3Investigation on Microcrystalline Wax Doped Asphalts by Temperature Control Mode of Atomic Force Microscopy显示文摘Because of its economical and environmentally friendly characteristics, the warm mix asphalt(WMA) is widely used in pavement engineering. However, the lack of microscopic study of WMA brings difficulties in understanding of its mechanical behavior and mechanisms at macroscopic scale which finally hinders the enhancement of WMA's performance. Therefore, this article aims to use atomic force microscopy(AFM), a promising microscopic technique, to investigate the effects of wax-based warm mix agents on asphalt microstructures and micromechanical properties at different temperatures. For simplicity's sake, microcrystalline waxes are selected as an alternative of these wax-based additives. It is shown that the sample preparation method has a vital impact on the morphology of asphalt samples. The effects of microcrystalline wax on asphalt's mechanical properties can be well captured by AFM tests. Results show that the blending of #70, #80 and #90 microcrystalline waxes lowers the modulus(20—60 MPa) of Pen70 asphalt at 25 ℃ while increasing its adhesion force(5—20 n N). 7Complementary bilayer metasurfaces for enhanced terahertz wave amplitude andphase manipulation显示文摘Manipulation of terahertz wave by metasurfaces has shown tremendous potential in developing compact and functional terahertz optical devices.Here,we propose complementary bilayer metasurfaces for enhanced terahertz wave amplitude and phase manipulation.The metasurfaces are composed of one layer of metal cut-wire arrays and one layer of their complementary aperture arrays separated by a dielectric spacer.Through the near-field coupling between transverse magnetic resonances in the metal apertures and electric resonances in the metal cut-wires,the structures can manipulate the cross polarization conversion and phase dispersion of terahertz wave.Particularly,the designed metasurfaces demonstrate a phase delay of 180°between two orthogonal axes with the same transmission amplitude between 0.70 and 1.0 THz,enabling a 45°broadband polarization conversion.When the metal cut-wires are rotated with respect to the apertures or the thickness of the dielectric spacer is changed,the amplitude and phase dispersion of the transmitted terahertz wave can be tuned.Such complementary coupled bilayer metasurfaces offer a new method to control the amplitude and phase dispersion of terahertz wave and promise great potential for applications in terahertz meta-devices.Dacheng Wang Yandong Gong Minghui Hong 2017光电工程2017,44,1:0
8The Influential Factors of Semi-Flexible Pavement Cracking Performance显示文摘The cracking performance of semi-flexible pavement(SFP) was investigated by using the semi-circular bending(SCB) test in this paper. Thirteen grouting slurries were prepared. The compressive strength of these materials ranges from 3 to 100 MPa. The relationship between the compressive strength of the grouting slurry and the cracking property of SFP was obtained at different loading rates and different temperatures. The peak load, fracture energy(E), flexible index(FI), and cracking resistance index(CRI) were calculated to determine the material performance. The results show that the compressive strength of the grout influences the cracking behavior. With a higher comprehensive strength grouting slurry, the FI value of SFP decreased initially and then increased slightly at 25 ℃ in 50 mm/min. The CRI value decreased at the same time. E values changed just according to the test temperature and loading rate. The damage paths of SFP are different. The damage path of the SFP sample appears as diffuse damage at 1 mm/min at 60 ℃ or clean damage at 50 mm/min at 25 ℃. These findings indicate that there is a correlation between the compressive strength of grouting slurry and SFP cracking behavior. 9An investigation on failure behavior of semi-flexible composite mixture at different temperatures显示文摘Semi-flexible composite mixture(SFCM)is a kind of pavement material formed by pouring cement-based grout material into a porous asphalt mixture with air voids from 20%to 30%.SFCM is widely used for its outstanding anti-rutting performance.Its mechanical performance is complicated due to its heterogeneity and interlocking structure.According to the present study,asphalt deforms at different temperatures,whereas cement-based grout has no similar characteristics.Rare research focuses on the temperature-based performance of SFCM.Therefore,the study was on the thermal performance of SFCM by seven open-graded asphalt mixture skeletons with different porosities and two types of grouts with early strength(ES)and high strength(HS).The test temperatures ranged from 10℃to 60℃.The mechanical investigation was performed using the semi-circular-bending(SCB)and beam bending tests.The strain sensor was used for analyzing the thermal performance of SFCM.The results show that the temperature significantly affected the SFCM's performance.The porosity was selected for three sections based on the trend of fracture energy(Gf)curves at 25℃.The turning points were the porosity values of 20%and 26%.The initiation slope during elastic deformation increases with the porosity increase.This trend was more evident at intermediate temperature.The shrink strain of SFCM was lower than that of the usual asphalt mixture(AC).The thermal stress of the SFCM filled with HS(HS-SFCM)was higher than that of the SFCM filled with ES(ES-SFCM)at 10℃.Moreover,the thermal failure characteristics of SFCM were influenced by porosity.Zijia Xiong Minghui Gong Jinxiang Hong Lei Zhang 2023Journal of Road Engineering2023,3,2:0
10Edge localized modes suppression via edge E × B velocity shear induced by RF sheath of ion cyclotron resonance heating in EAST显示文摘The control of large edge localized modes(ELMs) is a critical issue for the successful operation of future burning plasma devices,such as the international thermonuclear experimental reactor(ITER) and China fusion engineering test reactor(CFETR). In this paper, we present a new active and effective means of ELM suppression using ion cyclotron resonant heating(ICRH) on the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST). We obtained the key role of the external E × B velocity shear near the pedestal top and the scrape-off-layer(SOL) induced by the RF sheath potential of ICRH in ELM suppression. The experimental results showed a positive correlation between the RF sheath and the E × B shear rate in SOL. BOUT++ simulations indicate that increased E × B velocity shear rates in the pedestal and SOL regions promote ELM suppression;thereby, supporting the experimental observations on EAST. 11辣椒(Capsicum annuum L.)热休克因子家族(CaHsfs)全基因组分析、表达谱分析及CaHsfA2的鉴定显示文摘背景:热休克因子(Hsf)在植物生长和防御过程中具有重要作用。辣椒(Capsicum annuum L.)是重要的蔬菜作物,其产量和质量受高温、盐渍及渗透胁迫等环境胁迫影响而严重降低。尽管辣椒基因组测序已经完成,但Hsf家族在非生物胁迫条件下的作用尚不明确。结果:通过生物信息学分析及PCR检测,在辣椒基因组中共鉴定出25个CaHsf。根据Hsf的保守结构域,CaHsf可分为3类,分别是CaHsf A、CaHsf B和CaHsf C;除第11号染色体外,该家族基因在其他11条染色体上均有分布;除CaHsf A5外,该家族蛋白均能形成蛋白互作网络。据辣椒栽培种CM334的转录组数据,大部分CaHsf基因在根、茎、叶、果皮、胎座等组织中不止一处表达。q RT-PCR表明,除耐热株系R9叶片中的CaHsfC1外,所有CaHsf均响应高温胁迫(40℃,2 h);且其表达模式与热敏株系B6的CaHsf表达模式不同。许多CaHsf也受到盐胁迫、渗透胁迫、外源Ca^(2+)、腐胺、ABA和茉莉酮酸甲酯的调控。此外,CaHsfA2定位于细胞核,且具有转录活性,具有Hsf的典型特征。随时间变化,CaHsfA2响应高温胁迫的表达谱表明,CaHsfA2在辣椒热敏株系B6与耐热株系R9中的表达模式与表达水平均不相同。结论:从辣椒基因组中鉴定了25个Hsf,多数响应高温胁迫、盐胁迫、渗透胁迫及外源物质,为进一步研究辣椒CaHsf在各非生物胁迫中的功能及相应的信号转导途径奠定了基础。Guo Meng Lu Jinping Zhai Yufei Chai Weiguo Gong Zhenhui Lu Minghui 刘越 孔秋生 2017辣椒杂志2017,,1:0
