3Correlation of microstructure and magnetic properties in Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.1)Cu_(0.1)Zr_(0.033))_(6.93) magnets solution-treated at different temperatures显示文摘The correlation of microstructure and magnetic properties in Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.1)Cu_(0.1)Zr_(0.033))_(6.93) magnets solution-treated at different temperatures was systematically investigated. It is found that the magnets solution-treated at 1219℃ possess a single 1:7 H phase, exhibiting the homogeneous cellular structure during further aging treatment, leading to the optimum magnetic properties. However, for the magnets solution-treated at 1211 and 1223℃,2:17 H or 1:5 H secondary phase will also form besides 1:7 H main phase, which cannot transform into cellular structure,thus deteriorating the magnetic properties greatly. The irreversible magnetization investigations with recoil loops also propose a non-uniform pinning in the magnets induced by the secondary precipitates. At proper solution temperature, Zr is supposed to occupy the Fe-Fe dumbbell sites in the form of Zr-vacancy pairs, leading to the minimum c/a ratio and thus stabilizing the 1:7 H phase. 6Tailored PEDOT:PSS hole transport layer for higher performance in perovskite solar cells: Enhancement of electrical and optical properties with improved morphology显示文摘Precise control over the charge carrier dynamics throughout the device can result in outstanding performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)is the most actively studied hole transport material in p-i-n structured PSCs.However,charge transport in the PEDOT:PSS is limited and inefficient because of its low conductivity with the presence of the weak ionic conductor PSS.In addition,morphology of the underlying PEDOT:PSS layer in PSCs plays a crucial role in determining the optoelectronic quality of the active perovskite absorber layer.This work is focused on realization of a non-wetting conductive surface of hole transport layer suitable for the growth of larger perovskite crystalline domains.This is accomplished by employing a facile solventengineered(ethylene glycol and methanol)approach resulting in removal of the predominant PSS in PEDOT:PSS.The consequence of acquiring larger perovskite crystalline domains was observed in the charge carrier dynamics studies,with the achievement of higher charge carrier lifetime,lower charge transport time and lower transfer impedance in the solvent-engineered PEDOT:PSS-based PSCs.Use of this solventengineered treatment for the fabrication of MAPbI3 PSCs greatly increased the device stability witnessing a power conversion efficiency of 18.18%,which corresponds to^37%improvement compared to the untreated PEDOT:PSS based devices.Khan Mamun Reza Ashim Gurung Behzad Bahrami Sally Mabrouk Hytham Elbohy Rajesh Pathak Ke Chen Ashraful Haider Chowdhury Md Tawabur Rahman Steven Letourneau Hao-Cheng Yang Gopalan Saianand Jeffrey WElam Seth BDarling Qiquan Qiao 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,5:4

9SAR interferometric coherence analysis for snow cover mapping in the western Himalayan region显示文摘Information of snow cover(SC)over Himalayan regions is very important for regional climatological and hydrological studies.Precise monitoring of SC in the Himalayan region is essential for water supply to hydropower stations,irrigation requirements,and flood forecasting.Microwave remote sensing has all weather,day and night earth observation capability unlike optical remote sensing.In this study,spaceborne synthetic aperture radar interferometric(InSAR)coherence analysis is used to monitor SC over Himalayan rugged terrain.The feasibility of monitoring SC using synthetic aperture radar(SAR)interferometry depends on the ability to maintain coherence over InSAR pair acquisition time interval.ERS-1/2 InSAR coherence and ENVISAT ASAR InSAR coherence images are analyzed for SC mapping.Data sets of winter and of snow free months of the Himalayan region are taken for interferogram generation.Coherence images of the available data sets show maximum decorrelation in most of the area which indicates massive snowfall in the region in the winter season and melting in the summer.Area showing coherence loss due to decorrelation is mapped as a snowcovered area.The result is validated with field observations of snow depth and it is found that standing snow is inversely related to coherence in the Himalayan region.Vijay Kumar Gopalan Venkataraman 2011International Journal of Digital Earth2011,4,1:3

14Oncogene GAEC1 regulates CAPN10 expression which predicts survival in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To identify the downstream regulated genes of GAEC1 oncogene in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and their clinicopathological significance. METHODS: The anti-proliferative effect of knocking down the expression of GAEC1 oncogene was stud-ied by using the RNA interference (RNAi) approach through transfecting the GAEC1 -overexpressed esophageal carcinoma cell line KYSE150 with the pSilencer vector cloned with a GAEC1 -targeted sequence, followed by MTS cell proliferation assay and cell cycle analysis using flow cytometry. RNA was then extracted from the parental, pSilencer-GAEC1 -targeted sequence transfected and pSilencer negative control vector transfected KYSE150 cells for further analysis of different patterns in gene expression. Genes differentially expressed with suppressed GAEC1 expression were then determined using Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 cDNA microarray analysis by comparing with the parental cells and normalized with the pSilencer negative control vector transfected cells. The most prominently regulated genes were then studied by immunohistochemical staining using tissue microarrays to determine their clinicopathological correlations in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by statistical analyses. RESULTS: The RNAi approach of knocking down gene expression showed the effective suppression of GAEC1 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell line KYSE150 that resulted in the inhibition of cell proliferation and increase of apoptotic population. cDNA microarray analysis for identifying differentially expressed genes detected the greatest levels of downregulation of calpain 10 (CAPN10 ) and upregulation of trinucleotide repeat containing 6C (TNRC6C ) transcripts when GAEC1 expression was suppressed. At the tissue level, the high level expression of calpain 10 protein was significantly associated with longer patient survival (month) of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma compared to the patients with low level of calpain 10 expression (37.73 ± 16.33 vs 12.62 ± 12.44, P = 0.032). No significant correction was observed among the TNRC6C protein expression level and the clinocopathologcial features of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. CONCLUSION: GAEC1 regulates the expression of CAPN10 and TNRC6C downstream. 15High-quality reference genes for quantifying the transcriptional responses of Oryza sativa L. (ssp. indica and japonica) to abiotic stress conditions显示文摘Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is important to food security and is also an excellent model plant for numerous cereal crops. A functional genomics study in rice includes characterization of the expression dynamics of genes by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) analysis; this is a significant key for developing rice varieties that perform well in the face of adverse climate change. The qPCR analysis requires the use of appropriate reference genes in order to make any quantitative interpretations meaningful. Here, the new potential reference genes were selected from a huge public database of rice microarray experiments. The expression stability of 14 candidates and 4 conventional reference genes was validated by geNorm PLUS and NormFinder software. Seven candidates are superior to the conventionally used reference genes in qPCR and three genes can be used reliably for quantitating the expression of genes involved in abiotic stress responses. These high-quality references EP (LOC_Os05g08980), HNR (LOC_Os01g71770), and TBC (LOC_Os09g34040) worked very well in three indica genotypes and one japonica genotype.
