2Untangling the contributions of meteorological conditions and human mobility to tropospheric NO_(2) in Chinese mainland during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020显示文摘In early 2020,unprecedented lockdowns and travel bans were implemented in Chinese mainland to fight COVID-19;which led to a large reduction in anthropogenic emissions.This provided a unique opportunity to isolate the effects from emission and meteorology on tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(N0_(2)).Comparing the atmospheric N0_(2) in 2020 with that in 2017,we found the changes of emission have led to a 49.3±23.5%reduction,which was〜12%more than satellite-observed reduction of 37.8±16.3%.The discrepancy was mainly a result of changes of meteorology,which have contributed to an 8.1±14.2%increase of N02.We also revealed that the emission-induced reduction of N02 has significantly negative correlations to human mobility,particularly that inside the city.The intra-city migration index derived from Baidu Location-Based-Service can explain 40.4%it 17.7%variance of the emission-induced reduction of N0_(2) in 29 megacities,each of which has a population of over 8 million in Chinese mainland.Yuxiang Zhang Haixu Bo Zhe Jiang Yu Wang Yunfei Fu Bingwei Cao Xuewen Wang Jiaqi Chen Rui Li 2021National Science Review2021,8,11:2
3Construction of Cu-Ce interface for boosting toluene oxidation:Study of Cu-Ce interaction and intermediates identified by in situ DRIFTS显示文摘A facile hydrothermal method was applied to gain stably and highly efficient CuO-CeO_(2)(denoted as Cu1Ce2)catalyst for toluene oxidation.The changes of surface and inter properties on Cu1Ce2 were investigated comparing with pure CeO_(2)and pure CuO.The formation of Cu-Ce interface promotes the electron transfer between Cu and Ce through Cu^(2+)+Ce^(3+)↔Cu^(+)+Ce^(4+)and leads to high redox properties and mobility of oxygen species.Thus,the Cu1Ce2 catalyst makes up the shortcoming of CeO_(2)and CuO and achieved high catalytic performance with T_(50)=234°C and T_(99)=250°C(the temperature at which 50%and 90%C_(7)H_(8)conversion is obtained,respectively)for toluene oxidation.Different reaction steps and intermediates for toluene oxidation over Cu1Ce2,CeO_(2)and CuO were detected by in situ DRIFTS,the fast benzyl species conversion and preferential transformation of benzoates into carbonates through C=C breaking over Cu1Ce2 should accelerate the reaction.Jiahui Lu Jinping Zhong Quanming Ren Jiaqi Li Linghe Song Shengpeng Mo Mingyuan Zhang Peirong Chen Mingli Fu Daiqi Ye 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11:2
4Dynamic observation of in-plane h-BN/graphene heterostructures growth on Ni(lll)显示文摘The lateraI incorporation of graphene and hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)onto a substrate surface creates irvplane h-BN/graphene heterostructures,which have promising applications in novel two-dimensional electronic and photoelectronic devices.The quality of h-BN/graphene domain boundaries depends on their orientation,which is crucial for device performances.Here,the heteroepitaxial growth of graphene along the edges of h-BN domains on Ni(111)surfaces as well as the growth dynamics of h-BN using chemical vapor deposit!on(CVD)are in situ investigated by surface imaging measurements.The nucieating seed effect of h-BN has been revealed,which con tributes to the single orie ntation of heterostructures with epitaxial stitch i ng.Further,the growth of h-BN prior to that of graphene is essential to obtain high-quality in-plane h-BN/graphene heterostructures on Ni(111).The“compact to fractal”shape transition of h-BN domains appears with the increasing surface concentration of the growth blocks,suggesting that the dynamic growth mechanism follows diffusion-limited aggregation(DLA)but not reaction・limited aggregation(RLA).Our results provide in sights into the syn thesis of well-defi ned h-BN/graphene heterostructures and deep un derstanding of the growth dynamics of h-BN on metal surfaces.Wei Wei Jiaqi Pan Chanan Euaruksakul Yang Yang Yi Cui Qiang Fu Xinhe Bao 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:2
5Plant Selection of Constructed Wetlands for Treatment of Piggery Wastewater显示文摘Piggery wastewater contains high concentrations of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen,and it is difficult to treat it and make the discharged wastewater to meet the standard. Since the treatment of piggery wastewater treated under anaerobic conditions by traditional aerobic methods requires large investment,high running expense and strict management,breeding enterprises could hardly accept the technique. 6Hollow nanostructure of sea-sponge-C/SiC@SiC/C for stable Li^(+)-storage capability显示文摘For the purpose of stable performance in energy storage systems, a new hollow nanostructure of seasponge-C/SiC@SiC/C(SCS/SiC@SiC/C) has been successfully fabricated by the SCS/SiC nanospheres coated with SiC/C shells through an in situ reduction process. Based on SCSs and the carbon shells, the stable hollow structures of SCS/SiC@SiC/C can contain large proportion of active SiC layers, which are adhered to both SCSs and the inner surfaces of carbon shells. 9Role of microtubule dynamics in Wallerian degeneration and nerve regeneration after peripheral nerve injury显示文摘Wallerian degeneration,the progressive disintegration of distal axons and myelin that occurs after peripheral nerve injury,is essential for creating a permissive microenvironment for nerve regeneration,and involves cytoskeletal reconstruction.However,it is unclear whether microtubule dynamics play a role in this process.To address this,we treated cultured sciatic nerve explants,an in vitro model of Wallerian degeneration,with the microtubule-targeting agents paclitaxel and nocodazole.We found that paclitaxel-induced microtubule stabilization promoted axon and myelin degeneration and Schwann cell dedifferentiation,whereas nocodazole-induced microtubule destabilization inhibited these processes.Evaluation of an in vivo model of peripheral nerve injury showed that treatment with paclitaxel or nocodazole accelerated or attenuated axonal regeneration,as well as functional recovery of nerve conduction and target muscle and motor behavior,respectively.These results suggest that microtubule dynamics participate in peripheral nerve regeneration after injury by affecting Wallerian degeneration.This study was approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee of Southern Medical University,China(approval No.SMUL2015081) on October 15,2015.Jingmin Liu Lixia Li Ying Zou Lanya Fu Xinrui Ma Haowen Zhang Yizhou Xu Jiawei Xu Jiaqi Zhang Mi Li Xiaofang Hu Zhenlin Li Xianghai Wang Hao Sun Hui Zheng Lixin Zhu Jiasong Guo 2022Neural Regeneration Research2022,17,3:1
10High temperature oxidation and ablation behaviors of HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings for carbon/carbon composites fabricated by dipping-carbonization assisted pack cementation显示文摘To improve the uniformity and the content of HfBin Hf B-Si-based ceramic coating and alleviate the damage of substrate,and then enhance the high-temperature(1700°C)oxidation and cyclic ablation resistances of carbon/carbon composites,a close-knit double layer HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings with a mosaic structure and high content of HfBwere prepared by a novel dipping-carbonization assisted pack cementation methods(DPC–HS/S).In contrast,a HfB_(2)-SiC/SiC coatings were also fabricated by pack cementation(PC–HS/S).Results revealed that the oxidation and ablation protective performances of the DPC–HS/S coatings were superior to those of PC–HS/S coatings.After 30 thermal cycles between 1500°C and room temperature,the mass gain of the coated sample was 0.78%,and the mass loss was 1.65%after oxidation at 1700°C for 156 h.Moreover,under an oxyacetylene torch ablation for 180 s(3 cycles),the linear ablation rate of the DPC–HS/S coated specimen was 1.62μm/s,which was much lower than that of PC–HS/S coated specimen(3.08μm/s).Lei Zhou Jiaping Zhang Dou Hu Qiangang Fu Wuqing Ding Jiaqi Hou Bing Liu Mingde Tong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,16:1

12Layered CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanocatalyst for rapid conversion of p-nitrophenol to p-aminophenol显示文摘In order to well arrange active sites and avoid byproducts, the reasonable structured carrier nanocatalyst plays a crucial role in high catalytic performance, but still remains a challenge. Herein, the layered CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanosheets have been constructed through hydrothermal synthesis followed by calcination and H_(2) reduction treatment process. The in-situ formed CuNi nanoalloys (NAs) and nano-Cu_(2)O were evenly distributed on the bilateral surface of layered NiAlOx nanosheets. Based on the planar structure of nanosheet, the synergy between catalytic active CuNi NAs and photocatalytic active nano-Cu_(2)O endows CuNi-Cu_(2)O/NiAlO_(x) nanosheets with rapid conversion efficiency for catalyzing p-nitrophenol (p-NP, 14 mg·L^(−1)) to p-aminophenol (p-AP) in 32 s with the reaction rate constant k up to 0.1779 s−1, and no obvious performance decay can be observed even over 27 cycles. Moreover, high concentration of p-NP at 10 and 20 g·L^(−1) could be reduced to p-AP within 14 and 20 min, respectively. 15Legionella pneumophila temporally regulates the activity of ADP/ATP translocases by reversible ADP-ribosylation显示文摘The mitochondrion is an important signaling hub that governs diverse cellular functions,including metabolism,energy production,and immunity.Among the hundreds of effectors translocated into host cells by the Dot/Icm system of Legionella pneumophila,several are targeted to mitochondria but the function of most of them remains elusive.Our recent study found that the effector Ceg3 inhibits the activity of ADP/ATP translocases(ANTs)by ADP-ribosylation(ADPR).Here,we show that the effect of Ceg3 is antagonized by Larg1,an effector encoded by lpg0081,a gene that is situated next to ceg3.Larg1 functions to reverse Ceg3-mediated ADPR of ANTs by cleaving the N-glycosidic bond between the ADPR moiety and the modified arginine residues in ANTs,leading to restoration of their activity in ADP/ATP exchange.Structural analysis of Larg1 and its complex with ADPR reveals that this ADPR glycohydrolase harbors a unique macrodomain that catalyzes the removal of ADPR modification on ANTs.Our results also demonstrate that together with Ceg3,Larg1 imposes temporal regulation of the activity of ANTs by reversible ADPR during L.pneumophila infection.Jiaqi Fu Pengwei Li Hongxin Guan Dan Huang Lei Song Songying Ouyang Zhao-Qing Luo 2022mLife2022,1,1:1

17Evaluation and Selection of the Optimal Scheme of Industrial Structure Adjustment Based on DEA显示文摘In the paper, the advanced assessment method of DEA (Date Envelopment Analysis) had been used to evaluate relative efficiency and select the optimal scheme of agricultural industrial structure adjustment. According to the results of DEA models, we analyzed scale benefits of every optional schemes, probed deeply the ultimate reason for not DEA efficient, which clarified the method and approach to improve these optional schemes. Finally, a new method had been proposed to rank and select the optimal scheme. 18Active sites of Pt/CNTs nanocatalysts for aerobic base-free oxidation of glycerol显示文摘Understanding the nature of Pt active sites is of great importance for the structure-sensitive base-free oxidation of glycerol. In the present work, the remarkable Pt particle size effects on glycerol conversion and products formation from the oxidation of the primary and the secondary hydroxyl groups are understood by combining the model calculations and DFT calculations, aiming to discriminate the corresponding dominant Pt active sites. The Pt(100) facet is demonstrated to be the dominant active sites for the glycerol conversion and the products formation from the two routes. 19Metal-organic frameworks derived low-crystalline NiCo_(2)S_(4)/Co_(3)S_(4) nanocages with dual heterogeneous interfaces for high-performance supercapacitors显示文摘Nickel cobalt bimetallic heterogeneous sulfides are attractive battery-type materials for electrochemical energy storage.However,the precise synthesis of electrode materials that integrate highly efficient ions/electrons diffusion with abundant charge transfer channels has always been challenging.Herein,an effective and concise controllable hydrothermal approach is reported for tuning the crystalline and integrated structures of MOF-derived bimetallic sulfides to accelerate the charge transfer kinetics,and thus enabling rich Faradaic redox reaction.The as-obtained low-crystalline heterogeneous NiCo_(2)S_(4)/Co_(3)S_(4)nanocages exhibit a high specific capacity(1023 C/g at 1 A/g),remarkable rate performance(560 C/g at 10A/g),and outstanding cycling stability(89.6%retention after 5000 cycles).Furthermore,hybrid supercapacitors fabricated with NiCo_(2)S_(4)/Co_(3)S_(4)and nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide display an outstanding energy density of 40.8 Wh/kg at a power density of 806.3 W/kg,with an excellent capacity retention of 88.3%after 10000 charge-discharge cycles.Zixin Jia Youning Wang Jiaqi Chen Zhijie Cao Shugang Pan Yan Zhou Jingwen Sun Junwu Zhu Xin Wang Yongsheng Fu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,1:1
