6Study of pyrolyzed hemin/C as non-platinum cathodic catalyst for direct methanol fuel cells显示文摘Biological reduction of O2 to H2O justifies a serious look at heme as a potential O2 reduction reaction(ORR) catalyst for low temperature fuel cells.In this study,a novel non-platinum electrocatalyst for ORR was prepared through hemin,which is hydrochloride of heme,supported on Black Pearls 2000 carbon black(Hm-BP) pyrolyzed at 700-900℃ in Ar atmosphere.The physical and electrocatalytic properties of as-prepared catalysts were characterized by TGA,XRD,XPS,TEM,rotating disk electrode(RDE) and rotating ring disk electrode(RRDE).It has found that the catalyst treated at 750℃(Hm-BP-750) exhibits the best property among the Hm-BP catalysts prepared.The onset potential of ORR on the Hm-BP-750 at 30℃ was measured ca.0.90 V(vs.RHE) in 0.1 M H2SO4,and mass current density was reached 15.3 mA mg-1 at 0.75 V.It has revealed that O2 could be reduced directly to water in a 4e process between 0.9 and 0.83V,and the yield of H2O2 was 0-18% in the potential range of 0.83-0.63 V.This methanol-tolerant catalyst also presents excellent stability in medium-term test of direct methanol fuel cell at 80℃.Qiang Wang ZhiYou Zhou DeJun Chen JianLong Lin FuSheng Ke GuiLiang Xu ShiGang Sun 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,9:0
7On acoustic performance for viscoelastic coating containing axisymmetric cavities using the multiple scattering method显示文摘A semi-analytical/numerical model based on the multiple scattering(MS) method has been established for analyzing the effect of acoustic performance on main energy attenuation mechanism in viscoelastic coating containing axisymmetric cavities.The basic functions of stress and displacement of the axisymmetric cavity surface are derived in the system of spherical coordinates.The transition matrix between the incident wave and the scattering wave are obtained by the numerical integral of the basic functions of the cavity surface.The reflection,transmission and absorption performance of viscoelastic materials containing periodic cavities are calculated using the MS method and the wave propagating theory of the multi-layered medium.The results indicate that low frequency energy is mainly attenuated through cavity resonance.The resonant properties are found to be very sensitive to the boundary conditions.The coupling of the double-cavity is capable of extending the absorption to even lower frequencies.The absorption performance of the viscoelastic coating in the high frequency range is independent of the backing material.Its energy attenuation depends mainly on acoustic properties of cavity scattering and mode conversion.BAI Guofeng LIU Bilong SUI Fusheng LIU Ke YANG Jun 2013Chinese Journal of Acoustics2013,32,4:0
8Promotion of the oxygen evolution performance of Ni–Fe layered hydroxides via the introduction of a proton-transfer mediator anion显示文摘Developing efficient catalysts with high durability and activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is imperative for sustainable energy conversion technologies,including hydrogen generation and CO_(2) reduction,as well as other electrochemical energy storage systems.To this end,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for the water oxidation reaction is vital.Herein,a surfactant,nonafluoro-1-butanesulfonate(FBS),was introduced into Ni-Fe layered double hydroxide(Ni Fe-FBS/CFP)via electrochemical deposition on the surface of a carbon fiber paper(CFP)substrate.The as-prepared Ni Fe-FBS/CFP electrode exhibited excellent catalytic activities for OER compared to the Ni-Fe layered double hydroxide based electrode(Ni Fe-LDH/CFP),an excellent stability of 15 h,and an ultralow Tafel slope of 25.8 m V dec-1.Furthermore,by combining the results of p H-dependent kinetics investigations,chemical probing,proton inventory studies,and isotopic and atom-protontransfer measurements,it was observed that a proton-transfer process controls the reaction rates of both the Ni Fe-LDH and Ni Fe-FBS catalysts,and the residual sulfonate groups serve as proton transfer mediator to accelerate the proton transfer rate.Wenlong Li Fusheng Li Yilong Zhao Chang Liu Yingzheng Li Hao Yang Ke Fan Peili Zhang Yu Shan Licheng Sun 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,2:0
