1Thermal cracking of aviation kerosene for scramjet applications显示文摘Thermal cracking of China No.3 aviation kerosene was studied experimentally and analytically under supercritical conditions relevant to regenerative cooling system for Mach-6 scramjet applications. A two-stage heated tube system with cracked products collection/analysis was used and it can achieve a fuel temperature range of 700―1100 K,a pressure range of 3.5―4.5 MPa and a residence time of ap-proximately 0.5―1.3 s. Compositions of the cracked gaseous products and mass flow rate of the kerosene flow at varied temperatures and pressures were obtained experimentally. A one-step lumped model was developed with the cracked mixtures grouped into three categories:unreacted kerosene,gaseous products and residuals including liquid products and carbon deposits. Based on the model,fuel conversion on the mass basis,the reaction rate and the residence time were estimated as functions of temperature. Meanwhile,a sonic nozzle was used for the control of the mass flow rate of the cracked kerosene,and correlation of the mass flow rate gives a good agreement with the measurements.ZHONG FengQuan FAN XueJun YU Gong LI JianGuo 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,9:18
2Neural Networks Combined with Importance Sampling Techniques for Reliability Evaluation of Explosive Initiating Device显示文摘Concerning the issue of high-dimensions and low-failure probabilities including implicit and highly nonlinear limit state function, reliability analysis based on the directional importance sampling in combination with the radial basis function (RBF) neural network is used, and the RBF neural network based on first-order reliability method (FORM) is to approximate the unknown implicit limit state functions and calculate the most probable point (MPP) with iterative algorithm. For good efficiency, based on the ideas that directional sampling reduces dimensionality and importance sampling focuses on the domain contributing to failure probability, the joint probability density function of importance sampling is constructed, and the sampling center is moved to MPP to ensure that more random sample points draw belong to the failure domain and the simulation efficiency is improved. 5Serotonin in human skin显示文摘In this review the authors summarize data of a potential role for serotonin in human skin physiology and pathology. The uncovering of endogenous serotonin synthesis and its transformation to melatonin underlines a putative important role of this pathway in melanocyte physiology and pathology. Pathways of the biosynthesis and biodegradation of serotonin have been characterized in human beings and its major cellular populations. Moreover, receptors of serotonin are expressed on keratinocytes, melanocytes, and fibroblasts and these mediate phenotypic actions on cellular proliferation and differentiation. And the widespread expression of a cutaneous seorotoninergic system indicates considerable selectivity of action to facilitate intra-, auto-, or paracrine mechanisms that define and influence skin function in a highly compartmentalized manner. Melatonin, in turn, can also act as a hormone, neurotransmitter, cytokine, biological modifier and immunomodulator. 6All five COVID-19 outbreaks during epidemic period of 2020/2021 in China were instigated by asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic individuals显示文摘Introduction:The significance of asymptomatic or pre-asymptomatic individuals in driving the COVID-19 epidemic in China or other countries remains uncertain.Method:We collected and analyzed all the epidemiologic and virological diagnostic details of the infected individuals released by public health authorities and reiterated every episode of outbreak on a timeline.All individuals associated with the five outbreaks had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection.Results:In this study,all five COVID-19 outbreaks reported in China since October 2020 were analyzed.The Kashgar outbreak in Xinjiang province came into light for the first time on October 22,2020.However,it was initiated before October 11,2020,by a local asymptomatic import and export worker,who was infected at the working place.Subsequently,his wife caught the infection,which led to 430 more infections reported in the outbreak.The Beijing outbreak with 41 cases was noticed for the first time on December 22,2020.However,our analysis revealed that it was initiated by an asymptomatic individual from Indonesia on December 10,2020.The Shenyang outbreak,with 38 cases,noticed for the first time on December 23,2020,was initiated by a pre-symptomatic individual from South Korea on December 13,2020.Conclusion:The asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic individuals during the asymptomatic period were unsuspectingly infected by SARS-CoV-2,and unintentionally transmitted the virus to a large number of people.These findings suggest that early detection of asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic individuals is of critical importance in preventing future outbreaks or epidemics.Caixin Yang Sihui Zhang Shan Lu Jing Yang Yanpeng Cheng Yue Liu Lijun Zhao Jian Gong Jianguo Xu 2021Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity2021,3,1:1
