1CONTINUITY AND BREAK OF CHATTER VIBRATION STATUS显示文摘By turning a specifically designed conical part, complete process of metal cutting, in which the chatter occurs and expands,is recorded and analyzed. This process exposes that chatter vibration has two characters called continuity and break.The continuity character means that vibration extent enlarges continuously while chatter frequency is almost changeless as the cutting depth extends downwards continuously. The break one is that chatter frequency moves rapidly downwards to a lower level while chatter remains after the cutting depth reach another given value. It is confirmed through an exciting test that the two chatter frequencies obtained in chatter test belong to the natural frequencies of workpiece system and cutting tool system respectively. From the viewpoints of chatter energy supplying and chatter mass effect, the chatter should occur on one of the two final executive components in its natural frequency. On this basis, a new chatter model with two chatter active bodies is proposed. 2Precision Design for Machine Tool Based on Error Prediction显示文摘Digitization precision analysis is an important tool to ensure the design precision of machine tool currently.The correlative research about precision modeling and analysis mainly focuses on the geometry precision and motion precision of machine tool,and the forming motion precision of workpiece surface.For the machine tool with complex forming motion,there is not accurate corresponding relationship between the existing criterion on precision design and the machining precision of workpiece.Therefore,a design scheme on machine tool precision based on error prediction is proposed,which is divided into two-stage digitization precision analysis crucially.The first stage aims at the technology system to complete the precision distribution and inspection from the workpiece to various component parts of technology system and achieve the total output precision of machine tool under the specified machining precision;the second stage aims at the machine tool system to complete the precision distribution and inspection from the output precision of machine tool to the machine tool components.This article serves YK3610 gear hobber as the example to describe the error model of two systems and basic application method,and the practical cutting precision of this machine tool achieves to 5-4-4 grade.The proposed method can provide reliable guidance to the precision design of machine tool with complex forming motion.HUANG Qiang ZHANG Genbao 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,1:5

4Improving photosynthesis of microalgae by changing the ratio of light-harvesting pigments显示文摘Changing the ratio of light-harvesting pigments was regarded as an efficient way to improve the photosyn-thesis rate in microalgae, but the underlying mechanism is still unclear. In the present study, a mutant of Anabeana simensis (called SP) was selected from retrieved satellite cul-tures. Several parameters related with photosynthesis, such as the growth, photosynthesis rate, the content of photosyn-thetic pigment, low temperature fluorescence spectrum (77K) and electron transport rate, were compared with those of the wild type. It was found that the change in the ratio of light-harvesting pigments in the mutant led to more efficient light energy transfer and usage in mutant than in the wild type. 5Submerged vegetation removal promotes shift of dominant phytoplankton functional groups in a eutrophic lake显示文摘Historical data indicate that the dominance of submerged plants in Dianchi Lake in the 1960 s was characterized by low algal density with dominance of non-toxic group J(Scenedesmus,Pediastrum,etc.). The removal of submerged plants,which began in the 1970 s,resulted in the expansion of bloom-forming Microcystis(group M). Laboratory experiments suggested that Microcystis aeruginosa was inclined to grow and develop at elevated temperatures. The growth of Scenedesmus obliquus was slower than that of co-cultivated M. aeruginosa in the absence of Ceratophyllum demersum,especially at higher temperatures. The existence of submerged plant C. demersum could inhibit the growth of the harmful algae M. aeruginosa and this inhibitory effect by C. demersum was enhanced with an increase in temperature. Instead,with C. demersum,the growth of S. obliquus was not inhibited,but the co-cultivated M. aeruginosa was eliminated in a short time. Combined with the historical data and laboratory experiments,it was indicated that the submerged plants might play important roles in the dominance of the non-toxic group J in the historical succession. 20The algae-lytic ability of bacterium DC_(10) and the influence of environmental factors on the ability显示文摘A lysing-bacterium DC10, isolated from Dianchi Lake of Yunnan Province, was characterized to be Pseudomonas sp. It was able to lyse some algae well, such as Microcystis viridis, Selenastrum capricornutum, and so on. In this study, it was shown that the bacterium lysed the algae by releasing a substance; the best lytic effects were achieved at low tempera- tures and in the dark. Different concentrations of CaCl2 and NaNO3 influenced the lytic effects; the ability to lyse algae decreased in the following order: pH 4 > pH 9 > pH 7 > pH 5.5.
