1Distribution of heavy metals in the water column,suspended particulate matters and the sediment under hydrodynamic conditions using an annular flume显示文摘Sediment resuspension plays an important role in the transport and fate of heavy metals in the aquatic environment.In the present study,the release and binding forms of Cr,Cu,Zn,Pb under hydrodynamic conditions were investigated using an annular flume.Two sediments located at YLZ and GBD from Liangshui River,Beijing were resuspended for 10hr at 0.159 and 0.267m/sec,respectively.The concentrations of suspended particulate matters of YLZ were higher than those of GBD during resuspension,indicating that the former sediment is more sensitive to the velocity.Cr in the dissolved phase stayed nearly constant at about 2.25 and 1.84μg/L for YLZ and GBD,respectively,due to the high percentage of its stable binding fractions in both sediments,while Cu,Zn,and Pb showed a fast release in the initial period of time.However,their concentrations in SPM generally decreased with time and were higher at the lower velocity of 0.159m/sec,which resulted from the entrainment and depressing effect of larger size particles with lower heavy metal content,commonly referred to as the 'particle concentration effect'.In addition,the binding form and heavy metal fractions were also found to vary during the resuspension event.A decrease in the sulphide/organic matters bounded form in GBD sediment was observed,whereas no visible changes were perceived in YLZ site samples.This phenomenon is due to the oxidation of heavy metal-sulphide binding forms,which originated from its high acid volatile sulphide content in GBD sediment.Jianzhi Huang Xiaopeng Ge Dongsheng Wang 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,12:12
2Characterization of nanoscale iron and its degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenol显示文摘Nanoscale iron was detected by TEM, X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that the size of the nanoscale iron particles is in the range of 30?40 nm according to TEM image, and it contains abundant Fe3O4 as passivating layers on the surface of the core-shell structure. To improve its performance, dilute HCl was used for the removal of the passivating layers, and the degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) was measured for the nanoscale iron samples treated and untreated. Experimental results demonstrated that the removal of 2,4-DCP by untreated nanoscale iron is mainly due to the adsorption of 2, 4-DCP by nanoscale iron, and there are no degradation products detected by HPLC in the process. However, excellent dechlorination of 2,4-DCP was gained by HCl-treated nanoscale iron, and 2-chlorophenol, 4-chlorophenol and phenol were detected during the process. 3Remobilization of heavy metals during the resuspension of Liangshui River sediments using an annular flume显示文摘The release and transport of heavy metals(Ni,Cr,Cu and Pb) from Liangshui River sediments into the overlying water column during the resuspension event were determined using an annular flume with a velocity ranging from 0.15 to 0.35 m/s.It is shown that the suspended particulate matters(SPM) increased as much as nearly 25 times from 165 to 4220 mg/L as the velocity increased.Heavy metals showed an increase in dissolved phase as the velocity increased due to their desorption from the SPM.Acid-soluble heavy metals increased as the velocity increased,indicating that part of the heavy metals transformed from stable phase to labile phase during resuspension.Heavy metal concentrations in the SPM on volume normalization increased by approximately 2-6 times.However,on the mass weighted basis they decreased,approaching the bulk-sediment contents at high velocity,due to the 'particle concentration effect'.The distribution coefficients(K D) of heavy metals were higher at slower velocity during the sediment resuspension,which could be attributed to the decrease of fine particles(silt/clay fraction) during resuspension.HUANG JianZhi GE XiaoPeng YANG XiaoFang ZHENG Bei WANG DongSheng 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,27:4

5Dechlorination of 2,4-dichlorophenol by nickel nanoparticles under the acidic conditions显示文摘Metal nanoparticles are effective for remediation of contamination with a range of compounds including chlorinated organics.However,the sorption process of the passivation oxide layers on the metal nanoparticle surfaces may result in incomplete degradation of contaminants.This phenomenon can be prevented by an acidic washing procedure or reaction in an acidic medium.In this paper,nickel nanoparticles manufactured via the carbonyl powder process were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.The sorption and degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) by nickel nanoparticles under acidic conditions was then investigated.Transmission electron microscopy and XRD results showed that the nickel nanoparticles range in size from 10 to 20 nm,and a thin passivation layer of NiO is present on the surface.This oxide layer can be removed by pretreatment washing with acidic solutions.It was indicated that dechlorination was the key reaction pathway for degradation of 2,4-DCP by nickel nanoparticles under acidic conditions.The main degradation products were 4-Chlorophenol,2-Chlorophenol,and Phenol,and among these,Phenol was dominant.The acidic medium promoted degradation by providing an appropriate pH,and H+ may be involved in the reaction.Dechlorination of 2,4-DCP by nickel nanoparticles under the acidic condition follows the second order kinetic model,and the rate constants at 298,306,316 K are 0.02,0.2 and 0.3 (g L h)-1,respectively.FENG Li GE XiaoPeng LI Yi WANG DongSheng TANG HongXiao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,21:1

14不同形态氮化合物添加对中国北方盐渍化草地土壤呼吸的影响显示文摘持续增加的氮沉降在提高陆地生态系统生产力的同时也会对土壤微生物产生显著影响:土壤呼吸由植物根系呼吸和土壤微生物呼吸组成,因此影响植物生产力和微生物的因子都会影响到土壤呼吸。以往氮富集对土壤呼吸的研究主要在土壤中性的草地生态系统开展,而对于盐渍化草地土壤呼吸是如何响应氮沉降的研究尚不多见,这限制了全球变化陆地生态系统土壤呼吸模型预测的准确性和完整性。本研究以中国北方农牧交错带盐渍化草地为研究对象,通过3年(2017-2019年)野外监测土壤呼吸及相关生物和非生物因子的变化,探讨了不同形态氮化合物添加(NH_(4)NO_(30、(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)和NH_(4)HCO_(3))对盐渍化草地土壤呼吸的影响及其调控机制。结果表明:(ⅰ)土壤呼吸受大气温度、土壤温度及降水的调控,呈现双峰的季节动态变化趋势和显著的年际差异。(ⅱ)与对照相比,经过3年的处理,土壤呼吸在NH_(4)NO_(3)、(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)和NH_(4)HCO_(3)添加处理下分别提高了19.9%、13.0%和16.6%。(ⅲ)NH_(4)NO_(3)添加对土壤呼吸较高的促进作用与较高的地上生物量、地下生物量以及土壤NO-含量有关。(ⅳ)在NH_(4)HCO_(3)添加处理下,土壤碳排放(土壤呼吸)显著增加而碳输入(净生产力)无显著改变,表明NHHCO,添加会降低土壤碳的固持。(ⅴ)净地下生产力(BNPP)是盐渍化草地土壤呼吸的最主要调控因子,并且土壤阳离子浓度和pH值通过影响土壤微生物间接影响土壤呼吸。上述研究结果表明,草地添加NHNO,的研究高估了氮沉降对土壤呼吸的影响,并且在碳循环预测模型中应充分考虑盐渍化草地土壤碳动态。Huajie Diao Xiaopeng Chen Ge Wang Qiushi Ning Shuya Hu Wei Sun Kuanhu Dong Changhui Wang 2022Journal of Plant Ecology2022,15,5:1
15Analysis of on-chip distributed interconnects based on Pade expansion显示文摘In this paper, on-chip interconnects are modeled as distributed parameter RLCG transmission lines, based on which the matrix ABCD of interconnects is deduced. With help of the ABCD matrix, a voltage transfer function of an interconnect system, consisting of a driver, interconnect line and load, is obtained analytically in the form of a transcen-dental function, and it is reduced to a finite order system based on high order Pade approximation. With the reduced-order transfer function, response waveforms with step input can be obtained, and signal delay can be calculated consequently. 16Linking elements to outcomes of knowledge transfer in the project environment: Current review and future direction显示文摘A project is a specific effort to create a unique product,so it is a favorable place for knowledge creation and development.Knowledge can be transferred inside and outside projects and their parent project-based organizations,thus affecting project performance and organizational competitiveness.However,the current research on the elements and outcomes of knowledge transfer(KT)in the project environment lacks completeness and clarity,and that on the different levels of KT is fragmented.This study aims to conduct comprehensive research to determine and link the elements and outcomes of KT in the project environment.The authors systematically analyzed the relevant literature from 2000 to 2021,which showed an increasing publication trend.They divided KT in the project environment into three levels according to the transfer scenario:Intra-project,cross-project,and cross-organizational KT.Five-dimensional transfer elements and two-dimensional transfer outcomes were then identified and analyzed from previous literature.Lastly,the relationships between the transfer elements and outcomes were gathered to create a comprehensive model.Importantly,the knowledge gap in the current literature was highlighted,and future research directions were put forward.This study builds a theoretical framework linking transfer elements to outcomes that can serve as a basis for scholars and practitioners to develop effective strategies for KT in the project environment.Qianwen ZHOU Xiaopeng DENG Ge WANG Amin MAHMOUDI 2022Frontiers of Engineering Management2022,9,2:0
17A specific assay for JmjC domain-containing lysine demethylase and its application to inhibitor screening显示文摘Dear Editor, Chromatin is the macromolecular complex of DNA and histone proteins, which provides the scaffold for the packaging of our entire genome. In the basic unit of chromatin, the nucleosomes contain 147 base pairs of DNA, which is wrapped around a histone octamer, with two each of histones H2A, H2B, H3, and H4. Several types of post-translational modifications, including acetylation, phosphorylation, ubiquitination, and methylation, are possible on the tails of histones (Zhang et al., 2015). Combinations of these modifications determine the chromatin structure and transcriptional regulation of genes. Histone methylation is highlighted because of the specific dynamics related to gene regulation. Aberrant histone methylation has been observed in many types of tumors (Albert and Helin, 2010) and may contribute to the neoplastic transformation of cells (Chi et al., 2010). Histone lysine methylation is regulated by two classes of enzymes that have opposing activities: histone lysine methyltransferases (KMTs) and histone lysine demethylases (KDMs). 18Photoelectron spectroscopy of terpenoids and prediction of their rate constants in atmospheric oxidation reactions显示文摘The electronic structures of six mono-terpenoids and two of their oxygenated derivatives were studied by He I photoelectron spectroscopy(PES).The observed bands were interpreted on the basis of empirical arguments and theoretical calculations.The first vertical ionization potentials for β-pinene,α-terpinene,terpinolene,γ-terpinene,limonene,myrcene,citral,and terpinene-4-ol were determined to be 8.73,7.57,8.26,8.30,8.53,8.68,8.71,and 8.77 eV,respectively.Most of these values have not been determined by PES before.The correlations of the first vertical ionization potentials of these compounds to the natural logarithms of rate constants for their reactions with the radicals OH,NO3,and O3 were determined.The correlation coefficients for their reactions with OH,NO3,and O3 were 0.97,0.91,and 0.95,respectively.This method is a powerful technique for predicting the rate constants for the atmospheric oxidation reactions of terpenoids.WANG XiaoPeng TONG ShengRui GE MaoFa WANG WeiGang WANG DianXun 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,35:0
