| 4 | Usefulness of myocardial performance index for assessing right ventricular function after percutaneous closure of atrial septal defect显示文摘Objective Assessment of right ventricular function in patients with atrial septal defect (ASD) is difficult. The Doppler myocardial performance index (MPI) may provide a method of assessing function in these patients. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the right ventricular function and its changes in patients with ASD after transcatheter closure of ASD. Methods MPI, defined as the sum of isovolumic relaxation time and isovolumic contraction time derived by ejection time, was measured from tricuspid inflow and right ventricular outflow;Doppler velocity profiles recorded during routine echocardiography.Twenty nine patients (13 men, 16 women;mean age 25.28±12.69, range 6 to 57 years) were diagnosed to secundum ASD [the stretched diameters of ASD were from 9 To 36 (24.91±7.98) mm], and had a successfully placed Amplatzer septal occluder (ASO) (the sizes of ASO were from 11 to 40 mm );there were 81 sex-matched, age-matched healthy people (control group 41men, 40 women;mean age 29.02 ± 14.22, range 4 to 45 years ). MPI was measured again on 3 days and 1 month after closure of ASD. Change in the study group was assessed and compared to the control subjects with structurally normal hearts. A complete 2-dimensional and Doppler echocardiographic examination was performed in all study groups. Results 1) The isovolumic relaxation and isovolumic contraction times [respectively(77.59 ± 14.39)ms vs (60.93 ±12.94)ms, P<0.0001;(28.28 ±10.88)ms vs (23.64 ±9.01)ms, P=0.027] were prolonged, and ejection time [(260.65 ±21.86 )ms vs (271.85 ± 21.92)ms, P=0.033] was shortened in patients with ASD compared with that in control subjects, resulting in a marked increase in the MPI(0.40 ± 0.07 vs 0.31 ± 0.05, P<0.0001) from normal values;2) by Pearson's correlations, the MPI had no correlation with heart rate and blood pressure in control subjects and patients with ASD, but it correlated positively with age in patients with ASD;3) by Pearson's correlations, the MPI correlated positively with the diameter of ASD and pulmonary artery pressure;4) after transcatheter closure of ASD, the MPI decreased markedly. | 13 | Cloning and Functional Analysis of Calcineurin Subunits A and B in Development and Fecundity of Nilaparvata lugens(Stål)显示文摘Serine/threonine phosphatase calcineurin(CN)is a unique but confounding calcium/calmodulin-mediated enzyme,which is composed of a catalytic subunit A(CNA)and a regulatory subunit B(CNB).We cloned six transcripts for CNA named from NlCNA-X1 to NlCNA-X6,one CNB named NlCNB1 and one CNB homologous gene NlCNBH1 from Nilaparvata lugens.All of them are constitutively transcripted in various tissues and developmental stages.The primary structure of the six isoforms showed obvious differences in the length and composition of the amino acid sequence between the two binding domains of Ca^(2+)/calmodulin(CaM)and CNB.Ca^(2+)-binding EF-hand motifs were found in NlCNB1 and NlCNBH1.The specific gene silencing of NlCNA,NlCNB1 and NlCNBH1 respectively by RNAi resulted in drastical reduction in survival rate,female weight,eclosion rate and fecundity of N.lugens.These results showed that NlCNA,NlCNB1 and NlCNBH1 were required for N.lugens growth and reproduction.The negative effects of NlCNB1 silence on nymph mortality(97%),molting malformation(90%)and female sterile(50%)were more serious than those of NlCNA or NlCNBH1.qRT-PCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)analyses indicated that the nymphs with silenced NlCNA,NlCNB1 or NlCNBH1 showed impaired hormone and energy metabolism.In nymphs,the contents of 20-hydroxyecdysone(20E)after NlCNB1 RNAi and phenoloxidase after NlCNA RNAi were particularly decreased.These results suggested that NlCNA is involved in immunity of N.lugens by regulation of phenoloxidase,while NlCNB1 may control the growth and development of N.lugens by 20E signaling pathway in addition to interact with CNA.Injection of 70 ng/μL dsNlCNB1 resulted in 77.0%down regulation of NlCNB1,and the nymph mortality was up to 57.9%at 10 d after injection.Therefore,NlCNB1 could be a potential candidate target used for strategy design in control of N.lugens.Our results revealed the importance of CN in the regulation of the growth and development of N.lugens,which provided a basis for further study of the molecular mechanism of CN. | WANG Weixia ZHU Tingheng WAN Pinjun WEI Qi HE Jiachun LAI Fengxiang FU Qiang | 2022 | Rice science2022,29,2: | 0 |

In this work, we report a series of polyarylether sulfone (PSF) binderswith different cation structures including imidazolium (Im), triethylammonium (Tr), and morpholinium(Mo). The ability of the these quaternized binders and the conventional poly(vinylidene fluoride) or PVDFbinder to capture polysulfide increases in the order of PVDF << PSF-Mo < PSF-Tr< PSF-Im. The delocalizedcharge on the imidazolium cation may promote the interaction between PSF-Im and polysulfide asindicated by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic study. The PSF-Im based cathodes showed the highestcapacity retention (77% at 0.2 C after 100 cycles and 84% at 0.5 C after 120 cycles), and the bestrate capability. | 15 | High-chromium vanadium-titanium magnetite all-pellet integrated burden optimization and softening-melting behavior based on flux pellets显示文摘High-chromium vanadium-titanium magnetite(HVTM)is a crucial polymetallic-associated resource to be developed.The allpellet operation is a blast furnace trend that aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the future.By referencing the production data of vanadium-titanium magnetite blast furnaces,this study explored the softening-melting behavior of high-chromium vanadium-titanium magnetite and obtained the optimal integrated burden based on flux pellets.The results show that the burden with a composition of 70wt%flux pellets and 30wt%acid pellets exhibits the best softening-melting properties.In comparison to that of the single burden,the softening-melting characteristic temperature of this burden composition was higher.The melting interval first increased from 307 to 362℃and then decreased to 282℃.The maximum pressure drop(ΔPmax)decreased from 26.76 to 19.01 kPa.The permeability index(S)dropped from 4643.5 to 2446.8 kPa·℃.The softening-melting properties of the integrated burden were apparently improved.The acid pellets played a role in withstanding load during the softening process.The flux pellets in the integrated burden exhibited a higher slag melting point,which increased the melting temperature during the melting process.The slag homogeneity and the TiC produced by over-reduction led to the gas permeability deterioration of the single burden.The segregation of the flux and acid pellets in the HVTM proportion and basicity mainly led to the better softening-melting properties of the integrated burden. | Bojian Chen Tao Jiang Jing Wen Guangdong Yang Tangxia Yu Fengxiang Zhu Peng Hu | 2024 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2024,31,3: | 0 |
