1Evaluation of small bowel blood flow in healthy subjects receiving low-dose aspirin显示文摘AIM:To investigate the relationship between low-dose aspirin-induced small bowel mucosal damage and blood flow,and the effect of rebamipide. METHODS:Ten healthy volunteers were enrolled in this study.The subjects were divided into two groups:a placebo group given low-dose aspirin plus placebo and a rebamipide group given low-dose aspirin plus rebamipide for a period of 14 d.Capsule endoscopy and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography were performed before and after administration of drugs.Areas under the curves and peak value of time-intensity curve were calculated. RESULTS:Absolute differences in areas under the curves were-1102.5(95%CI:-1980.3 to-224.7,P=0.0194) in the placebo group and-152.7(95%CI:-1604.2 to 641.6,P=0.8172) in the rebamipide group. Peak values of time intensity curves were-148.0(95% CI:-269.4 to-26.2,P=0.0225) in the placebo group and 28.3(95%CI:-269.0 to 325.6,P=0.8343) in the rebamipide group.Capsule endoscopy showed mucosal breaks only in the placebo group. 9Orbit insertion strategy of Hayabusa2’s rover with large release uncertainty around the asteroid Ryugu显示文摘This paper describes the orbit design of the deployable payload Rover 2 of MINERVA-II,installed on the Hayabusa2 spacecraft.Because Rover 2 did not have surface exploration capabilities,the operation team decided to experiment with a new strategy for its deployment to the surface.The rover was ejected at a high altitude and made a semi-hard landing on the surface of the asteroid Ryugu after several orbits.Based on the orbital analysis around Ryugu,the expected collision speed was tolerable for the rover to function post-impact.Because the rover could not control its position,its motion was entirely governed by the initial conditions.Thus,the largest challenge was to insert the rover into a stable orbit(despite its large release uncertainty),and avoid its escape from Ryugu due to an environment strongly perturbed by solar radiation pressure and gravitational irregularities.This study investigates the solution space of the orbit around Ryugu and evaluates the orbit’s robustness by utilizing Monte Carlo simulations to determine the orbit insertion policy.Upon analyzing the flight data of the rover operation,we verified that the rover orbited Ryugu for more than one period and established the possibility of a novel method for estimating the gravity of an asteroid.Yusuke Oki Kent Yoshikawa Hiroshi Takeuchi Shota Kikuchi Hitosi Ikeda Daniel JScheeres Jay WMcMahon Junichiro Kawaguchi Yuto Takei Yuya Mimasu Naoko Ogawa Go Ono Fuyuto Terui Manabu Yamada Toru Kouyama Shingo K ameda Kazuya Yoshida Kenji Nagaoka Tetsuo Yoshimitsu Takanao Saiki Yuichi Tsuda 2020Astrodynamics2020,4,4:1

13Potential sex differences in activation of pain-related brain regions in nonhuman primates with a unilateral spinal nerve ligation显示文摘The lack of truly robust analgesics for chronic pain is owed,in part,to the lack of an animal model that reflects the clinical pain state and of a mechanismbased,objective neurological indicator of pain.The present study examined stimulus-evo ked brain activation with functional magnetic resonance imaging in male and female cynomolgus macaques following unilateral L7 spinal nerve ligation and the effects of clinical analgesics pregabalin,duloxetine,and morphine on brain activation in these macaques.A modified straight leg raise test was used to assess pain severity in awake animals and to evo ke regional brain activation in anesthetized animals.The potential effects of clinical analgesics on both awake pain behavior and regional brain activation were examined.Following spinal nerve ligation,both male and female macaques showed significantly decreased ipsilateral straight leg raise thresholds,suggesting the presence of radicula rlike pain.Morphine treatment increased straight leg raise thresholds in both males and females whereas duloxetine and pregabalin did not.In male macaques,the ipsilateral straight leg raise activated contralateral insular and somatosensory cortex(Ins/SII),and thalamus.In female macaques,the ipsilateral leg raise activated cingulate cortex and contralateral insular and somatosensory cortex.Straight leg raises of the contralateral,unligated leg did not evoke brain activation.Morphine reduced activation in all brain regions in both male and female macaques.In males,neither pregabalin nor duloxetine decreased brain activation compared with vehicle treatment.In females,however,pregabalin and duloxetine decreased the activation of cingulate cortex compared with vehicle treatment.The current findings suggest a diffe rential activation of brain areas depending on sex following a peripheral nerve injury.Diffe rential brain activation observed in this study could underlie qualitative sexual dimorphism in clinical chronic pain perception and responses to analgesics.Future pain management approaches for neuropathic pain will need to consider potential sex differences in pain mechanism and treatment efficacy.Kanae Murata Kenya Nozawa Mayumi Matsushita Aozora Yamashita Rintaro Fujii Yuji Awaga Aldric Hama Takahiro Natsume Go Yoshida Yukihiro Matsuyama Hiroyuki Takamatsu 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,11:0

15In-situ evaluation for activated concrete in accelerator facility with scintillation-type gamma-ray spectrometer显示文摘The assessment of activated concrete is particularly difficult during the decommissioning of an accelerator facility.Destructive analysis by core boring is the only method of investigating the activity of concrete material.To address this problem,an in-situ and nondestructive analysis method was developed to determineγ-ray-emitting nuclides and their specific activities in the concrete walls and floor by using a portable germanium semiconductor detector.In this work,we examined a substitute for Ge detector to establish a simpler and more convenient method.As candidates,we focused on some scintillation type spectrometers,and the possibility of a substitute for a Ge detector was examined by both simulation and experiment.The detection limits were roughly estimated through Monte Carlo simulation for various scintillation crystals,and it was found that 1.5-inch LaBr3,CeBr3,and SrI2 could distinguish the clearance level.It was confirmed that the 1.5-inch LaBr3 could reproduce the calibration curve of the Ge detector in the experiment.The required thickness and length of the radiation shield for suppressing the background radiation during the measurement was also determined for the convenience of an actual decommissioning work.Go Yoshida Hiroshi Matsumura Koichi Nishikawa Akihiro Toyoda Yoshiharu Miyazaki Kazuyoshi Masumoto Hajime Nakamura Taichi Miura 2020辐射防护2020,40,6:0
