the carbonate-hosted PbZn-Ag deposits.Despite being studied for many years,the ore formation process and genesis of the carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn-Ag deposits remain poorly understood.The Pb-Zn-Ag ore bodies occur as veins and are hosted by limestone and dolostone of the Permian Xiala Formation.Three sulfide mineralization substages have been identified at the Sinongduo carbonatehosted deposit.Indium coupled with Cu,Co and Sn was incorporated into sphalerite as substitutions:2Zn^(2+)?Cu^(+)+In^(3+),(3n/2+1)Zn^(2+)?Co^(2+)+n In^(3+)or(2n+1)Zn^(2+)?Co^(2+)+n(Cu^(+)+In^(3+))(n>1)and 4Zn^(2+)?Sn2++2In^(3+).Sphalerite and pyrite in the mineralization stage displayδ^(34)S values in a narrow range of+5.7‰to+11.3‰,which are similar to those of Palaeocene igneous rocks,indicative of a magmatic source of sulfur.We present systematic carbon-hydrogen-oxygen isotope results that further support a magmatic source for the ore-forming fluids that were influenced by meteoric water.Furthermore,the Pb isotope compositions of sulfide minerals in the Sinongduo carbonate-hosted deposit overlap with the values of coeval Linzizong volcanic rocks and are similar to those of Indian Ocean sediments,indicating upper crustal sources of metals.We conclude that the Sinongduo carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn-Ag deposit is a medium-to low-temperature magmatic-hydrothermal deposit related to Linzizong magmatism. | RAN Fengqin TANG Juxing YANG Zongyao DUO Ji REN Dongxing GUO Wenbo WU Xin HAO Jinyue HE Yifei SUN Yang | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,3: | 0 |
| 6 | Analyses of Medical Malpractice in Judicial Appraisal: 505 Cases显示文摘The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the current situation of medical malpractice and make suggestions for preventative measures from a judicial appraisal standpoint.From 2002 to 2011,we conducted and analyzed 505 medicolegal malpractice experiments at the Fada Institute of Forensic Medicine and Science(FIFMS)in Beijing,People’s Republic of China(PRC).We found that the occurrence of medical disputes in surgical and obstetrical/gynecological cases seemed more frequent.The main causes of medical disputes included issues regarding medical ethics,poor quality of the medical staff,equipment malfunctions,and dereliction of duty by the medical personnel.The reasons for dissatisfaction varied among the different levels of medical service.Basic medical services garnered the most complaints.If we can work to improve the moral and professional standards of the medical staff members,intensify their ethics,and foster good relationships between patients and medical professionals,the quality of medical care would improve and the number of disputes regarding medical services would be reduced. | Meng You Xu Wang Di Lu Haidong Zhang Shengli Di Fengqin Zhang Zhaoming Guo Li Yuan Lin Chang Jian Xiang Lili Yu Yingkai Yang Tiantong Yang | 2015 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2015,1,1: | 0 |
| 7 | The run management system for CSNS显示文摘Purpose In order to increase CSNS beam power from 100 to 500 kW,the linac injection energy needs to be increased from 80 to 300 MeV.The combined layout of superconducting spoke cavities and elliptical cavities will be adopted to accelerate H−beam to 300 MeV.In this paper,a compact single spoke cavity withΦ50-mm beam aperture was proposed,with the RF performance of the spoke cavity optimized to Ep/Eacc<5,Bp/Eacc<9,as well as the good multipacting behavior.Methods CST Microwave Studio was used to optimize the RF performance(Epeak/Eacc,Bpeak/Eacc,R/Q)with cavity geometry parameters.After electromagnetic design was finished,multipacting behavior was studied with CST Particle Studio module,and cavity shape modification was made to get a reasonablevalue.Results The simulation got optimum results of Epeak/Eacc=4.97 and Bpeak/Eacc=8.42 mT/(MV/m),and themax is 1.52 at Eacc=7.74 MV/m.Conclusion A 648 MHzβg=0.4 single spoke cavity with beam apertureΦ50 mm was proposed in the paper.This compact cavity may be a very promising option for CSNS linac upgrading.In addition to the optimization of the RF parameters,the multipacting behavior of the cavity is also studied,and cavity shape is optimized to reducevalue. | Yuliang Zhang Mingtao Kang Dapeng Jin Yongcheng He Peng Zhu Xuan Wu Fengqin Guo Lin Wang Wenchun Gao Gang Li | 2019 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3: | 0 |
