| 1 | Duck egg drop syndrome virus:an emerging Tembusu-related flavivirus in China显示文摘Duck egg drop syndrome virus(DEDSV) is a newly emerging pathogenic flavivirus isolated from ducks in China.DEDSV infection mainly results in severe egg drop syndrome in domestic poultry,which leads to huge economic losses.Thus,the discovery of ways and means to combat DEDSV is urgent.Since 2010,a remarkable amount of progress concerning DEDSV research has been achieved.Here,we review current knowledge on the epidemiology,symptomatology,and pathology of DEDSV.A detailed dissection of the viral genome and polyprotein sequences,comparative analysis of viral antigenicity and the corresponding potential immunity against the virus are also summarized.Current findings indicate that DEDSV should be a distinct species from Tembusu virus.Moreover,the adaption of DEDSV in wildlife and its high homology to pathogenic flaviviruses(e.g.,West Nile virus,Japanese encephalitis virus,and dengue virus),illustrate its reemergence and potential to become a zoonotic pathogen that should not be overlooked.Detailed insight into the antigenicity and corresponding immunity against the virus is of clear significance for the development of vaccines and antiviral drugs specific for DEDSV. | LIU PeiPei LU Hao LI Shuang WU Ying George Fu GAO SU JingLiang | 2013 | Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,8: | 28 |

| 9 | A comparison study of hydrogen storage performances of SmMg_(11)Ni alloys prepared by melt spinning and ball milling显示文摘The melt spinning(MS) and ball milling(BM) technologies are thought to be efficient to prepare nanostructured Mg and Mg-based alloys for improving their hydrogen storage performances. In this paper, two technologies, viz. melt spinning and ball milling, were employed to fabricate the SmMg_(11)Ni alloy. The structure and hydrogen storage performance of these two kinds of alloys were researched in detail. The results reveal that the as-spun and milled alloys both contain nanocrystalline and amorphous structures. By means of the measurement of PCT curves, the thermodynamic parameters of the alloys prepared by MS and BM are ΔN_(Ms)(des) = 82.51 kJ/mol and ΔH_(BM)(des) = 81.68 kJ/mol, respectively, viz.ΔH_(MS)(des) > ΔH_(BM)(des). The as-milled alloy shows a larger hydrogen absorption capacity as compared with the as-spun one. The as-milled alloy exhibits lower onset hydrogen desorption temperature than the as-spun one. As to the as-milled and spun alloys, the onset hydrogen desorption temperatures are557.6 and 565.3 K, respectively. Additionally, the as-milled alloy shows a superior hydrogen desorption property than the as-spun one. On the basis of time that required by desorbing hydrogen of 3 wt% H_2, the as-milled alloy needs 1488.574,390 and 192 s corresponding to hydrogen desorption temperatures 593,613,633 and 653 K, while the as-spun alloy needs 3600,1020,778 and 306 s corresponding to the same temperatures. | 10 | Few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene for ultrafast photonics applications in visible band显示文摘Ti_(3)CN,as a typical hetero-MXene,has attracted tremendous attention for its unique properties.However,its ultrafast photonics applications are still rare.Here,the few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene was successfully prepared by selective etching and molecular delamination technique.The nonlinear optical response of few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene at 640 nm was studied using the open-aperture Z-scan technique.The asprepared Ti_(3)CN MXene sample exhibited excellent nonlinear saturable absorption characteristics,resulting in the nonlinear absorption coefficient b of4.05×10^(-2)cm/GW,which was one order of magnitude larger than that of black phosphorus(BP)and molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2)).For the optical modulation applications of few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene,passively Q-switched(PQS)solid-state visible lasers based on Ti_(3)CN saturable absorber(SA)at 522 nm,607 nm,639 nm,and 721 nm were successfully realized.Furthermore,a Ti_(3)CN-based stable passively mode-locked Pr:YLF red laser was also successfully achieved with a pulse duration of 30 ps,and the corresponding repetition rate was 73.1 MHz.The optical modulation device based on few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene shows good performance.Our work demonstrates that the tremendous prospects of the few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene as a visible optical modulation device in ultrafast photonics applications. | Zixin Yang Qi Yang Yulin Tian Xianghe Ren Chun Li Yuqian Zu Syed Zaheer Ud Din Lingfeng Gao Jian Wu Hualong Chen Han Zhang Jie Liu Jingliang He Abdullah GAl-Sehemi | 2023 | Journal of Materiomics2023,9,1: | 0 |
