1PandaX: a liquid xenon dark matter experiment at CJPL显示文摘PandaX is a large liquid-xenon detector experiment usable for direct dark-matter detection and 136Xe double-beta decay search.The central vessel was designed to accommodate a staged target volume increase from initially 120 kg(stage I)to 0.5 t(stage II)and eventually to a multi-ton scale.The experiment is located in the Jinping Deep-Underground Laboratory in Sichuan,China.The detector operates in dual-phase mode,allowing detection of both prompt scintillation,and ionization charge through proportional scintillation.In this paper a detailed description of the stage I detector design and performance as well as results established during the commissioning phase are presented.CAO XiGuang CHEN Xun CHEN YunHua CUI XiangYi FANG DeQing FU ChangBo GIBONI Karl L. 2Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 4Enhanced photocatalytic activity of Gd3+ doped TiO2 and Gd2O3 modified TiO2 prepared via ball milling method显示文摘Gd^3+/TiO2 and Gd2O3/TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by ball milling method.The effects of Gd^3+ion and Gd2O3 on the structure and optical property of TiO2 were studied by XRD and UV-vis DRS.Specific surface area was determined by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)method.The morphology and elemental composition were characterized by SEM-EDS.XPS was used to determine the surface compositions and chemical character of elements.The sample sizes and microstructures were observed by TEM.The photocatalytic activities of TiO2 nanoparticles modified with rare earth metal gadolinium(Gd^3+ion or Gd2O3)were evaluated by degradation of methylene blue(MB)under UV light.Experimental results indicate that 2,5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2 shows the best photocatalytic activity compared with Gd2O3/TiO2 and pure TiO2.The existence of gadolinium can exhibit the aggregation and induce lattice distortion of TiO2 obtained from XRD,SEM and TEM results.The band gap energy of 2.5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2 decreases to3.07 eV and it leads to visible light absorption response which can be seen from UV-vis absorption spectra.The surface area of 2.5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2 equals to 85.8 m^2/g and average crystal size is 21.1 nm.EDS and XPS analyses reveal that gadolinium can be introduced either into TiO2 lattice or adsorbed on the surface of TiO2.The content of surface OH groups in 2.5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2 is 50,88%(1.55 times higher than that of pure TiO2)and the content of lattice oxygen decreases to 11.26%.The MB(25 mg/L)degradation reaction rate constants of 2,5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2,0.5 mol%Gd2O3/TiO2 and pure TiO2 were0.0713,0.0588 and 0.0263 min^-1,respectively.The degradation rates of rhodamine B(30 mg/L)in 60 min are 97,9%,90.1%and 84.6%for 2,5 mol%Gd^3+/TiO2,0.5 mol%Gd2O3/TiO2 and pure TiO2,respectively.Di Wu Chen Li Dashuai Zhang Lili Wang Xiaopeng Zhang Zaifeng Shi Qiang Lin 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,8:4
5Room-temperature production of silver-nanofiber film for large-area, transparent and flexible surface electromagnetic interference shielding显示文摘A kind of pollution known as electromagnetic interference(EMI),which results from ubiquitous usage of various electronic communication and military radar equipment,has been receiving increasing attention recently.However,large-area EMI shielding on transparent and/or curved surfaces,including building windows,curved glass wall,and special requirements spaces(SRSs),remains hard to achieve.In this paper,a silver nanofiber(AgNF)based flexible and transparent EMI shielding film was successfully assembled via a room-temperature roll-to-roll production method.For transparent application scenario,AgNF with 89%transmittance in visible range and 1μm thickness shows~20 dB shielding efficiency(EMI SE).On the other hand,total shielding(>50 dB)is obtained when the thickness of AgNF increases to 10μm,while its transmittance in visible range remains higher than 75%.Considering the facile and scale-free production technology,this material can be readily applied in large-scale,transparent,and/or SRSs EMI shielding.Sen Lin Haiyang Wang Fan Wu Qingmin Wang Xiaopeng Bai Di Zu Jianan Song Dong Wang Zhenglian Liu Ziwei Li Nian Tao Kai Huang Ming Lei Bo Li Hui Wu 2019npj Flexible Electronics2019,3,1:4
6Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 7Photocatalytic activity of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 prepared by ball milling method显示文摘Ball milling method was applied to prepare Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 photocatalysts. The catalysts were characterized with X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectra(UV-vis DRS), energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer(EDS), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) method. The photocatalytic activities were determined by the degradation of methylene blue(MB) equipped with a 300 W medium pressure mercury lamp. Results show that the first order reaction rate constants of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 and pure TiO_2 are0.0565 and 0.0263 min-1, respectively, which both were evaluated under the condition of catalysts loading of 0.2 g/L,initial concentration of 25 mg/L for MB, mole ratio of Lu^(3+)/TiO_2 of 1.5% and milling time of 4 h. 8Preparation and evaluation of sustained-release diltiazem hydrochloride pellets显示文摘In this study,diltiazem hydrochloride(DTZ)pellets were prepared successfully by extrusionespheronization method.Then methacrylic acid and ethylcellulose coating formulations were employed to make the DTZ pellets sustained release.The pellets with different coatings were investigated by in vitro dissolution tests.At last,the pellets with the best coating copolymer were subjected to pharmacokinetic studies in beagle dogs.The dissolution profiles of pellets coated with EudragitNE30D were similar to Herbesser,one of the marketed sustained release capsules.In the bioavailability study,the principal pharmacokinetic parameters of self-made pellets and the marketed ones were comparable;the relative bioavailability of DTZ sustained release capsules compared with Herbesserwas 98.536.4%.All the data indicated self-made sustained pellets could prolong the release of DTZ,decrease the fluctuation of drug level in vivo,and increase the compliance of patients.Xiaopeng Han Linan Wang Yinghua Sun Xiaohong Liu Wanjun Liu Yuqian Du Lin Li Jin Sun 2013Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2013,8,4:3
9Recent advances in molecular fluorescent probes for organic phosphate biomolecules recognition显示文摘Organic phosphate biomolecules(OPBs) are indispensable components of eukaryotes and prokaryotes,such as acting as the fundamental components of cell membranes and important substrates for nucleic acids. They play pivotal roles in various biological processes, such as energy conservation, metabolism,and signal modulation. Due to the difficulty of detection caused by variety OPBs, investigation of their respective physiological effects in organisms has been restrained by the lack of efficient tools. Many small fluorescent probes have been employed for selective detection and monitoring of OPBs in vitro or in vivo due to the advantages of tailored properties, biodegradability and in situ high temporal and spatial resolution imaging. In this review, we summarize the recent advances in fluorescent probes for OPBs,such as nucleotides, NAD(P)H, FAD/FMN and PS. 10Visual quality of juvenile myopes wearing multifocal soft contact lenses显示文摘Background:It is unclear whether multifocal soft contact lenses(MFSCLs)affect visual quality when they are used for myopia control in juvenile myopes.The aim of this study was,therefore,to investigate the effect of MFSCLs on visual quality among juvenile myopia subjects.Methods:In a prospective,intervention study,thirty-three juvenile myopes were enrolled.Visual perception was assessed by a quality of vision(QoV)questionnaire with spectacles at baseline and after 1 month of MFSCL wear.At the one-month visit,the high(96%)contrast distance visual acuity(distance HCVA)and low(10%)contrast distance visual acuity(distance LCVA)were measured with single vision spectacle lenses,single vision soft contact lenses(SVSCLs)and MFSCLs in a random order.Wavefront aberrations were measured with SVSCLs,with MFSCLs,and without any correction.Results:Neither distance HCVA(p>0.05)nor distance LCVA(p>0.05)revealed any significant difference between MFSCLs,SVSCLs and single vision spectacle lenses.The overall score(the sum of ten symptoms)of the QoV questionnaire did not show a statistically significant difference between spectacles at baseline and after 1 month of MFSCL wear(p=0.357).The results showed that the frequency(p<0.001),severity(p=0.001)and bothersome degree(p=0.016)of halos were significantly worse when wearing MFSCLs than when wearing single vision spectacle lenses.In contrast,the bothersome degree caused by focusing difficulty(p=0.046)and the frequency of difficulty in judging distance or depth perception(p=0.046)were better when wearing MFSCLs than when wearing single vision spectacle lenses.Compared with the naked eye,MFSCLs increased the total aberrations(p<0.001),higher-order aberrations(p<0.001),trefoil(p=0.023),coma aberrations(p<0.001)and spherical aberrations(SA)(p<0.001).Compared with the SVSCLs,MFSCLs increased the total aberrations(p<0.001),higher-order aberrations(p<0.001),coma aberrations(p<0.001)and SA(p<0.001).The direction of SA was more positive(p<0.001)with the MFSCLs and more negative(p=0.001)with the SVSCLs compared with the naked eye.Conclusions:Wearing MFSCLs can provide satisfactory corrected visual acuity(both distance HCVA and distance LCVA).Although the lenses increased the aberrations,such as total aberrations and higher-order aberrations,there were few adverse effects on the distance HCVA,distance LCVA and visual perception after 1 month of MFSCL use.Xiaopeng Huang Feifu Wang Zhiyi Lin Yifan He Shuyun Wen Ling Zhou Fan Lu Jun Jiang 2020Eye and Vision2020,7,1:2
11Construction of Highly Emissive Pt(Ⅱ) Metallacycles upon Irradiation显示文摘Photoswitchable or photoactivatable fluorescent species have been found wide applications within supramolecular chemistry and materials science.In this study,we successfully constructed two highly emissive Pt(Ⅱ)metallacycles from the diarylethene ligands via coordination-driven self-assembly.Different from the most known fluorescent metallacycles,the obtained metallacycles have displayed'turn-on'fluorescence switching.They are non-fluorescent in solution,but they emit highly yellow or orange fluorescence under ultraviolet irradiation.The metallacycles were well characterized by 1H NMR,31P NMR and ESI-TOF-MS.The photochromic properties of the resultant metallacycles were investigated by 1H NMR,31P NMR,UV/Vis spectrum and fluorescence spectrum.Notably,NMR studies revealed that these two metallacycles featured excellent cyclization efficiency(90% conversion efficiency).Moreover,the closed-ring isomers of the metallacycles displayed relatively high quantum yield(ФF=0.5).DFT simulations demonstrated that the antiparallel configuration of the diarylethene ligand had an angle closed to 120°,which was more stable in energy compared to the parallel configuration,thus allowing for the facile construction of highly emissive metallacycles.We believe that such highly emissive metallacycles which are in-situ prepared upon irradiation can be used as new fluorescence materials for sensing and bioimaging in the future.Yi Qin Ying Zhang Guangqiang Yin Yuxuan Wang Changwei Zhang Lijun Chen Hongwei Tan Xiaopeng Li Lin Xu Haibo Yang 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,4:2

20Room-temperature processing of silver submicron fiber mesh for flexible electronics显示文摘Ultrathin,patterned,conducting metallic fibers have been extensively studied as building blocks in flexible electronics.However,their scalable processing and attainment of patterns at room temperature is challenging.In this paper,we report on the patterning of ultra-long silver submicron fibers as woven mesh through the process of continuous draw spinning in the presence of ultraviolet(UV)treatment.The silver fibers can be directly intertwined on flexible substrates,such as polyethylene terephthalate(PET)and polyimide(PI).The as obtained silver submicron fiber mesh present excellent photoelectric properties(T=90%,R=9Ωsq^(−1))and outstanding flexibility and can be easily transferred on other surfaces.To demonstrate its application,flexible electrochromic smart window and infrared stealth film have been prepared.Xiaopeng Bai Sen Lin Haolun Wang Yi Zong Haiyang Wang Ziyun Huang Donglai Li Chang Wang Hui Wu 2018npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1:1
