1Non-ammonia enrichment of rare earth by magnesium oxide from rare earth leaching liquor in magnesium salt system显示文摘In order to solve the problem of ammonia-nitrogen pollution in the enrichment process of the ionadsorption type rare earth ore,the technology of non-ammonia precipitation with magnesium oxide precipitant was carried out.It is determined that the rare earth precipitation efficiency is 99.6%and the purity of rare earth concentrates is only 85.89 wt%under the optimum precipitation conditions.And the contents of MgO,SO3 and Al2O3 in the rare earth concentrates are 5.12 wt%,6.77 wt%and 1.78 wt%,respectively.Furthermore,the thermo-decomposition process of precipitates was investigated by TGDSC,XRD and FI-IR.The thermal decomposition process consists of two stages:the dehydration of rare earth hydroxide and alkaline rare earth sulfate within 900℃and the thermal decomposition of RE2O2SO4 at 900-1300℃.Therefore,a high-temperature calcinations method for removing SO3 from precipitates is proposed.When the precipitates are calcined at 1300℃for 2 h,the rare earth concentrates with a purity of 92.03 wt%can be acquired.Moreover,the content of SO3 in the concentrate is only 0.46 wt%.In the MgO precipitation and high-temperature calcinations process,the raw material cost is low and the quality of rare earth concentrates is acceptable.It could have great significance for nonammonia enrichment of rare earth from the rare earth leaching liquor,and finally solve the problem of ammonia nitrogen in the extraction process of the ion-adsorption type rare earth ore within magnesium salt system.Li Huang Guohua Gao Ran Wu Qian Zhang Fuguo Lai Yanfei Xiao 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,8:14
2A unifying approach in simulating the shot peening process using a 3D random representative volume finite element model显示文摘Using a modified 3D random representative volume(RV)finite element model,the effects of model dimensions(impact region and interval between impact and representative regions),model shapes(rectangular,square,and circular),and peening-induced thermal softening on resultant critical quantities(residual stress,Almen intensity,coverage,and arc height)after shot peening are systematically examined.A new quantity,i.e.,the interval between impact and representative regions,is introduced and its optimal value is first determined to eliminate any boundary effect on shot peening results.Then,model dimensions are respectively assessed for all model shapes to reflect the actual shot peening process,based on which shape-independent critical shot peening quantities are obtained.Further,it is found that thermal softening of the target material due to shot peening leads to variances of the surface residual stress and arc height,demonstrating the necessity of considering the thermal effect in a constitutive material model of shot peeing.Our study clarifies some of the finite element modeling aspects and lays the ground for accurate modeling of the SP process.Dianyin HU Ye GAO Fanchao MENG Jun SONG Yanfei WANG Mengxi REN Rongqiao WANG 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,4:13
3Recovery of rare earths from ion-absorbed rare earths ore with MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent显示文摘The magnesium sulfate leaching technology for the ion-absorbed rare earths ore can solve the ammonia pollution problem existing in ammonium sulfate leaching process. However, the leaching capacity of magnesium sulfate is slightly weaker than that of ammonium sulfate, resulting in a bigger consumption of magnesium sulfate. In this paper, the MgSO_4-ascorbic acid compound leaching agent had been demonstrated to deal with the ion-absorbed rare earths ore. The ascorbic acid could form a stable coordination with rare earth ions, so that it can strengthen the leaching of ion-exchangeable phase.Moreover, ascorbic acid has a strong reductive property, it can leach the colloidal sediment phase rare earth as well. The present study investigates the effect of the initial pH and the composition of leaching agent on the rare earth leaching. It is determined that the rare earth leaching efficiency is 107.5% under the condition of pH 2.00,0.15 mol/L magnesium sulfate and 1.0 g/L ascorbic acid in leaching agent. In this case, the content of the ion-exchangeable phase and colloidal sediment phase rare earth in the leaching residues are both only 0.02‰. The leaching efficiency of colloid sediment phase rare earth can be 85.7%,so that the Ce partition in the leaching liquor increases to be 5.77%. 4Strengthening in Al-,Mo-or Ti-doped CoCrFeNi high entropy alloys:A parallel comparison显示文摘In the current work,a parallel comparison of the influence of Al,Mo and Ti,on the microstructure and strengthening of the CoCrFeNi alloy was conducted.To achieve this,inconsistencies on variables including the extent of alloying,thermomechanical processing and property-evaluation method were avoided.Microstructurally,following cold-rolling,annealing of the 4 at.%Al-doped alloys at 800-1000℃ did not result in phase separation;nevertheless,that of the 4 at.%Mo-and Ti-doped alloys led to the respective formation ofσandηphase and,consequently,caused extra strengthening through the Orowan dislocation bypassing mechanism.Our systematic qualitative analysis and DFT calculations showed that Al and Ti are more effective than Mo in reducing the stacking fault energy(SFE)of the CoCrFeNi alloy,because they can induce more considerable deformation of electronic density,making the gliding of atomic layers easier.Following identical thermomechnical processing,Al-,Mo-,and Ti-doping causes different extent of solid solution strengthening and grain boundary strengthening.Mo causes the most pronounced solid solution strengthening but does not benefit the grain boundary strengthening;in contrast,the effectiveness of grain boundary strengthening is boosted by the doping Al and Ti.Current analyses support that Labusch instead of Fleischer mechanism is applicable to explain the differences in solid solution strengthening,and the observed differences in grain boundary strengthening arise from the different tendency of Al,Mo and Ti to reduce the SFE of CoCrFeNi.In addition,we determined the value of the dimensionless parameter f in the Labusch model for CoCrFeNi-based alloys and observed a close relation between Hall-Petch slope and SFE.Although more in-depth studies are needed to provide full and mechanistic understandings,both these findings in fact presents significant values toward designing novel singlephase high-strength CoCrFeNi-based alloys through manipulating the solid solution and grain boundary strengthening by compositional tuning.Xi Li Zhongtao Li Zhenggang Wu Shijun Zhao Weidong Zhang Hongbin Bei Yanfei Gao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,35:4
5Ln3+(Ln=Eu,Dy)-doped Sr2CeO4 fine phosphor particles:Wet chemical preparation,energy transfer and tunable luminescence显示文摘The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+(Ln=Eu,Dy)fine phosphor particles were prepared by a facile wet chemical approach,in which the consecutive hydrothermal-combustion reaction was performed.The doping of Ln3+into Sr2 CeO4 has little influence on the structure of host,and the as-prepared samples display wellcrystallized spherical or elliptical shape with an average particle size at about 100-200 nm.For Eu3+ions-doped Sr2 CeO4,with the increase of Eu3+-doping concentration,the blue light emission band with the maximum at 468 nm originating from a Ce4+→O2-charge transfer of the host decreases obviously and the characteristic red light emission of Eu3+(5 D0→7 F2 transition at 618 nm)is enhanced gradually.Simultaneously,the fluorescent lifetime of the broadband emission of Sr2 CeO4 decreases with the doping of Eu3+,indicating an efficient energy transfer from the host to the doping Eu3+ions.The ene rgy transfer efficiency from the host to Eu3+was investigated in detail,and the emitting color of Sr2 CeO4:Eu3+can be easily tuned from blue to red by varying the doping concentration of Eu3+ions.Moreover,the luminescence of Dy3+-doped Sr2 CeO4 was also studied.Similar energy transfer pheno menon can be observed,and the incorporation of Dy3+into Sr2 CeO4 host leads to the characteristic emission of 4 F9/2→6 H15/2(488 nm,blue light)and 4 F9/2→6 H13/2(574 nm,yellow light)of Dy3+.The Sr2 CeO4:Ln3+fine particles with tunable luminescence are quite beneficial for its potential applications in the optoelectronic fields.Na Gao Yanfei Yang Shikao Shi Jiye Wang Shuping Wang Jibiao Li Lianshe Fu 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12:4

7Tunable Dynamic Black Phosphorus/Insulator/Si Heterojunction Direct-Current Generator Based on the Hot Electron Transport显示文摘Static heterojunction-based electronic devices have been widely applied because carrier dynamic processes between semiconductors can be designed through band gap engineering.Herein,we demonstrate a tunable direct-current generator based on the dynamic heterojunction,whose mechanism is based on breaking the symmetry of drift and diffusion currents and rebounding hot carrier transport in dynamic heterojunctions.Furthermore,the output voltage can be delicately adjusted and enhanced with the interface energy level engineering of inserting dielectric layers.Under the ultrahigh interface electric field,hot electrons will still transfer across the interface through the tunneling and hopping effect.In particular,the intrinsic anisotropy of black phosphorus arising from the lattice structure produces extraordinary electronic,transport,and mechanical properties exploited in our dynamic heterojunction generator.Herein,the voltage of 6.1 V,current density of 124.0 A/m^(2),power density of 201.0 W/m^(2),and energy-conversion efficiency of 31.4%have been achieved based on the dynamic black phosphorus/AlN/Si heterojunction,which can be used to directly and synchronously light up light-emitting diodes.This direct-current generator has the potential to convert ubiquitous mechanical energy into electric energy and is a promising candidate for novel portable and miniaturized power sources in the in situ energy acquisition field.Yanghua Lu Sirui Feng Runjiang Shen Yujun Xu Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Haonan Zheng Xutao Yu Qiuyue Gao Panpan Zhang Shisheng Lin 2019Research2019,,1:2
8Nutrient value of wild fodder species and the implications for improving the diet of mithun (Bos frontalis) in Dulongjiang area, Yunnan Province, China显示文摘Wild fodder plants are valuable because they provide an important livestock feed resource globally,especially for smallholder farmers,and have important roles in natural resource management.In-depth knowledge of wild forage plants can motivate local people for feed resource and habitat conservation of threatened herbivores such as Mithun(Bos frontalis).Mithun occur in small patches in the mountains of Dulongjiang,nearby villagers domesticated this animal but left animal to freely graze in the mountains.Many fodder plants occur in these mountains,however,little is known about their nutritional value.We conducted an ethnobotanical survey to document important wild fodder plants consumed by mithun in the Dulongjiang Township.The nutritional content of 21 highly mentioned wild fodder plants in an ethnobotanical survey was examined.Laboratory analysis showed that Fagopyrum dibotrys were the fodder species with the highest crude protein(CP)content(26.89%),followed by Polygonum molle(21.88%)and Hydrangea longipes(21.12%).Synthesis of relative feed value index and grey relational grade,P.molle,H.longipes and Tetrastigma obtectum were ranked the top three nutritional fodders.There was a significant difference between 21 species on their in vitro digestibility and the most highly digestible fodder species was Elatostema hookerianum.Linear model analysis on relationship between frequency of citation of 21 wild forage plants by local farmers and their nutrient composition showed that the frequency was significantly positively correlated with the nutritional value of the feed(R2?0.28,P<0.05).We concluded that these species have high nutritional values to improve mithun production in integrated crop-livestock systems.Fodder species or mixtures of species with useful nutritional characters could be cultivated to improve livestock productivity,habitat conservation including that of mithun and wild forage resource management.Yanfei Geng Sailesh Ranjitkar Qiaoshun Yan Zhijun He Baqi Su Shengtao Gao Junli Niu Dengpan Bu Jianchu Xu 2020Plant Diversity2020,42,6:2
9Identification of a potential tumor suppressor gene, UBL3, in non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: Oncogenes have been shown to be drivers of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC), yet the tumor suppressing genes involved in lung carcinogenesis remain to be systematically investigated. This study aimed to identify tumor suppressing ubiquitin pathway genes(UPGs) that were critical to lung tumorigenesis.Methods: The 696 UPGs were silenced by an siRNA screening in NSCLC cells;the potential tumor suppressing UPGs were analyzed, and their clinical significance was investigated.Results: We reported that silencing of 11 UPGs resulted in enhanced proliferation of NSCLC cells, and four UPGs(UBL3, TRIM22, UBE2 G2, and MARCH1) were significantly downregulated in tumor samples compared to that in normal lung tissues and their expression levels were positively associated with overall survival(OS) of NSCLC patients. Among these genes, UBL3 was the most significant one. UBL3 expression was decreased in tumor samples compared to that in paired normal lung tissues in 59/86(68.6%) NSCLCs, was correlated with TNM stage and sex of NSCLC patients, and was significantly higher in non-smoking patients than in smoking patients. 10Interfacial Built-In Electric Field-Driven Direct Current Generator Based on Dynamic Silicon Homojunction显示文摘Searching for light and miniaturized functional device structures for sustainable energy gathering from the environment is the focus of energy society with the development of the internet of things.The proposal of a dynamic heterojunction-based direct current generator builds up new platforms for developing in situ energy.However,the requirement of different semiconductors in dynamic heterojunction is too complex to wide applications,generating energy loss for crystal structure mismatch.Herein,dynamic homojunction generators are explored,with the same semiconductor and majority carrier type.Systematic experiments reveal that the majority of carrier directional separation originates from the breaking symmetry between carrier distribution,leading to the rebounding effect of carriers by the interfacial electric field.Strikingly,NN Si homojunction with different Fermi levels can also output the electricity with higher current density than PP/PN homojunction,attributing to higher carrier mobility.The current density is as high as 214.0 A/m^(2),and internal impedance is as low as 3.6 kΩ,matching well with the impedance of electron components.Furthermore,the N-i-N structure is explored,whose output voltage can be further improved to 1.3V in the case of the N-Si/Al2O3/N-Si structure,attributing to the enhanced interfacial barrier.This approach provides a simple and feasible way of converting low-frequency disordered mechanical motion into electricity.Yanghua Lu Qiuyue Gao Xutao Yu Haonan Zheng Runjiang Shen Zhenzhen Hao Yanfei Yan Panpan Zhang Yu Wen Guiting Yang Shisheng Lin 2020Research2020,,1:2
11DIW1 encoding a cladeⅠPP2C phosphatase negatively regulates drought tolerance by de-phosphorylating TaSnRK1.1 in wheat显示文摘Drought seriously impacts wheat production(Triticum aestivum L.),while the exploitation and utilization of genes for drought tolerance are insufficient.Leaf wilting is a direct reflection of drought tolerance in plants.Clade A PP2Cs are abscisic acid(ABA)co-receptors playing vital roles in the ABA signaling pathway,regulating drought response.However,the roles of other clade PP2Cs in drought tolerance,especially in wheat,remain largely unknown.Here,we identified a gain-of-function drought-induced wilting 1(DIW1)gene from the wheat Aikang 58 mutant library by map-based cloning,which encodes a cladeⅠprotein phosphatase 2C(TaPP2C158)with enhanced protein phosphatase activity.Phenotypic analysis of overexpression and CRISPR/Cas9 mutant lines demonstrated that DIW1/TaPP2C158 is a negative regulator responsible for drought resistance.We found that TaPP2C158 directly interacts with TaSnRK1.1 and de-phosphorylates it,thus inactivating the TaSnRK1.1–Ta AREB3 pathway.TaPP2C158 protein phosphatase activity is negatively correlated with ABA signaling.Association analysis suggested that C-terminal variation of TaPP2C158 changing protein phosphatase activity is highly correlated with the canopy temperature,and seedling survival rate under drought stress.Our data suggest that the favorable allele with lower phosphatase activity of TaPP2C158 has been positively selected in Chinese breeding history.This work benefits us in understanding the molecular mechanism of wheat drought tolerance,and provides elite genetic resources and molecular markers for improving wheat drought tolerance.Jingyi Wang Chaonan Li Long Li Lifeng Gao Ge Hu Yanfei Zhang Matthew P.Reynolds Xueyong Zhang Jizeng Jia Xinguo Mao Ruilian Jing 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,8:1

13Effects of Soil Testing and Formulated Fertilization on Yield and Economic Benefit of Major Crops in Burundi显示文摘[Objectives]The purpose of this study was to provide technical support for high-yield cultivation of major crops in Burundi,thereby increasing local farmers'income and promoting sustainable development of agriculture in Burundi.[Methods]In the IMBO and MOSO test stations of the Burundi Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Burundi Fruit and Vegetable Extension and Service Center,soil testing and formulated fertilization test and demonstration was carried out in rice,maize and cabbage.The test set up three treatments,soil testing and formulated fertilization(STFF),local routine fertilization(RF)and non-fertilization(CK)to investigate the effects of soil testing and formulated fertilization on the yield and economic benefit of the crops.[Results]In the plot test,the yield and net economic benefit of rice,maize and cabbage were both highest in the STFF treatment.Compared with those in the RF treatment,the yield of rice,maize and cabbage increased by 19.0%,25.7%and 33.0%,respectively,and the net economic benefit increased by 4292,2837 and 8232 yuan/ha,respectively.In the field test,the yield and net economic benefit of rice,maize and cabbage were also both highest in the STFF treatment.The yield increased by 18.1%,24.3%and 25.9%,respectively,and the net economic benefit increased by 4142,2881 and 8665 yuan/ha,respectively compared with those in the RF treatment.[Conclusions]Soil testing and formulated fertilization not only increased rice,maize and cabbage yield per unit area,but also increased farmers'income in Burundi.It is one of the important technical measures to promote the increase of agricultural production and income in Burundi.Kaiqiang LIU Yuyi HUANG Yanfei HUANG Guifen CHEN Guoqing GAO 2020Asian Agricultural Research2020,12,3:1

15Diabetic vascular diseases:molecular mechanisms and therapeutic strategies显示文摘Vascular complications of diabetes pose a severe threat to human health.Prevention and treatment protocols based on a single vascular complication are no longer suitable for the long-term management of patients with diabetes.Diabetic panvascular disease(DPD)is a clinical syndrome in which vessels of various sizes,including macrovessels and microvessels in the cardiac,cerebral,renal,ophthalmic,and peripheral systems of patients with diabetes,develop atherosclerosis as a common pathology.Pathological manifestations of DPDs usually manifest macrovascular atherosclerosis,as well as microvascular endothelial function impairment,basement membrane thickening,and microthrombosis.Cardiac,cerebral,and peripheral microangiopathy coexist with microangiopathy,while renal and retinal are predominantly microangiopathic.The following associations exist between DPDs:numerous similar molecular mechanisms,and risk-predictive relationships between diseases.Aggressive glycemic control combined with early comprehensive vascular intervention is the key to prevention and treatment.In addition to the widely recommended metformin,glucagon-like peptide-1 agonist,and sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors,for the latest molecular mechanisms,aldose reductase inhibitors,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γagonizts,glucokinases agonizts,mitochondrial energy modulators,etc.are under active development.DPDs are proposed for patients to obtain more systematic clinical care requires a comprehensive diabetes care center focusing on panvascular diseases.This would leverage the advantages of a cross-disciplinary approach to achieve better integration of the pathogenesis and therapeutic evidence.Such a strategy would confer more clinical benefits to patients and promote the comprehensive development of DPD as a discipline.Yiwen Li Yanfei Liu Shiwei Liu Mengqi Gao Wenting Wang Keji Chen Luqi Huang Yue Liu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5:1

17Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c.
