2In situ generation and detection of methyl radical by voltammetry显示文摘In persulfate-acetate, dimethyl sulfoxide or tert-butyl alcohol systems, in situ generation and detection of methyl free radical are realized with voltammetry. It includes the following successive processes. The persulfate S2O82 is polarographically reduced via one-electron addition to sulfate radical SO4, the SO4 initiates chain reaction with acetate, dimethyl sulfoxide, or tert-butyl alcohol on the electrode surface to produce a methyl radical, and one-electron reduction of the methyl radical yields its polarographic reduction wave. 5Analysis of sex pheromone production and field trapping of the Asian corn borer(Ostrinia furnacalis Guenée)in Xinjiang,China显示文摘Identifying the sex pheromone systems of local pest populations facilitates their management,especially for moth species that show significant geographic variation in sex pheromone communication.We investigated the pheromone production and behavioral responses of the Asian corn borer(Ostrinia furnacalis Guenée;ACB)in Xinjiang,China.The ACB produces three compounds:(Z)-12-tetradecenyl acetate(Z12-14:Ac)and(E)-12-tetradecenyl acetate(E12-14:Ac)which are two sex pheromone compounds,and n-tetradecyl acetate(14:Ac)which has variable roles in mediating behavioral responses.The ratios of these three compounds produced in female gland are geographically distinct among different populations.Quantitative analysis of pheromone production showed that the proportions of Z12-14:Ac in the E/Z isomers(i.e.,Z and E12-14:Ac)and the proportions of 14:Ac in the ternary blend respectively averaged 60.46%(SD=5.26)and 25.00%(SD=7.37),with their probabilities normally or near-normally distributed.Trapping experiments in a cornfield indicated that deploying the E/Z isomers and the three compounds in rubber septa close to their gland ratios yielded the most captured males,while other ratios that deviated from the gland ratios showed reduced field captures.The ternary blend was significantly more attractive to males than the E/Z isomers in the field,indicating a functional role of 14:Ac as the third pheromone component used by the local population.Additionally,the dose-response test demonstrated that the application of the three compounds at dosages between 200 and 350μg attracted significantly more males compared to other dosages.Therefore,the characterization of this local ACB pheromone system provides additional information about its geographic variation and serves as a basis for optimizing the pheromone-mediated control of this pest in Xinjiang.DENG Jian-yu LAN Chen-yi-hang ZHOU Jun-xiang YAO Yu-bo YIN Xiao-hui FU Kai-yun DING Xin-hua GUO Wen-chao LIU Wen WANG Na Fumin WANG 2023Journal of Integrative Agriculture2023,22,4:1

7Elucidating the effect of barium halide promoters on La_(2)O_(3)/CaO catalyst for oxidative coupling of methane显示文摘The industrialization of oxidative coupling of methane(OCM)is restricted by the low once through yield of C_(2)hydrocarbons.Recently,the halogen-assisted OCM process has been attempted to overcome this issue,but the reaction stability was poor due to the rapid loss of gas-phase halides or molten alkali halides.In this work,the barium salts,particularly barium halides(BaCl_(2)and BaF_(2)),were demonstrated to be efficient promoters to improve the OCM reactivity of La_(2)O_(3)/CaO catalyst by increasing both C_(2)selectivity and C_(2)H_(4)/C_(2)H_(6)ratio,and simultaneously achieving outstanding reaction stability.The promoting mechanism can be understood in two aspects.On the one hand,the introduction of barium salts increased the amount of surface electrophilic oxygen species,serving as the alkaline active sites for selective methane activation.On the other hand,the barium halide additives induced the in-situ formation of methyl halide intermediates facilitating C_(2)H_(6)dehydrogenation,and their intimate contact with catalyst substrate restricted the rapid halogen loss and thereby improved the catalytic stability.This work not only provides a class of efficient OCM catalyst,but also offers a highly stable halogen-assisted reaction strategy.Yue Wang Xiao Yang Fumin Yin Kai Zhang Hongfei Guo Guowei Wang Guiyuan Jiang Chunyi Li Xiaolin Zhu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:0
8Construction of isolated Ni sites on nitrogen-doped hollow carbon spheres with Ni-N_(3) configuration for enhanced reduction of nitroarenes显示文摘Designing and synthesizing high-efficiency non-precious metal-based catalysts having uniform active sites increases the reactivity and selectivity of materials and provides a platform for an in-depth understanding of their catalytic reaction mechanism.In this study,we provided an approach for fabricating isolated nickel single-atom sites(Ni SAs)with high loading(4.9 wt.%)stabilized on nitrogen-doped hollow carbon spheres(NHCS)using a core–shell structured Zn/Ni bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)composite as the sacrificial template.The as-fabricated Ni SAs/NHCS catalyst shows superior activity,selectivity,and recycling durability for the catalytic transfer hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline,thus achieving 100%yield of aniline with a turn-over frequency(TOF)value as high as 29.9 h^(−1) under mild conditions.This TOF value is considerably superior to the supported Ni nanoparticle catalysts.The experiments designed show that the hollow structure feature of NHCS facilitates accessible active sites and mass transfer,which thus contributes to the enhancement of the catalytic performance of Ni SAs/NHCS.Density functional theory calculations show the high chemo-selectivity and activity of the Ni SAs catalyst,arising from the unique role of the single Ni-N3 site on simultaneously activating the H donor(N_(2)H_(4))and substrate,as well as the hydrogenation of the–NOH group as the rate-determining step.Binbin Feng Rou Guo Qiulan Cai Yaping Song Nan Li Yanghe Fu De-Li Chen Jiangwei Zhang Weidong Zhu Fumin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
9Strategies for improving the photocatalytic performance of metal-organic frameworks for CO_(2) reduction: A review显示文摘Photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction is an appealing strategy for mitigating the environmental effects of greenhouse gases while simultaneously producing valuable carbon-neutral fuels.Numerous attempts have been made to produce effective and efficient photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction. In contrast, the selection of competitive catalysts continues to be a substantial hindrance and a considerable difficulty in the development of photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction. It is vital to emphasize different techniques for building effective photocatalysts to improve CO_(2)reduction performance in order to achieve a long-term sustainability. Metalorganic frameworks(MOFs) are recently emerging as a new type of photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction due to their excellent CO_(2)adsorption capability and unique structural characteristics. This review examines the most recent breakthroughs in various techniques for modifying MOFs in order to improve their efficiency of photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction. The advantages of MOFs using as photocatalysts are summarized, followed by different methods for enhancing their effectiveness for photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction via partial ion exchange of metal clusters, design of bimetal clusters, the modification of organic linkers,and the embedding of metal complexes. For integrating MOFs with semiconductors, metallic nanoparticles(NPs), and other materials, a number of different approaches have been also reviewed. The final section of this review discusses the existing challenges and future prospects of MOFs as photocatalysts for CO_(2)reduction. 10Filterless narrowband photodetectors enabled by controllable band modulation through ion migration: The case of halide perovskites显示文摘Narrowband photodetectors conventionally rely on optical structure design orbandpass filters to achieve the narrowband regime. Recently, a strategy forfilterless narrowband photoresponse based on the charge collection narrowing(CCN) mechanism was reported. However, the CCN strategy requires an electrically and optically “thick” photoactive layer, which poses challenges in controlling the narrowband photoresponse. Here we propose a novel strategy forconstructing narrowband photodetectors by leveraging the inherent ion migration in perovskites, which we term “band modulation narrowing” (BMN). Bymanipulating the ion migration with external stimuli such as illumination,temperature, and bias voltage, we can regulate in situ the energy-band structure of perovskite photodetectors (PPDs) and hence their spectral response.Combining the Fermi energy levels obtained by the Kelvin probe force microscopy, the internal potential profiles from solar cell capacitance simulator simulation, and the anion accumulation revealed by the transient ion-drifttechnique, we discover two critical mechanisms behind our BMN strategy: theextension of an optically active but electronically dead region proximal to the top electrode and the down-bending energy bands near the electron transportlayer. 11Multi-feature weight factor extraction and survival risk assessment of hepatocellular carcinoma based on a clinical missing dataset-independent support vector machine显示文摘Background:In clinical datasets,the characteristics of an individual patient vary so much that data loss becomes a normal event,which may be a unignorable dilemma in clinical data analysis.Therefore,the construction of a machine learning model aimed at missing clinical datasets(MCD)is of great clinical importance.Methods:All included patients were divided into two groups according to outcome within a period of up to 36 months or less.The following characteristics(variables)were collected:age,sex,Child-Pugh status,hepatitis status,cirrhosis status,treatment,tumor size,portal vein tumor thrombus,and alpha fetoprotein(μg/mL),and a missing dataset-independent support vector machine(MDI-SVM)independent of missing data was built for the analysis.Results:A MCD-independent SVM was developed based on clinical data from 1334 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)at a single center,which had an accuracy of 84.43%in the survival analysis in the presence of 5%missing data.Based on the different combinations of features,our model calculated five features(tumor size,age,treatment,hepatitis status,and alpha fetoprotein)that had the greatest impact on survival in patients with HCC and extracted their weighting factors.Conclusions:A MCD-independent SVM was developed to achieve prognosis prediction for patients with HCC in the absence of first-visit data.Fumin Wang Nan Zhang Xiaoning Wu Wei Zhang Qiang Lu Rongqian Wu Xu-Feng Zhang Hui Guo Yi Lv 2022iLIVER2022,1,3:0
12A new method for the synthesis of molybdovanadophosphoric heteropoly acids and their catalytic activities显示文摘An environmentally benign method for the syn-thesis of heteropoly acids H3+nPMo12–nVnO40·xH2O(PMoVn,n=1–3)was developed by the reaction of an aqueous slurry which contained stoichiometric amounts of MoO3,V2O5 and H3PO4.Characterization of the as-synthesized catalysts with inductively coupled plasma(ICP)elemental analysis,thermogravimetry(TG),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and infra-red(IR)spectroscopy indicated that V ions substituted for Mo ions in Keggin-type phosphomolybdic acid.The as-synthesized samples were found to be an efficient catalyst for the hydroxylation of benzene which was carried out in a mixed solvent of acetonitrile and acetic acid with aqueous hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.PMoV2 exhibited the highest benzene conversion of 34.5%with phenol selectivity of 100%.ZHANG Fumin GUO Maiping GE Hanqing WANG Jun 2007Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2007,1,3:0
13Atomistic understanding of interfacial processing mechanism of silicon in water environment:A ReaxFF molecular dynamics simulation显示文摘The interfacial wear between silicon and amorphous silica in water environment is critical in numerous applications.However,the understanding regarding the micro dynamic process is still unclear due to the limitations of apparatus.Herein,reactive force field simulations are utilized to study the interfacial process between silicon and amorphous silica in water environment,exploring the removal and damage mechanism caused by pressure,velocity,and humidity.Moreover,the reasons for high removal rate under high pressure and high velocity are elucidated from an atomic perspective.Simulation results show that the substrate is highly passivated under high humidity,and the passivation layer could alleviate the contact between the abrasive and the substrate,thus reducing the damage and wear.In addition to more Si-O-Si bridge bonds formed between the abrasive and the substrate,new removal pathways such as multibridge bonds and chain removal appear under high pressure,which cause higher removal rate and severer damage.At a higher velocity,the abrasive can induce extended tribochemical reactions and form more interfacial Si-O-Si bridge bonds,hence increasing removal rate.These results reveal the internal cause of the discrepancy in damage and removal rate under different conditions from an atomic level.Song YUAN Xiaoguang GUO Penghui LI Shuohua ZHANG Ming LI Zhuji JIN Renke KANG Dongming GUO Fumin LIU Lemin ZHANG 2021Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,3:0
