| 2 | Wavelength-sensitive photocatalytic H2 evolution from H2S splitting over g-C3N4 with S,N-codoped carbon dots as the photosensitizer显示文摘Photocatalytic splitting of hydrogen sulfide(H2S) for hydrogen evolution is a promising method to solve the energy and environmental issues.In this work,S,N-codoped carbon dots(S,N-CDs)/graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4) nanosheet is synthesized by hydrothermal method as an efficient photocatalyst for the decomposition of H2S.In addition to the characterization of the morphology and structure,chemical state,optical and electrochemical performances of S,N-CDs/g-C3N4,hydrogen evolution tests show that the activity of g-C3N4 is improved by introducing S,N-CDs,and the enhancement depends strongly on the wavelength of incident light.The photocatalytic hydrogen production rate of S,N-CDs/g-C3N4 composite reaches 832 μmol g-1h-1, which is 38 times to that of g-C3N4 under irradiation at 460 nm.Density functional theory calculations and electron paramagnetic resonance as well as photoluminescence technologies have altogether authenticated that the unique wavelength-dependent photosensitization of S,N-CDs on g-C3N4;meanwhile,a good match between the energy level of S,N-CDs and g-C3N4 is pivotal for the effective photocatalytic activity.Our work has unveiled the detailed mechanism of the photocatalytic activity enhancement in S,N-CDs/g-C3N4 composite and showed its potential in photocatalytic splitting of H2S for hydrogen evolution. | Zhanghui Xie Shan Yu Xiang-Bing Fan Shiqian Wei Limei Yu Yunqian Zhong Xue-Wang Gao Fan Wu Ying Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1: | 2 |

| 9 | A Novel Design Framework for Smart Operating Robot in Power System显示文摘This paper proposes the concept and framework of smart operating system based on the artificial intelligence(AI)techniques. The demands and the potential applications of AI technologies in power system control centers is discussed in the beginning of the paper. The discussion is based on the results of a field study in the Tianjin Power System Control Center in China. According to the study, one problem in power systems is that the power system analysis system in the control center is not fast and powerful enough to help the operators in time to deal with the incidents in the power system. Another issue in current power system control center is that the operation tickets are compiled manually by the operators, so that it is less efficient and human errors cannot be avoided. Based on these problems, a framework of the smart operating robot is proposed in this paper, which includes an intelligent power system analysis system and a smart operation ticket compiling system to solve the two problems in power system control centers. | 17 | Cancer Therapy by Targeting Thioredoxin Reductase Based on Selenium-Containing Dynamic Covalent Bond显示文摘Thioredoxin Reductase(TrxR)plays a pivotal role in defending cells against reactive oxygen species(ROS)and maintaining a reduced intracellular environment.It has been discovered that TrxR is elevated significantly in human cancer,evidenced by its association with the promotion of tumor cell proliferation,inhibiting tumor cell apoptosis,as well as enhancing tumor drug resistance.Hence,finding highly selective inhibitors of TrxR is urgently needed.Herein,we developed a selenium-containing small molecule(EbD),which had two Se–N bonds.Under reduction conditions,the two Se–N bonds reacted with Se–H bond and S–H bond in TrxR to form new Se–Se bond and Se–S bonds,respectively.Subsequently,the newly formed bonds were able to disrupt the thioredoxin(Trx)reduction catalytic cycle,and thus,inhibited the TrxR activity irreversibly,which resulted in the collapse of the antioxidant system.As a consequence,ROS levels elevated that triggered cancer cell apoptosis.This strategy,based on selenium-containing dynamic covalent bonds,provides a new avenue for cancer therapy via targeting TrxR. | Shuojiong Pan Jichun Yang Shaobo Ji Tianyu Li Shiqian Gao Chenxing Sun Huaping Xu | 2020 | CCS Chemistry2020,2,3: | 0 |
