| 2 | Simulation and analysis of the carrying capacity for road networks using a grid-based approach显示文摘The number of vehicles that a road network can carry is limited.When the limit is exceeded,the network system is not able to function effectively.In this paper,an updated cellular automaton model for grid networks with all-way stop-controlled intersections is proposed to simulate the network level critical density and carrying capacity under different conditions,which essentially indicates the limit number of vehicles that the network can handle before going into gridlock.In the proposed model,two update rules,including lane-changing and the longitudinal location update,are adopted to describe the vehicle’s movements on road segments according to the driving condition on the road and the vehicle’s direction in the downstream intersection.The vehicle’s movements in intersection areas are prioritized based on vehicle’s position,so as to prevent collisions within the intersection area.The simulation results show that an increase in network size is able to expand the carrying capacity of a road network,whereas the expansion rate is lower than the change rate in the network size.The carrying capacity is also associated with the structure of road network.The carrying capacity is inversely proportional to the number of intersections,and proportional to the length of the road in the network.Also,optimizing the origin-destination(O-D)distribution can increase the carrying capacity of an urban road network. | Junqing Shi Linwu Chen Fengxiang Qiao Lei Yu Qing Li Guilian Fan | 2020 | Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2020,7,4: | 3 |

Four terms of frequency shift and uncertainty including second order Zeeman frequency shift,cold collision shift,gravity shift and blackbody shift are evaluated. | 4 | Competing reduction induced homogeneous oxygen doping to unlock MoS_(2)basal planes for faster polysulfides conversion显示文摘The parasitic polysulfides shuttle effect greatly hinders the practical application of lithium sulfur batteries,and this issue can be addressed by promoting polysulfides conversion with catalytic materials such as Mo S_(2).However,the catalytic activity of Mo S_(2)mainly relies on edge sites,but is limited by inert basal planes.We herein report a novel,facile,ethylene glycol enabled competing reduction strategy to dope Mo S_(2)homogeneously with oxygen atoms so that its inert basal planes can be unlocked.Ethylene glycol works as a reducing agent and competes with thiourea to react with ammonium molybdate,leading to insufficient sulfuration of Mo,and consequent formation of O-Mo S_(2).Our theoretical and experimental investigations indicate that the homogeneously distributed O dopants can create abundant adsorption/-catalytic sites in the Mo S_(2)basal planes,enlarge the inter-plane distance to promote ion transport,and thus enhance the catalytic conversion of polysulfides.The oxygen doped Mo S_(2)(O-Mo S_(2))is supported on carbon nanosheets(CNS)and the composite(O-Mo S_(2)/CNS)is employed to modify the separator of Li-S battery.It gives the battery an initial discharge capacity of 1537 m Ah g-1at 0.2 C,and the battery retains a discharge capacity of 545 m Ah g-1after ultra-long 2000 cycles at 1 C,corresponding to a very small cyclic decay rate of 0.0237%.Even under a raising sulfur loading of 8.2 mg cm^(-2),the Li-S battery also delivers a high discharge capacity(554 m Ah g^(-1))with outstanding cycle stability(84.6%capacity retention)after 100 cycles at 0.5 C.Our work provides a novel,facile approach to fabricate highly catalytically active oxygen-doped Mo S_(2)for advanced Li-S batteries. | Da Lei Wenzhe Shang Xu Zhang Yongpeng Li Xiaoshan Shi Shaoming Qiao Qian Wang Qiang Zhang Ce Hao Hui Xu Guohua Chen Gaohong He Fengxiang Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10: | 1 |

| 6 | Displacement and development characteristics of fire flooding of vertical wells in old heavy oil areas显示文摘As the vertical-well fire flooding technology is industrially applied in the steam-injection old heavy oil areas of Xinjiang and Liaohe oilfields,its enhanced oil recovery potential is gradually clear.According to laboratory experiment,field test and reservoir engineering,the displacement characteristics of verticalwell fire flooding in the steam-injection old heavy oil areas are systematically investigated.Laboratory experiments and core data show that the vertical-well fire flooding has significantly high flooding ef-ficiency,no residual oil are remained in the firing front sweeping zone,and the lateral sweep efficiency and ultimate recovery can be achieved.The vertical-well fire flooding is a strategic replacement technology to enhance the recovery greatly.Development characteristics and advantages of areal and linear fire flooding are well investigated,and research results are applied in the design of industrial test plan of fire flooding in the Hongqian block,Xinjiang.The research shows that the linear well pattern has advantages of easy construction of ground facilities and management,less well of stage management,simple matching technology and easy achievement of purposeful control for fire front;the areal well pattern has advantages in reducing the air/oil ratio during the fire flooding period,increasing the total recovery rate of reservoirs and reducing the geological and reservoir management risks.To select well patterns of fire flooding,some factors such as geology,reservoir,fluid properties,oil price,and reservoir development degree should be mainly considered.In the Hongqian block,an improved linear well pattern with a combination of new wells and old wells is applied,this not only absorb experiences of linear well pattern pilot test,but also use advantages of areal well pattern. | Wenlong Guan Xialin Zhang Changfeng Xi Xiaochun Wang Fengxiang Yang Xiaorong Shi Qiu Li | 2018 | Petroleum Research2018,3,2: | 0 |
| 7 | Epidemiology and characteristics of identified early mpox cases in Guangdong Province,China:Implications for prevention and control显示文摘In June 2023,the 2022 global mpox(monkeypox)outbreak began to affect Guangdong Province,one of the first regions in China's Mainland to report mpox cases.By July 10,2023,93 mpox cases had been reported in Guangdong Province.This study describes the epidemiological characteristics of these patients by collecting and analyzing data on demographics,sexual behavior,medical history,travel history,clinical symptoms,and diagnostic pathways and processes.The 93 mpox cases were all men aged 20-48 years,95.70%were men who have sex with men(MSM),and 48.39%were HIV-positive.A few cases were married(to women)or living with children.The rash was present in almost all cases(98.91%),with the most common sites being the genital and perianal areas(70.33%).Intimate sexual contact was suspected to be the main route of infection,with a median incubation period of 8.5 days(IQR 5.0–11.8).The number of cases increased rapidly,and most patients had no history of international travel,suggesting sustained community transmission within the MSM population in Guangdong Province.In addition,93.55%of cases were detected by medical institutions,and more than half of these patients had two or more hospital visits before being diagnosed as an mpox case,indicating that clinicians need further training to increase their sensitivity to mpox.Targeted interventions should prioritize MSM while remaining vigilant for transmission to other populations,such as women and children. | Yinan Zong Yuwei Yang Dongfeng Kong Jianxiong Xu Zimian Liang Fengxiang Shi Jianhua Huang Min Kang Haojie Zhong Wenjia Liang Yan Li | 2023 | Biosafety and Health2023,5,6: | 0 |
