1Land Use Effects on the Distribution and Speciation of Heavy Metals and Arsenic in Coastal Soils on Chongming Island in the Yangtze River Estuary, China显示文摘The reclamation of tidal flats has been one of the important approaches to replenish the arable lands in the coastal areas; pollution status of reclaimed soils has received wide attention recently, especially for the study of heavy metals due to the relative high pollutant concentrations in wetlands. To understand the impact of land use change on heavy metal and arsenic(As) geochemistry by the reclamation of wetlands for agriculture, surface soils and soil profiles were collected from the agricultural land reclaimed in the 1990 s and the intertidal flat wetland at Dongtan on Chongming Island in the Yangtze River Estuary, China. The soil samples were analyzed for total concentrations and chemical speciation of chromium(Cr), zinc(Zn), copper(Cu), lead(Pb), nickel(Ni), cadmium(Cd) and As using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS). Results showed that soil properties(salinity, total organic carbon and grain-size distribution) and the concentrations of heavy metals and As in the soils differed under the different land use types. The conversion of wetland to forest had caused obvious losses of all the measured heavy metals. In paddy field and dryland with frequent cultivation, the concentrations of Cr, Zn, Cu, Ni and As were higher when compared to forest land which was disturbed rarely by human activities. Speciation analysis showed that Cr, Zn, Cu, Ni and As were predominated by the immobile residual fraction, while Pb and Cd showed relatively higher mobility. In general, metal(except Ni) and As mobility decreased in the following order: wetland> dryland ≥ paddy field > forest land, which suggested that the reclaimed soils had lower metal and As mobility than the intertidal flat wetland. 2Evaluation of paliperidone on social function in patients with chronic schizophrenia显示文摘Background The impairment of social function is widespread in the patients with chronic schizophrenia, which seriously affects family, life and work conditions.Aims The main purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of paliperidone in the treatment of social function in chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 81 patients who met the standard criteria for schizophrenia and long-term hospitalised inpatients were randomly divided into the treatment group and normal control group following a 1-year prospective follow-up study. The reatment group(41 cases) used paliperidone extended-release tablets for reducing dosage, as appropriate, based on the original treatment strategy; and the control group(40 cases) used the former drugs. All patients were assessed using the Positive and Negative Symptom Scales(PANSS), and the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS) was used to assess adverse drug reactions. The Hospitalised Psychiatric Patients' Social Functions Rating Scale(SSPI) was used to assess social function of participants before and after 8 weeks, 6 months and 1 year of treatment.Results At baseline there were no significant differences between the two groups in age, duration of illness, educational background and dosage of antipsychotic drugs(converted into chlorpromazine equivalency). There was statistically significant difference in PANSS positive symptoms by interaction effect(Fgroup×time=18.24, df=3237, p<0.001) and time effect(Ftime=21.66, df=3, p<0.01) and the difference in PANSS positive symptoms by grouping effect(Fgroup=0.68, df=1, p=0.41) was not statistically significant. The difference of grouping effect of PANSS negative symptoms(Fgroup=9.93, df=1, p=0.002), time effect(Ftime=279.15, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=279.15, df=3237, p<0.001) were statistically significant. There were statistically significant differences in the grouping effect(Fgroup=6.59, df=1, p=0.012), time effect(Ftime=152.97, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=148.82, df=3237, p<0.001) of PANSS general pathological symptoms, the same as the total score of the PANSS, which showed large differences in grouping effect(Fgroup=7.04, df=1, p=0.001), time effect(Ftime=210.78, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=205.20, df=3237, p<0.01). We found in the total SSPI score, grouping effect(Fgroup=31.70, df=1, p<0.001), time effect(Ftime=161.84, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=132.74, df=3237, p<0.001) were demonstrated to be significantly different. Even though adverse reactionsoccurred 7 times in the treatment group and 44 times in the control group based on the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS), incidence rate was significantly lower than that of the control group(χ2=18.854, p<0.001).Conclusion Paliperidone can safely and effectively improve negative symptoms and social function in patients with chronic schizophrenia.Yan Gu Hong Peng Jingjing Dai Hui Gao Xianghong Yang Jialing Sheng Chen Zhang 2018General Psychiatry2018,31,5:6

4Double adaptive selection strategy for MOEA/D显示文摘Since most parameter control methods are based on prior knowledge, it is difficult for them to solve various problems.In this paper, an adaptive selection method used for operators and parameters is proposed and named double adaptive selection(DAS) strategy. Firstly, some experiments about the operator search ability are given and the performance of operators with different donate vectors is analyzed. Then, DAS is presented by inducing the upper confidence bound strategy, which chooses suitable combination of operators and donates sets to optimize solutions without prior knowledge. Finally, the DAS is used under the framework of the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition, and the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on DAS(MOEA/D-DAS) is compared to state-of-the-art MOEAs. 6A super-network equilibrium optimization method for operation architecture with fuzzy demands显示文摘From the view of information flow, a super-network equilibrium optimization model is proposed to compute the solution of the operation architecture which is made up of a perceptive level, a command level and a firepower level. Firstly, the optimized conditions of the perceptive level, command level and firepower level are analyzed respectively based on the demand of information relation,and then the information supply-and-demand equilibrium model of the operation architecture super-network is established. Secondly,a variational inequality transformation(VIT) model for equilibrium optimization of the operation architecture is given. Thirdly, the contraction projection algorithm for solving the operation architecture super-network equilibrium optimization model with fuzzy demands is designed. 15Ultrathin metal-organic framework nanosheets (Cu-TCPP)-based isothermal nucleic acid amplification for food allergen detection显示文摘The rapid and accurate detection of peanuts and soybeans allergen is important to the food safety. In this study, Cu-TCPP nanosheet, a kind of ultra-thin metal-organic framework(MOF)was synthesized and applied in loop-mediated isothermal amplification(named Cu-TCPP@LAMP), which can inhibit the non-specific amplification by absorbing and precise temperature releasing of single primer. As thus, Cu-TCPP@LAMP can achieve high sensitivity and specific amplification of the target gene. As a result, peanut and soybean allergens genes contained in food were successfully detected with a favorable detection sensitivity(5 ng/μL for peanuts and 10 ng/μL for soybeans)and reliable repeatability(The coefficient of variation was 3.38% for peanuts and 3.33% for soybeans). Moreover, the established method was utilized for detection of several commercial products, and had a high consistency with the standard method. 20Saliency guided self-attention network for pedestrian attribute recognition in surveillance scenarios显示文摘Pedestrian attribute recognition is often considered as a multi-label image classification task. In order to make full use of attribute-related location information, a saliency guided self-attention network(SGSA-Net) was proposed to weakly supervise attribute localization, without annotations of attribute-related regions. Saliency priors were integrated into the spatial attention module(SAM). Meanwhile, channel-wise attention and spatial attention were introduced into the network. Moreover, a weighted binary cross-entropy loss(WCEL) function was employed to handle the imbalance of training data.
